Don't Get Blood On The Tiles
Date of Scene: 10 May 2020
Location: Underground Gambling Den, Chinatown, NYC
Synopsis: Kaminari takes Sally and Heidi to an underground gambling den in Chinatown with cage fights. It doesn't take them long to cause a scene and be asked never to return by the Triad boss who owns the place.
Cast of Characters: Kaminari, Sally Houki, Heidi Ingerdottir

Kaminari has posed:
One thing not many people know about Kaminari, at least not her modern fans, she loves Mahjong. She was an early adopter in the 17th Century and hundreds of years later has not tired of the game. She is of coursed banned from most Mahjong gambling parlours, the ones that know her anyway, but she has just moved to New York and some tips from the local Kunitsu-Kami population have lead her to a particularly seedy gambling den in New York's Chinatown.

And what is more fun than gambling alone? Gambling with friends! When you live a life in the public eye you take real solace in the people you can just be yourself around, which is why she has invited Sally to come with her and of course Sally has invited their new friend Heidi!

The front for the gambling operation is a bustling Dim Sum restaurent called The Big Wong. Leading the way Kaminari heads towards the back of the restaurent. She is wearing her usual baseball cap and dark sunglasses, as well as hiphop looking attire and a long black wig for good measure, desperately trying to pass herself off as a Chinese tourist. She's known in China too by various names, so she isn't taking chances. Once at the back she whispers something to a supervisor in Cantonese, who gives her friends a long 'are you fucking serious' eye, but they are ultimately ushered through into the kitchen and down some stairs to where the real cashflow of the establishment comes from.

The first thing that will hit those entering is the smoke, a heady cloud of tobacco, opium, and other things as well. Scattered around this smoke-filled underground chamber are an array of gambling tables, Mahjong, Keno, Pai Gao, but the real attraction is the cage in the center where bare knuckled martial artist blood sport is bet upon. There are no rules in the cage, just to win. Only the greatest of martial artists who have mastered their chi and metahumans need apply.

Into this atmosphere steps the disguised Kaminari, she takes a deep breath unbothered by the smokey atmosphere and removes her kiseru from her handbag apparently intent on adding to it. The pipe is lit and she looks around the room before glancing over her shoulder to make sure the other two are still behind her and haven't been shanghai'ed or something.

Sally Houki has posed:
How could she not invite Heidi? Truth be told, Sally saw some good probabilities from this and had a good feeling about bringing her! Of course, that could also mean total disaster is about to ensue as a result, but who knows? In any event, she sought Kaminari's permission, it was received, and Heidi invited along for the ride. She's more than happy to catch an Uber to the locale and then walk inside. Her nose wrinkle4s at the smoke, but she holds the door for Heidi politely. "We'll stick close to Kaminari until we get a feel for the place," she explained to her on the way over, "and then we can do the betting! Just follow my lead on the bets, huh?" Her eyes scan around the interior and, well, they're definitely traversing the games. All of them. Oohh yes. She does like to gamble. It's not an addiction... she's just really frigging good at it.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi is well-acquainted with the 'are you fucking serious' eye. She's gotten it many a time and tends to return it with the brightest of smiles. Her attention, though, is more on her surroundings as she seems very interested in seeing all that's being done and offered. While perhaps she's never been in a place like this, she's experienced /similar/. Games of luck seemed to be similar cross-culturally as well as cross-realm.

She does know she's the one out of place here, so she's more than willing to let both Kami and Sally navigate both the geographical location and the general circumstances of what they're there for. Instead, she just seems more than content to take everything in. "I'm very glad I got to be here. This is certainly a side of Midgard I have not seen before." She seems /very/ entertained.

Kaminari has posed:
The Chinese Hip Hop disguise version of Kaminari blows out a long steady stream of smoke contributing to the overall cloud hovering in the air. Down here it's nigh impossible to tell what she might be smoking in that kiseru of hers as a myriad of scents pleasant and otherwise mingle together in the smoke. Once she has made sure Sally and Heidi are still behind her and not in sacks on their way to Shangai for sale, her gaze returns to the tables, specifically the Mahjong tables, and finding one with only three players drops into the fourth chair.

From her purse a stack of notes, American hundred dollar bills, is produced and slammed on to the table. "You need a fourth, right? Deal me in."

The gazes that Kaminari receives from the other three older Chinese gentlemen seated around the table are not exactly cheritable. Her money seems welcome enough though and who are they to overlook a chance to relieve a brash young woman of her money.

Kaminari for her part just smiles back at them and gestures with one hand for Sally and Heidi to come and watch.

Sally Houki has posed:
For her part, Sally is dressed up... about as ridiculous and colorfully as ever. Her hair is done in twintails and dyed a light lavender today because of course it is, and her flortal pattern dress has some mighty shoulder pads on it decorated with roses. Because why not?

Sally dresses eccentrically *every* day.

Sally, of course, gravitates towards the games of chance she can place bets on, not to mention the fights. She has cash, and she'll USE it.

That said, the cage fight is definitely getting her observation. She didn't know about it, but now she's glanced towards Heidi and back again. Already, she's imagining the potential fortune she can make in one evening -- to of course be shared with her friend! OF /course/ she is.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi looks like a really tall flower child from the 70s at best, complete with a small flower tucked into one of her braids. Her clothes are flowy and comfortable, light-colored and light-weight. It's certainly easy to move in--she doesn't tend to wear anything she can't move in easily. She wanders closer with the clear intention of watching.

She has no idea what the game is, but she's hoping she can figure it out by the way they're playing it. It's almost a puzzle, trying to figure out what the pieces mean and what the faces the Chinese gentlemen are making also mean. That part she's figured out for the most part.

Kaminari has posed:
The game that Kaminari is playing seems almost like a card game but is played with small colorful tiles of different numbered glyphs and a few special glyphs. The tiles seem to fall into suits that are not too hard to recognize, coin looking things, bamboo looking things, kanji characters, etc. and the whole game seems to play vaguely reminiscent to Rummy.

"Ron." Kaminari tells the men showing them her tiles which all seem to line up in runs or three or more of the same. This apparently means that she wins. The other men at the table do not look happy, they were clearly not expecting such a fast or decisive victory.

"Beginners luck?" she offers in Cantonese though their attention is definitely on her now.

Away from the Mahjong tables there is also Pai Gow, a game played unique looking Chinese Dominoes combining both skill and luck. Perhaps most attractive to Sally though is Keno, where participants choose a series of numbers to bet on and then random numbers are drawn with better matches earning payouts.

In the cage inself are two fighters that at first glance do not appear so remarkable, that is unless one is quite familiar with combat themselves. The insenity of the blows they are trading is some next level power and the longer one watches the more they realize this more akin to watching Bruce Lee versus Ip Man than your run of the mill UFC or K1 fight.

The longer one remains down here and their eyes adjust to the gloom they also begin to notice the Chinese men in dark suits ringing the periphery, Triad Enforcers watching for any sign of funny business and their eyes definitely seem to be tracking the odd trio that just arrived.

Sally Houki has posed:
Of course, Sally can't speak cantones,e but her English is pretty dang good and has only the lightest of accents most of the time. Same goes for her Chinese, actually, and she's used both ehre so far. The fights definitely have much attention from her and she sweeps over towards Heidi and leans over to whisper into her ear, after pointing at the cage fight.

"Heeeey. How do you feel about fighting in the cage? You've said before you want to prove yourself, right? Well, here is a good chance to test yourself against some of them! Also, you can bet on it and make lots of money." She beams at her. "It's all technically illegal but, you know, fun." The illegality of their surroundings doesn't bother her, not at all. It's old hat for her, after all. She's keeping an eye on Kami, though. One never knows when she's gonna need to be... redirected.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi is more than content to watch, expression very serious as she seems to slowly be taking in the rules. As far as the cage, she's looking at it with some curiosity, but she doesn't approach. Sally draws her attention with it as well. "Fighting for money, then?" She seems thoughtful. "Well, it isn't as if it isn't an easy thing to do but..." There's a long pause. "Is it very dignified?"

Kaminari has posed:
"Ron." Kaminari says again showing another winning hand and collecting the sticks that represent points from the center of the table. The older Chinese gentlemen around her table are no longer smiling. They seem unable to comprehend how a young girl is beating them and they don't like it.

There is a lot of cheering and shouting around the fight cage, men and women waving the tickets representing their wagers in the air as they cheer on their chosen fighter. It's not looking good for one of the fighters now, after an audibly bone cracking kick to the ribs the other fighter has the clear upper hand.

Sally Houki has posed:
"I don't know that I'd call it... /inherently/ dignified," says Sally as the bones crack, "but I figure it's as dignified as you yourself decided it to be since you kinda carry that sort of thing with you, right? DOn't feel compelled on my account. If you'd rather not, it's TOTALLY okay. Plenty of fun to be had by all but I admit I just wanna see you kick some BUTT." She nods, smartly, and then goes to place a bet or two, leaving Heidi momentarily to make her decision.

She totally did not just get distracted from her at all.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi glances back towards Kami, looking incredibly amused at how annoyed everyone is at the success. She clearly wasn't cheating, but it certainly appeared the youthfulness was throwing them off. "I feel as if they might grow angry at some point." She states this quite clearly, as if neither of them were aware of this.

That cage fight, though. She makes a face. "Perhaps it would be a good amount of money, but I do wonder if it would be..." She trails off, unsure if she likes or dislikes the idea. She does seem torn.

Kaminari has posed:
The fact that Kaminari is not cheating is perhaps the most frustrating part for her opponents. The Triads have a business to run and undoubtedly keep some senory types around just in case of shenanigans, yet the men in dark suits positioned around remain unnotified and unmoving. "Ron." There is is again, a third straight win for Kaminari as fists clench and invectives are shouted. Kaminari for her part is still smiling though the atmosphere around the table is growing...tense moving into the final hand of the round.

In the cage the injured martial artist eventually capitulates tapping out. His opponent gives a victory yell walking the circuit around the inside perimeter with his hands in the air before retiring to his chair outside one of the ring entrances to hydrate and clean off the blood. Outside the cage betting receipts are cashed in by those who bet on the winner, while the others throw theirs to the ground in disgust.

Sally Houki has posed:
"Honorable? Appropriate behavior for yourself? That's a question you can answer and I can't -- but I figure it's a good chance to practice!" Sally has rejoined Heidi after placing several seemingly random bets on various outcokmes. She is highly distracted from the look of her. So many places, so many probabilities, so many *things* to keep her busy. It's enough to give her a headache, given the way she's pinching the bridge of her nose. "Besides, our friend will probably get us all thrown out before too long." She means Kaminari.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Something Sally says seems to make sense as Heidi slowly nods in approval. "Why yes, it /would/ be good practice." There's a long pause and she tilts her head to the side. She first looks to Kami, then back to Sally, and she leans in closer to the latter of the two. "Friend Sally, are we trying to make as much money as possible and then get kicked out? Is this the plan?"

She doesn't seem disapproving. In fact, she seems quite the opposite.

Kaminari has posed:
"Kan! Kan! Tsumo! Rinshan Kaihou!" Kaminari calls out the special scoring yaku from her hand as she slams the last tile down essentially defeating all three of her opponents simultaneously with one of the most difficult Yakuman to pull off. Across the table from her there is just dumbfounded silence for a few moments, their expressions she has to be cheating right? Right?!

Meanwhile, with the main event finished for the moment some staff members are mopping the blood up inside of the cage as the Bookies finish making payouts. Though the challenger's entrance into the cage has conveniently been left open.

Sally Houki has posed:
Sally gives Heidi a very wide-eyed look. Innocence manifest. She can pull it off well. A hand goes over her heart.

"Friend Heidi, whatever gave you that incredibly improbable idea?!" A pause, a more quiet answer: "I mean, even if I don't get kicked out, I'm fairly sure that our other friend is going to start getting eyed so I'm just gonna make the best of it while I can." She beams at her, and nods towards the challenger's box. She expects Heidi will get underestimated and she can reap a pretty sweet sweep.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
"I hope you know that I find this idea /exhilarating/," Heidi says, hurriedly, in low (for her) tone. She marches towards the challenger's box, then a few steps before it her posture changes. Suddenly she's more like a timid rabbit than a mighty Asgardian warrior.

"Oh, is this where I stand? I've never done this before, but I'd very much like to fight!" Oh yeah, she gets the picture. Kami's nice example of letting them underestimate her has been a clear inspiration.

Kaminari has posed:
Kaminari reaches out and pulls her winnings towards her across the table. "That's impossible!" one of the men shouts in Cantonese as he jumps to his feet causing quite a stir. "What's impossible is how bad you are at this game." Kaminari retorts. "It's fine, I don't like bullying beginners. I'll find a more challenging table." and with that she cashes out a stack of money quite a bit larger than what she initially put down, though the anger in the air around her is palpable.

It is times like these that the Allspeak comes in handy as the mop carrying staff member that approaches Heidi is speaking Cantonese at her. "Get lost little girl, this is where men fight. You're just going to get your pretty face ruined."

Sally Houki has posed:
Oh, this is going even btter than anticipated! There's Sally, while all eyes are on either Kaminari and Heidi, is busily placing more bets at seeming random. here, there, everywhere. She's already starting to rake in a little cash, but in scattered amounts. A seemingly random pattern of wins and losses.

And, of course, she's gonna bet a lot on Heidi.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Now that Heidi looks a little weak, she'll throw in enough sass to make the pot appealing. Thanks to the Allspeak, she not only understands what is being said... but she can reply to it and be understood. She stares blatantly at him with a very slow up and down look. "I am fairly certain I am not the little one here. If you are certain my face will be ruined, then I look forward to the fight. Unless courage is also small here." She gazes slowly around the room.

Kaminari has posed:
At this point Kaminari's attention has partially shifted over towards the fight cage where Heidi is having her exchange with one of the blood mopping employees. For now she just continues to stuff money into her purse while she watches and takes a long pull from whatever is in her kiseru pipe.

The Chinese man holding the mop makes a face at Heidi, "Just seems like a waste of a pretty face when there's so many better things you could be doing with it." he shrugs and shouts towards the VIP Box that overlooks the pit, "Hey boss the white chick wants to fight Lee."

Sally Houki has posed:
Sally, of course, has somehow found herself a bag of popcorn because of course she has. She's settling into observe, trying not to be too obvious about her enthusiasm for Heidi to kick ass. She settles for a muted, "Girl power!"

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi is doing her best to balance between trying to look weak and trying to egg them on. "I am also sure that you have talents that go beyond a mop but you are clearly not interested in using them." She folds her arms, looking around as she waits for an opponent. She is, of course, still expecting an actual battle. She does not know how strong this 'Lee' is, after all.

She tries to recall what they looked like in the boxing movie she had watched, and she punches the air while hopping back and forth, foot to foot. It does not look intimidating... which may be the point.

Kaminari has posed:
The guys with the mops finish up what they are doing and exit the cage area through a service gate, leaving Heidi alone inside. A few moments later the other competitor's entrance opens and in comes Lee. He's recognizable from the last fight, a tall well built Chinese young man in his mid 20's with short cropped black hair and built like a rock. Bodyfat doesn't seem to exist for him. Whatever injuries he had also seem to have disappeared in the short span of time since he was last in the cage.

Lee sizes up Heidi looking her up and down, "You sure you wouldn't rather 'fight' in my bed?" he gives her a leering grin before shouting up towards the VIP Box, "Is this for real?"

Kaminari's interest is on the cage now, it doesn't seem she had expected this turn of events, but she is definitely entertained by it. One of the slighted older gentlemen from the Mahjong table she was at comes up behind her and tries to lay a hand on her shoulder though he's greeted by a swift elbow to his midsection hard enough to rob him of all of his air as she just steps towards the fighting cages leaving him gasping for breath.

Sally Houki has posed:
"Yay! Trash talk!" Sally claps her hands together and hops in place. Space cadet Sally is a GO.

She makes a little heart with her hands towards the cage. It's mostly for Heidi, but you know, maybe Lee will think its for him. He seems misogynistic and arrogant enough for it.

She then starts working the crowd, of course. She wants people to bet on the fights, cheerfully chattering with the locals in english or chinese as needed.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi proceeds to size Lee up as well, visually assessing him. His comment about fighting in bed gets the tiniest look of amusement from the Asgardian. "Why, did you want to lose there too?" She tilts her head to the side, then offers a polite smile. "Would you like the first punch? I find it is a nice gesture to foster good rapport with an opponent."

She moves to put a hand to her hip. "Unless you would prefer I slaughter you with foul language while we are engaged in fierce combat." She offers a bright, warm smile. "Either is fine by me."

Kaminari has posed:
Kaminari's eyes flicker left and right seemingly making mental notes on the position of the various Triad enforcers positioned around the room. Things are rapidly looking like becoming a repeat customer is not in the cards. Not that she is terribly preturbed by this, but its just so hard to find a good game of mahjong.

The spectacle of the 6'1" blonde haired blue eyed 'foreign' young woman in the cage with Lee is already attracting plenty of attention even without Sally's prodding and bookies are soon quite busy. Of course it's currently like 20:1 odds favoring Lee.

In the cage Lee looks back at Heidi and laughs, "Honey, I never lose in bed." He still doesn't seem to be taking this seriously at all with a giant smirk on his face, "Tell you what just to be fair, how about I let /you/ have the first punch. My mother would weep if she knew I hit a girl first."

Sally Houki has posed:
Sally always assumed that repeat business was going to be an impossibility. She's too busy making the best of it, though. If only she could've brought an alternate or two. Ah, well. She definitely can get away when things go from bad to worse, no problem. In fact, she seems utterly, utterly unconcerned about the triads, like she has no idea of the danger that she's potentially in.

Clearly, she is confident that Kaminari and Heidi will protect her from that. Or, you know, she's just blithely unaware.

She bounces on the tips of her toes, clapping loudly. Also, getting ready to collect her winnings.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
"It is good to learn early that there is a first time for everything," Heidi states. "But is certainly very kind of you to offer your hospitality in this, your home... cage." She's not really sure if that was phrased well, but she moves on. "I also appreciate the fact that you are considerate of your mother's feelings. I am certain she will be proud you fought your hardest."

She moves her arm, loosening it up as she stretches it out in preparation for her punch. She takes her time, mostly because she's assessing the situation. It would be insulting to hold back entirely, she isn't there to mock him other than to return when he mocks first, and to put her full strength into a punch would certainly be dangerous unless he had the fortitude of an Asgardian. She settles in the middle. It seems safest. She could assess further punches from there.

"I certainly have been looking forward to a good fight. I have not had the opportunity to do much since I've been to--" She stops herself. "... this city. Please do me a favor and don't let me down." And, without further ado, she moves forward and proceeds to go for the punch. He might notice too late she's got good form.

Kaminari has posed:
See Lee, see Lee fly, fly Lee fly! And that is exactly what Lee does after taking Heidi's punch until the cage walls halt his flight with an impactful thud. "Ugh" He groans, to his credit Lee is not out yet but he clearly was not expecting that and likely did very little to mitigate it as a a result. His bells have been run but he remains on his feet.

Lee's smirk is gone as he steadies himself and begins to focus his chi taking on a stance similar to martial Tai Chi Chuan or Pa Kua. Directing all of his focus into his fist as his breathing becomes steadier again moment by moment he throws a punch that for a human is pretty damn fast an accurate.

Kaminari exhales a long stream of smoke where she's standing, followed by a sigh as she sees a number of the Triad enforcers begin touching their ear pieces as a conversation is clearly underway between them.

Sally Houki has posed:
And we're off!

Sally is cheering loudly. Obviously, she's rooting for Heidi, but it's probably not super apparent from the way she's just nebulously clapping and wooing.

She's edged closer to the bookies. Because, oh man, it's about to be a huge disaster.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi doesn't dodge. Mostly, it's because she wants to feel the strength of it. She's had little opportunity to really fight Midgardians and she wants a /real fight/. The blow hits, right on target, but she's making sure he's aware she's purposefully taking it. She doesn't move, he gains no ground, but she does feel it. There's certainly an impact and her brow furrows in potential pain? It's evident that she's strong... or that she's really, really good at masking pain. Both?

She doesn't give a snappy retort, instead favoring continued fighting. She punches again, her punch certainly using a bit more of the Asgardian speed to try and keep him from dodging it, and she turns up the strength just a notch. She's not trying to just beat him, she's trying to prolong the fight and see how he does. As she said, she wants a fight.

Kaminari has posed:
Now it is perhaps Lee's turn to surprise. The punch actually /hurts/. It is the strangest of unpleasant sensations because it feels like her flesh should have stopped the blow, like his strength isn't up to dealing with Asgardian durability, and yet something does penetrate. It feels like the vibrations of his fist are shaking Heidi's internal organs like jello. Now that he is taking her seriously it is evident that Lee is the champion of the cage for a reason and no ordinary Midgaardian. What's more it seems he is not only fast but has incredible reflexes not only able to match Heidi's slight increase in speed but avoid the blow entirely as he spins around abruptly dropping into a dragontail sweep kick aimed at taking her legs out from under her.

Kaminari would probably be cheering Heidi on, she does like to watch a good scrap, but is instead moving to intercept a pair of the Triad enforcers who have peeled themselves off the perimeter and are making their way purposefully towards both Kaminari and the cage.

Sally Houki has posed:
"Woooo!"

That the fight is less lopsided than she hoped does give her more time to do her work which is... just cheering at this point. What else is she gonna do? She's already accumulated a small amount of cash which she placed entirely on Heidi winning the fight because reasons.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
This is much more of a fight and Heidi looks pleased as punch. This isn't just a Midgardian. It's a challenger. She is, however, aware vaguely out of the corner of her eye that Kami's doing something. She won't stop the fight, though. After all, Kami sinks ships. She'll sink whatever comes her way. She /almost/ misses a small hop above the leg sweep because of her distraction, but her attention drops back to Lee.

"Thank you and sorry," she offers chipperly. The thank you is for the strong fight. The apology is because she's not holding back now. Mostly. The punch is much faster and /much/ harder. It's not full force (she'd rather not break him), but it is certainly stronger than she would use on the average Midgardian by quite a bit. She just has a feeling perhaps the fight should wrap up... just in case they're wearing out their welcome.

Kaminari has posed:
Lee spins in a circle when his leg is hopped over before shooting back his feet just in time to take a punch. He seems to have reached the upper limits of his speed, he may be a superhuman martial artist but he's not a god. He does however take the punch and seemingly shrug it off with a grunt of exertion as his abs tighten up to a point where 'rock hard' isn't just a euphemism. He's managing to hang in there for now but as Heidi's level of strength keeps rising he is starting to question how much longer he can keep this up. After shrugging off the punch through grit teeth he lunges out with a series rapid fire kicks aimed at the knee, stomach and temple from low to high.

"No I don't think there is a problem. They are just having a friendly fight." Kaminari tells the enforcers, "Me? What? I just happen to be good at Mahjong. It was only one round. Come on." They are distracted arguing for the time being.

Sally Houki has posed:
IS there trouble? SAlly has...

...no apparent idea. Of course, she's already waiting for her chance to collect her winnings, confident that her Asgardian friend will win the day!

....though she is starting to get his odd feeling of forboding.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi is certainly impressed. She would say she'd come back, but given the fact that there's a bit of trouble, it might not exactly be in the cards. Still, she's enjoying the fight, grinning the whole time, even when she takes the first blow. It hits and, given that it's at her knee, she wobbles just a bit, but she didn't try to dodge. The reason for that is quickly apparent.

When he goes for the stomach, her hands are fast and she goes to /grab/ his leg. The intent is to grab it and shove with all her strength. If he stumbles back, he'd hit the side of the cage, but if he doesn't make it that far it should knock him off his feet. Assuming, of course, he doesn't have a trick up his sleeve.

Kaminari has posed:
Lee is fast running out of tricks. Most human opponents never push him anywhere near trying, its hard to tell but even as the degree to which he is outclassed is growing he isn't giving into frustration, rather he almost seems to be enjoying the chance to push himself to the limit.

The second kick never lands with Lee being instead thrown back into the cage wall ...again. He doesn't seem ready to give up yet though, even if he is looking a bit dazed and takes a moment to try and clear his head.

Kaminari at this point has done something that is probably completely unexpected unless you are Kaminari anyway. She has pulled off her hat and wig revealing her long white hair, "Do you know who I am?! It is I Leizi! Goddess of Lightning, wife of Leigong! You should be kneeling!" she shouts at the Triad enforcers and now a whole lot of eyes really are on her. She is not Leizi, but she does look the part as far as anyone here knows, what is it with Storm Goddesses and white hair anyway?

Sally Houki has posed:
Sally pauses. Kaminari's display is hard to miss. It's enough to make her turn her eyes off the game. Wait, what? Okay, so that's... not good.

Well, it could be good. It could be bad, especially given that she and Heidi walked in with her.

"Ahahahaha," is her answer. She just starts laughing. What? It's funny!

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi can't make herself go in for another hit while he's dizzy. It's not mocking him, it's respecting the fight in her eyes, mostly because she's in it for the fight, not the win. "You are a worthy opponent. You could do much better than this place." She stays where she's at, simply waiting for him to push off the cage wall and come for her.

But then she notices Kami's kind of pulling a trick and she's not sure she trusts leaving Sally there (who knows what she'll do unsupervised!) so she turns back to Lee. "Many apologies but my friends need me and I /never/ let my friends down." She approaches Lee rapidly and goes for a strong blow, intending for it to hit and also knock him against the cage wall once again, to use it to her advantage.

Kaminari has posed:
Lee is just coming out of his dizzyness in time to get clocked hard and then all there is is blackness as he sinks to the floor. It was a truly valiant effort but there was never any way he was going to stand up to a serious Heidi.

The mood outside the ring had been slowly changing for awhile as it dawned on the people betting on Lee that they were actually going to lose money on a sure thing and the people who had taken the 20:1 longshot odds, possibly only Sally, were actually going to win.

Things begin to move faster though as more Triad enforcers begin to swarm the area. The ones around Kaminari do not kneel but they are certainly taken offguard and not sure what to do. Until the sound of a slow clapping can be heard and coming out from the VIP box is an elderly Chinese man with a long white beard walking with a cane. Hardly the image of an intimidating Triad boss, "And how is old Leigong? It's been awhile since I've had the pleasure." his eyes seem laser focused on Kaminari and yet one gets the sense that nothing in this space is escaping his notice.

Sally Houki has posed:
Sally, quietly, hands her tickets to the bookie.

That is all.

She has a smile on her face. "Thank you so much," she adds.

Oh, there's going to be *so* much rage from the crowd around her. She doesn't seem to care a whit right now, though.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
Heidi takes a moment to make sure Lee isn't in as much of a crumpled heap as he could be. She pats herself, finding a pocket for a moment. She fishes in it, pulling out a mostly crushed flower. She carefully places it in his hand before she moves to exit the cage.

"I think it is time to leave," she says loudly. "I think I heard someone trying to call the peace keepers!"

Kaminari has posed:
The bookie has a look on his face like 'is this for real?' when Sally attempts to get the payout from her wager.

The elderly gentleman thumps his cane on the ground with a louder resonating noise than it really should have made calling all attention in the room to him, "Pay the girl." he tells the bookie, "While I am not entirely sure it was fair and square she did win." His accent is British, perhaps he is from Hong Kong.

"And you miss?" His gaze falls on to Heidi now giving her an appraising look, "You are Asgardian are you not? Yes, those eyes, that hair, and that truly formidable strength. I will ask you to refrain from bullying my poor student."

And then it is Kaminari's turn, "And you are not Leizi, Miss Kaminari Goddess of Rock. Did you really think with that kind of profile you could really slip past? I have met the real Leizi and while it is almost uncanny how much you look alike your attitudes are nothing alike." He chastises her like a scolding grandpa.

"Now," he continues, "Once you have your winnings in hand I am going to have to ask all three of you to leave and never return again. Do I make myself clear?"

Sally Houki has posed:
Sally, having made her many, many thousands of dollars, is quite pleased with herself. She's polite enough not to count her winnings here, however, and casualy scoots towards the exit without having to be told multiple times.

Yep, outta the way. She's done and gone. SO GONE.

Heidi Ingerdottir has posed:
"Aye, I am Asgardian," Heidi seems inpressed at the man's knowledge. "Though you are wrong about bullying your student. Please inform him once he is better that he fought well and honorably and I greatly enjoyed myself. He is truly formidable and has plenty of potential." She offers her hand for a warrior's clasp, but then thinks better of it as she thinks somehow it would end up awkward.

She scoots out of the way, following Sally towards the exit. Yep, she's happy to be leaving.

Kaminari has posed:
Kaminari blows out a long stream of smoke, clearly annoyed her ruse has been seen through, before turning and walking towards the exit, "Yeah, I hear she's a fucking blast at parties. As wholesome as a sitcom house wife. Give my regards to the stuck up bitch." she holds up one hand like she's waving without actually turning back as she makes her way out.
