Cast of Characters: Alexander Aaron, Morrigan MacIntyre, Daisy Johnson, Jessica Drew

Alexander Aaron has posed:
The smoke on the airfield amongst the wreckage of several planes continues to slowly rise and whirl in thin oily tendrils reaching toward the heavens in the late evening. Few stars creep across the overcast sky, but the moon shines while hidden behind grey clouds so far above. It is, for once, quiet on that air strip. There are no sounds of the soiree that was once in full swing, none of the laughter or shrieks that came from the large compound that lies some ways to the North away from the airfield. Because all of the celebrants, all of the participants, all of the masters and the servants are brought together here on the airfield amongst the wreckage of several planes. And the only sound that comes from there are touches of tears and sobbing.
The people are split into two groups, there are the beautifully dressed masters who had worn the masks and took advantage of the others. The ones who ran this decadent celebration in the name of Hades. And then there are the others who had been abused by those masters who sit around a small copse of trees. Some of the abused are in varying states of undress, though they've been given jackets and clothes and emergency blankets as best to help them...
But the old money and celebrants who are guilty of such crimes... they sit on the concrete and wait whatever is to happen next.
It was there on that airstrip that their fate had been discussed. The boy with the sword and the dawnstar woman who wielded fire from her hands. Mercy was the verdict, and so that required the young man known as Alexander to make a call.
With the satellite phone in hand he crouched on the edge of those people. Sword in hand and digging point first into the asphalt of the runway, he frowns and keys the message to SHIELD, to let them know his position and his need. He hated to send it. For help.
"Go see if you can find some food?" The Olympian said quietly to one of the women who had been a waitress and now was free of servitude. She nodded and rushed off to the compound. At times one or two people would emerge and join the crowd of perhaps two hundred.
But upon reflection Alex frowned, looking down at the phone. Depending on what happened... those around him might suffer. And some people had been kind to him. So he took the moments, just a few small moments to tap out a message to his principal. And it said simply this:

// Ms. Macintyre. It's Alexander. I'm sorry for everything. You should perhaps destroy my records. Might be best for the school. -AA //

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan had looked at her phone when she'd gotten the text. It was confusing, but, then she'd remembered the talk that they'd had with Alexander and things. If he was reaching out to tell them to delete or destroy records then it was something serious.

And something that he might need help with.

The red head had gotten out of her chair and headed over to the large world map that she had bolted to the wall, "Where are you, Mister Aaron..." she murmurs as she lets her magic run over the map, thankfully there were not any students in at the moment. There's a neon violet swirl of energy that circles the spot where Alexander is lazily. "There you are...but why so far out?" she presses her lips into a thin line. Then she's opening a portal to see what exactly is going on with him.

Alexander might get the sense that something is coming. One moment there's no willowy redheaded principal, then there she is stepping out of a distorted portal of violet energy. "Mister Aaron..." she states as she steps out of the portal, then her eyes look around, "Well...I'm sure you'll explain things. I see that you are in need of assistance?" she looks to him expectantly. "Are you alright?" she asks in a softer tone. "Does anyone need medical attention?" she adds.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
Rising up from his crouch, Alexander's shirt is torn and his upper left side is bare with a spatter of blood across his clothes. His eyes go wide as he espies the arrival of his school principal and the first thing he says is simply, "Ms. MacIntyre?" Such complete surprise in his voice.
But then he shakes his head and shifts his grip on the red-bladed sword in his hand, reversing it so the length of the weapon lies against the back of his forearm. "I um, I don't think anyone needs immediate medical attention."
But then before he can speak further an old man with wide-brimmed glasses rises to his feet, dressed in a perfectly tailored suit and still with the remnants of a strange necklace around his neck. He holds his hands out, "Miss, please miss you have to save us, this boy... he's keeping us here against our will!"
And that seems to trigger the blond youth as he surges forward, "You sit down! Sit the fuck down!" The sword comes up to point, "Don't play innocent! You know what you've done!"
That does seem to cow the man, to get him to stagger and step back quickly, falling to his knees amongst the other so beautifully dressed people.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan raises her hands to show she's not a threat, or well...she is but she's not going to attack Alexander. "Yeah, probably shouldn't send texts like that to overly worried Principals. We tend to have secret ways of getting to our students." she muses to that. There's a glow of her eyes though when one of the men start to rise, fangs bared at them, "If I want to hear from any of you you'll know it!" she snaps.

Then she takes a breath and looks back to Alexander, "So I'm guessing this has to do with your Uncles?" she asks him.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
Turning back he looks to her and she can see it in his eyes. Those hazel eyes with the golden irises in the center. Can see the 'soldier' persona he holds and adopts when he is before authority that he recognizes, that precision and control. But for the first time...
She might see it fray with the glistening in his gaze. "Yes ma'am," He starts. He looks to the other people then turns and moves away, lowering his voice to speak further with Morrigan away from their eavesdropping and he tells her as best he can.
"This was a celebration my uncle created to insult my other." He looks towards the compound, then back as his brow furrows and he tries to maintain that control. That focus. "I was asked to investigate and pass judgment."
A pause as his lips part and his eyes seem to stare off. But then he knuckles down and grinds his teeth to say, "I arrived here, and I was treated as a guest. I saw the..." He looks to the side back to the compound, then back to the people there. To the people that are allowed to rest and heal. Some of them... are in horrible shape. Some of them are clothed in ways that are demeaning and crippling. Some of them are terribly abused.
"I saw the things they were doing. And made the decision to intervene." So much ground covered in those few words then he says, "I've called SHIELD."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's gaze goes to the well dressed folks for a moment and there's a bit of a look to them, like they possibly could be snacks, but there are children here. Luckily. She turns to Alexander and there's a soft frown as she listens, "This doesn't sound like something that could be ignored." she states as she looks to those that had been used in various ways.

"You did what you needed to do." she tells him as she looks back to him. "What can I help with? I know SHIELD is on the way, but I'm capable of a lot of help..." she trails off as the wind picks up and there's a moment she closes her eyes and takes a breath, "So much blood...and something else." she shakes her head.

Then her eyes find the curious creature that's tied up, "What is that?" she asks him as she points to the bat like creature.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
"One of their security force," Alexander's answer is short, his brows furrowing as he looks away toward the monstrosity that had dueled with Karla. The evidence of her laser blasts evident in the burning wreckage of the planes around and the exploded boats off at the docks, though not too obvious to the eye at night.
Tucking his sword up under his arm, he folds his arms across his chest and looks to it steadily, "They had two... mutants I believe working for them in case of... something like this happening." A look back and then he confides in her quietly, "I... I fought a lot of them. Their security. And..." He doesn't confess to it, but instead a small glisten of what would be tears shows up in his eyes as he laughs a little but ruefully so.
"I just... I messed this up for the school. I am." He laughs again a little not quite hysterical but that tone of where he just finds the whole thing so horrible that it goes out the other end.
"I spent all this time telling people to cool it and not do anything out there to draw attention and I do something like this. What a f... what a hypocrite."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's gaze is on the batman (sorry Bruce!) for the moment, listening to Alexander as he explains things. "Were they fighting of their own free will or were they being used like these others?" she asks the blonde haired young man. But her expression softens when she looks to him and there is a moment she wants to hug him and tell him things will be alright, but she also doesn't want to be stabbed. "You didn't mess anything up, Alexander." she tells him.

"You have a ton on your shoulders. Your Uncles were pulling you back and forth and it's unfair to you to have to bear this all on your own." she states. "And...do you honestly think this is going to make the news or the tabloids, I doubt it." she states to him in a quiet tone. "It's too close to graduation to expel you. And that would be too easy." she points out.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
Unfortunately no huggings as he does not dismiss the summoned blade from his hand, keeping it along the back of his right forearm held loose and ready. A series of short 'hehs' and exhalations, almost dismissive ffts as well as he shakes his head, then he says a single word of. "Fuck." But then he realizes he just swore in front of his principal and frowns. "Sorry."
"Just... I don't think so. I..." The youth looks away and to he crowd of people. There is such tension between the two groups and more than one person on the side of those who were oppressed are looking intently at the celebrants, likely with murder on their minds. And still the wreckage of the airplanes burn nearby. Then his brow furrows and his features harden.
"They weren't being manipulated a lot of them... were in this for the money." But does he know for sure? Possibly.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Eh, we aren't on school grounds and honestly dropping the 'f' bomb isn't so bad in a situation like this." Morrigan tells him with a bit of a chuckle. "It's a big mess, we'll get it sorted out and hopefully SHIELD can help with that." she explains to him.

"Let me go check over everyone and...I'm going to go and see if the bat creature is alright, I know he's an enemy, but sometimes we need to make sure they don't die on us. Just don't run off or anything." she tells the young man as she starts to head off.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
Some time passes as Morrigan moves away from the youth to circulate amongst the people, to see those who have suffered and to see those who inflicted it. She might have time enough to wander the grounds and take in the surrounding environs, to witness the landscape of the battle that was wrought in the ballroom as well as the facilities that were used to keep some of those who were enslaved.
But Alexander, he remains where he was, standing sentinel the whole while and waiting for the arrival of those that he called.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
With the call for help coming from Alexander Daisy had checked the coordinates on that message.. An island on international waters..? What exactly -was- going on there...

But the mention of multiple casualties had made her pick up on a team, a few field agents, medical personnel. And off they had went on a quinjet, on their way towards this island...

... And not being possessed of teleporting abilities (even if they have the next best thing in the form of a quinjet!), it takes them a time to arrive... But eventually the sounds of a large airplane is heard in the air, approaching...

Within Daisy is dressed in her uniform, looking over at the other agents there but focusing mainly on Drew. "Not sure what exactly we will be finding there so we should keep our eyes open.." as the quinjet begins to land on an open zone, not too far from where the people are gathered.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Spider powers notwithstanding, Jessica nods wryly, head tilted to the side as she sights down the chamber of the gun she is double-checking. No agent worth her salt would not have all their weapons and com equipment in constant tiptop condition. Pre-op nerves are working their way out through these little professional tics then. The agent shrugs at herself and goes through the motions anyway.

Both she and Quake are dressed in ops uniforms; she is armed with a formidable arsenal, earbud fixed in place.

"The man, well, the boy, is on our list, isn't he? One of the Greek pantheon, right?" There are moments when she still has trouble fixing her mind on their place in the world until she remembers Achilles.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
As the quinjet roars overhead they'll first likely notice the sickly oily tendrils of smoke rising from the shattered black lear jets that are neatly sliced in twain. The airstrip itself seems to be undamaged though there are perhaps two hundred people out there, seemingly organized in two groups. It's there that they'll likely see a lone figure standing between those two groups, holding a hand up and waving to them as they circle and come toward the descent for landing.
When the ship finally settles he'll cause the crimson-bladed sword in his hand disappear with a small flicker of light, leaving him standing there and frowning while his hair and the surroundings are awash with the faint breeze from the ship's exhaust.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Yes. He is. Part of the Happy Harbor experiment." Daisy informs Jessica while they are finally landing down on the ground. She is just putting in her communication device, ICER placed on the holster by her hip. "Phobos." she then adds. Or Fear for those in the know! "He is still coming to terms with who exactly he is." her tone firm, perhaps trying to put those pre-op nerves away. It always was a thing, even after a while at SHIELD.

"Lots of destruction out there though." She glancing out a window.. But then the quinjet is finally down on the ground and the descending door opens until it touches the ground.

"Lets roll. People know what to do. Assess the area, tend to any wounded." she then looking at Drew. "We should go talk with Alexander."

Jessica Drew has posed:
Out into the night filled with chemical laden smoke from the burning jets strewn across the field. Jessica listens, alert as a spider on the hunt. Selectively using her acute hearing she focuses on the group of half-dressed people sheltering under trees near the field. A frown starts to flatten her mouth as she listens to the fearful self-righteous muttering of a group of well-dressed people. She searches for their target through the silhouettes of figures, some walking with purpose and others listlessly.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
When the ship finally lands, they can see the two crowds of people down there. The one with the well-worn and haggard who are seated around the trees, and then the other with the well-dressed party-goers who are forced to huddle together on the tarmac. It's between them that Alexander stands, hands at his sides and his gaze flitting from SHIELD agent to SHIELD agent, taking the measure of each and then waiting until he espies a familiar face.
    Which would be agent Johnson.
"Ma'am," The youth addresses her and spares a look for Jessica before his attention returns to the other SHIELD agent. He gestures with one hand to one crowd and murmurs, "Those are the people who should be taken into custody." Then the same hand unfolds to the people who are being tended to, the injured and the shell-shocked. "Those are the people that need help."
His brow furrows as he starts to say something else but is interrupted.
"This is unacceptable!" A voice shouts, cultured, British. "You're Fury's people!? I demand to be returned to my holdings at once! You have no jurisdiction to hold me!" The tall Englishman starts to advance out of the crowd, glowering.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Approaching, Daisy takes in the surroundings.. She doesn't particularly have any type of enhanced senses to the exception of her vibrational capacity, eyes squinting as she takes in the various people huddled together, then the young man nearby. "Evening.." she greets the young man. "This is Agent Drew." she says in ways of introduction. "Can you tell us what happened here?"

A gesture is made towards the medical personnel. They aren't the types to be choosers, nor does Daisy differentiate. "Check for any wounded."

Her eyes set on the englishman. "Do you wish to swim back to your home? Because as I can see it right now we are your only ticket out of here." a faint smile, then a glance to the young man again.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Moonlight highlights the frown that settles more firmly on Jessica at the cultured whine behind the commanding voice demanding to be repatriated. She lifts her chin, all to familiar with the self-entitlement that she hears. Nodding in return to the young man, she watches him through veiled lids unsure of his place in the scene of destruction around them.

Agent Johnson's question carves a smile out of the stone face she had turned on the English man. She evens her stance, still on the alert, waiting for Aaron's explanation.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
The Englishman sputters and seems about to protest when another agent secures him and puts him back in his place.
To Jessica, Alexander meets her eyes and then nods once, formally. Neither of them have likely ever seen him adopt his soldier persona, that calm control he uses for when speaking with authority he recognizes. Perhaps Daisy saw a little of it that one time they first spoke. But now he has pulled himself together, has brought his focus to the here and now as he says quietly.
"Conflict between Hades and Dionysus. I was in between them as a neutral party. Asked to investigate. I investigated and was given an invitation to this festival. The festival was an excuse to indulge in..."
His words falter slightly, but then gritting his teeth he continues. "To indulge in reprehensible activities. I lost my temper and engaged their security elements. After they were neutralized I moved to secure the perpetrators and free the people as I could. Secured them here. Called you."
Then there's a beat as he lowers his eyes and murmurs quietly. "And my principal."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Doctor Morrigan MacIntyre was off checking a few things out. She'd never been to Belize, but, perfect time to poke at the local Flora and Fauna...and batman like creatures! The willowy redhead was giving the SHIELD people a few to get on the ground as she'd gotten here just after the text Alexander sent. She's dressed in her work clothes skill, so she sticks out. "Well, he texted his principal." she points out with an amused chuckle. "Agent Johnson." she dips her head to the woman in charge. Then there's a nod of greeting to Jessica, "Ma'am." she states respectfully.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
When there is mention of a conflict between Hades and Dionysus Daisy looks up at the sky briefly, gritting her teeth. She is starting to dislike Gods! A glance then back at the separate people. "And the reason for this separation? Those were the people that were freed up?" she gestures towards the servants, watching them for a few moments.

A couple of agents begin moving up the area, going in to check for those bodies, or wounded, once they hear mention of security elements having been neutralized.

At Morrigan's approach she lifts an eyebrow. "Got here fast, mmm?" she dipping her head at the Happy Harbor principal. "Hello, Ms. MacIntyre.. Can you help us in clarifying the situation?" her expression having taken a turn to the worried.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Jessica returns the nod to MacIntyre with equal gravity leavened by a brief smile which broadens at the mention of the boy god alerting the principal of his school. Agent Johnson's grimace at the doings of the gods merits a raised eyebrow and another scrutiny of Alex. Surface appearances really belie the complexity of the situation.

"I'm not sure I understand who sent Aaron in? Someone has a powerful amount of weapons or powers at their disposal, too." She spreads her hands to gesture at the smoking wreaks around them. "This was a sort of Bacchanal?" The last question directed at Aaron.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
Taking a breath, Alexander looks askance towards Morrigan, but then turns his attention back upon Jessica and Daisy, looking between them as he speaks and explains. "Those were the people that were... servants, and slaves." He nods in the direction of the other group of people, meeting the eyes of that British man and frowning.
"Those were the owners, the revelers, they wore masks and are guilty of murder. And worse."
"I um," His brow knits and he says quietly, "I don't think... I don't know what we can do about them." The way the youth looks at those that partook of the revels here, the way his eyes burn as he considers them. It's clear he was pushed, and perhaps made a hard choice concerning those party-goers.
But then when Jessica offers her question he says quietly, "Yes, ma'am. Dionysus was... claiming it was done to honor Hades. Hades took exception to this as the rites that were performed here were... unpleasant even in his eyes."
There's a beat as he seems to look off distantly and then he looks toward Morrigan and Daisy, since they are both authority figures to him and he says quietly. "I do not think I should be around them for too long. I am not sure if my judgment can be trusted." The them he speaks of are emphasized when he looks back to that British man who is currently trying to dress down one of the SHIELD agents.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"I was concerned enough to open a portal and see what was up once I located him on a map, yes." Morrigan nods to Daisy at that. "Figured if he was asking for certain things that he was in some sh...stuff." she gives the young man a look. Then back to Daisy and Jessica, "Apologies, I'm Doctor Morrigan MacIntyre." she offers to Jessica.

"As for the situation, I was not here for it. I received a text from Mister Aaron and as his principal I decided to...come and make sure he was alright." she admits. "And well, this is what I found." she motions with a pale hand. "The batlike mutant is still unconscious, but has no fatal wounds." she adds. Then she quiets to listen to Alexander's answer to the questions.

"There was definite cannibalism, so, I'm guessing that it might be a reason for some of the swift action." she sniffs at the air a bit then quiets again as she stares off at the group of celebrants with a bit of malice in her gaze.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Batlike mutant..?" Daisy glances about the area, then back to Morrigan, offering a nod. Though the mention of cannibalism brings a deep frown out of Daisy.. She eyes the celebrants again, an hardened look on her expression before she exhales slowly. "You should had spoken with someone before coming here. But right now it's too late." she says. "This is indeed international waters, but with the crimes being as you say, well.."

She nods towards both groups. "We will need to bring these people in for questioning, and you as well, Alexander." she mentions. But then follows up on Jessica's question.

"Yes, was it you destroying all this?"

Jessica Drew has posed:
Cannabalism, slavery, trafficking, perhaps illegal arm usage, ownership and trafficking - the list of international crimes starts to add up to a staggering disregard for freedoms and individual rights. The words batlike mutant, mutants being a definite center of interest of Jessica's shifts her weight forward onto the balls of her feet, ready to launch though her target is not confirmed yet.

Muttering to Daisy, "Cannibals. Eating the hearts of their prey?"

Turning her blue dispassionate eyes on Aaron, she waits for an answer to the source of the destruction.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
Alexander's eyes distance as his jaw tightens a little and he looks somewhere between the three of them. He swallows and murmurs quietly, "I am responsible for all of this, yes." But then after he says that he turns his gaze upon Daisy almost defiantly as he looks at her, then takes a deep breath and nods as if to reaffirm his stance.
But then he shifts topics and says quietly, "I'll come quietly and submit to interrogation." He doesn't lift his hands up to surrender but he does hold them out slightly and to the side, making sure they're visible as needs be.
When Jess asks about the act of cannibalism she can see how it troubles him. The way his eyes lower and his brow furrows as he worries at his lower lip then he looks up at her with tightly controlled features as he murmurs, "There were two... places of honor. That were pieces of meat in small servings to be shared. They had two toys that belonged to the children who were... sacrificed for this."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan is quiet after things, letting the SHIELD agents handle most things given she was just a concerned principal at this point. "He seems to be one of two that were guards for this group. I am not sure if the other mutant is alive." she looks to Alexander. But she stiffens a bit when child sacrifices come up and Morrigan looks back to the group of celebrants with a deep frown. Then back to the others, "I can stay and help with things or I can head back state side. If I'm not needed in the middle of things I completely understand." she tells Daisy.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Very well." Daisy says when Alexander offers to come and submit to interrogation. Yet by her tone it's not as if she would had accepted any other answer. Because SHIELD Agent Johnson doesn't play nice where it comes to crimes of this nature. The mentions of cannibalism, then the description on -what- they were doing makes her flex her hands, closing her eyes and just the tiniest flickers of a tremor in the area felt. Perhaps to those with more attuned senses...

"Please do, Doctor. We could use all the help we need. I'd also like to talk with you later, but not here." this said towards Morrigan, a nod given in her direction. It's not as if it would be hard to meet up back in Happy Harbor anyway!

And then it's time to start doing all that rather 'boring' job which is to gather up people, lining them up. Cuffs... Then going over the island to sweep up for evidence on what went on. It would certainly be a busy time for the Agents assigned here.

Alexander Aaron has posed:
Alexander lowers his eyes for a moment and then says, "The other was a fire-wielder, he did not survive." That said he straightens up and then turns his gaze from face to face to face. A deep breath is taken as he says quietly, "I would like to go somewhere and sit down, please."
And with that the young Olympian is led away.
