Epicenter: Part 2 - Tracing the Tremors
Date of Scene: 17 May 2020
Location: Rufio's Gym, New York City
Synopsis: SHIELD takes out a nest of neo nazi scum, then meet a new old face.. hail hydra.
Cast of Characters: Bobbi Morse, Daisy Johnson, Clint Barton, Jessica Drew, Jemma Simmons, Lara Croft, Jane Foster

Bobbi Morse has posed:
It started with an ambush. Some alt-right neo nazis managed to lure Quake in to an alley. Using a strange new piece of technology they were able to copy her quaking abilities. Between Quake and Bobbi they managed to defeat them, arrest them. The neo-nazi who copied their powers, Gunter Klein, died in custody of a heart attack. The device in question was combined with a serum that gifted the regular human with Inhuman abilities for the four days before his heart gave out.

A few days later a bank in New Jersey was robbed for $4 million. By this stage SHIELD had come up with a protocol for detecting micro tremors that could indicate Quake-like abilities in use. They tracked a set of these tremors to a warehouse where they encountered Heidi Klein and several cohorts. With Daredevil, the SHIELD team was able to subdue Heidi Klein and associates. They are in custody, but Heidi is also showing signs of heart failure.

In the meantime, Quake and Foster with a team of hackers managed to identify an online alt-right chat group called "Give me Liberty, Give me Fuhrer" - it's a deep circle group for true believers in their cause. The whole group went quiet the day the Nazi constructs attacked New York City. At first, it was all aliases but with clever detective work SHIELD has pieced together a dossier of people involved in the group:

Hector Bridges, the head of the group
Anna Williams, second in command of the group
Kevin Fogle, the redpill recruiter of the group
Heidi and Gunter Klein, in custody and deceased
Daniel Greenbay, a genuine psychopath known to have been courted by HYDRA before they decided he was too volatile
Ted Hart, a true believer
Peter Galaxy, conspiracy theorist
Nathan Whittaker, disillusioned ex-military
Winston Little, identifies as an incel
Cassandra Snaps, electrical engineer
Jacob Hornsby, manager of Rufio's Gym

There may be other members which haven't yet been identified. But Rufio's Gym has been putting out micro tremors indicating that at least some activity is taking place there. The team is now en-route by Quinjet to storm the building. If they're lucky, may be they can stop this group before they do something really bad.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
It was finally time to get to the bottom of this. Whoever these were they were in for a reckoning, at least in Daisy's optic. She was angry, and rightfully so! Shooting at her, stealing powers. Attempted murder. And let's not forget all the Nazi crap... Good thing she had turned to meditating as of late, so all she did was pace around the Quinjet instead of being all grumbly and complaining about taking too long getting there..

Uniform was on, fingerless gloves as well, her eyes going over the rest of the assembled crew. And then finally the questions. "How do we want to do this? Up through the roof? Ground assault?"

She having finally come to a stop and resting her shoulder against one of the big bird's sides, arms folded by her waist.

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint looks over the map of the gym and the list of not-so-loveable losers making up the membership list of this cell. "Neo-Nazis, conspiracy theorists and incels oh my," he remarks in a riff on the song from the Wizard of Oz.

He glances up and over at Daisy. "Mixed assault I think given the building, some go in up top, the rest surround the building on the ground so if these guys try to rabbit we've got them." He looks to the rest of the team to get their take.

Jessica Drew has posed:
The subtle vibrations of the plane engines work their way up Jessica's spine like a caffeine jag. Pre-op nerves that she habitually works off by unnecessarily going through all her gear - a handgun, a belt pack of tricks of the trade. She snaps the wrist guard since gloves hinder her 'venom blasts.'

Daisy's question snaps Jessica out of her obsessive checks into the now, "I'd see us going into all exits at once to block their escape." Nodding to Clint, "What he said."

Jemma Simmons has posed:
There will be no remote observation for one Jemma Simmons for this excursion. This time, she was going in, regardless. And so, the scientist was definitely not dressed for research today. This time, she was in the standard black tactical gear for SHIELD, with an ICER at her hip.

But, it isn't like Jemma to not be prepared...and this time, she has what is becoming a standard for her....a small black backpack, toting some small little surprises, just in case. Including a medical kit. After all, Jemma has taken her role as battle cleric to heart. With the heart failures she has been seeing, Jemma wants to be ready for anything medically related.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara isn't commonly on missions like this, being that she has no military background. But she does have experience in fighting, surviving against otherwise outnumbered odds and well... Nazis have a tendancy of dabbling in the occult, whether these neo-Nazis are the real-deal or just born out of a world of too much inter-connectivity through the internet and what dark web resources it offers. It's entirely possible WAND may need to help - or simply be involved - if this little cell gets 'weird'.

Dressed in mostly black tactical gear, Lara is adjusting the vhest over her torso and listening to the others unfold their plan. "I can provide cover from outside, if you all would like a shooter in the sky." She has firearms experience, which most would know about, as well as archery experience even if she's not quite on Clint's level in that regard.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi has a stern look on her face. Missions like this can get real messy real fast. They have backup coming by vehicle but the quinjet is here now. Optics are deployed as the jet, cloaked, makes a sweep past the building and surrounds. Up on the screens come thermal images. These old buildings aren't the best insulators which is perfect for policing action.

"Agent Croft you clear out that cafe, evacuate the kitchen staff and enter through that side door at the same time we will have Agent Simmons will clear out that MMA gym with me. We will enter via the managers office. Ideally, he'll be in there and easily subdued. Agent Barton you will enter from the roof quietly, that third and second story overlooks that warehouse, we want to secure the high ground. Agents Drew, Foster, and Johnson will breach through the garage doors at the back. We time this right they won't know what hit them," instructs Bobbi.

The thermal shows two people on the top floor as well as some heat from a machine; two people on the first floor; three people in the gym; several people in the cafe; and at least 6 people in the warehouse itself. There is also a strong heat signature on the first floor that is unexplained.

Bobbi is dressed in full black tactical gear with her Mockingbird customizations. She has ICER on one hip, regular ammo on the other and staves on her back. "Any alterations to the plan, now is the time to discuss. Also, it's entirely possible they have copied more than just Quake's powers. They may have copied Daredevil.. and since they acquired this technology, where-ever they got it from, they may have copied others too. So, be on your guard we don't really know what we're walking in to. The element of surprise is key."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"It's like they mixed up all the bad shit together, shaked it and voila..." Daisy says at Clint's 'song', letting out a sigh. She nods as people bring up their take on how to approach it, she finishing to check out the straps on her tactical gear while glancing over the maps and the intel given by the thermal imaging. "Are we to expect any kind of innocents in there? They took a few hostages last time." she says, not hiding the growing frown on her expression.

Then a nod towards Bobbi. "Hopefully they don't have a lot of those weapons. We have also discovered that if those weapons get taken off their hands they lose access to the powers. So they should be a priority." she says in ways of advisement to the rest of the gathered gang. "They are easily recognizable." she gesturing towards a picture up on screen with the image of one.

Then at last a thumbs up as positions are assigned. She nods. "I am ready."

Clint Barton has posed:
Looks like Clint's headed to the roof. "No objections, Bobbi, I can cover from on high," he reports getting his bow down from the weapons rack and extending it's arms with a flick of his wrist. Once it's extended he nods to Daisy. "Right?" before he looks over to Lara. "Feel free to help yourself to my kit if you want to go old school for ranged weapons today." After all Lara was about the only other agent who used bows like he did.

Armed up, he moves over to the doors of the quinjet, ready to deploy.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Good to know about them losing their powers if they lose grip on their weapons. I'd have the bloody things grafted to my hand if I was them."

Jessica catches Daisy's and Jane's eyes, "We will make anyone in that garage that fights back very unhappy. What do those doors look like? Do they open on a code?"

Jemma Simmons has posed:
There is a short nod given to Bobbi as Jemma listens to the game plan. She, of course, does have her standard firearm as well...but it is apparent she prefers her non-lethal methods. Still, the pistol on her opposite side is checked to make sure it is in good working order.

And...then a hand delves into the backpack. And...the first thing that is pulled out are a familiar pair of glasses. Looking like nothing more than standard ballistics safety glasses, Jemma also extracts the tablet paired with the glasses...and codes the commands in for the IR mode. The tablet returns to the bag, as the glasses are donned. A quick peek reveals that there might be a couple more odds and ends in there for surprises, but Jemma doesn't come out to say anything in particular.

Instead, she just repeats what Mockingbird stated. "Entering via the manager's office. Got it."

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara's eyes go up to Bobbi then and she nods softly to the orders laid unto her. "Right. Got it." The Briton replies before her gaze then sweeps over to Clint and at his offer of his wide array of arrows is given she gives him a soft smile. "Thank you, Agent Barton. I just might do that." She's seen his arsenal before, seen some of it in the weapons testing area, it's... extensive and makes her rope and fire arrows look more than a little mundane!

To Bobbi again, Lara asks. "Do we expect anyone in the cafe to be... a threat?" She asks then. "Are they associated with these individuals in any known capacity?" Croft asks, her eyes glancing then over the others present. She's had some siege training since joining SHIELD's ranks, but of course there's always more to learn and ways to be better prepared.

Jane Foster has posed:
"Galaxy? That one's almost mine as a target by default." The astrophysicist present probably would take a bit of offense to that. Calling shotgun as a general non-combatant, probably unreasonable. Fortunately she is dressed for going into the field, same as Jemma. No splints, no bandages, except for a supplement to their battle cleric. Nothing like having a little multiclassing for levels in stargazing scientist, right? Her ICER sits in ready use, the rest of her in darkness and shadow, as her natural forte. She checks over her boots one last time, ensuring they are properly laced up before they boil out of the Quinjet.

Travel by Quinjet -is- pretty freaking awesome, but she isn't going to say that. Instead she gives the thermal projection her full attention, counting off locations. The cafe gets an arched eyebrow. "Civilians?" she asks, nodding to them. Something to keep in mind being almost civilian herself. Her hair is pulled back from her face, no hope in hiding that much, and a little of the stress from being keyed up goes. "I've got it. Sticking with you two, Drew and Johnson. Let me deal with any downed people. I can stabilize them as we sweep through and keep them out of your way." Which also means keeping herself out of the way.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
"Quake can override the garage door code. It's big, it'll be loud. You three breach the garage door when the rest of us are in position.. or if things go south. Yes, disarm them if we can, if they're trying to use stolen powers on us - that is what this mission is partly about. They only got on our radar because of their assault on Quake. As for prisoners in there, unknown. We'll have to play that by ear. As for the cafe.. patrons? unlikely, staff? ..unknown." She frowns a touch, unknowns are never appreciated in missions like this. "You might have to pick that side doors lock Agent Croft."

Bobbi looks to the agents who haven't done much field work like this, "Just a reminder.. sparring is not the way we fight in the field. If someone is threatening you or through interference stopping you from aiding your fellow agent -- aim for joints, be quick and efficient. Bodies can mend."

The quinjet circles back around and the back door opens up. "Okay Agents, this is it. Deploy and check in when in position," Bobbi says and connects to a descent line and jumps out, riding the line down to the roof top, then jumps off the side and down it to get to the ground, near the front where she's to enter with Simmons.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
Reaching up to her ear Daisy taptaps on her comm device, testing it for sound. "Got it, I will wait for the signal to breach through the garage doors." a solemn nod. Now that they are getting closer to the deployment time her expression closes in, more focused. Yes, she always got that nervous jibe that she did in every mission. But someone wise had told her if she ever lost that little hint of nervousness it was about time to retire. Good thing.

She finishes stacking up her hacking tools on a side pocket of her vest, rolling shoulders, then flexing hands. She lets out a deep breath, a nod to Jane and Jess. "We got this. Time to roll." just the briefest of grins to them, then to the rest of the assembled team, looking over each face. "Good luck everyone."

She follows along to zip down the line and begin to move off towards the side where the garage doors are. She keeps up to the shadows, if any are available, attempting to stay out of sight, waiting for the signal to go in and begin the hacking. "Quake in position." she speaks quietly to the comms.

Clint Barton has posed:
"Any time, Lara," Clint says with a grin as he lets the other agent raid his personal toybox. The loadout for arrows steers away from explosive and aims more for the incapacitating type along with some classic broadheads for utility work.

Loaded up in the same fashion, Clint nods to Bobbi's final instructions, "Roger that boss," he says, before the doors open and he zip lines down to the roof gets to work getting his entry point open, so he can sweep in and get to his position as soon as the go order is given.

Jessica Drew has posed:
With a metallic snick, Jessica snaps herself onto the zip line then leans against the cable to test its integrity. Satisfied, she gives a thumb's up and a brief bright grin to both Daisy and Jane. One finger to her earbud, "All green here. Check.

Both hands on the line overhead, she steps out into space to hurtle down towards the garage.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
Bodies can mend. Somehow, that comment seemed to be directed to the resident self-appointed healer of the group. And...Jemma actually chuckles softly. "Right." Standing up to get herself ready for the descent, she offers a smile and a nod to Jane and Daisy both before she hooks up to the line, swallows hard, then jumps off.

And, fortunately for Jemma, she doesn't embarrass herself with the descent. The research scientist/field agent actually holds her own, sliding down to join Bobbi in short order. Detaching from the line, a hand reaches up to tap the upper left-hand corner of the safety glasses, kicking on the special features.

Namely, infrared vision. It worked so well with the last encounter with the third-reich wannabes. Why mess with a good thing?

A quick nod is given to Bobbi, indicating that Jemma is up and operational. A hand slides to the ICER, at the ready.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara gives a simple nod to Bobbi's response. "Understood." She says softly before she feels the jet start to bank and come about. Using the hand-holds along the top of the Jet's interior, Lara reaches where Clint has his 'toybox' and as the air vehicle pulls in to position she takes up one of the quivers and does a look-over of it. A smirk rolls across her lips before she slings the quiver on next to her own and turns to follow the others toward the zip-line at the aft of the plane.

The zip-line ride is that wonderfully exciting level of adrenaline that Lara generally craves, and upon landing she detaches her connection clip and starts toward the back of the building where the garage door will lead in to the side door. She lowers her left hand down to the pocket that she has her lockpick gear slipped inside of, her other stays close to her gun on her thigh... for now, best to be draw-ready, after all. She waits for the Garage to get breeched, listening to the comms and watching the others that are still in visual range.

Jane Foster has posed:
Jane needs little preparation beyond what's already gone forward. A proper tactical suit with protective gear, her ICER at her side and a good pair of gloves to protect her hands in case she needs to swing a punch at something. Hopefully she won't have to earn her brown belt in practice on the field rather than in the dojo, but it helps. Other elements are straightforward, her gear in her bag limited mostly to her own seismograph tapped into her phone that produces soft pulses against her skin for the pocket it's stitched into. Simple, but effective.

It's quick and effective how she moves, getting her hands on the line and there they go. No screaming. She isn't going to do that. No fear, either. Time to follow, zipping through at speed, and landing on her feet. The steady feeling of the world skimming by is exhilarating, and maybe her eyes twinkle too brightly by the time she lands. Quick, moving, getting to cover.

Earbud in, she starts to follow behind Jessica and Daisy, using the pair of them as a screen to triangulate off of. A little more behind Jessica than Daisy, giving the latter a broader range of movement. "Stargazer is ready to go."

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi taps her comms, "We are a go." Bobbi draws her ICER and rounds the corner through the doors in to Rufio's Gym. Inside there is a sign in counter, cash register and a bunch of mats and mirrors. Three people are training on the mats at the moment: Sonya Tandy, Keith Grover, and Gavin Hearthford. Sonya looks to see what looks like swat suddenly entering the building, her eyes bulge and she quickly walks toward the exit.. the other two however get a look in their eyes and stand between Simmons and Bobbi - and the managers door, taking up fighting poses.

On the 2nd floor Nathan Whittaker, wearing armored bracers slowly injecting him with the new version of the serum, pauses in his patrol. He clutches his machine gun tighter as he tilts his head. He shuts his eyes, not used to these enhanced senses.. was that noise on the roof? .. he walks to the staircase leading to the roof and opens the door to see if there really is something going on up there.

Bobbi stares at the two men and says to Simmons, "You have got to be kidding me. SHIELD, come on guys, I'm holding a gun, scram or get shot. This is your one and only warning. Agent Simmons clear the bathrooms." They don't move.. zapzap.. the two men double over and drop to the ground. "Unbelievable.. seriously." Bobbi waits to make sure the bathrooms are clear, then taps her comms, "Mockingbird and Battle Cleric in position, GYM frontage secure."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
With the signal to go it's time to get those hands dirty with some ol' school hacking. "Moving in." She moves in towards the garage doors, quickly disassembling the plastic around the keypad and then 'jacks' herself in, working on her tablet and searching for the codes. Eventually it does pop up and she glances over her shoulder to Jessica and Jane. "Opening doors now. Be ready." she taps on her tablet and there begins the sound of those garage doors opening up. Yes, not exactly a very discreet sound..

"Garage doors opening up. Ready to breach." she sets herself near the corner of the garage doors, waiting, eyes squinting.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Clint now alone on the roof is about to pick open that roof top door when suddenly it opens. There's a moment of shared surprised between the two. Firstly for Nathan Whittaker who wasn't quite expecting his new super powers to actually work, but also for Clint as he wasn't briefed on anyone wearing Quake-like gauntlets. "Why thank you," Client quips and springs in to action - in theory, Nathan has superhuman reflexes but Hawkeye is a professional. He pulls him on to the roof and restrains his firing hand while choking the man out. They lay together for a brief moment in the sunshine until Nathan's body finally goes limp. Clint taps his comms, "Hawkeye in position."

Jessica Drew has posed:
Feet barely on the ground and Jessica is jacked in for the trio's breaking and entering. The rumble of the doors has got to come as a surprise to anyone and ample reason to go on the alert.

Jessica braces and takes a few running steps before releasing from the line, moving quickly to the side to clear it for Jane who is following. Standing next to the opening door, gun at the ready, Drew sights in an one-eighty arc to cover them while they wait for the doors to rise enough for the three of them to enter. She plans to roll under it and come up ready to fire at anyone silly to face off with them.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
There might have been a moment in which Jemma was ready to shoot, with that ICER in her hand, but then Bobbi does what Bobbi does best....and starts to mock the two men. And....it doesn't take much for her to go into action herself as Bobbi orders her to check the bathrooms. The thermal imaging provided by Jemma's glasses already betrays the fact that there are no heat signatures...but that doesn't stop Jemma from doing a visual check personally. First the women's....then the men's....and nothing to be found.

As Jemma steps out to rejoin Bobbi, shaking her head slightly at the callsign designation she was just given, those eyes, enhanced by tech, scan the room....or, more precisely, the rooms. And...there are things to be seen, for sure. The other Briton speaks, her soft accent clearly heard in the SHIELD comms. "Target in the manager's office. several more heat signatures in what appears to be the warehouse beyond. Also, heat signature in the east corner of the first floor above Mockingbird and I. Be on your guard."

See? It pays to bring the toys out once in a while.

Lara Croft has posed:
Being pressed up against the side of a dumpster behind a cafe is not precisely where Lara Croft expected to be in her life at this stage, but all in all she's been in worse places. Probably. Maybe. It's debatable.

In the now though, she's not focusing on the smell coming from the dumpster, no, not at all. She's focusing on her team getting that garage door open. And when she hears that it's on the way up over the comms she peers around said dumpster and starts to raise up to her full height again. "Moving in." Lara says quietly, calmly over the comms as she starts toward the side that she saw on the map which should immediately turn to face the door to the kitchen.

This is wear the tactical-clad archaeologist is going now, headed for that kitchen doorway to test and see if it's unlocked, if it IS, she'll sweep on inside much to the surprise of whomever is within, if it isn't unlocked well... her fingers are tickling the lockpick kit at her side.

Jane Foster has posed:
Jessica demonstrates how a professional does it. One day, they're going to have a mission involving alignment of a lot of mirrors and a satellite, and then it will be Jane's horrific gobs of useful knowledge about tracking such transitory projectiles or creating death rays to point at the Moon that will prove most useful. Today, she watches and learns an expert in the field going about her impressive business. And it is impressive. A mouthed "ooh" or "wow" might be the closest she gets to sharing her feelings, but the scientific agent takes a quick dash through the door and gets low, hand on her ICER as she pulls it free.

Now is not the time to fumble around for a weapon and come up with a stapler or an empty sheath because it fell to the ground ten paces back. The doors make a hell of a lot of noise and it stands to reason to give some distance from Jessica, in case she needs to pop up. But she isn't going to just run up there, oh no. She instead looks at the ground for shadows, signs of movement thrown by ugly incandescent lighting. You know, the sort of thing that a tactical scientist not out to be shot will do.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
The garage door is loud, and slow. The occupants are surprised to see what looks like swat coming in, but they are also preparing for the secret war, to fight for their beliefs. They were brought together from the virtual chat rooms to the real world for exactly this purpose. In the warehouse Winston Little is standing closest to the garage door. Drew had a plan, roll under it and come up ready to fire at anyone silly enough to face off with them - and so it happens in the blink of an eye. Winston wasn't entirely prepare for it other, but from his armor gauntlet'd arms shoots out lightning striking Drew directly in the chest. "Woo! Hooooly shit. Did you see that?!," he shouts loudly over the garage door and the echoing of the electricity.

The other occupants move in to action: Peter Galaxy takes cover behind a crate and activates his gaunlets giving him an injection from the Daredevil version of the serum; Ted Hart flips over a table and gets behind it, starting to build up a tremor; Daniel Greenbay squeezes his hands together taking his first dose from the gauntlets on both his arms, the injections pumping the serum in to his blood stream giving him super strength; Anna Williams starts fiddling with the door to the cafe next door but turns to face off against Lara, she points her gauntleted arms at Lara and uses her quake powers to try and blast her back.

Meanwhile, upstairs, Clint sneaks in. The first room on his right Clint sees Cassandra Snaps. Lots of parts for gaunlets laid out on tables that have been 3d printed. She is working hard to make more of the weapons and doesn't hear him enter. He chokes her out easily too, being stealthy as he is, then checks the next room on the right, "Hey guys, there's a whole room full of explosives here." Finally, he takes up his overwatch position.

Bobbi glances up where Daisy mentioned the heat signature and whispers to her, "Once we get in the warehouse, head to the 1st floor - find out what the heck that is." She kicks in the door and goes to shoot the Gym manager Jacob Hornsbie but he is ready with two fists pointed at the door.. Bobbi goes flying back and crashes in to a mirror on the far wall.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Sure did, bud." Is what Daisy states back to Mr. Little, in a rather unfriendly manner one might add. Her arm is already up, hand open and pointed in his direction as she builds up her concentration.

It doesn't take her too long and electricity -is- dangerous so she unleashes shortly after to send the man flying. He can't see his house from here, but he can certainly see the wall that he comes into contact with, hitting head-first into it. Enough to kill? Most probably not. But enough to take them out of the fight.

"These guys have upgraded to gauntlets now. At least one with electricity powers now done." she announces over comms, moving to find some cover as well behind a crate.

Jessica Drew has posed:
So much for heroics and the best-laid plans. Jessica wasn't ready for someone to be waiting with open arms or, in this case, gauntlets that mimic some of her powers.

Her gun clatters to the floor as she gurgles, clutching her chest, "Fuck." Staggering against a parked van, she takes a few stumbling steps still bent over, arms crossed protectively. Accidentally discharging some of the electrical energy she received against a metal table she stumbles into, she gurgles another expletive. Eyes narrowed, she straightens, visibly shaking off the strike, raises both of her hands as though about to give an exaggerated hallelujah and stops.

Daisy has blasted him into a wall. He's down and out. Reaching for her dropped gun, she circles a parked van moving towards the back of the garage.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
The benefit of having as close to super vision as science allows gives Jemma an edge, however slight, in terms of these sort of invasion scenarios. And...the fact that Jemma saw those arms raise just before the door was kicked in? That gives Jemma the extra time she needed to roll to one side, using the wall the door was previously residing in as protection as Bobbi draws the fire (and ire) of the super-powered Nazi within.

It is apparent that Hornsbie isn't exactly military precise...as he tracks Bobbi with his fists, leaving Jemma with a small chance at an ICER shot. Which, she certainly goes for. No one takes pot shots at her friends while Jemma is around.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara is coming around the corner of the garage with all these grand intentions of just waltzing in to the kitchen! Little does the Raider realize there's another there who's spotted her. They share eye contact, and a sudden realization of what the intentions of either one holds and this is when they move. Lara tries to get back out of range and back around the corner just as the woman fires the kinetic blast at her! It clips her shoulder as she retreats around the corner and sends her in a spiral that lands her on her knees with a thud, spinning around to face the open garage door while the Quake-wave spreads on out further past where she'd been a moment before. "Lovely." Lara mutters as her right hand goes up behind her back and pulls out an arrow (she counts over, two sections to the Sticky Goop arrows as she'd read the labels.)

Her left hand snaps back to grasp the bow off of her spine, then pulls it around as it's limbs *SNAP* into place! Notching the arrow, Lara stands back up off of her knees and spins back around to fire one of Clint's, hopefully debilitating, Sticky Goop arrow at the woman who'd just tried to Quake-blast her!

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Jacob Hornsbie is a bit more nimble than they expected. May be it's all that MMA training. It's not that he saw Jemma like Jemma sees him, but perhaps he just expected the worst as he ducked out of the way the moment he sent the blast at Bobbi. He builds up his tremor again and blasts his office desk against the door.

Bobbi shakes off the broken mirror fragments and snarls, "Sonnova..." She runs at the office window and throws a stave ahead of her, smashing it. With a dive through she shoots him with the ICER and he drops. Only then does Bobbi straighten herself out, "Ouch. This is why Quake goes easy on us when we spar." She picks up her stave and motions for Jemma to advance.

Croft is an expert with that bow just like Hawkeye is, sure may be he has better toys then her but it's the skill that really matters. Anna lifts her gauntlets up again to blast her a second time but Lara is ahead of her and that sticky goop hits her where it counts, knocking her against the wall and pinning her there. The blast from her gauntlets shakes the whole building as it transmits up through the wall.

The door to the cafe swings open and a bewildered Korean woman pokes her head through, screams, then she and her kitchen staff.. and by the sounds of it all the customers in the cafe start running for it.

Clint is about to take a shot from the 2nd story but hears a noise and heads down to the 1st. At this point Kevin Fogle comes out of his office on the 1st floor and starts to shoot at Clint, forcing him to take cover.

Hector Bridges, the leader of this neo nazi gang exits his office, not wearing any bracers himself. A glow comes from the office behind him with his door still open. He looks down over the balcony at what is happening and turns to run up the stairs, but sees Fogle shooting his gun. "Shit," he says and dashes back in to his office.

Daniel Greenbay, now feeling invincible and strong, charges toward Drew, while Peter Galaxy and Ted Hart rise to face off against Quake. Ted shoots his wave at Quake and Peter jumps nimbly out of cover to double team against Quake.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"You ok, Spidey?" Daisy speaks over to Drew, a brief glance spared her way. She knew she was a tough agent, but she couldn't help but worry. And these guys were powered too. Which was turning into an awfully dangerous situation.

She senses the incoming blast before it arrives. Call it being attuned to vibrations. But there's that instinctive barrier being brought up to attempt and nullify the attack. "This one .., is a bit stronger than Heidi.." she immediately beginning to be pressed back, boots dragging on the asphalt, barrier barely able to hold up.

Of course that it opens her up for a few shots from Peter, who obliges and begins hitting her down hard and fast, using that new-found agility to start hitting her back against one of the vans.

Having to keep that barrier up she just stays there right now, arms up, trying to deflect while she gets some kicks and punches. Of course that now she is getting angry. And bruised..., quite bruised.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Jessica snaps off a quick answer to Daisy, "Good! Watch out!"

The twisted face of the man charging her was in their briefing notes. A documented psychopath so volatile that even HYDRA didn't want him in their stable of crazies. If she had more time to reflect on the distorted vision of the world seen through his twisted emotional eyes, she would be scared.

The spider mutations in her, always present, seem to come to life. Jessica looks like she is pressing something away from her. Arms outstretched, palms face first, the air crackles around her hands and focuses to a stream of bio-electricity. It streaks through the air to SNAP at Greenbay, who stiffens as it surrounds him and falls rigidly to the floor, shrieking his pain and anger at her. Standing over him, she delivers an ICER slug into the supine man so that he remains down.

With a quick pivot Jessica turns to help with the two on Daisy.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
Damn. That shot went wide with the unexpected nimbleness of Hornsbie. But, Bobbi takes him out in spectacular fashion...which might have stunned the biochemist momentarily, until Jemma realizes that she needs to move forward and does so with a nod to Bobbi. Yes...she definitely needs out of the lab more often.

All the while, those eyes are open and observant. Because Jemma really doesn't want to pull up short again. Though...there might be a thought in the back of Simmons' mind that dwells on the fact that she is much better in the lab. And...it sounds a lot like Fitz. Damn him for being right.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara observe the Sticky Goop arrow effectively splattering the woman to the wall and sealing her up there for the time being. The reverb from the woman's pinned-shock blast gets the kitchen and cafe cleared out after the blast hits one of its walls. Lara ducks in to the kitchen just to make sure though before she spins around and comes back out to help those still in the garage area with her. Her first sight of this is Daisy fightning with that man.

Lara's right hand goes up behind her shoulder and she counts over three sections on the Hawkeye quiver until she finds the EMP arrows. She draws one of those out with a smooth sound of graphite shafts sliding against one another. The archery-inclined agent raises her black compound bow, notches the arrow and draws the crimson red bow-string back to let-loose an EMP arrow that rips through the air and doesn't HIT the man, but it does land NEXT to him where it then beeps and detonates it's spherical blast of EMP-energy-disabling wave!

Jemma Simmons has posed:
Jemma....suddenly realizes that no one is aware of her. There are backs to her of people in the warehouse, fighting her friends. And....an easy access to the first floor, where she saw that heat signature before. It is a momentary pause, but then Jemma heads up the stairs. After all, she remembers Bobbi telling her to check out the first floor when free...and there is no time like the present for that.

Advancing up the stairs, Jemma's IR glasses gives her an indication where another target is. And...as she eases around the corner, she realizes exactly who it is. It is Fogle....and, as luck would have it, his back is turned to Jemma as well, as his attention is elsewhere. Perhaps someone much more adept at incursions than she is. But....Fogle is distracted...and Jemma knows what she needs to do. The ICER is lifted....and a single shot is fired. The soft report is barely heard...but the impact of Fogle to the floor as the dendrotoxin round strikes true, right in the middle of the back, is certainly heard. Perhaps loud enough to draw some attention.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Bobbi charges in to the warehouse right behind Simmons to witness.. Ted getting caught in an EMP, his quaking powers suddenly stop. Anna pinned to the wall, causing tremors, making the building shake. She points her ICER and shoots - best that one go sleepy time.

Clint is trying to get a good shot and jokingly implores Fogle, "Could you not?" When Fogle drops Clint peeks his head down and waves to Simmons, "Hey." He saunters casually down the stairs and shoots an ICER arrow right in to the back of Ted, dropping him too.

All that remains is Peter Galaxy.. but despite how limber he is and the beating he's just given Quake - suddenly it's 3 on 1.. Foster is there who called dibs on him to begin with, Quake is really pissed off and looking for some pay back and Drew has focused herself on him. Realising the situation he's in... he holds up his hands and gets down on his knees, "I surrender."

There is the sound of an explosion, sort of.. more like the sound of destruction. It's upstairs, 1st floor, right in the room next to Simmons. With all enemies accounted for except Hector Bridges, Bobbi motions for everyone to advance on his room.

Inside the office there is now a large hole in the wall, but Hector is slumped over the hole, twitching and unconscious, perhaps dead - instead of escaping he took a massive dose of the serum for super strength, super agility, super hearing, tremor powers, electrical powers.. and none of that could save him from an experiment gone wrong.

Standing in the middle of the room is a man in a light grey suit, small round glasses, grey woollen tie. His shirt is white and his appearance is immaculate, short aged grey hair. He is standing on a circle metal plate which is putting off immense heat. He turns to look at those who have entered the room, "Well, it seems they were not up to the challenge. No matter, not every experiment can be a success, how else can we learn."

Daisy Johnson has posed:
What Daisy will put on her report is that she didn't hear the surrender. Because she just doesn't get a beating for then this nazi scum to surrender when the tables are turned. And sure, her ribs are hurting like hell, one arm bruised up even if, thankfully, not dislocated. Her other arm is just fine though. And that's the one she uses to deliver a punch on the guy's face. Hopefully to take him down. "Yea.." then a glance about the Agents around by the garage level. "Good job, everyone."

A grin given to the 'gang' and then it's off to go up there, towards the room where supposedly Bridges should be. She moves carefully, drawing out her ICER, looking at the fallen enemies about. "Hey, battle cleric.. Think I will need your tender touch soon enough.."

Though then they are entering that last room and she frowns, levelling the ICER. Not that she shoots, or speaks. She's got an itchy finger though!

Jemma Simmons has posed:
The audible sounds of destruction are clearly heard by Jemma, being right next door to the situation. Of course, like a smart agent, she does wait until she has backup before she enters the room. And...boy does she have backup when everyone arrives and closes in on the room. There is a nod to Daisy, with a slight smile, as to her request for administrations after this is all over, but then, it is onwards and inside for the group.

And....the heat signatures of Hector and the circular metal plate are easily noticed....the circular plate, in particular, is almost white hot in Jemma's view, causing her to squint at the light. But...the man in the grey suit....does not give off a typical heat signature. it is too...uniform...to be an actual person. And....Jemma actually says that out loud. "I...I don't think he is actually here." And, being the intrepid scientist that she is, Jemma tests her theory....by walking up, ICER in hand, to prod the man. Only to watch it pass through harmlessly.

"A hologram. Rather advanced. The circular plate is the source. He isn't actually here." A finger reaches up to her glasses...this time, tapping the right side of the frames. This is to take a snapshot of the scene.

And, in particular, the face of the holographic individual standing before the team.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Jessica glances with concern at Daisy but shares the grin with the 'gang' as they gather up to assault the next floor. With one last glance at the people they downed she follows the others out of the garage. The muffled whomph of an explosion gives them the location to head for.

Spider senses extended, she is hyperalert to their attack bringing downed reinforcements from the outside. Not at all prepared to see the fussily dressed man standing in the middle of a debris field on what looks like a field-emitting hotplate. She stands nonplussed pointing her gun, as he talks to himself as though their presence was of no concern.

Lara Croft has posed:
Lara observes the others as they rush upstairs and she too looks up at the boom that comes from that vicinity but she allows the others to ascend ahead of her as she maintains a bit of a vigilant watch on the main floor for the time being. She looks at the people they'd collectively downed and exhales softly before she decides to head upstairs as well. She's the last one to arrive, because of this, and when she does she looks past the others to the holographic figure and just can't stop a frown.

"Lovely." She sarcastically says as she steps back out into the hallway to observe and maintain a watchful presence to keep a lookout for any others who may threaten them that weren't accounted for, bow in her left hand and her right down near her pistol's grip.

Bobbi Morse has posed:
Clint joins Lara looking out over the garage area, "Nice view from up here."

Bobbi walks in to the room once the team has secured it and tilts her head, "Run facial recognition Battle Cleric."

The man in the suit smirks a moment, adjusts his tie and says, "Well, it's been a riot but I have much work to do." He pauses a moment, then looks at the group. With a pleasant smile he says, "Hail Hydra." The image disappears and a puff of blue smoke comes out of the emitter as it becomes toasted on the inside.

With Simmon's taking an image using her glasses, it takes mere seconds to get a hit because he's a top priority target. The information that comes back is that of Daniel Whitehall, aka Werner Reinhardt, who is meant to be 116 years old and having passed away in SHIELD custody in 1989. He doesn't look a day over 40 in this new picture of him. The algorithm matched him against a photo from 1945.

The sound of cars pulling up outside can be heard as SHIELD agents storm the building and start to gather up the ICE'd neo nazis. Bobbi taps her comms, "We're on the 1st floor. There's also one down on the 2nd floor and one down on the roof top." She takes a moment to look at the team and says, "Well done everyone. This went about as well as could be hoped for." A medic pushes past through the door and checks the pulse of Hector Bridges. He shakes his head in the negative.

Daisy Johnson has posed:
"Chicken-shit." Daisy says over to the holographic figure at the indication that it's an hologram. A tsk and a shake of her head. The 'Hail Hydra' does make her frown deeply though. "Well, of course..." she holsters her ICER again, stepping back. Not that she seems to have recognized who exactly that was. She will let those with the tech to handle it!

Instead she steps out to the corridor to help in securing those they captured. It was a good day, capturing some nazis, punching a few in the face. Yep, good day.

Lara Croft has posed:
At the windows, when Clint joins her, she looks over at him and permits a faint smile to show on her lips. "Thanks for the arrows." She says back to him. "Useful isn't a strong enough word to describe them." She takes in a breath then and looks back to the room to see Daisy coming out from within it. "I guess that means we're locking this place down." She raises the black and red bow up then triggers it's internal mechanisms to snap it's limbs back into storage-position where she sweeps it back around behind her and connects it to the two quivers she's wearing.

Jemma Simmons has posed:
And the person with the tech does just that. Jemma reaches behind her, extracting that table from it's home in the backpack. The picture she snagged of the individual is uploaded into SHIELD's network...and an answer is returned shortly.

"Individual is Werner Reinhardt, aka Daniel Whitehall. Supposedly was to have died in SHIELD custody in 1989. Curiouser and curiouser."

There are questions that are certainly brewing in Jemma's head, though...they will have to be saved for later, when she can do some proper research. Namely...asking the newly reinstated Agent Carter. But, for now, she will take the victory here today...knowing that there is more to learn in the future.
