Date of Scene: 21 May 2024
Location: Xavier's School Front Yard
Synopsis: Thor gives some information to the X-men, via Paige.
Cast of Characters: Paige Guthrie, Thor, Bishop, Samuel Guthrie

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Early morning! It's one of those times when Paige is out and about getting her early morning run. Having just finished her five miles around Breakstone Lake, she's now coming back to the grounds of Xavier's while raising her arms in the air to stretch away the fatigue.

Stopping in front of the entrance, she wipes the beads of sweat from her brow and looks around. Will she do it? Is anyone awake? It's around 5 AM, so surely no one would be awake at this point.

To use her powers to get clean or to not. Clearly, she's thinking on it, and it looks like she's about to start ripping away when...

Thor has posed:
It may not be unlike the quinjet slowing down abruptly, the motion of one of those high-speed heroes in the air can be particularly impactful. The motion isn't a straight line, though, but an arc, a move in tangent, and then finally a rapid drop to the ground.

Thor, as always, is not overly mindful of where he lands or the damage created, but he does keep it off of destroying any driveway. The grass near the edge of the driveway though? ...Sorry grass.

Thor lands with a massive thud, and readily hops out of the dent, strolling up the walkway. Thor is dressed in 'human' clothes at the moment: jeans, a blue windbreaker over a gray tee. They're a little overly snug, as usual. Thor just assumes that's how modern clothes ARE. Not that it's him. He's entirely recognizable: the clothes do nothing to mask that he's Thor. Plus, Thor does carry Mjolnir, which gets hooked onto belt as he approaches with an automatic ease.

Thor has something else under his other arm: a weird metal box, about the size of a toaster. Though it is actually larger than a toaster, just as Thor is a bulky, broad and tall person. He isn't handling the item like it's a bomb; perhaps a gift of some kind.

"Hail!" Thor calls, top volume, at the person he sees at the front. His voice is booming, friendly. As is the bright smile added to it and open wave. Cheerful greeting, indeed!

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Xavier's has lots of flyers coming and going, so it's not like the arrival of Thor would cause concern. It's only when the grass is ripped from the ground and the soil and dirt are tossed up does she actually react.

Instinctively, she pulls at her grimey skin, revealing a bit of a metallic glint. After several schlurpy rips, a metallic, yet still feminine shape can be seen, with all of Paige's features.

Paigelossus looks like she's going to be on the defensive, but when she notices the blonde haired hunk of muscle, she squints and just stares. "Uh... hail?" she says, not quite sure how to respond to something like this.

Thor has posed:
Not to worry, Thor does this all the time. ...ALL THE TIME...

Others being unsure is sort of par for the course of Thor's existence on Midgard. He didn't quite take in ALL of the skin-ripping or what it meant, but he does absolutely see that /now/ she is very shiny and metallic in color. That is certainly an interesting feature, but he knows better than to directly address it as anything unusual.

"It has been multiple years since I have visited, I know. I do hope the welcome stands as open, however," Thor questions, graciously. As if Paige clearly would have the clout to determine that either way. "I do not bring a pleasant gift, sadly, but information of a foe, to your doorstep," Thor apologizes. He has approached fully, which does mean he's towering, but his manner is only friendly.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Starstruck. That's what she is, though considering her metallic state has muted her expressions, she doesn't really telepgraph it that well. But her voice does at least.

"Y-you're an Avenger." blink blink. "You're THOR!" blink blink. Yes, inside her inner fangirl is squeeing, but she also has to be cool and look cool.

"Um, welcome back to Xavier's? Are you looking for anyone in particular? BUt information is good, I could always pass it along to the X-Men." Alas, she isn't one... yet.

Thor has posed:
Thor doesn't mind, and just smiles through it, giving her time to go through the surprise as much as she needs. He isn't impatient, and often finds these reactions an interesting reminder about his own humility.

"Thor, yes. Thor has arrived at the Xavier estate," Thor agrees, with a warm sort of declaration that edges into teasing a little. He's making fun of himself, too. He chuckles then, quiet amusement returning. "I did not seek one in particular, no. I understand all here are quite capable." Thor respects the X-types: for better or for worse, maybe.

"I have some research of said foe within. ...It was not packed by me, I am told it is appopriate for the tech sorts to find evidence within. Perhaps the Cobalt Beast." Beast gets a special title.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
"Oh, Dr. McCoy!" she says, beaming brightly. "I don't know if he's available, but I could give him a message. How would I go about contacting you? Is there a Thor-signal? Or maybe a phone number?" Yes, she just asked Thor for his digits. Or at least, the Avenger's digits. If you're going to shoot your shot, you might as well be subtle about it.

"But yeah, come on in, I'll just have to get changed, get some new clothes and I'll be with you if you don't mind waiting for a few?"

Thor has posed:
"I do not generally carry a message device," Thor admits, "But perhaps it is in these pants." It could be. That would make sense, since the last time he used it, it was. He offers her the box to hold onto while he checks his back pockets for it.

"Success!" Thor triumphantly smiles, showing the phone. But... he fails to turn it on. It has no charge. Or is dead. Hard to tell. "Tony's tech is often not up to withstanding the force of Thor," Thor asides.

"I can examine your foyer while you make ready, certainly." Yes, he'll wait.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
There's a bright smile as she nods, and starts leading him into the foyer. Paigelossus has a little more bounce in her step, giddy as a school girl as she leads the God of Thunder into the mansion proper.

"I'll just change upstairs, and I'll be back down. I'll bring something to take notes of whatever you need!" she chirps cheerily, before she rushes up the stairs to her former dorm room (she still hasn't completely moved out yet) to shed her skin, be all refreshed, and be regular blonde Paige once more.

Thor has posed:
Thor spends his time looking for a place to plug in his phone. Lacking a cord is going to make this really difficult. But it IS a good excuse to wander around a little bit and look at the walls. Not that he would know which cord he needed even if he found some different ones. That would be a trial and error situation.

So, when Paige returns, it's likely she'll have lost Thor, since he's off down some hallway, looking at pictures on the walls and confusing any students passing by with his unexpected presence.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
It took a little bit longer. What does one wear in front of a god after all? Still, considering the weather, she settled on a nice floral patterned sundress that complimented her golden locks. She wanders downstairs and then looks confused as she doesn't see THor.

Until she turns around and sees him wandering the hallway. "Um, Mister Thor. I'm back now." she says, holding an ipad in the other hand, so she can be ready to take notes on this information. "We can go to the living room area so we can sit and chat and stuff." she says, still somewhat nervous around the Avenger.

Thor has posed:
What to wear? Thor's lens would have expected anything from a super suit to casual wear. Thor generally is in his full battle gear, but it felt inappropriate to arrive here as if he were starting (or asking for allies) in a fight. Besides, he had a local burger before coming to the mansion from a recommended place. And burgers? Those fit with jeans and windbreakers!

"You are much cleaner and happier then? Excellent," Thor says, reacting to Paige's floral dress with a warm smile. And perhaps a hint of something else, at her long hair. Thor's is still shorter than he'd prefer, at barely shoulder, due to ... circumstances he tries not to dwell on. But that is in the past.

Thor does self consciously rake a hand back through his hair, though, when he turns around. There's often a mild awkwardness to Thor inside places like mansions, where he feels bulky and a little out of place, and likely to knock vases over.

"Lead the way to your room of living."

Paige Guthrie has posed:
A wry grin curls onto her lips as she watches him rake his hand through those luxurious locks. Oh, to have the hair of a god. Imagine all the styles one could do with it!

After snapping out of her reverie, she blinks and ohs, "This way!" and she leads him towards one of the formal living rooms, with antique style couches and a fireplace. Taking a seat on the couch, she leans back and crosses her legs to get a tad bit more comfortable as she gives Thor an appraising glance.

Waiting until he's comfortable, she then asks, "So what did you want me to pass on?"

Thor has posed:
"The box," Thor begins, clarifying. His expression drops from sunny, and into serious. "I have been on a mission to slay demons that have been continually appearing in New York City," Thor explains. "SHIELD and the Avengers as well as several other allies have been made aware of these demons. It was hoped that they were stopped... but I found six in the past eve. The plague of them continues. This is a sample from one of them. It is not alive, nor harmful, but I would not open the box outside of a safe location or one of your scientists' labs."
hat's the box, and Thor dutifully reported the situation. He brightens some after explaining that. No need to dwell on the demons unnecessarily...

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Looking at the box, she tilts her head, as she purses her lips trying to take in the entire situation. "I can tell Dr. McCoy, um, but I don't have access to the sub-basement." And then she stage-whispers, leaning forwards towards Thor, "They're kinda strict on who has access. You might want to ask Rogue, or I can tell her!"

That's a good idea and she grins, flashing her pearly whites in his direction. "Oh, is there anything else you'd like? Maybe a tour?!?" she asks, trying to find a reason for him to stick around.

Thor has posed:
"Certainly. I saw a giant exterior area when I flew over," Thor suggests, curiously. He also stage-whispers, "I am also kept out of certain labs of Tony Stark. You break one robot, and get banned." He grins quickly, shrugging to that. "Whoever you best think should have the evidence." Thor is glad to wash his hands of the delivery: it's on Paige now!

"If it is not impolite, I did notice you are no longer the color of a sharply honed axe. May I inquire what that is?" Thor asks.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Putting the ipad to the side after she sends a message off to Beast, she stands up and stretches her arms in the air. Glancing back towards Thor, she can't help but chuckle at the mention of being kept out of labs. "I think I've broken a robot or two, but that's in the Danger Room."

The inquiry as to why her skin is normal is met with a chuckle. "It's my powers. I'm what they call an omnimorph. I can turn into anything." A beat. "In theory that is."

Thor has posed:
Thor is familiar with things like this. "Everyone knows I enjoy snakes. Can you become a snake?" Thor asks, with cheerful interest and focus.

"Perhaps one that does not bite or stab with daggers, as my brother is wont to prefer," Thor appends.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
The question catches her off guard. "I... don't think I've ever tried. When I mean omni-morph, I can turn into any material. I've never tried changing actual forms like that." Paige says, hrmming, as she start theorizing in her head how it would work. A snake sheds its scales like she sheds her skin after all. Maybe it could be a thing.

"I think all of them bite, but I didn't think they could stab with daggers. How does that even work?"

Thor has posed:
"That is true; a snake that cannot bite would hardly be a snake," Thor agrees willingly. He's fine with being corrected, it doesn't hurt his ego, nor does it upset him or make him defensive. "Perhaps I should have said 'would not bite Thor'." Thor gives a broad, obvious wink. A deep laugh settles out of his chest.

Thor is currently just inside the front door of the mansion, where he had been waiting for Paige to return from upstairs. She had needed to change clothes, and has since returned in a sundress.

Thor is in 'ordinary people' dress, but it's blatantly obvious who he is. And that he has a metal box in his possession with 'CAUTION' labeling on it.

Thor was delivering, and giving some information, but now, well, Paige has distracted the big Asgardian. "But let us go to your /tour/!" Thor announces. He's /loud/, that probably was heard upstairs in the dorms.... and outside. "I shall bring the box. It is not heavy." For Thor, anyway. It's heavy.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Letting the big oaf of an Asgardian take the box, Paige simply beams along the way. "Maybe we'll run into Dr. McCoy and you can give it to him." Running her fingers through her blond locks, she glances about deciding where to go first. "So this part of the mansion is where a lot of classes are taken." a beat. "Not like how to be a paramilitary fighter class, but more general education things that normal people would take. History, biology, math, and the like."

Motioning to the now empty classrooms she continues, "Somehow, we got educational accredation for K through 12 and even college. There's a few degrees given out each year."

Bishop has posed:
A security enforcer without much to enforcer is simply...an enforcer.

...Which is probably more menacing and vague then intended but needless to say when security cameras and the vast computer databases and library of information that is at the disposal of the X-Men pegs the arrival of Thor and confirms his identity, a certain Lucas Bishop takes very, very keen interest. It just so happened he was already in the X-Men headquarters security room, pouring over information related to the latest in a long list of problems that have been rising up when the cameras focused on the arrival of the thunder god and he looked up to the monitors in surprise while setting a folder down upon the workstation he had taken over.

"Well that's unusual..." he ponders while rubbing at his bearded jaw.

At first he makes no move to leave the base for the the main floors and halls of The Institute. The mansion is hardly devoid of activities and so any number of individuals could greet The Avenger appropriately so he sits back and begins to open the folder up again...until he sees another display revealing Paige Guthrie.

Visions of Paige selling 'My Norse Daddy' tee-shirts or 'Thunder-Bod' for 'fundraisers' flash before his eyes and he's immediately on his feet and heading for the secure elevator.

A few moments later and he's stalking heavily into the main hallway ..already finding them gone from the entrance.

The hunt begins.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie comes walking into the mansion. He has heard a bit about Paige's recent things, and while he was at work today he found a knock off t-shirt, and is walking up wearing one. It says Magnets are correct." He looks about and seeing Paige, he starts walking over, but hearing the speech, he waits thinking she is giving a tour to a potential parent.

Thor has posed:
"Oho! Classes to improve tactics. Knowledge of the sciences and nature. Stories of heroism and wisdom. Yes, I understand," Thor says, still in his full volume. If there ARE classes going on, they'll probably hear him. But then again, he could indeed be a zealous parent.

"It does strike me, though, that as the first part of the tour, a proper introduction would be most welcome," Thor directs towards Paige, with a bit of a playful wink and extend of free hand. As in, he'd like to learn her name. She announced HIS at him at top volume, but the same was not returned.

Thor moves back into the hallway from the empty class he'd looked into, occupying a big piece of it with his mass and broad personality.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Oh yeaaaaaah. Introductions are a funny thing when one is super famous across the galaxy and the other is just a fresh graduate of a hayseed. The question and wink brings a slight flush of pink to her cheeks as she lets out a girlish giggle. "P-Paige. Paige Guthrie. I don't know if you've met Sam, Cannonball, I think he worked with the Avengers before. He's my big brother." she explains.

She continues leading the way, though they might have just turned around the corner to another section of the hallway. "Here's some labs and whatnot. It's not just your chemistry or physics lab, but there's special classes like Shapeshifting 101 or Psionic Studies, cause you know us mutants, there's so many of us, now we have multiple people with the same abilities."

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Paige Guthrie totally doesn't notice Sam, cause ya know, there's Thor in front of her. And his muscles.

Bishop has posed:
"Sam."

Bishop's deep voice utters the name of the elder Guthirie in greeting. It's brusque and straight forward as is his way but still manages to be friendly as the large man nods his head upon seeing the other mutant.

His eyes then drift down towards the bootleg tee-shirt. He looks at it for a fwe long seconds ...but says nothing. Silence is sometimes the best form of critique.

"Have you seen Paige? We have an important guest with her..."

The heavy voice of Thor answers the question for him along with that lilt of Paige's giggle.

"Nevermind. I think we've found her."

WIth that he turns and starts down the hallway in direction of the class rooms and the science labs in question while also quickening his pace.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie comes walking over and raises a brow at Paige calling him by both his real name and hero name. So then he looks over and recognizes who he is talking to. He then nods to Bishop. "Yea, found someone selling these in times square today while Ah was heading into work, thought Ah had to get one to show Paige what she started." He then walks over with Bishop if he follows nodding to Thor in greeting.

Thor has posed:
"Where do you perform martial studies? Is there an area of the yard?" Thor's just genuinely curious, and also making an effort to be involved in the tour by asking questions as they come to him.

Paige didn't shake his hand, but Thor just left it out there, as if she eventually might shake it. "Cannonball. Yes, I recall. Well met!" Thor calls towards Sam as he arrives, and angles the same cheerful bravado to Bishop. Hey, there's somebody that might accept his hand-grip-- so the offer of greeting is extended to Bishop instead! He does not blame Paige for not shaking his hand; she may be intimidated and not wish to touch him. He doesn't take it personally.

Thor does move the box a little, and it makes a slight sloshing sound.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Her eyes widen as she finally realizes he was extending his hand in greeting and then nosewrinkles as it's turned to Bishops. "Mah manners. I forgot them. I'm sorry." she says sheepishly, looking at the giant ASgardian mitt before she turns and looks to see Bishop and Sam.

"Speak of the devil!" she chirps. "They might be able to discuss where martial training is and how we do it." Naturally, she doesn't know if she can speak about the danger room after all.

Glancing at Bishop, she offers a sweet and innocent smile. "I think I might have some new ideas for t-shirts!"

Bishop has posed:
Certainly being able to shake the hand of Thor is something he can now check off a 'to-do' list as Bishop glady and firmly accepts the handshake - trusting the God of Thunder to not overly squeeze here since it is freakin' THor after all. Bit Bishop' own grip is firm and spares no strength as the Avengers would immediately be able to tell such as those things are measured by those not blessed with superhuman strengtha at least.
5rHis smile is genuine however, if shadowed mildly by the fact that he's generally a very serious looking individual so there's a touch of ever present professionalism there.

"Thor. Nice to see you. I last saw you in action when Hydra attacked the UN but never had a chance to speak to you in person. Call me Bishop. X-Men member."

He inclines his head towards Paige as she makes comment about the martial training and he nods his head.

"There is a gymnasium and weight training center and it is designed for those with standard levels of athleticism as well students and faculty with enhanced levels. We teach self defense alongside helping them master their gifts."

There's a pause as he considers how much more to say but..again this -is- Thor so he adds, "Of course..anything that would give -you- a workout isn't in the school proper....but it's around."

His eyes then drift to the box curiously, noting the caution marking there but he gives Paige a side glance at her comment, "..I bet you do..."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over and says "Yes, been a while, but good to see you again." He says to Thor. He looks over to his sister, and says "Thought you might want to see the shirt, Ah found earlier." He tells her. He has some questions for her, but not in front of visitors. He will offer his hand to Thor as well, in the classic warrior hand shake style.

Thor has posed:
Thor didn't put any real power into the handshake whatsoever. It isn't even all that firm, really. His entire demeanor is friendly and relaxed, and without measuring. If whoever shakes his hand has something to prove, that's fine: Thor's just mellow about it and would never harm a human (or mutant) hand. Nor would he 'show off' unless they really tried to arm-wrestle him anyway!

"Bishop! Ahaaa. Some sort of evangelical and spiritual abilities I expect! I have great respect for those who tend to morality," Thor declares, cheerful and upbeat in the hope that he's guessed it. "Or perhaps you excel at chess. I generally do not. But do not let that lead you to assume my tactics are ill-thought," Thor teases. He still hasn't sensed or clocked his own volume, so there's still a lot of boom from the thunderer. But it is all coming from a cheerful and warm place of friendliness.

"I was not here to seek a workout, no. Although I do pride myself in challenging Stark's toys to their limits." Beating up Stark workout machines is a fun pasttime. During this he beams at Sam and is glad to do the warrior style handshake, pleased that Sam remembered to do so.

"I merely meant to bring this evidence to your scientists," Thor says, remembering his reason for being here. "Perhaps Doctor Beast."

Paige Guthrie has posed:
Perhaps Paige was a bit too distracted for a bit to notice the knock off, then she laughs, just shaking her head at the sight of her brother. "So I see you got the Wish Dot Com version of our merch." she says with an amused chuckle. "Quentin's going to be pissed. That was his design." From the Xavier Riots of course.

Then at the mention of Beast, she points to the other two. "They're X-Men! They could take the box." and she looks to the pair. "Something something demons." Clearly, she wasn't paying attention to the box when Thor explained it the first time.

Bishop has posed:
The strength of Bishop's handshake was born more from enthusiasm and his natural strength and not aggression though clearly Thor sensed that given his response and his cheerful demeanor.

Granted the volume of Thor's voice is enough of a reminder to not 'try it' to push the large Asgardian even if he had wanted to. Bishop's smile remains sincere but it does become a bit strained at the lack of the inside voice. But when Thor assumes his powers based on his name, Bishop laughs but doesn't appear embaressed.

"Ah, no. Sorry. I just go by Bishop. Force of habit from my days as a commander in...another security force."

No sense in weighing down the conversation with epic tales of his miserable dystopian future origins.

"My first hame is Lucas. Lucas Bishop. I just....never took an official codename. Commander Bishop just simply became Bishop and so I stuck with it. I'm not half bad at chess though....and I"d be curious to see how Stark's 'toys' compare to our Danger Room but for now.."

He changes conversation paths and reaches for the box, to take it into his possession if allowed. "Either Cannonball or myself can reach out to Doctor McCoy but I believe he's out at the moment." He exchanges a glance with Sam as he speaks for confimration of this and then looks back to the box, "We can at least get it to his lab though. What is this?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie 's brow raises a bit and says "Demons? We might need to give Illy a call, see if she or Dr. Strange can take a look at it." He hmmms and says "No offence ment, by this, but why bring it to us and not to one of the more mystical types? Ah mean to be honest, Ah would probably bring magical based stuff to them if Ah encountered it."

Thor has posed:
"I have a number of boxes," Thor explains. "Originally, we thought that the foe was defeated. Many slug-like creatures that I am told are demonic in origin," Thor explains. Thor likes to do story time, and his interest in telling the story may be very evident.

"It was a number of months ago, that I understand the monsters began to appear within New York and a city called Gotham. They were smaller, and attaching to some hosts to control them. Or perhaps that was another non-slug sort...." Thor's not sure, but proceeds anyway.

"They were being summoned, but once they are here, they seem to require no magic to best them: merely a firm impact or that of a weapon, to destroy. Their summoner was defeated, a gateway into their realm closed... we had thought that the end."

"But they have come again, and together if we all know of them, a more final destruction could be mounted." At least, that's the thought. "I did not think the X-Men had news of them, and I chose to include. Should you never meet them, though, it did not seem folly to catch you up, and provide this box. It is samples that SHIELD packed for me from the different beasts."

Paige Guthrie has posed:
"There's no need to keep mystical threats just with the mystics if it affects us all, right?" Paige offers as she looks between Thor and Sam for a few moments. "Besides, it's not like there's a competition..." Or is there?

"But if see any slugs, we'll let you know." Then she pauses and hrmms, "Do you think salt would work on them? I know that if you put a little salt on real slugs, they dry out. Could that be used? Like a lot of salt?"

Bishop has posed:
"It might be magical in origin but Hank might be able to deduce a biological solution or provide an angle based on his expertise in genetics. The X-Men are also no stranger to magic or mutants that use magic.." Bishop nods towards Paige and Sam, "..Right. Magik, just as you said."

He pauses, realizing that one can't assume he meant Magik with a 'K' and not Magic and so explains towards Thor, "Illyana Rasputin. Mutant teleporter. Goes by Magik...with a K."

He shakes his head, "The X-Men have quite a bit going on but frankly more cooperation and involvement across different teams would be ideal. I don't see that we wouldn't help if we could and the warning is definitely appreciated."

He considers the box and nods his head once more, "Do you know anything about the summoner?"

He pauses and then says absently to himself, "Funny. Met a mutant connected to Kama-Taj not long back... I wonder..."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie hmms and nods a bit to this and says "Makes, sense, yea, and Illy, is my go to, but then she is the first Ah knew with magic. Speaking of Magic, if you see Etrie tell him Ah said hello and hope he is doing well." He hmmms a bit and says "Ah was more thinking of finding experts to know what to do with it, all knowing it is about and being prepared is a good thing."

Thor has posed:
Thor is just glad to have the box out of his possession, now. So Bishop having it means Thor is done with carrying it about! "A number of the Avengers have more information than I do. Hawkeye is a liason with SHIELD. Hopefully everyone can..." Thor makes a general hand-gesture to depict everyone jumping into the center, "Talk. Discuss." Thor hoped to open the door to that, while being aware he is not the best information source compared to all the magicians and scientists.

"Salt? I did not attempt salt. Lightning and impact were my choices. I have also seen them cut down by other means, such as swords and guns. But it is more their summoners that I think is the threat, as they puppet innocent people in some means. It makes it difficult to know who to punish: who is controlled, and who is not."

Thor gives a deep sigh, and then gives Sam a quick look and nod. If Thor remembers, he'll pass that along.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
"Other than Dr. McCoy do we have a liaison with the Avengers?" Paige asks the two senior X-Men before a brilliant idea hits her and she flashes her pearly whites while attempting to grab Thor's bicep. "What if Thor becomes an X-Men liaison?" Yes ladies, you all can thank her for this brilliant decision, even as she tries to cop a feel, cause muscles.

Clinging onto the Asgardian perhaps a bit too long, she gauges the reaction of the two, especially Sam before looking back up towards Thor. "What do you think? It would give you more reason to come here for uh... tours. And other communique." See, she can use big words to sound official.

Bishop has posed:
At that, Bishop just gives Paige a deadpan 'I see you' look. He shakes his head lightly and then smirks a little, "Thor is always welcome to come to the mansion any time. I see no problem with that if he can tolerate mutant teenagers and young adults running amuck inbetween classes."

No doubt even a Thunder God has his limits of patience.

"Anyway, tracking down the summoners involved and putting a stop to them is the priority. Perhaps with more infomration we can see if there's a pattern to their activities or discern if there's a particular method of magic involved to narrow down possible sources. "

Bishop eyes the container, frowning now as he looks it over, "We'll certainly keep an eye out for the creatures and maybe Henry will see something in a study of these remains that might grant a clue. A way to protect peo;ple from them. Something. Beyond that, I can't say for sure. Sorcery is far from my expertise. I can absorb it - but can't tell you anything about it.."

The X.S.E. Commander wrinkles his nose mildly as he hears its contents sloshing around, "I better put this somewhere safe in his lab, for now. Thanks for informing us about this." he begins to step away. With Sam here, he seems a touch more confident about leaving Thor with Paige while he attends to putting the box away.

Thor has posed:
Thor considers Paige's question with full seriousness. "I believe you may know of the Scarlet Witch, or the Dazzling one. But I am unsure of their connection to your group," Thor comments. He isn't up on every team's roster by any means, those are just some he suspects could be related, as they are in the mutant category.

"I am a poor choice, due to being torn between multiple realms. However, I will do what I can to bring news as I can relate it," Thor says, moving his other hand to squeeze Paige's at his bicep and give her a gentle smile. He did catch on that she has interest in seeing him again, and her smile and beauty is noted!

"But for now, I must away. Until we speak again!" Thor grants, bidding his farewells. He will exit by way of the yard, a spinning hammer, and a leap straight up into the sky.

Paige Guthrie has posed:
There's a brief look of disappointment and a nosescrunch on her features at the mention of Scarlet Witch and Dazzler. "I mean, I guess they're okay." she says, scuffling her foot a little. "But uh, don't be a stranger, okay? I still have to finish your tour!" Yes, that would be a reason for him to come back, right?

Then, she looks towards Bishop and nods at the mention of the box. "I'll let you know if I see Dr. McCoy." And finally to her brother, poking him in the belly. "If you're going to wear that, at least wear the original." a beat. "Your sister designed it."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over to his sister and a brow was raised at her reaction to Thor, but he will not embarass her in front of the Avenger. He puts it in the pill to torment her a bit about later.
