Cast of Characters: Jessica Drew, Leon O'Malley

Jessica Drew has posed:
Rain in the downspouts, rain deep in the gutters, splashing under taxi tires, dripping, dripping. Spider hearing takes practice. As many years as Jessica has lived with it, it can still be overwhelming. Focus. Breath. Focus.

Jessica crouches, impossibly head down on the side of the building, hanging over an alley. It smells; the odors of restaurant dumpsters and the homeless scenting the night.

It's not that Jessica likes hanging upside down in the rain, her thick mane of black hair has started to rope into tendrils, her nose drips but the drug dealers have made walking home too much of an adventure at night. So, she surveys the scene, considering what she wants to do about it.

Leon O'Malley has posed:
As Jessica stakes the deal out, a black humanoid mass swings by the alley, swinging back around a moment later and coming to a bouncy twisting stop in front of the alley's entrance, "...Hang on...Almost..." The voice coming from it is a horrible overlay of human and the growling gurgles of an eldritch horror.

Leon drops from the black tendril-esque web onto the sidewalk, landing in a one knee'd crouch....facing the wrong way. He then stands up and turns around, awkwardly clearing his throat, "You uh....You'll forget you saw that....Now drop the drugs, or kiss the ground, your choice." He says as he tries to salvage his dignity with an unflinching badass walk into the alley, totally disregarding of danger.....It doesn't work.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Jessica's senses flare. Alert thrumming through her as she smells what has to be spider swinging into the alley. The human strutting into the alley belies her senses. Taking a few steps further down the brick wall brings her ten feet over head of the three thugs she had been watching with a spider's patience. One of them had mugged the older woman on the first floor just last week.

The three turn, a sputtering street lamp gives a glimpse of the sneer of the first dealer, built like a fire plug, leather jacket open, pocket heavy with the gun he carries. The other two, both younger, boys from the barrio being brought up into the dealer's life, hang back letting the block chief take the lead.

Leon O'Malley has posed:
As Leon steps towards the sneering dealer, he idly says to seemingly no one, "Yeah, I see her, we'll handle it." And then breaks into a run towards the meat wall, a tendril suddenly shooting out and impacting the dealer's chest as he steps forward, then snatching him towards Leon, who jumps as the tendril releases the man mid-air, kicking off his back and planting him hard face first into the ground, leaving Leon to roll through the landing.

"Warned ya!" Comes the horrible overlayed voice as he rises from the roll, facing the younger dealers.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Intrigued, admiration in the tilt of her head, Jessica leaps to make a light three-point landing behind the two that are being herded back down the alley. She shoots a glance at the supine body then murmurs, "Come to momma," to the two. Startled, the one with razored sidewalls whirls to face her. A blue light arcs between them, enough to illuminate the fear in his eyes as she knocks him back with a 'venom blast'. The blast being in essence a bio-electrical discharge that can kill when she ramps it to max and is as uncomfortable as a taser. A sort shrill scream leaves the boy before he collapses.

Leon O'Malley has posed:
As the pair turn to face Jessica, Leon steadies himself from his roll, another tendril launching out from his hand and yanking the remaining wannabe banger to his grasp, picking him up by the scruff and pants and flipping him over and down to plant against the ground with his face, "And kiss the ground." Comes once more from the hellish amalgam of a voice.

As Leon straightens up from the injured goon, he slowly turns to Jessica, "...Neat trick..."

Jessica Drew has posed:
Stepping out of the shadows, a formless face resolves into a dark mask, the eyes blank white tilted dashes, a cloud of dark hair framing its oval. Jessica's voice is dulcet and smooth with a British lilt to it. "I could say the same. These," she reaches out a leotarded leg and nudges the 'blasted' boy with a slippered toe, "have been a nuisance."

Leon O'Malley has posed:
Leon lets out a low, horrible, gurgling chuckle, "You must be greener than us. We could've taken these three down with my arms tied behind my back." As he says this, a tendril slithers out of said back, snaking along the ground until it wraps around the big one's foot, dragging him over and placing his ankle in Leon's hand, who holds him up not unlike an overused sock.

"Well, if they've been such a problem, wanna wake him up and give him a talking to?" Leon asks with a shake of the goon, the gun nearly falling out of his pocket in the process.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Greener?" Amusement and a laugh sing in her voice. "My, my, full of ourselves, are we?" She takes a step forward to recuperate the gun.

"Before someone uninvited into my alley, by the way, bumbled into things, I intended to jump down and have a little chat with them." Grabbing a handful of jacket, she pulls the tased boy to his feet, holding him upright with one hand.

Leon O'Malley has posed:
"Riiiight." Leon says, clearly not convinced by Jessica's all too true analysis, tilting the thug just enough so that when he drops him, the goon only lands on his upper back, and doesn't break anything important, "Well, Belle, if there's nothing else, our night's just getting started. Have fun with all the drugs." He says as he turns on heel and starts walking for the alley exit, stepping on the back of the other grounded dealer like a bump in the road.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"You are showing your age! Or is that you're IQ?" Jessica calls derisively after the amalgam of man and spider "The least you can do is clean up after yourself." She shakes the boy she has in hand, hrumphing to herself.

Leon O'Malley has posed:
At Jessica's complaining, Leon spins around, tendrils snapping out and tossing the goons in the air as black webbing spurts from the back of Leon's wrists, pinning them all to the wall one by one, the last one being a shot to the thug Jessica herself is holding, "....Oh, almost forgot." He says before shooting another web out at the Spider-Woman's feet before twisting as he jumps a good ten feet up onto the wall, kicking off as he launches a web-line to swing away on, "Careful what you wish for, beautifull!" He calls back before whipping around the side of the alley's entrance and out of sight.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Spider reflexes barely help Jessica avoid the last tendril aimed at her feet. "Oh!" she shrills with disgust. "You just answered my question. Be that way but on the other side of town!"
