Cast of Characters: Robert Marksman, Tandy Bowen, Tyrone Johnson

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman came to the local school today in an attempt for an outreach to the community. He spent the day talking to the science classes and meeting some of the students, talking about possible grants from or jobs from Marksman Industries. He did not wear a suit, instead dressing as he prefers which ya does look more thugish but may have helped him connect with the students. He could have called a driver or catch a cab, but he decided to walk for a while, maybe get to know the neighborhood some, maybe grab some food.

Tandy Bowen has posed:
Two kids from the neighborhood perch on the broad rounded steps leading up to the devastated church. Walls rise behind them, broken, jagged teeth of granite superstructure and brick still blackened by the fire that cracked out most of the windows and left a hollow shell.

The young blonde woman wraps her hands around her knees, picking at the hole that bares her white skin. "I don't know, that was rough," she says, staring out on the street.

A man passes by whom she ignores at first, catches her attention. His face causes her to track him more carefully. "Look, know him?"

Tyrone Johnson has posed:
While he sits in the steps of the church, Tyrone is one with the shadows. He doesn't have the ability to change clothing. Or to shower, or eat, or... well live really. His shoulders lift his cloak in a bit of a shrug. But then again, next to the lithe blonde dancer beside him, he may as well be invisible. Dagger tends to stand out in that way that all pretty girls do.
While Tyrone is just a skinny kid stuck halfway into the darkforce dimension. He murmurs softly, his voice no longer stuttering, but pitched low so that only Tandy hears his words, "I've no idea. But we got lucky. We can't count on random backup arriving to save our asses in the future. We need to do better recon from here out. That's my fault entirely Tan..." he says, speaking slowly and enunciating himself clearly and definitely.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman notices the others maybe the girl a bit more than the young man, but enough to not think the young lady is out on her own in the wrong neighborhood. He will offer them both a node in greeting and heads on to the corner and looks down the cross street area, before turning to look back to those on the steps "Hey know a good place to grab some food in the area?"

Tandy Bowen has posed:
"No, we can't. But how do we go about doing that?" The high sweet voice carries pique in it though not at Tyrone. The situation had been one of the most dangerous they had faced together since their escape. She stops following the man on the street more interested in their conversation until a voice cuts across her next thought.

Tandy doesn't have an adult filter on all her expressions. Squinting, mouth set in a one-sided frown, she shakes her head no but stands to point up the street. "I mean, you could use Yelp or Trip Advisor, right?"

Without consulting with Tyrone who is invisible in the shadow of the church wall, "Are you the guy that owns a big company here in town?"

Tyrone Johnson has posed:
"Tandy. The man was asking politely." suggests Cloak as he lurks there. "There is no reason to be rude." But he sighs and shakes his head, "As for recon... I will have to go in alone and spy on potential enemies. You know how hard it is to spot me when I try to remain in the shadows."
But he slowly rises. It's not like he -stands- so much as just... alters himself to be vertical. "I will be on guard if you wish to go offer advice to the man."

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman 's brow raises a bit behind the sunglasses he wears. He says to the girl "Well most of the people who live in an area know more about it than the social warriors on the internet." He will offer to her "And my Brother and I own Marksman's industries if that is the one you mean. With this town there are quite a few. He may not hear all of the talk between the other two, but perhaps enough to have him curious.

Tandy Bowen has posed:
Mouth still set in a grimace, she nods to Cloak, murmuring too softly for the man to hear, "Got it."

Taking a step down, she shrugs again, "You like soul food, go to Cheryl's Global Soul. Or Chinese? Go to Xifu's. They're both on Livingston. People like them a lot. Kind of pricy but you look like you could afford it."

She descends another step still standing above the man, "With this town there are quite a few what?" The question carries a note of teenage challenge in it even though Cloak told her to behave. That rebellious streak raises its head in her.

Tyrone Johnson has posed:
Silently brooding about it, Tyrone winces inwardly at Tandy's tone. He shakes his head and though he doesn't say a word, it doesn't take a genius to imagine Tandy hearing his words in her head the way he's said them so many times before. It really is an odd dichotomy, the dark demonic one lecturing the bright glowing angelic girl on how to behave. It likely annoys Tandy as much as she loves it.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman looks to her, and says "Folks who run businesses, be them electronics like my the one my granddad started, places to eat, places to buy about anything from clothes to furniture." He does look the girl over, and says "So, want to tell me what I did to piss ya off, besides, asking where I could find something decent to eat?"

Tandy Bowen has posed:
"Your face?" Even in the daylight, someone attentive would see the steps becoming inexplicably brighter, an affect that Tandy is either unaware of or ignoring. Aware that something about the man makes her angry, she still isn't perfectly in control of what she feels or how her powers react to her feelings.

Lips pressed tightly together, she lifts a shoulder dismissively then relents when she half turns to Tyrone. She didn't need to see the wince to know of its existence.

Tyrone Johnson has posed:
Yep, cue Tyrone wincing. He closes his eyes and breathes an unneeded breath. He would normally just go out there and try to calm her but... this is not a situation where that can be done without giving entirely too much away. But he does wish she could hear him.
He just groans inwardly and hopes this doesn't turn into a complete clusterfu**.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman sinces a bit himself but not at the words, more at the girl as she starts to glow brighter." He will shake his head, and says "Look girl, I aint looking for a fight, I am looking for food, so how about you jump on someone else's shit, and I just go get my food." He turns his back to her, to start to head towards the Chinese place she mentioned and also not to have to look on the light.

Tandy Bowen has posed:
Tandy Bowen says, "Livingston Street will do you right. Kind of a smart ass for someone in the papers, aren't you?" The retort rings loudly as she begins to quite carelessly glow at him.

"Boy," she exclaims, bitingly. "Anyway, I didn't mean anything about it." Tyrone's voice has begun to insinuate itself into her anger. She knows she'll be ashamed and contrite later.

Tyrone Johnson has posed:
Just... watching, Tyrone's glare is easy for Dagger to feel. The two of them have that sort of dynamic. But he just drifts back further into the shadow so that she doesn't immediately -see- his dark expression. One full of self-recrimination more than doubt in her.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman just shakes his head and walks on down the street he does ponder calling a cab a bit to just leave the neighborhood, but he aint letting one encounter with some teens form his opinion of the area, flavor it maybe but not totally decide it.
