Perfectly Normal Pillow Talk
Date of Scene: 16 June 2020
Location: I dunno probably Atlin's bedroom or something
Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Ella Normandy, Atlin

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella pulls the sheets up over her shoulders. Atlin's bedroom isn't cold by most stretches, but sweat drying on her skin gives the air conditioning a little extra bite she would enjoy a shield against. Under the covers, she rolls onto her side and lazily rests a hand on Atlin's waist, regarding her with the languidly content expression of someone who has just had a very satisfying night.

Atlin has posed:
Amazon or not, exertion was something that could catch up with anyone. Atlin herself, she was quite content laying back comfortably on the bed of her suite. Hair a mess, forming a burnt-gold halo around her head on the pillow, the tanned woman closes her eyes as she rested on her back, one arm gently shifting to try and encircle the shoulders of Vampirella against her. She didn't have words to speak, questions or concerns. Honestly? After recent events and more of the Bana-Mighdall Amazons following to New York?

This was the most relaxed she'd been in a while!

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella smiles a little at Atlin's moony face and kisses her earlobe gently. She can sense the passive acceptance drifting through Atlin, and, with no thought or calculation but pure predator's instinct, seizes the moment. Her mouth opens and she's probably more surprised than Atlin is when she hears,

"So I've been hiding some things from you since we met."

Atlin has posed:
A little lazy opening of her eyes, Atlin wasn't without her own 'empathy', but her inheritence of her 'bloodline' made it...twisted. It also meant it was near useless at predicting something was up with Vampirella's words. She blinks, shifting a little, just enough to lift her head and meet the other woman's gaze before tilting her head to the side. "Hiding things?" she questions, frowning -just- a little.

"What do you mean?"

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella's calm is perfectly real. After all, if it's too late to turn back, then why waste time worrying about it? She smiles to take the edge off of Atlin's worry, and dips her face forward to nudge Atlin's nose with her own.

"Like that I'm not human. Like that Ella isn't my name."

Atlin has posed:
Confusion, puzzlement more than anything from the Amazon, but she nods slowly after a moment. "I am..." she begins, still looking a little confused before she leans in to return that little nudge and shrugs her bared shoulders. "You are a mutant then? Or an Alien of sorts? I have found several more of such people in the city so far. Even one who claimed to be the son of Ares, although I am not sure of how truthful that might be..."

A little blink, she seems to be 'alright' so far.

"Why hide your name?"

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella rolls onto her back, wrists on the pillow near her ears, palms facing the ceiling. It's a seductive pose, but Atlin more than most people might realize it's also a submissive, vulnerable one; a pose that invites her arms to be pinned to the mattress. A pose of no threat. "Because my name gives away who I am. It's Vampirella," she says mildly to the ceiling, waiting for Atlin to act however she chooses to.

Atlin has posed:
"Vampirella?" Atlin repeats, indeed recognizing the pose for what it is...but not quite taking the 'offered' position yet. Instead she turns to her side, braced on one hand and adjusting the blanket they shared for the moment. "This is...a strange name here then. You are a vampire, like the creature I met in the park. She fed on the blood of a brigand who attempted to rob a couple the first night I visited this city before fleeing..."

More confusion than anger, or some sudden rightous attack at some unholy abomination. That was probably a good sign, right?

"And you hid this because you thought it would scare or unnerve me, yes?"

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella notes Atlin refusing to take the offered position of strength, and, encouraged, rolls back onto her side to face Atlin again. "Yes," she says, frankly. "I have to kill to live. I don't drink from humans, but whatever you think you know about what I have to do to live is probably right."

Atlin has posed:
"You do not drink from humans," Atlin repeats, perhaps brushing on irritating with her continued mirroring of words, but none-the-less coming to lean in just a little, close enough a kiss could have been made but instead questions were offered. "So you kill animals to survive? Animals then? Creatures that themselves might be eaten by another for their meat? This is not so strange..."

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella doesn't retreat from Atlin's closeness. "No. Animal blood is useless. Vampires don't feed on hemoglobin, we feed on life." For maybe the first time that isn't related to exertion, Vampirella blushes, just a little; but she continues, resolute. "I prefer to feed on monsters, when I can."

Atlin has posed:
"Monsters? Like the Satyr? Other Vampire?" she trails off, biting her lip to think, silence taking over for almost a full minute before she speaks again. "I am...I mean..." she begins before exhaling a breath and begining again. "If those you hunt are monsters, creatures or dangerous people...they are the sort that would be condemned by my people's law. But here in Man's world...there are those that would hunt you. I am not one of them if what you tell me is truth Ella..."

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella smiles wryly at Atlin. "It's complicated. The short version is, I eat family first, other monsters second, and humans only if there's no other choice." That last part is a bit of a lie, she's always been willing to drink from humans who threaten her, but it's close enough to the truth it doesn't bother her to say it.

Atlin has posed:
"Complicated..." a soft agreement given by the Amazon before she exhales a breath, flopping back in the bedding with a sigh. Crossing her arms over her chest, she closes her eyes lightly. "But...I thank you for feeling able to tell me."

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella's eyes flicker to Atlin's crossed arms; a warding, guarded gesture. "What are you feeling?" she asks quietly.

Atlin has posed:
Those arms remain, but only a moment longer. Was it guarding? Self-comforting? Hard to be sure. Eventually though, the arms fall away and one comes up to brush through her own tangled mess of her hair as she closes her eyes. "This journey from my home to the rest of the world has been...strange, full of confusing and new things. That you should be one of them? I suppose I should have expected that..."

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella smiles a little. "Did you expect me to be like you?"

Atlin has posed:
A little laugh, Atlin shakes her head. "No...noone is exactly like me. But I am sure I enjoy you being...you so far."

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella settles in, propping her left temple on her left fist. "Am I supposed to ignore the bait on that 'no one is like me' you just dropped?" she asked wryly.

Atlin has posed:
A little giggle despite herself, the blonde shrugs her shoulders in her current position. "I mean...that's up to you..."

Ella Normandy has posed:
Vampirella just looks patiently down at Atlin, her eyebrows raised.
