Synopsis: Roberto, Ororo and Kitty have a talk in the kitchen over pork, coffee and cereal, can you guess who had what?
Cast of Characters: Roberto da Costa, Ororo Munroe, Kitty Pryde

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Honestly with as much as he'd ate at Steph's BBQ you'd think Roberto would be sick of pork by now but apparently not. It was between meals at Xavier's and the recent graduate is reading one of the two heaping containers of roast pork he'd brought home from his trip to Gotham. As he does, he taps his toes, and looks generally brighter than he has since his return from captivity with Mr. Sinister, where his memories being torn away leaving his mind full of holes. Ones he was only just starting to fill, though thankfully yesterday had made some new good memories to help him through the loss.

As he piles pork onto a plate, he hums tunelessly, his back to the door.

Ororo Munroe has posed:
She was not one to socially mingle in large crowds. It was not that she disliked being aorund people, but people that truly knew Ororo knew her as someone who liked a quiter setting. Thus, it was usually later in the evening that she chose to venture to the school's kitchen for something to eat, the chance to not run into too many people a bit more in her favor. Truth was, she was not really hungry, it was coffee she was after.
Entering the kitchen, the woman pauses in the doorway seeing Roberto already there and humming away. She did not wish to interrupt him, at least not immediatly, simply watching him as she leaned against the doorway in a pair of tight form fitting pants and a white tank top, her long white hair freely falling past her shoulders. "What are you making there Sunny boy?"

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty comes down the stairs, doing a little dance step to music that is just in her head. Ok, not entirely in her head as she's humming a few notes of it. "Da da da... da doo da doo," she vocalizes as she dances her way down the hallway, dropping herself into a normal gait as she nears the kitchen.

She rounds the corner, wearing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, likely something she probably wears to bed, but fine for roaming the halls too. "Hey guys," she says with a smile as she comes in. Ororo gets a hand rested on her shoulder, having always been something between an older sister and a second mother to Kitty when she first got to the school.

"Roberto. You look like you're in a good mood," Kitty says as she moves past Ororo to go over to the cabinets and pull out - you guessed it! - a box of cereal.

Roberto da Costa has posed:
The nickname and the voice is familiar and only adds to Roberto's good mood as he turns, "Hello Ms. Munroe," he greets with a smile. "Or is it Ororo now that I've graduated?" he wasn't sure of those rules as he was unaware of so many things at the moment. "And I was dishing out some pork from my girlfriend's BBQ last night," which would explain the good mood most likely. "You ladies want some," he gives a playful frown to Kitty, "Though not sure if it goes well with cereal."

Ororo Munroe has posed:
She knew that voice. She knew that voice well. It was the melodic singing ot Ms. Kitty Pryde coming their way. Ororo was wlel aware of Kityy's later evening kitchen raids, they were pretty common. Kid was addicted to cereal and when she needed it, there was no time of day she was going to deny herself. When the hand is placed on her shoulder, Ororo's on hand extends to rest on hers as well. Letting the young girl continue on her mission for whatecer cereal was tickling her fancy this evening.

"You know Kitty you are going to turn into a Crunch Berry if you are not careful." She takes a step into the kitchen further and makes her way over to where the other to are now. She leans in and looks at the pork on Roberto's plate, actually leaning in to smell it. "No. I think I am good, tho it does smell delicious." SHe puts her hand on his shoulder as well. "You may call me whatever you wish Roberto. Ms Munroe...Ororo. I even answer to that Weather Chick."

She walks up behind Kitty and places her hands on both her shoulder now, squeezing them lightly. "Oooh good choice..." Peering over at the box she grabbed. "I need coffee."

Kitty Pryde has posed:
"Oooh. Girlfriend? Do we get to grill you on her? And does this mean more of your memories are coming back?" Kitty asks. She pauses, visibly inhaling to draw in the aroma of the pork. And then she gives a regretful sigh. "Jewish, Roberto," she reminds him. "Seriously, I wish I knew what was wrong with pork, but... ah... I'm a good girl."

"And the Captain is an old friend," she says as she pours the bowl of Crunchberries, patting the image of Captain Crunch on the front of the box. Kitty goes over to get milk from the fridge, adding it to the bowl, then getting a spoon.

Once the food situation is squared, she hops up on a counter to begin eating. "I can think of worse things to be than a crunchberry," she says. "Though you know, I don't like that all crunchberry cereal. It sounds so awesome, but... it really needs the other to make the crunchberries special." She takes a spoonful. "So, memory, girlfriend?" she asks Roberto, not letting herself change the conversation.

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto flashes Storm a smile. "I don't think I'm brave enough to call you Weather Chick, I can just feel Scott frowning just mentioning it," he says lightly. Yep, even with only part of his memories, he knows what Scott can be like. "I'll go with Ororo if that's okay."

"Wait, you're not allowed to eat pork?" he asks, clearly one of the holes in his memories. "That's rough," he says moving the pork out of Kitty's sight out of consideration for her.

"Ah, some of them are back, some aren't. It's weird, like bits and pieces, flashes of things but without much context, and then some parts are more complete. I recognize people now, and I know if I liked them or not, but I'm fuzzy on the details, like, Ororo, I know you've been my teacher, and that, I respect you, but I have no clue what class you taught, but odds are if you asked me a question about the subject, I'd be able to answer it. So, yeah, it's like that."

As for the girlfriend question, he leave that tantalizingly unanswered for now, just to tease. So, at least that much hasn't changed when it comes to Roberto.

Ororo Munroe has posed:
"I could see that. when you east regular Capn' Crunch the berries are like the special thing. If you just eat the special ting, there is nothing special in the cereal. That's deep Kitty. Whoa." She winks and reaches into the cereral bowl quickly to pluck out a crunch berry and pops it in her mouth. Kitty is given a wink and a hand reaches out to tossel her hair. "Thanks kid."

She spins away and moves to the coffee maker, starting to prepare herself a cup. "Memories are going to be triggered by a variety of things Roberto. A face. A story. A certain sound or smell that is going to wake up your brain to memories that are..." She pauses and turns, leaning up against the counter. "Okay think of it this way. Your brain is like a file cabinet of information. Your cabinet got toppled and a lot of things fell out and those things are not labeled. But, if I pick up this folder here." She pretends to pluck one from the air and pretends again to open it. "Oh look. It says something about your first day at the school and getting lost and I finding you standing outside the women's dorm about to go in. DO you recall that?"

She prerends to hand him the /file/ "I only have a summary, but I think your brain will now be able to file thid again with all the details. We just need to have you put all the files back in."

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty slowly eats the cereal, not minding one Ororo plucks one of the precious crunchberries from it. She motions with her spoon. "Exactly. It's the contrast, how much better they are than the normal cereal, that makes you appreciate them," she says.

The Jewish girl gives Roberto a nod and a sigh. "Yep. No pork for Jews who keep with those tenets anyway. Not everyone does, but I try. That said, bacon smells incredible and you know how the whole kitchen smells like it in the morning with as much food as we go through. It's like hell on Earth I swear," she says.

Another mouthful of cereal. Kitty doesn't wait to finish it, talking with her mouth full though cover her lips so it's not gross. "So where'd you get the meat anyway?" she asks, the words distorted by the partially full mouth.

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto blinks when he's 'handed' the file folder of memories. The little metaphor seems to work and he remembers thirteen year old him in front of the door to the girls dorms and about to touch the handle before Ororo's voice calls out warmly, telling him he may have gotten lost. "That's when we met, you called to me before I went in," a beat. "Right?" he looks to the teacher for confirmation.

"Ouch, that's rough, but good on you to sticking to it, apparently I'm Catholic and we've got this thing called Lent where we give up stuff like that, but only for forty days, we must seem like wimps," he grins.

As for the pork. "Girlfriend's BBQ, um her name is Steph she's from Gotham, she's pretty great," he says finally answering, a bit of a goofy smile on his face before he reins it in. "Her mom threw a big pig roast for graduation, waited until I got back and everything."

Ororo Munroe has posed:
The personal cup coffee complete, Ororo pours it into a simple plain mug, choosing to drink it black it would seem as it is raised to her lips for a small sip. "You are right Roberto. That was the first time we met. I still do not know for sure if you were truly lost or simply choosing to walk into the girl's dorm however." Another sip is taken and she winks to him. "Some memory secrets are best left untold...am I right?"

Her hand blindly goes out to the side, open palm, seemingly asking for another crunch berry but not offering the actual words. "So what do we think Kitty? All the way to Gotham. Re-heated pork sandwich...the meat of the beloved. That coy smile. I would say that our little Roberto is in love." She smiles, the teasing not over the top and moves to hop up on the counter beside Kitty now. "So Steph. Must be short for Stephanie. You are using nicknames now. That's cute. Her mother already must adore you. Well well Mr. da Costa."

She shoulder nudges Kitty and then softly adds. "I am teasing you. I am glad that you are happy. Ther eis no doubt in my mind that she will become a critical component of your healing."

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty Pryde passes the bit of cereal luxury over to Ororo as she listens. Kitty does get a faint smile, and there's a brief look in her eye as if she thinks to say something, but then seems to reconsider it. "You have had a bit of a reputation as a lady's man. Not sure if anyone has mentioned that," Kitty tells Roberto.

Though she immediately follows that up with, "But, not necessarily in the bad ways that can be taken, or meant." Kitty stirs at her cereal, looking at it while some thoughts tumble through her head. She glances back up to him. "So is this... new feelings forming on top of the lack of memories? Or something you felt before?" she asks curiously. "Or, not really sure yet?"

She takes another bite. "Either way, I think it's awesome," Kitty says, looking over to Ororo for confirmation of awesomeness.

Roberto da Costa has posed:
"No comment," Roberto answers about the dorm room situation. Though to be honest he can't remember either way, but, knowing the stories Sam told him about himself, he bet he had been there on purpose.

There's a nod, "She's already been a part of the healing, really she's what got the ball rolling on me remembering things, before I just had impressions, if a person was important to me or not, but no details, she was the first one I remembered something concrete about."

There's a nod to Kitty, "Definitely before, we've been seeing each other for a couple of months apparently, and I've been down to see her a lot since I got back. Between Jean, her and my mother it's really helped."

Then he turns things about. "How about you? Any romance going on for you?" he initially aims the question squarely at Kitty before he spreads it out to include Ororo. "Either of you."

Ororo Munroe has posed:
Kitty is given a nod of confrimation. "Oh total awesomeness. This is going only going to expediate his healing. Each day is going to be a little better Roberto. I promise you that. One more piece of the puzzle will be added with each passing day." She take the crunch berry and pops it in her mouth, chewing it slowly. "Damn these things are good. You might be converting me Kitty to your new belief; Cerealism."

Another sip of the coffe is taken and the woman known as Storm idly swings here barefoot legs from her pech on the counter. "Who me? Romance? Well to be honest there is nobody I can particulary speak of at this time. DO I come off as unapproachable?" It is more of a rhetorcial question, but she does look between her two companions. "I mean just wondering."

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty listens to Roberto, and as she hears about how things are going for him, it brings a bit of an extra warm smile to her face. She takes another bite of cereal as Roberto asks her and Storm about their own romantic lives. Kitty avoids choking on her cereal but it is a little bit of a rough swallow when the question hits at just that moment.

Kitty has a little bit of a soft grin though and shrugs. "I... ah... I kind of have been dating a little," she says. "I don't know about anything serious. I've sort of been keeping anything from getting too much so, just, letting people I go out with know I'm still... that I'm not ready for something too... you know," she says, shrugging. "But, it's been good too. I've had good experiences," she says, eyes going over to Roberto.

Roberto da Costa has posed:
"It does look good, just don't see it going with this," he says of the cereal as he gestures at his pork. As for Ororo's question. "Dunno, don't think I think of you as romantically approachable because the teacher thing, I look at you and I think respect, but to someone else, definitely approachable, right Kitty?"

As for Kitty's love life, he says, "Could see that being fun, I think that was what I was doing before Steph," he says. "Definitely felt like some good experiences there," he says with a nod.

Ororo Munroe has posed:
"Fair enough. That makes sense. Let me just say that I am not actively looking and leave it at that." She takes a longer sip of the coffee and looks between Kitty and Roberto. "Former student or not, not sure I am ready to discuss that any further." She winks and sets the coffee cyup down beside her on the counter, pushing to slide herself off it.

"I can say this for the two of you. You will know. You will know when you have found someone you want to date more seriously or be with for a longer period of time. You will not see it coming, you will just know. It will be a person you can be yourself around, not having to put on an act to make them like you. It will be a person than when you are not with that person you are wishing you were. It will be a person who you is the last person you think about before you go to sleep at night and the first thing you think about when you wake up. You find a person like that...they are worth the chance. It is better to feel pain than nothing at all. Just my two cents."

She shrugs and smiles to the pair. "You Roberto I am sure have such feelings...and as for you Kitty, well you will soon enough if you do not so already. My only advice is this...it should not be work. It should all come naturally."

Kitty Pryde has posed:
Kitty clears her throat a little bit after hearing Ororo. Of course, everyone at the school knows about her feelings for Piotr Rasputin before she went away to college. "It doesn't always go how you think," she comments. And then realizes she doesn't want that taken wrong. "I really hope things work out for you, Roberto. While I think you did enjoy how things were for you before... at the same time I can see you being someone who when he finds something right, it would be a big thing for you. A really good thing."

Kitty finishes up her cereal and moves to the sink, washing the bowl and spoon, then drying them and replacing them where she got them from. "And I'm totally setting Ororo up with someone once I find the right person," she teases with a grin.

Roberto da Costa has posed:
Roberto listens before he speaks and when he does, he smiles, "I think that's how it was for me and Steph, she just happened. At least that's the memory I have," he says. "Anyhow whatever happens with Steph and I don't ever think I'll regret her being in my life."

There's a nod of understanding for Kitty. "I think so too, but glad I've found what I've got and I hope you find something that's just as good, actually I hope you both do, if that's not out of line, Ororo?" he asks the teacher.

Another smile follows and he says, "I'd help Kitty, but most of the people I remember knowing are in this room." he jokes.

Ororo Munroe has posed:
"Oh is that so Kitty?" Ororo's eyes slide over to the young girl's, trying to keep a straught face and not being able to do so. "Well we shall have to see about that. I can be quite picky. And if I am unhappy you may find an extended period of rainy days just because." She sticks her tongue out jokingly at Kitty and reaches for the coffee, draining the last sip and moving to rinse it in the sink.

"It is not out of line Roberto. Not out of line at all. In fact consider the line erased. It's gone. I do not see a line anymore. That better?" The cup is set down beside the sink all cleaned and washed and the woman known as Storm stifles a small yawn. "Now unlike the two of you.., I need my beauty sleep." She walks over to Roberto and if allowed gives him a quick hug, moving to do the same if allowed to the perched Kitty. "If either of you need anything..you know my door is always open."
