Siobhan Smythe has posed:
Trying once more to enjoy the smallish park known as Battery Park, Siobhan has taken herself outside with her guitar, smiling as she settles into a spot on the edge of the park, settled on to a small bit of stone and smiling as she idly strums at her guitar. She isn't out trying to get money or anything, just idly enjoying the guitar while she looks at people passing briefly. She turns her gaze back to the guitar, smiling as she strums along, not seeming deeply concerned for the world around her, just for her own personal little meditative practice of playing.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen considered coming out as himself, but he actually found the talking thing interesting and it would be hard to explain as Bart. So today Impulse has been doing a look through the park on occasion and now finding Siobhan, he will come to a stop, and offers a smile "Um, Hi."

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
Looking up from her guitar, she blinks at the sight of Impulse and then she smiles and stops playing, "Hi." She chuckles as she hears him say that and then she idly tilts her head, "I am beginnin' ta think you're followin' me." She chuckles and then she idly plays a few notes before saying, "Still upset that I didn't choose ya for my final round in Match Game?" She grins at him, "Or wantin' to do more universal speak?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen smiles and says "Well I might have been able to help, but have been told I have a unique outlook on things. So I can understand choosing someone else. " He smiles a bit and says "You had mentioned music and I thought I might come see if I could find ya and hear ya play.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
"Oh!" She laughs a little at the last bit and then nods, "I do like to play in various places. I had a gig at a small cafe not too long ago but I guess I can do a little playing here." She states and nods her head. Siobhan looks down and idly pulls out a small amp from her case and sets it aside, "I was playin' just a little bit on the guitar without any extra sound but if ya want to hear somethin' I can certainly try."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen smiles and will move to stand a bit closer and says "Um what type of music do you like the most? I have listened to a lot, but had to relisten to a good bit as my friend told me it is not the same listening to it on fast forward." He admits with a bit of a goofy grin

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A smile as she laughs and then she looks down, "Rock and a little bit of pop. The Cranberries are a favorite group of mine but they are from where I'm from so dere's dat." She nods her head, "It's pretty easy for me to play and sing." She looks to him, "Do ya have a preference?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen says, "Well to be honest, I listen to a lot of electronic music, so how about playing me one of the songs you like a lot, maybe one that means something to you. Your from Ireland or is it Scotland no offence ment but I get those two confused/"

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A blink and she stares at him, "Lucky I'm a nice one." She states simply enough and laugh softly, "I am from Ireland." She nods her head and then she idly puts her hands on the strings and thinks. She looks to the side, "I have played dis one recently but I don't mind playin' it again." She states softly and then begins playing lightly. There's something lost to a degree without the rest of the instruments but she plays all the same.

The music that comes next is rather well played and her voice is melodic. Near enough to perfection to be it when she sings. The song is Linger by the Cranberries and she hits the chorus, she pushes her voice higher.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen listens to the music and pays her a rather high compliment she might not realize is one yet, but he stands still and listens to the music giving her his undivided attention. He cocks his head slight to the side listening and thinking about the words tot he song she chose.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A smile as she finishes and she idly taps the guitar, "That's probably one of the best songs by The Cranberries. Too bad the lead singer is gone." She frowns a little and shrugs, "Sad thing really." She looks up at him, "It was that or Zombie." She laughs, "I do like Zombie but people tend to get caught off guard by that song and it isn't as pretty as much as it is loud and angry." She nods her head, "Well, angry by the Cranberries standards."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen grins a bit and says "So what brought that one to mind, you got a boy friend that you have had issues with?" He will ask as he runs a hand through his hair seeming a bit nervous as he asks this question.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A laugh and she shakes her head, "No, not really. I've never really been one for relationships given my past." She states softly and then looks up at him, "I really don't have any family left." She states softly, "And given how some of it ended...I kinda do get teh feeling of the song." She shrugs, "All the same, I'm kinda alone in the world."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods a bit to this and says "I sorta know how that is, when I got here there was only a few connections to people here. The interesting thing though is if your willing you can make new connects, have made some really good friends since got here." He looks unsure a moment, and then says "Um would you like to have something to eat sometime?

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
Nodding in agreement with the making friends part, she blinks at that last part before she smirks, "Ya know what, sure." She states simply enough and nods to him, "We can go get somethin' to eat sometime. Sounds like a good thing to try out." She grins and then shrugs before she shifts her guitar over a bit, "You'll have to pick the spot dough." She nods her head, "I really don't know the city all that well yet."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods and says "I am pretty new around here as well, but have a couple friends who I can ask, and if you like we can eat pretty much anywhere, or I can go get something specific, like if you miss something from home I can get it and get it back here for you.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A laugh and she shakes her head, "I left home. Lets have something from New York." She nods her haed, "Or Metropolis." She nods her head, "I visit both fairly frequently." She then shrugs, "Just come up with somethin' and let me know." She pulls out a slip of paper and it has her number on it. She hands it over to him, "Don't have cards yet but I keep these on me for gigs." She laughs, "Just give me a call."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen smiles and takes the paper, and says "Cool, I will find us a good place." He is tempted to head off looking for one now, but he waits "So, know you like music and languages, by the way you probably won't find anyone else who speaks that language. We are probably the only two on earth currently who speak it."

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A chuckle and then she nods, "I see. Well, language for me isn't so much a like as it is...just a ding I do." She grins, "I can learn basically any language...at least I assume I can." She nods her head as she then shrugs and then tilts her head, "So, why is it such a rare language? I doubt ya just made it up. I'm not sure I can learn made up languages." She then thinks, "I don't think so anyway."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen hmms and says "Might be able to tell if you went around twins, I mean I have heard they often make up their own languages when they are growing up. He rubs his hand through his hair and seems to think and says "Mostly because it aint quite developed yet. Might be a version of it out there, but the version I speak is from the future."

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A blink and she tilts her head, "The future?" She asks and then she considers, "Can't say it's the strangest ting I've ever heard but dat's definitely up dere." She states and then shrugs before looking to him, "So, ya came back here for some reason?" she looks around and then back to him, "Did you choose dis time cause it really isn't all that great at the moment." She laughs, "At least I don't believe so."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen shakes his head, and says "You know when I said not many connections to here, when I got here, the time was for one of the connections. I was.... not well.. and someone here was one of the few people my grandmother thought could help fix me."

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
"Ah." She states and nods her head, "I see." She then considers the world, "Well, I suppose if you were sick and you had to get a fix in the past, den dis is where you'd go." She then thinks about it, "Was it something someone had to do? Cause seems strange that you had to go backwards in time to fix an issue that someone fixed in the past. I mean, wouldn't ya already have de cure in the future?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods his head and says "Yea, was something only a few people known of could do, and the one in this time was one my grandmother knew so she brought me here. So, what brings you to America, if I can ask?"

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
"As I said." She nods her head, "I haven't really got anyone or anything left back home. So, I figured I'd come here and become a star." She chuckles and pats her guitar before shrugging, "Why not?" she grins and then she gestures around, "Lots of opportunities in the big city of New York." She grins before idly putting her amp away and starting to pack up her guitar.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods, and says "Well if there is anything I can do to help I am willing to." He offers with a smile. So, you said languages is more just a thing what do you enjoy besides music?" He hmms and says "Ever play any video games?"

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A grin and she shrugs, "A little but those cost money." She nods her head, "Somethin' I don't have a ton of when I spend my money on music stuff." She shrugs and laughs before nodding her head to her guitar, "I have played a little." She nods her head, "Just not a ton, partially due to not really havin' a chance." She nods and laughs, "Might like it but den my life is kinda a game in and of itself."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen hmms and nods his head a bit and says "I felt like that a lot, you would not believe it somewhat." He nods a bit and says "Luckily a friend is letting me stay with him, I am looking to get a job to make cash as well. I am thinking about working at a Zoo.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A nod and she smiles, "Well, if ya like animals, den dat's a good one for you." She nods her head, "However, I ought to get goin'. I can't just sit around in a park all day. I gotta constantly keep movin' if I want to make it here." She laughs and nods as she picks up her guitar, "Money doesn't just show up if you hope for it."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods his head a bit to this and says "Well I will call you in a day or two and we can set up time and place to get something to eat. I am looking forward to it.

Siobhan Smythe has posed:
A smile and she nods before she stands up, "Cool, see ya then." She then gives him a wave and turns to start speed walking off, smiling a little as she goes. She checks her phone briefly and then walks faster.
