Synopsis: Atlin and Artemis meet again and Atlin offers some advice
Cast of Characters: Artemis, Atlin

Artemis has posed:
Artemis wasn't really the type to ask others for advice but she also was quite new to Man's world in a way. She often didn't stop any one spot and make any aquaintances. Now that she has, she is not sure what to do next. She has gotten herself involved in things to a greater extend than she expected she would and really has ever done before. So, now she is off looking for another of her Sisters she knows is here and hoping to ask them if they know what is up. That has led her to Bryant Park.

It isn't super hard to find Amazonian women really. THey tend to stand out. So, she asked about for Atlin by her description and people seemed to point her here, to Bryant Park. She arrives and begins to look around, hmming as she realizes how large the place is and hmms.

Atlin has posed:
Atlin herself was indeed in the park, and at least lately she'd been a little bit better about disguising herself. If 'a little bit' meant she tended to wear a jacket over her armored one-piece that marked her as an Amazon. She might have left her weapons behind, but recent encounters had left it clear to her that she'd been drawn into far too many confrontations and actions of late to be completely unprepared. The 'Daughter of War' still needed her own bracers to block bullets after all!

Within the park she walked, her long hair loose and a little wild in the breeze while she walked. A moment of peace really, which all she'd had on her mind lately. Greater encounters and battles around her had been...more potent than she'd care to admit.

Artemis has posed:
Upon spotting the woman, she smiles brightly and starts over in that direction. She raises her hand in greeting and nods, "Atlin." Artemis calls out as she approahces her fellow Amazonian. She's one of those lucky enough to have a weapon presented by the gods. She has no need for bracers when she can use such a weapon to defend herself. However, she still keeps on her armor under her loose fitting pants and top. As she approaches, she picks a spot to lean and nods to her, "I was looking for you. I had not seen you in a while."

Atlin has posed:
A blink, -almost- a jump. Whereever Atlin's thoughts had been, they'd been enough to distract her senses for a time. Turning to the sight and 'feeling' of the other woman, there's a slight nod and instinctual movement of her arms in greeting before she gives a little embarassed chuckle. "I have been...wandering Sister. I suppose it is very close to being 'lost' except you never had a certain destination when you started off. Man's world has been a very strange place." A little shake of her head, she steps forward, her own arms shifting to rest crossed under her bust.

"I am glad to see you are well."

Artemis has posed:
A slight change to her demeanor upon hearing that and she takes a breath before she nods, "I understand." She states simply enough, "I am not entirely used to this way of doing things." She nods her head, "I am glad to find you well, too." She nods her head and nods to Atlin, "However, man's world is part of the reason I sought you out. I was hoping perhaps you might have more experience within their society than myself but it seems you might be as confused as I am."

Atlin has posed:
"Experience," Atlin muses, giving a little chuckle as she moves closer to the redhead. "But there's still quite a bit I am 'getting my head around' as they like to say. Meeting their champions, dealing with their criminals, brigands and thugs...although I have been introduced to foods that our people have never quite experienced." A little chuckle, she bows her head, closing her eyes. "Even so Artemis, I will attempt to aid you where I can."

Artemis has posed:
A smile and she nods, "I have seen some of their so called villains. Frankly, I have yet to be impressed even by the one that was a dinosaur man. I do not believe he counted on dealing with an Amazon." She nods her head and shrugs before looking to the side briefly, "Though it was fun to beat up his minions." She chuckles and looks then to Atlin, "However, I was wondering what you know of their heroic groups? I have been asked to join one of those groups."

Atlin has posed:
There's a little look of suprise from the blonde, turning on her heel and uncrossing her arms. "Suprising...but perhaps you have made quite the impression. I've spent most of my time reclaiming stolen Amazon artifacts and secrets of Bana-Mighdal that have ended up in the wrong hands, but I have heard of some of these groups." A shared smirk at the mention of minion punching, she shrugs her shoulders. "I've yet to meet any threat that was prepared to handle an Amazon, but from what I understand most of these gatherings of champions are respectable."

Artemis has posed:
A hmm and she nods, "That seems to be the case. They seem to think that I am someone who can make a call that they cannot because I am a warrior." She nods her head and then looks down at her hands before looking up with a smile, "I do think they are respectable. I am only after one artifact but I have no leads so perhaps making friends is a wise idea." She states and nods her head, "I could offer them help and it might work out." She then looks the side, "I cannot say for sure but if you say that these things are respectable, perhaps that is the best call?"

Atlin has posed:
"If it were me?" Atlin considers, tilting her head. "I would accept. A chance to learn, to understand these people and their ways is worth it...and a chance for challenging combat." A pause, she exhales a breath. "Honestly Artemis? I'd almost be jealous. Purpose and task seem to have alluded me, beyond recovering our people's stolen treasures. I burn for more..."

A bite of her lip, she turns to look out towards the street, glancing back over her shoulder after a moment. "I hope I have helped in some way, but I've always been one spoken of for her passion rather than her council."

Artemis has posed:
A laugh and she nods, "Well, I haven't got any other sisters running around this area or this world, truly, Atlin. We are alone out here in many ways and so, even if your passion is where your strength lies, your council is still valuable to me." She nods her head and then she looks to the side, "I am still finding many strange things here but to have a team or a group of friends already seems strange. I was alone a lot even among our people." She considers, "We shall see."

Atlin has posed:
"I will be here if you need me Artemis," Atlin speaks, hands once more coming to that self-comforting cross while she speaks. "In combat with your new friends, or in company. It is nice to be able to speak to another Amazon of Bana-Mighdal. To have someone who understands things that this world finds strange, and who finds things here as strange as I do..." A little laugh, she turns back finally to face the other woman. "Perhaps next time we meet, we will find something to celebrate and enjoy this city a little more."

Artemis has posed:
"Sounds good to me, Atlin." She states simply and then looks down before sucking in a sharp breath and then letting it out, "I honestly look forward to speaking with you again when that time comes." She looks to her sister and offers a hand to clasp before adding, "Don't be a stranger, Atlin. I do not wish for as much time to pass between our next meeting."
