A new look for 'Spider-man', stumbling across Black Cat
Date of Scene: 21 July 2020
Location: Rooftop across from Metropolitan Museum of Art
Synopsis: Johnny impersonates Spider-Man, Black Cat didn't buy it.
Cast of Characters: Felicia Hardy, Johnny Gallo

Felicia Hardy has posed:
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is still gorgeously lit from the outside, even long after closing time. The Faith and War gala is over, but the artifacts are still present for the general public, and Felicia Hardy has a full suite of floor plans, schematics, and direct scans of every possible security measure and trap standing between her and the Holy Grail.

Except for magic, which could be a problem.

She's currently perched on the rooftop of a nearby building, sitting on her knees and looking down on the Met from above, wearing her signature black suit. And, though the sun has been down for a couple hours now, it's still really hot. But...not *quite* hot enough for her to turn on her skinsuit's climate control and drain the battery. So she's just kind of dealing with it as she watches the museum with a pair of binoculars in one hand and a turkey sandwich in the other. Finally fed up, she awkwardly works for the zipper near her upper chest, currently showing off a few inches of her cleavage, and drags it down a little further, letting a lot more get exposed to the late-night breeze that is her only saving grace for the moment.

It's not like anyone is around.

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo was making one of his first 'rounds' about the city. It was easy enough to reach the top of one of the buildings, and after a few false starts, he was easily able to start bounding rooftops like a pro. He kept his eyes out, glancing down at the streets below for anything that might be suspicious.

Tonight, 'Spider-man', was wearing his spidey cosplay outfit, with his jacket over the top of it, looking not unlike a mix between spider and scarlet spider. His mask left his platinum blonde hair showing, blowing in the breeze as he almost literally bounced from rooftop to rooftop.

He was jumping down to the rooftop of a building near the Metropolitan Museum of Art, his gaze on the square leading up to it, mostly devoid of people now that the museum was closed. On his downward arc, he saw the woman, binoculars, and a zipper dipping further in the heat of the night. His eyes went wide a moment in recognition, and he cleared his throat before he landed a dozen or so feet across from her.

"Not a bad night to find a roof with a view!" He quipped, hands dipping into his pockets as he walked along the edge of the roof towards her slowly. "What are you doing here?"

Felicia Hardy has posed:
Snapping alert with wide eyes when someone lands on the rooftop nearby, her head whips around with a swish of her mane of silver hair and a rock of her chest. Immediately relaxing again with her eyelids falling half closed, she purrs at the pseudo-spider. "Eating, what's it look like?"

Taking a big bite out of her sandwich, she watches him for a moment longer as she chews before looking away to peer down at the museum through the binoculars, "Y'know, you don't text me for like a week, and you suddenly show up copying my hair color? That's not very nice." She pauses to briefly glance back over, "Nice jacket. Not really your style, though."

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo had a confused look for just a moment, but covered it quickly, "New phone. They don't always last long in this line of work." He mused, before running a hand through his hair. "Immitation is the highest form of flattery, no?" He smirked and gave a wink.

He brushed off the shoulder of his jacket. "Found it recently. Still seeing if I can make it work right." He followed her gaze back to the museum. "Out window shopping?" He steps left him a few feet away, still standing on the ledge.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
"Mmhmm..." Still looking through her binoculars, Black Cat sets her sandwich down on the paper bag it came in, using both hands to hold the binoculars briefly. "Well, I mean, maybe...~" She glances back over at him with a fun, loving, *affectionate* smile at the last, lingering syllable. Watching him warmly for a few more moments, she returns to gazing down at the Met, leaning toward it a bit with her center of balance moving forward as well. "So where ya been? And I'd personally lose the jacket. Doesn't seem like your style."

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo gave a nod, "So noted." He watched her, his stern confidence melting a bit at the affectionate smile, and then looked back at the Met, following her look. "Keeping myself busy. Working on a few new things." He paused a beat, "Bowling." He shrugged, and glanced down at her. "And you? No call for a week, so now you're after... what's worth it in there anyway?" He asked curiously.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
Black Cat lowers the binoculars completely and looks over at him with a little confusion and a hint of suspicion. "...Did you really just say that you ignored my texts to go *bowling*?" Frowning a little, she lowers the binocs to level with her zipper. "Spidey...is there something I should know about going on?" The device goes to her lap, and the girl in black is looking more and more unhappy by the moment.

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo glanced down at her, taking a step back. "Oh, no. Not that. I mean, my phone was broken. I didn't get the text. I've got a new number. Wont happen again." He paused, "The bowling was working an angle down on the pier. Ended up striking out." He ended with a small smirk at the unclever word play, pulling out a phone from the inside pocket of his jacket. "Number?"

Felicia Hardy has posed:
"Oh... I get it." Yawning and stretching her arms above her, she tosses her binoculars into the little backpack sitting nearby with the rest of her 'work' gear. Getting to her feet lazily and doing a few side arm stretches back and forth, Felicia zips her suit back up, and smirks at the costumed guy across from her. "You're not actually Spider-Man. Probably a good thing I kept the suit mostly on."

Diamond-tipped claws *SHNK* from her fingertips and she smiles, "So are you like the Raiden version of Spider-Man?" She takes a very delicate, half-shuffling step forward, *juuust* a little closer with a deliberate rock of the twins.

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo winced as his cover was blown. "Shit... How'd you figure it?" He didn't retreat just yet. His danger sense was still mostly chilling. He watched her carefully, taking a deep breath. "It's not exactly like that. Besides... You looked hot anyway." He grinned, trying to defuse the situation.

His other hand slipped out of the pocket of his jacket, holding a goldish metalic disk, about the size of a small frisbee. "Let's not be too hasty here."

Felicia Hardy has posed:
Felicia Hardy smirks, "Spider-Man is more technologically savvy than I am. ...At least with phones." She glances at the disk and her eyebrows go up, "Well, I mean, can you use that device before I throw you off the roof? 'Cause I'm not sure you can." She winks, "I'm pretty fast!"

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo gave a nod, and a small 'huff' of defeat. "Fair point. I'll have to remember that." He glanced to the pavement many stories below, and then back up to her, "Pretty fast? More like deadly beautiful." He grinned back, "But, I'm fairly certain I could use this before you did that, because I do know at least one thing you don't."

Felicia Hardy has posed:
"Sorry, pseudo-Spider." Black Cat at least looks a *little* sorry before suddenly darting forward, intent on at least attempting *something* to disable the fake web-slinger long enough to make her escape. "But I'm kinda already involved with someone!" Two steps into the run, she attempts to dive forward into a hand-spring, and if she's not intercepted, she's going to have her legs around his neck, and not in a good way!

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo 's danger sense kicked in then, and boy did it. As she dove forward, Johnny jumped up and back in a backflip, spinning as he did, launching the disc out. "Lucky guy!" It flew beneath her, missing her entirely, but bounced off an air conduit, and then hit her backpack, knocking it off the roof.

He slipped away, admiring the view as her legs wrapped around empty air, and he was falling towards the pavement below. His disk miraculously returned to his hand, and he slipped it into his pocket once more. "Maybe I'll be your rebound guy!" His voice calling out cheerfully as he fell, kicking off the ledge, and angling himself in the air to grab her bag before it hit the ground.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
Black Cat gawks. She just got played.

She *actually* just got played!!

But it's not going to be that easy. "Oh no you don't..." Black Cat narrows her eyes and *focuses* on the semi-Spider, willing misfortune to start converging on the web-slinger. Meanwhile, she aims an arm directly at him, leading her shot juuuust enough, "You are *not* stealing from this thief" A grapple line rockets out from her wrist, the cable streaking toward him as he sails through the air.

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo was laughing. This was going well. Like. Better than expected well.

The was until her backpack fell onto a fabric awning, acting like a trampoline, and shoot it back up into the air.

He felt the Danger Sense, telling him he was under attack, but he was still going for it. He grabbed a flag pole, going to use it to shoot himself back up and after the bag, when her grapple caught his ankle. As he looped over the bar and sprung up, he was pulled in the circle, and ended up tying himself up for a moment around the pole. "That was smooth... What the hell?..." He fiddled for a moment to get the cable untangled from his foot while hanging from the flag pole.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
Sailing down out of the air is a Black Cat, swooping after the bag that Johnny-Spider failed to nab. "Better luck next time, Raiden!" She fires a grapple cable back up toward the rooftops even before she grabs the bag, ready to snap-swing back up once she makes contact. "Standing here, I realize~..." She starts to sing the song from Metal Gear Rising.

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo got the cable off his foot, and was ready to spring after her once more, answering in sing song, "You're just like me..." He stood on the pole, and watched her swinging away. He debated for a moment, but something else caught his eye.

He grinned and jumped, but not towards her.

He hit the same awning her bag had, and shot up in the air. He held his hand out as he neatly landed on the rooftop where they'd been before, her sandwich in his hand. "It's not nice to eat and run!" He held it up to try a bite himself.

Felicia Hardy has posed:
It tastes like turkey. And love. But mostly turkey. Black Cat, however, was long gone, already swinging out of sight on her grapple lines. Whatever the little golden disk was, she didn't seem interested in a rematch with it. It'll be a while before she realizes she lost it.

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo watched her swing away. At least he had dinner now. He sat on the roof top, eating it till it was gone. "Mmm... Not bad. Not bad at all. Alright! Time to get back to work!" He hopped up, and then took off across the rooftops, looking for trouble once more!
