Cast of Characters: Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, Lorna Dane, Gar Logan, Shuri, Hal Jordan, Samuel Morgan, Nadia Pym-van Dyne, Rachel Roth, Carol Danvers, Donna Troy, Hank Pym, Caitlin Fairchild

Tony Stark has posed:
Those who have obtained an invitation might be surprised to see that the location on it is NOT, in fact, any of the hero bases!

Instead, in one of the tall buildings overlooking Mutant Town, a mobile 'base' of sorts has been created, taking over the building temporarily. Funny what obnoxious amounts of resources and the ear of the mayor can create via opportunities?

The building is heavily outfitted as a lab, with a mix of tech from the various groups brought in for heroes to work together on the issue, including multiple test areas for items to be test-resized, and one whole floor devoted to where a device could be hooked into, say, some other giant power source or computer banks, if needed.

For the moment, though, a big table with expensive chairs has been set up, with some temporary big consoles and monitors all around it. Those arriving are screened heavily by security (a mix of people and tech drones) before they're brought inside to the meeting area. Food is available on the way in, a decadent array of tasty nibbles.

"Sit or stand, whatever is in your hearts to do," Tony Stark himself comes out from around some massive temporary technological-looking arrays, a tablet in hand. His presence is large, commanding of the room, as one of the Avengers leaders: and one not often seen off of a stage or television set, for most of these heroes. "Let's get this started up: we're all busy. I mean, maybe not as busy as I am, but."

Pepper Potts has posed:
Not quite as large, even in life, is the seemingly always present Pepper Potts in business suit, sensible pumps, and her hair back in a ponytail as a concession for working out of the office proper. As each comes in, and is seated, they'll find a small Stark tablet in front of their seat, along with a stylized stylus. Each pad has notes loaded in the form of a powerpoint presentation.

As each arrives, whether the PA has met them in person or not, they are greeted by name, and a smile.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna was there as a representative not only of the X-men but also for Genosha. Considering that it was her father and a good number of her people that were locked in a second bottle, she felt duty bound to attend. She wore simple grey slacks and a purple button down shirt. She'd gotten there fairly early, as she didn't have much to contribute to the discussion.. but certainly would be taking notes.

A half forgotten cup of coffee sat on a table near her as she sat, typing away something on her own personal tablet she'd brought, answering emails and the alike as she waited. The other Stark tablet, sat beside her, flicked on and ready to scroll through notes as needed.

A degree in geophysics did lend well to understanding the general gist of things.. but not much more beyond a surface level of understanding.

Gar Logan has posed:
Gar Logan mills about, in costume, having helped himself to a nice plate of food before taking up a seat. He was vetted, checked, cleared, all that. Not too many people would go around faking the green skin, but not even a fake could change forms the way he can.

"So I'll let everyone know up front..I'm not a big science dude. I can do other stuff to help, and a lot of us Titans have already been trying to, but I'm mostly just gonna enjoy this food, try to follow along, and not say much."

He pauses and adds quickly, "Please don't clap. Oh, and I was thinking about bringing some autographed pictures for everybody as a way to break the ice, but I..uh, ran out. Yeah."

Often, when Beast Boy is feeling some stress, he tries to joke around. This might be one of those times.

Shuri has posed:
Stepping into the place after passing through screening, Shuri shakes her head as she walks in and looks around, "So, we are here to try to return the cities back to their normal size? I'm assuming we are focusing on what belongs on Earth but have we made a call on anything else we've recovered?" She looks to Tony and then around at the room, "We can't just leave all the cities tiny forever. There are likely other species from destroyed worlds living in there."

Shuri, for her part, is dressed in her typical casual outfit which still has a flare of her African upbrining in it. She looks around at some of the equipment, seeming to scan it with her eyes, looking at each piece and hmming as she casually tries to discern how each piece works and if it is interesting enough to hold her attention for longer than a minute.

Hal Jordan has posed:
The Green Lantern is here as Green Lantern...a test pilot has no business being in a science meeting. A galactic cop, though, does. The Lantern is here because, well, Brainiac had plenty of alien cities on his ship, and all the ones he knew about were rescued. If they can bring Mutant Town back, he can hopefully use whatever technology they're using to bring the alien cities back on their proper planets...or on a new planet if it's blown up, as in the case of the city of Kandor.

Samuel Morgan has posed:
It's a location with purpose, that much is for certain. The symbology of 'neutral ground' isn't lost on Techno as he walks in, having paid his respects to the shrine not too far from where Mutant Town once stood... and where, so the Titan has pledged, it will stand again. It's all different now that they know for a fact that the people on the memorial aren't dead, and have a chance of being reunited with their loved ones.

    I mean, no pressure, right?

At the entrance, Techno submits patiently to being searched and scanned. His hoodie and capacious cargo slacks could hold an array of surprises, but his pockets are bare except for personal electronics. So in he strolls, looking slightly distracted, flanked by a friendly looking German Shepherd in a hi-vi jacket.

Which is when he has to, inevitably, let some people in on a secret.

Because last time he met Tony and Pepper, he wasn't yet Techno of the Titans, he was plain old Sam Morgan. He still wears the RFID bracelet glowing a bright green, a sign that he still has free access to the Stark Expo, proof positive that he was there when it was opened. In fact, Tony might remember him as 'Thorium Palladium', after that very awkward first meeting at Happy Harbor. Shuri will know him from that awkward tour he gave her of the school.

Lorna... might recognise the newer Titan as the trainee that was at Genosha shortly after the attack, with the SHIELD relief force.

    Skeletons? They rattle.

For now, he helps himself to a seat, sitting down wearily, immediately flanked by Bear, his assistance dog, to mark personal space. For someone who had been in a clinical coma just yesterday, he was looking pretty good. For all other metrics, he's really not.

"It's possible. Preliminary data shows that reversing the process is not just possible, it's feasible."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia arrived with the Titans, whom she has practically been living with since Brainiac's attack. One might even guess she's one of them now.

Since arriving she has been wandering around examining the various pieces of technology that Tony has assembled with wide starry eyed curiousity, as well as the occasional starry eyed peek in Tony's direction, though it doesn't seem to be the time for autographs.

When things are called to order the young Waspette finds a place to stand among the other Titans. A glance is given to Techno when he pipes up before she adds, "It's not just feasible, Dr. Banner and I did it. We helped SHIELD restore some survivors before Brainiacs return, but the energy requirements were immense. We nearly blacked out all of New York. That pair of brown outs recently? That was us, sorry. Anyway we brought back some of the tech Brainiac used to do this in the first place from his ship and after getting the rest of it from Illyana, who is really cool, we've been assembling it back into one piece at the tower. Of course there's still issues of softcode, operating systems, calibration, testing, but if we can deal with all of that and mount the arrays on a large enough Aircraft, the process can definitely be reversed." she seems rather confident of this.

Rachel Roth has posed:
Standing at one side of the room- her entrance having been... Altogether silent, as far as these things go, is Raven. Definitely not the scientific type, clad in this thick, hooded sweater emblazed in a motif of her signature bird. Both hands are in the pockets. The hood, is up. This is a room full of people she's never met, a cadre of strangers all assembled for the common purpose of assisting a giant amount of people whom have been... Minimized. Like a browser window.

It has been an unsettling element for Raven, near enough to more than one city of terrified, shrunken people, each emotion of terror and uncertainty felt by its denizens like a howling on the wind, something one such as her has trouble ignoring. Most of the time, she'd leave problems like this to the more scientifically eloquent, but the shrieking emotional turmoil of so many souls is something she cannot abide. Whether the others could accept a mystical solution or not is a debate she doesn't care to have- she's here to help. They'll have to deal with that.

Dazzling purple eyes seem to stare off into the nothingness for a time, as if she is appraising the mysteries of the universe, or fending off a foe that doesn't exist on this so-very-limited plane. Then, without warning, she speaks- a creepy, dreary monotone lighting into the room as soon as Gar was done.

"He did not run out. He forgot them. They are on the coffee table back at the tower."

Carol Danvers has posed:
Carol arrives, I mean is she here representing SHIELD, the Avengers, The JLA, or just an interested party. Probably SHIELD but who really knows. She will give the security people and any tech drones who want to scan a bemused expression. It isn't like she is carrying any weapons and the technology she is packing, well it isn't going anywhere but in with her.

Still they are just doing their jobs or assignemnts so no worries.

Once she gets inside she will join everyone that is gathering, heading to one of the chairs and settling in to sit comfortably with a good view of everyone else in the room. "Don't seem to be late for once, this is great." she notes cheerfully. A slight jab at her habit of being late as it were all the time because well like Tony said a lot of the people here can relate to being busy right.

Towards Shuri "We definitely won't be leaving any of the cities of civilizations small. Honestly we do not want to restore them in earth or near earth space and while they are re-establishing themselves we do not want any of the big players to know where they are either because there are a lot of people out there who would take advantage... to put it mildly."

Donna Troy has posed:
Accompanying (and to some degree herding) the Titans invasion is Donna Troy. She is pure anachronism in this talk of science and room full of gear, wearing armor that looks like something out of Homer (not really - it's an extraordinary high grade of steel rather than bronze, for one thing), with a shield on her back. For the sake of diplomacy she has forgone wearing her sword, but a lasso sits coiled at her belt.

She takes her seat amongst the assembled group of Titans, picks up the tablet, and glances at it, scrolling a little through the presentation before putting it down again. "So, we're the Titans," she announces, because it seems like actual introductions are a good idea. "I am Troia of Themyscira." She gestures to those in the Titans party one at a time. "Raven is our specialist in sorcery. Techno representing our science team, and is our mutant affairs spokesperson. Nadia Pym has been working closely with us on cracking the re-enlargement code. Beast Boy is here to make sure the food all gets eaten."

"Cards on the table. We have Brainiac's shrink/grow ray projectors. We have the software required to run that hardware. We are working on calibrating it, and as Techno and Nadia have suggested, we are confident we are close to having it cracked. We are currently storing the bottles containing Bushwick and parts of Genosha in a heavily secured location, handed into our care by Illyana Rasputina of the X-Men, who recovered them from Brainiac's ship. We have several other bottles with unknown contents, but we intend on prioritizing the Earth-based cities; the others present significant additional challenges. We are going to require a very large air platform to mount the projector, and we are going to need an absolutely huge energy source. Any questions?"

Hank Pym has posed:
A lab tech who was checking equipment in in the far corner of the lab steps forward now rubbing a hand through his unruly blond hair. He speaks a little hesitantly. The badge on his pocket reads H. Pym.

"Hello, I'm sorry I was detained for this crisis. The results and analyses are all first rate. Now this may be hypocritical f me, given my past history, but, I have to caution us against moving too fast on this. While I sympathize with these poor people and of all people I can understand how daunting an uncontrolled resizing is, they are in no immediate danger. There are several ways resizing can work. Pym Particle use is one. Using incompatible techniques could be injurious at best and disintegration at worst. I would recommend a detailed analysis of the enlarge items over the course of 48 hours. However, as I said, the results and analyses are very encouraging. As for the energy problems... We could resize a couple of generators or even storage cells, and rig up a power beaming apparatus to feed energy to the aircraft. We should have enough Pym particles for that. How big an arc reactor would we need, Tony?

Gar Logan has posed:
Gar Logan's green skin begins to turn ever so faint a shade of red in the cheeks, following Raven's...correction. "Oh, is /that/ what happened to them? Hahaha..haha.....ha. With everything that's been going on, I can be so forgetful sometimes!"

Proving Donna right at least in part, he's already worked his way through about half the plate before any rounds of introductions are made, but it appears the rest will wait for a spell. After Raven's words, he turns into a box turtle, resting atop the table as he draws his head and limbs within the shell, peering through the small gap as he listens to people much more intelligent getting into the nitty-gritty.

Tony Stark has posed:
"That's fine; you can help in other ways, like Captain America does. Increasing morale, and occasionally pushing a button," Tony teases Gar Logan smoothly with a friendly flash of companionable smile. Tony's larger than life to many people, but does well to relax others, much of the time. A charisma thing.

"Hi Shuri," Tony greets Shuri as well. "We're starting with Mutant Town, but there are plans to get to the rest of the bottles as well. Many of them were shrunk in varying ways, so we're starting with the one where we actually have the zone prepared - excuse me, mostly prepared - to accept the city back where it was. We'll learn a lot from this one, and ideally, that'll help with the next cities: including those on other worlds. The Justice League's here to take point on finding places for the alien cities, with Captain Marvel, yes?" Tony asks, orienting towards Hal and Carol with a snap-point.

"Right, not just feasible," Tony smiles briefly to Samuel Morgan, expression extremely confident. "But we're all here to make it reality." Tony stands at the head of the table naturally, putting his tablet down for the moment there.

--

"Okay, Troia; great to get your update. There are three major pieces here, and a lot of us need to connect on them; good to know how far you've already gotten." Tony brings up some visuals on the tablets. "First: The city itself - preparing it and the requirements of resizing it and the logistics of the footprint of where it will be. Troia's said Titans are very far on that one; Dr. Pym should be top resource for you there. Second, the device and how it will be powered as just mentioned. Sounds like power, and mounting, which I can do a lot for - possibly with Shuri?-- And third - the aftermath of caring for the people that return. Families need to be contacted on our side. They need to be reunited with their families in a safe place, because Mutant Town will be dangerous, possibly without power or other issues. They might be starving or need immediate care - we have to be ready. It's not JUST a town we're saving: it's our people, after all. We can't just plop it back down and call it a day."

"Sounds like the Titans are just about there, but we need some share to happen, so that the alien cities can be worked by other groups. I'd like to be in the same room as the device, for powering it and determining a mount. It's deep in your tower, then?" Tony asks.

Pepper Potts has posed:
Pepper's made certain that she'd greeted all that came through the door; all the Titans, each guest, and all by name, whether or not they'd been properly introduced. Once all are seated, standing, whathaveyou, her attention flickers between her employer and those gathered. Some, her attention lingers for a heartbeat or so after they speak, but for the most part, she's watching the presentation to be sure all goes smoothly.

It's that third bit that is right up Pepper's alley, as it were. She's already got things in motion, and she steps forward from where she was standing, back behind Tony.

"If you check your tablets, and you can do that later, I've outline all the resources that have been contacted through the Emergency Management channels. Red Cross, Red Crescent, blood banks are on alert, the local hospitals. We have shelters out past the boroughs that are willing to help any displaced, and the hotels in the area are ready to take family members that may be coming in from out of town." The PAs tones are clear, businesslike, and professional. "We don't know what it will be like, so we do have resources for worst case scenarios."

Shuri has posed:
A glance over at Carol and Shuri hmms, "I'd like to be involved in that. An alien relocation program and you want them to be hidden? I can offer ways to keep a place well hidden." She nods her head, "Could easily give those people a chance to rebuild their civilizations in secret."

"It's not simply about getting it back to size. It's about getting it back to size precisely, minimizing damage to it and the surrounding area, not to mention making sure it is hooked back up to the city grid." She nods her head, "A floating platform though." Shuri looks over at Tony and then the others, "Why not just ask SHIELD?" She shrugs and looks around briefly.

"I mean, we literaly fought Brainiac from a floating platform." She nods her head, "As for a power source." She looks to Tony with a smile, "Now that, I can certainly help with." She nods her head. She takes a tablet and leans back in a seat, casually touching it to her beads on her wrist before putting it back to the table and casually bringing up a 3D hardlight screen from her beads and starts scanning things.

Hal Jordan has posed:
Green Lantern considers what Shuri says, and adds, "Well, that depends on the city. For those planets that are not destroyed, I'll have to transport those cities back to the planet they came from before I put them back. On the other hand...some of the planets these cities come from are destroyed...and that gives me a whole other set of problems. I don't suppose any of you guys developed a way to communicate with the people inside the cities? Cause that'd be helpful for asking the residents where they want to be placed."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna paused in typing on her tablet, glancing up to offer Carol a smile and a nod, as she listened to the various discussions going on around the room. Finally, she cleared her throat. "I don't know how much it will impact the ability to resize Genosha, but it wasn't just one chunk. There are several in both Hammer Bay and Carrion Cove that were taken. I don't know if they were all pushed into one bottle or what, but I would imagine that it's not as simple as putting back Mutant Town, which is one piece?" She arched a brow and glanced around.

"Furthermore there's six months worth to debris, and ruins that have been blown or fell into the sites that were taken, and will take time to clear. We've barely scratched getting land reclaimed in Hammer Bay as it stands."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"Dad remind me to give you my notes later from resising the bus." Nadia says looking at the man whose labcoat reads H. Pym. "I used Pym Particles and the experimental tech I made for gauntlets to do it, while Dr. Banner manipulated the power supply. But like I said Pym Particles alone needed far more energy than this alien tech to be effective on a single bus. There is a lot we can learn from this recovered equipment but first we need to help these people and using the alien tech is the quickest route to that. Pym effects on the generators though, of course, why didn't I think of that!" It's almost eerie how similar their scientific ramblings are.

She looks over towards Tony Stark brimming with confidence, "It is in the Laboratories of Titans Tower. If there is any problem with your visiting, I could in theory reduce the entire thing and bring it to visit you." Fangirling over Tony's brilliant mind can wait, she is in full problem solving mode.

She looks back to Labtech Pym, "We should also enter Mutant Town and check on things, all the cities really. But Mutant Town first to make sure they're okay, get supplies in, and let them know what's going on while we are working on this."

Carol Danvers has posed:
"Shuri is right, we could probably use the Helicarrier as the platform to mount the technology, though nothing SHIELD has could probably pump enough juice for it. That does seem more in Stark's world or yours." a nod to Shuri.

She considers the other bit. "I'm good with working with you and the Lanterns on the relocation program off planet for the alien civilizations. Green Lantern has a really good point. I think we can probably use a sufficiently skilled psychic to communicate telepathically... maybe... with the people in the city GL."

"But even if we do have the option of original planet.. well we will need to work on hiding them and then protecting them. This seems a very green lantern thing even if Shuri can help with the technology to hide them."

Because no, Carol isn't volunteering to be space cop in those far flung sectors. She plans to stay and protect earth, her home.

"Seriously though first we need to put Mutant Town back... then help Lorna if she asks for it on prepping the sites in Genosha. Hopefully it doesnn't sound harsh but lets get our house in order before talking the alien planets?"

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Scrolling through the presentation, mentally, Sam makes occasional annotations, focused almost entirely on the work at hand, although he always has time for a glance and a smile at his fellow Titans. These days he does a lot of smiling, a lot more than ever before. He'll end up almost jolly if this goes on. The world may not be ready for that.

First and foremost, he gives Pepper a grateful glance. "Thank you, that was one of my main concerns. These people have been without any basic amenities for weeks, and the spririt of Bushwick has always been great, I'm sure the people are looking after each other, but they're going to need help after this. It sounds like you've got this covered." And that's one worry he can offload on someone else, that's a few straws off the camel's back. "And let's not forget that these are people who are used to being forgotten or otherwise ignored, persecuted even. Sounds like they'll have the best care possible."

    Tick that off the list.

Next he nods over to Shuri, clarifying a point. "Far as we can tell..." 'We' might be the royal we, or this is by consensus of the Titan's full science team "... the position of the emitter is going to matter quite a bit. It looks like the position Brainiac chose to abduct the cities from was precisely calculated, and putting them back is going to require the emitter to be in the same position it was in while we reverse the process. Fine, that in itself is just a matter of spectrometry, but the angle of the beam also needs to be precise. Very precise."

At that, he puts down the tablet and rubs his eyes with the finger of his right hand, squinting for a few moments. "I'm confident that we can put Bushwick back to within one Angstrom. I'd have preferred one Planck, but it's going to have to be good enough for government work. No doubt Professor Pym can do it better, but we're not talking about one object, we're talking about many objects in constant motion. The positioning of the ... the platform, or the plane, or the ship... it's going to have to be exact. And we need a pilot that can keep it there."

Now, he reaches into his pocket and comes out with three small marble sized spheres, rolling them onto the table into a rough triangle, at which point they light up and become a composite holographic projector, showing a graph regarding power use. "I've managed to reverse engineer Brainiac's code, thanks to some recent inspiration I got while working on a completely different dimension breaching project..." a glance over to H. Pym, but a brief one, before his attention goes back to the projection. "... and my current back of the envelope calculation shows we're going to need, roughly... call it the entire output of a tristate area for about half an hour."

A shrug. "It's alien tech, don't ask me to make it more energy efficient."

Gar Logan has posed:
"I can definitely push buttons," Beast Boy says, voice still audible from just inside the shell. "And I don't know how much help I can be otherwise, but I can get really small if I need to. I do it all the time when I have to avoid Raven."

Shuri is paid closer attention to. Shuri and her beads. "That's cool," deems the green turtle Titan, his head starting to appear again beyond the shell. "But seriously..I want to help. We all do." Crawling toward his plate again, he begins to munch without shifting back.

Rachel Roth has posed:
Stepping forward, Raven considers what she can offer to the discussion at present. There is a twisting to her features. She seems to be lost in thought for a short time, as before, before she speaks up. "These methods are all hopeful. It is likely that they will be as effective as we need them to be. I do not mean to state that they are not worth the time, but," she begins, slipping her delicate hands finally out of her pockets.

"We should face the possibility that these methods might fail. It would be prudent, then, that we have a fallback, should even one aspect of enlarging these cities full of his victims prove to be... Deleterious. I do not have an exact method yet, but there are some possibilities that we can explore." She pauses, then, looking to the others, and then momentarily to Lorna specifically.

"At the very least, for the moment, contact is possible, in something akin to person. To coordinate, and create hope, so that the effect that this process has on the psyches involved is as small as possible. Likely, many of these cultures are out of our grasp, unless we have a form of universal translator. I don't know if it can be done for everyone, but if anyone has anyone that they would like, or that they need, to contact... It can be done."

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna slides a thumb drive across the table to Tony. "That contains the specifications for a mount and power-couplings for the projector array. We didn't exactly have time to dismantle the thing perfectly while the ship was going down, so we're fabricating a matching mount on our end. If you wish to 'be in the same room as the device'..." She glances quickly in Nadia's direction. "That can be arranged. Come to the tower and we'll show you our work. "

"However I would like to point out that there are significant issues with this equipment," Donna continues. "Frankly it's dangerous as hell, and nobody should have independent access to it. Nobody should have access to it at all, but we need it for restoring the cities. The fewer people who have access to this hardware, the better. If we can keep the process of turning it functional again as compartmentalized as possible, that would be ideal. In short, we don't poke around with your power routing solutions any more than necessary, you don't poke around in the projection beam technology any more than necessary. And when we've restored all the cities, it may be the best option is to destroy the projector."

There's a small nod in Lorna's direction. "There are multiple bottles containing parts of Genosha. It's certainly going to be a more complicated, and possibly less precise process. We'll learn a lot about how this works from the resizing of Bushwick, and hopefully that data will give us a better insight into the solutions for restoring your country as cleanly and safely as possible.

Another nod to Hal. "The method of communication Raven has described is probably our best bet with the alien cities, too. There will of course be a language barrier, and the issue of determining where would be a safe and biologically compatible location for them. No doubt you or Captain Marvel would be best to take the lead on that. "

Hal Jordan has posed:
When Rachel mentions universal translater, Green Lantern raises a hand. "That'd be my part of the job. The Ring is designed to translate every single language there is...because we're basically space cops and have to be able to talk to literally anyone and anything. You're not wrong to say that alien cultures are just...incomprehensible. Even alien cultures in the same space sector are incomprehensible. It's fortunate that the ring is basically programmed to help me through all that, or I'd offend 10 beings saying hi. I'm almost not exaggerating." With a wry look and a headshake, "You'd be surprised how many ettiquette protocols this thing beeps at me when I'm on another planet. ...and I need every last one of them."

Pepper Potts has posed:
Pepper steps forward to the table, and with a tight but polite smile, leans over to take the thumb drive for Tony. Holding it lightly in a couple of fingers, Pepper takes the steps backwards in order to present it, a quick look given to her boss.

It's the acknowledgment from Sam that gains a nod from the PA, and she offers a supportive smile. She's got the infrastructure taken care of, though it'll be a big job!

Shuri has posed:
A look over at Gar and she arches an eyebrow before saying, "I could say that being able to turn into a turtle is pretty cool, too." She states and nods her head even as she looks back at the screen. She considers Samuel's words even as she watches the screen. She listens to Rachel as well, hmming softly to herself as she types and then she looks over at Rachel briefly before looking to the others, "We should always take the chance that some of these people in a bottle aren't good." She states simply enough, "At least by our cultural standards." She nods her head.

She then looks to Nadia briefly and then she looks back at her screen, "Sounds like we have all we need." She nods her head as she looks at the screen and touches something to close it and then shrugs, "Well, given time to create the right power source." She looks to Stark, "Tony, I suppose you and I should put some work on that."

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym has been pondering several tacks. "Why are we worried out cities. In the case of Bushwick at least it might be easier to enlarge the people and simply rebuild the neighborhood. As for the other cities we would enlarge sentients and equipment they would need to rebuild. It would reduce energy costs enormously."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"Unknown variables." Is Sam's reply to Hank, leaning back in his chair and rubbing a hand over his face again. "Is there any Methyltheobromine around? I could use a refill." From context for the non-science types, he probably means coffee, or at least caffeine.

"The technology was used to reduce the entire city block, people, buildings, pets, everything. I'd imagine that trying to isolate a single part of that process, and reversing it, is going to be more dangerous to the people than simply reversing all of it. As you said yourself, an uncontrolled resizing could be incredibly dangerous."

Tony Stark has posed:
"It's okay; they can ask /me/ to make it more energy efficient," Tony Stark teases Samuel a little bit.

"I have an idea about not requiring a flying platform, though. I don't think it's required, with a bit of ...somewhat crazy thinking. I'd rather relay the beam through something that's mobile, preferably in steady orbit. It isn't far off from something else, ha ha, that I've relayed before off a drone. But I'll need what you've got to see if that'll work," Tony suggests, interested in the tech puzzle, tapping on the table a little in Samuel Morgan's direction. "Or at least all the scans from the device. I don't think it's ideal to build some monstrous flying station."

Tony considers Donna's comments. "While I appreciate your concerns about the security of the device, I don't want to build a power supply blind either. I want to know exactly what it needs. Like building a database for a mystery thing that ends up being Dinosaur DNA; better to know the needs and requirements in entirety. Lacking that is asking for a different problem," Tony grins. Like crazy dinosaurs.

"So with that in mind... Shuri, head over to Titan Tower, okay, to focus on power needs. I'll start on the relay, and we'll cross our streams." .... "Safely."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna arched a brow upward, but didn't interrupt as she was informed there were multiple bottles she typed away on her tablet, taking note. She hmm'ed and pursed her lips together in concern though as talk shifted about. "You mean to say people like my father are hardly what anyone would consider 'good' by most measures. You'll be releasing Magneto into the world at large, after humans built Sentinels that decimated our people. He's been left in there for near six months.. And the rest of Genosha is a smoking ruin." She exhaled a breath.

"Despite help from several very generous countries, and select individuals, the world at large doesn't care about Mutants. And I would argue that in restoring Mutant Town and Genosha, we're going to be seeing blow back from people that think the world is better off without us."

Pepper Potts has posed:
"The Emergency Management system says otherwise for the moment, Ms Dane," Pepper offers politely. "As of right now, there are several relief organizations ready and waiting, including volunteers, for the mobilization order. If we take this quickly, no one will have time to sit and wonder why we're spending so many resources on mutants." There's a moment when she pauses for a heartbeat, and palms the flashdrive for later. "It will be a little more difficult to complain when Mr. Stark is one of the key factors in the relief efforts."

Gar Logan has posed:
Gar Logan says, "And that's just the start of it!" After eating so, so very slowly, the turtle shifts instead into a housecat-sized shorthair feline, tail flicking a few times before curling around a hind leg as he sits there grooming. "I can even get away with licking myself in public," he quips, offering afterward, "Shuri, if you need an escort I'd be happy to show you around. I know how to be a purrrrfect host."

And, apparently the autographed publicity photos are still on the coffee table! Bonus! Padding over to his own tablet on the tabletop, he paws at it in his current form, getting it to work with a little trial and error. Out of nowhere, he tells Sam, "Mesopotamia? Dude, that's so ancient history now." He adds to Lorna, "Maybe you're right, but as someone who's already different from the norm, bringing everything - and everyone - back is the right thing to do. I dig the hair, by the way."

Caitlin Fairchild has posed:
Caitlin Fairchild's deep in her notes; the redhead was going over the combined data from Stark Industries and the Pym side of the house, given her personal connection to both.

"I want to back Dr. Pym's idea," she chimes in from the back of the room. There aren't a lot of chairs for her; she elects to stand, and wearing a knee-length pencil skirt and a white blouse, she's dressed more like the professional scientist she is at Stark Industries rather than a Titan doing a house call.

"We're talking about trying to restore hundreds of millions of tons of material, at a consistent rate, and do so within a pretty close margin of error to where the two cities were originally. Even if we nail it to within five points of 100%, we're still going to need to do millions of dollars of repair work. The cities aren't going to be inhabitable, not without power, water, and other facilities hooked up."

"On the other hand, retrieving *individuals* could be a lot easier. We'd need to set up a sort of processing portal. Maybe a combination of a Pym field and a teleportation device. We can retrieve the individuals first, then figure out what to do with the cities later. Worst case if we screw up the bulk re-enlarging, we've at least got all the raw materials in one spot."

Carol Danvers has posed:
"Well don't discount the hellicarrier Tony... I mean I am curious what your crazy thinking has in mind." yeah she is teasing him lightly there. I mean Tony usually comes through in the clutch moment with crazy thinking. Sometimes though as far as she can tell it also involves blowing the side of a building off right.

"Sometimes straight forward can be good."

She looks to Hal and nods. "I am pretty sure we can figure out the whole alien civilizations thing with some proper thought and being abble to communicate with the cities." a glance to Donna and Raven there.

She glances to Lorna "Well they can do whatver Blowback they want to do.... we are helping Genosha and Mutant Town and they can talk a walk into the Sea if they have a prolem with it."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Is that momentary disappoint on Nadia's face when Tony Stark isn't coming to Titan's Tower to see her work after all? Maybe, but it's only there for a split second and it's gone.

Looking to Hank, Nadia considers his words for a moment, "That's an interesting idea Dad, though at their current size they may be experiencing a form of Quantum Entanglement that could make that hazardous. We really could use some in person readings in Mutant Town to get a better idea, though that shouldn't be too difficult to do."

Nadia's attention then turns to regard the young woman Tony Stark has elected to send in his stead, curiousity dancing in her eyes.

Shuri has posed:
Looking over at Gar, she rolls her eyes, "I'm sure you will be just fine in showing me around." She chuckles at him and looks to Tony, "I'm more than happy to go work on that power source." She nods her head and smirks at him, "Just make sure that you send me some info on your relay." She nods her head, "I don't want to make things incompatible." She then tursn her gaze to Caitlin and hmms, "And that's why we have to do this 100%, no less." Shuri stands up and idly stretches her arms above her head, "Given we have established all of our roles, I'm going to head back to the embassy and get what I need."

She looks to the Titans in the room and hmms, "I'll have my people reach out to you and we can set up a time that I can come look at what is available. If I must bring a mobile lab that fits my needs, I will."

Donna Troy has posed:
"Easier perhaps Mr. Pym," Donna replies, "But an inferior solution. As best as we can tell, the captured cities are in at least a reasonably good state. While enlarging them presents a major logistical problem, the costs are unlikely to be as high as the material cost of rebuilding alone. These are significant chunks of real estate."

"More importantly there are psychological implications. These people have lived through a nightmare already. To render them homeless with the vague promise of rebuilding would be cruel. They need something familiar. They need their homes. However we should consider the possibility that we simply /can't/ restore the cities, so perhaps you and Doctor Fairchild could crunch some numbers and work on the logistics of that. It may prove safer to evacuate the people and then attempt the buildings."

"Relaying sounds like a great idea if it can be made to work, Mr. Stark," she says, pushing her chair back a little. We'll give you the access you need to figure out your end of the deal. However the projector will stay at Titans tower, and whoever you send to work on it can work with our science team. " It's a diplomatic answer, but it's obvious that 'work with' means 'being supervised by', and the words 'non-negotiable seem to hang in the air.

"Mz Dane," Donna says, sliding an extra plate of snacks in the direction of the green feline, in the hopes of keeping him occupied. "I'm with Captain Marvel on this one. We're helping the people in the bottles, and it's as simple as that. Healing the world of its ignorance is a longer-term program. However as to the question of Magneto - I hope you'll come along to the Tower and we'll see if we can get you in contact with him to explain to him what has happened, and what is /going/ to happen. It might be a good idea to not give him any sudden surprises given all that has occurred so far."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"Quite frankly, anyone who doesn't want Bushwick, " And Sam has avoided calling it 'Mutant Town' all through this conversation " to be returned can talk to my titanium clad knuckles." That's by the by, he goes back to the topic at hand.

For a second there he flounders, blinking a few times before formulating a response, and finally deciding that, what the hey, he's a Titan now, he doesn't have to be tongue tied around Tony Stark. Right. So. Tongue... stop being tied. It takes Bear noticing this conundrum and placing his head on the teen's lap before Sam snaps out of it, and collects his projector. "Well, I'm on board with crazy. It's worked for me more times than not, so if you send me the specs of your idea, I can at least validate if it's within the realms of possibility. As for the device, all the data and scans I make of it are going to have to be hand delivered." Paranoid much? Still, he looks at the room at large.

"I'm going to have to side with the voices of caution here. This tech cannot be allowed to exist after this. For one, I'm pretty sure it breaches copyright..." a smile towards Hank and Nadia on that one. "... and for another, I don't want it to be used ever again as a weapon. Which it will if it's allowed to exist. So, all data regarding the device, how it operates, how it's built, how it's powered, it's going to be compartmentalised heavily. Heavily. And when this is done, it's getting destroyed."

A smile towards Tony. "Unless you can make it really energy efficient and end up solving world hunger or something."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna exhaled a breath, the people there were allies and heroes and were there to help. Hard to remember when talk was over her head regarding the chance of failure, and what options there were or weren't for getting the cities back in order. She pursed her lips together briefly. A glance Gar and she blinked, surprised, "Uhm.. thanks." That was new.

"I appreciate the support in helping my people from everyone here, I really do. But it's my family in the bottles in Genosha. My people. My country. There are millions of people in those bottles. Genosha had sixteen million mutants and humans prior to the attack. Right now, we have no way to house or take care of them on Genosha. And if we want to restore them without having Magneto coming out ready to attack. I need to talk to him. I have access to my own telepaths and people perfectly capable of getting us into communications. I will //not// be visiting anywhere to speak with my own father." Her voice rose in pitch.

"I have a right to my people and their safe keeping."

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym spreads his hands and says, "There's no need to make threats, Techno. I was raised some questions and voiced some alternatives. Obviously I have come too late to the table. I appreciate being included but Nadia can do more for you and her knowledge make my input largely redundant and you have better things to do than bring me to speed and a lot of them and little time. Again I thank you for including me and am sure of your success. I'll stay informed. Excuse me." He steps back from the table and ponders the equipment on the other side of the lab.

Gar Logan has posed:
Gar Logan hops off the table and morphs from cat to dog, specifically a labrador retriever. "I can be very mobile, just so you know."

Sensing it might be one joke too much for the time and place, he goes back to normal and diverts most of his attention to the tablet soon in hand again. "Let's just, you know, do everything careful and as safe as possible. We're still talking about saving lives here, but I know we can do it and finish making things right again. Everything else is second to that." Eyes down. Be quiet.

Hal Jordan has posed:
Green Lantern has to disagree with Samuel there. "I agree that the schematics should not be kept...on Earth. We should, however, keep a copy of this sort of thing on Oa in case Braniac isn't all the way dead and does this sort of thing again...either here or on some far flung planet you've never heard of. We'll want to be able to restore shrunken cities with minimal fuss if we happen to be far, far away from any Earth based support."

Caitlin Fairchild has posed:
Caitlin nods at Donna's suggestion; when Hank selects Nadia as a proxy, the redhead flashes a smile at Nadia. It's hard not to like the enthusiastic younger Pym, who indeed has been making herself very useful in Titan's Tower. She makes a back-and-forth gesture to her, silently agreeing that the two of them can exchange notes on the topic. Shuri's lazy confidence in perfection lifts a brow, but Caitlin merely shrugs at the young woman indicating she doesn't wholly disagree. "No bad ideas in brainstorming, Shuri," she points out gently. "And it's prudent to plan for failure, too. C'mon by the Tower, you've got my number still, I think. We'll sit down with Nadia and see what we can work out. Like you said, anything less than perfect isn't gonna be acceptable," she agrees.

Tony Stark has posed:
Tony watches Donna a little bit. A lot of the resistance has clouded his expression a little, but his eyes remain sharp. "We both want the same outcome, here. I'm offering open cooperation, not a 'deal'. I don't make weapons anymore. I'm in the world-saving business. My end is open, hopefully you'll trust in return. But, we'll see how it all works, then," Tony grants, and moves off the topic smoothly. There's a slight soft spot in Tony over the suggestion he's going to make a weapon out of it.

"Won't know about the world hunger until I look at the full data," Tony teases Samuel, but lifts his hands. "Relay first, though. We /all/ can do our part." And he'll be entirely respectful and easygoing.

"All right. Sounds like for the most part everyone has a direction. I've got relays to start with. I suggest everyone break off into whoever they need to talk to, and we'll see how far we get as a group," Tony suggests, pausing, and then turning to head after the retreating scientist to speak to Pym.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia blinks a few times when her father announces he is leaving, "Wait no, don't..." But he's already gone. Despite his expressed confidence in her, something seems to trouble her about the exit.

She smiles at Caitlin though, bouncing back quickly and nods in agreement on comparing notes later. She watches the older girl talking to Shuri, who still remains a mystery to her, with familiarity.

"Do you know her?" she whispers to Caitlin when she comes back.

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna raises an eyebrow at Lorna's outburst, studying her for a few moments before speaking. "The bottled parts of Genosha were turned over to our safekeeping by Illyana Rasputina of the X-Men, who we met while infiltrating Brainiac's ship to recover... everything we could. We have it stored in a very safe place which is not likely to be considered a target by anti-mutant forces, protected by the most secure technology Wayne Industries and Star Labs can provide, with significant after-market enhancements of our own. There are extremely powerful magical wards. The guards include Amazons, a Kryptonian, a techopath, a speedster, several magic-users and...quite a few others. I honestly doubt there is anywhere safer."

"This is to protect them from anyone who might do them harm, not to keep them from you, or you from them. We're not making any kind of claim on Genosha or challenging your right, we are offering you our help. That's what we do. We have been working this problem pretty well for a while and believe we can offer you a safe and secure method of communication. We're inviting you in, not trying to keep you out. If you don't wish to take that offer and want to pursue your own avenues of communication, we're hardly going to try to stop you. If you think there is a better alternative to our care for your people, that's up to you."

Donna leans back, and gives Tony a slow nod. "As Techno said, we strongly believe this process should be as compartmentalized as possible. We're not doubting your motives, we are attempting to ensure that any exploitation of the combined work we do is impossible by any means. You will have our co-operation, but we will be doing what we can to guard against the possibility of anyone, /including/ ourselves, from having every single part of the puzzle."

Caitlin Fairchild has posed:
Caitlin leans sideways and downwards to mutter in Nadia's ear (hey it's like a 12" height differential!) and says, "That's Shuri. She's the Princess of Wakanda. Very, very good engineer, and a nice person t' boot," she informs the younger woman. "I'll make some formal introductions when we get together, don't worry. Once everyone's in the lab and we're doing real work, it'll all feel a lot more relaxed and fun, I promise." She pats Nadia's slender shoulder and gives it a gentle, reassuring squeeze.

Hal Jordan has posed:
Green Lantern again has to interject. "It's fine if the whole program doesn't exist on Earth. Really, it shouldn't. The technology Brainiac used to do this should never, ever be used on this planet. However...if Brainiac's not dead, and he shrinks a city on Altaris prime in sector 1563...this is 2814 by the way...that leaves the Lantern Corps trying to undo this without all of you geniuses helping. So...we, at least, need a way to undo Brainiac's wrong doing if he does it somewhere a few hundred million light years away."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna pushed her seat back, getting up and picking up the tablet. Her expression twisted with irritation. "Genosha is the only mutant country on this planet. It was one thing for them to be held by our own people, by mutants, like the X-men. I want my country and the bottles they're in. Call me temperamental, but I don't know you and to be frank, I'm not having a personal conversation with my father somewhere in front of strangers. Particularly when I attempt to stop him from possibly threatening to attack whoever he decides is responsible." Her voice was short and curt.

"You can return the bottles to the X-men or I will not be speaking to my father."

Donna Troy has posed:
Donna tilts her head as Lorna replies, then gives a small nod of her head. "Nobody said anything about having to talk in front of strangers. You could have entered the bottle, temporarily, and talked to him face to face. And Genosha may be the only mutant country on the planet, but the X-Men are not the only team to have members who are mutants. Perhaps you didn't know that." She very purposefully does not glance Sam's way.

She shrugs her shoulders lightly. "We're not holding anyone hostage and there are no need for ultimatums Mz. Dane," she says softly. "If you don't want the security we offer for your people, that's your choice. Your decision may impact our ability to accurately calculate the necessary projection protocol to restore the locations as cleanly and as safely for the trapped people as possible. You and the people of Genosha may regret the decision, but it's your decision to make, not ours. They will be returned if that's what you wish."
