Cast of Characters: Wallace Wolf, Albert Rothstein

Wallace Wolf has posed:
Wolf wasn't even fully open, Getting bikes out of Japan just took awhile sometimes. So whilst the sales floor was full of riding gear, KTMs and Ducatis it was lacking all of the Hondas it should really already have by this point. Still past the sprawling plate glass painted over with bright red wolves on the run, Things are pretty quiet. Not even a secretary yet, and well to the untrained eye the dealership might as well be closed.

To a mechanic though, well that just means the sales floor is closed. Round the back the garage doors are lifted, heavy metal blaring over the staccato song of ratchets and rubberized Mallets. Race bikes and a few street bikes are up on the lift, and a few heavily inked tough looking sorts toil busily. The exception to this is of course Wallace, because of course.

Neat tailored slacks and a matching vest, navy blue silk dress shirt and a bright red Pocket square and neck tie. Though he's got his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, he still looks every bit like his fashion sense stalled in the fifties because it kinda dead. Anywho he's fiddling with some scramblerized early GL1100, delicately working the heads on one side free with the most delicate of touches. Cigarette smoldering between his lips as he investigates his current mechanical mystery.

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein pulls up to the place in a 1970 Mercury Cougar, the engine sounds on point a well built machine for sure. He will park it out of the way of the doors, and climb out of the car. He just seems to continue to stand up, that guy is huge. He is wearing jeans and a tee with a metal skull on it with crossed pistons under it. He looks around a moment getting his bearings, and the the Mohawked mountain starts heading towards the bay area.

Wallace Wolf has posed:
Wallace isn't even the first to notice, it takes one of the other mechanics shouting to get his attention before peering down the drive. Casually he stands up, takes a minute with a rag and a pumice stick and then he's off. He slips out of the garage as casual as can be, pausing to chain up another smoke as Albert nears. "Howdy there pard, fraid we ain't exactly open just yet on account of delayed shipments. Unless ya'll here to pick up a customer bike, but I kinda reckon I'd recall a feller of your consequence ya'know?"Theres that easy grin, as he shakes out a smoke and offers one over to Albert.

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein shakes his head a bit to turn down the smoke "Thanks but don't smoke. Actually I was coming by to see if you might have a part, I am looking for. I'm building a ride for a friend and I need a coil pack for a Honda Hurricane. I have checked around and aint finding any leads on it, so thought I would come by and see if you might have one or have a lead for one. I'm Albert by the way."

Wallace Wolf has posed:
Theres a slow lean back to maintain eye contact, but well Wallace seems terribly unbothered by the apparent difference in scale at work here. Instead he just offers his hand. "A pleasure Albert, I'm Wallace Wolf. The proprietor of this fine establishment, and you say you're looking for an F1 coil pack?"Theres a pause there as he ponders, before finally nodding. "I think I can accomodate that one, if you don't mind a refurb unit. We just got it back from our guy, so everything should be up to snuff?"

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein nods his head a bit to this and says "Yea, I am mostly concerned with performance from the engine, I can flash up the rest of the bike once I know it aint going to leave them stranded." He willshake the hand giving a firm but not crushing shake, and yea Albert is a mechanic you can tell by the hands.

Wallace Wolf has posed:
"Well lets see what we got for you Albert, this way please."And well Wallace is off, leading back through the garage and through a back room full of a race bikes and track day weapons. Through a heavy steel door down a staircase into the basement and boom, part storage. Racks of pulled engines, transmissions, body work, swing arms. Racks stacked deep full of forks and shocks, stacks of wheels and tires and of course no shortage of frames hung from the ceiling. "Watch your head there pard, yeah? I apologize for things being a little cramped of course, we're still getting out system up and running after the big move."

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein chuckles and says "Yea am a bit used to having to watch my head." He say with a bit of mirth. He does look around the place as they go, and hmms softly looking at this or that, "You ever hire any part time help?" He will ask as they walk along. He keeps his hands to himself except to move a part hanging as he passes by putting it back.

Wallace Wolf has posed:
Wallace slips through the veritable cornicopia of motorcycle corpses. "Hasn't come up just yet, but then again we ain't even really opened up yet. Theres a bit of a crunch right now, but I didn't realize there were basically no race shops up here when we moved. So I stepped right into a boom, just gambler's luck I suppose."And down a row of electrical bits in their cardboard boxes, which is where Wallace draws to a stop. Tap-tap-tapping a foot as he peers about for a moment before snagging a box, after a cursory examination he offers the thing over. "We might be looking for some seasonal work in the future of course, you looking to pick up some hours there Pard?"

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein says, "I could always use a bit of extra cash, working as a part time sub teacher for a shop class right now, and doing some jobs to help friends. I normally am more larger engines, but I figured never hurts to have a few options out there. I rebuilt the Cougar out front from the floor up.""

Wallace Wolf has posed:
Theres a nod at that "Well I know how it goes Pard, I'll keep you mind yeah? Probably be December before I'm looking to pick up another hand, seasonal business stuff and all."Theres a little shrug there "Anyway coil should be good to go, but It's rebuilt so no promises. I paid fourty five for the rebuild, figure fifty five sounds like a fair price?"

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein nods, his head, and says "Want the cash here, or need to open up the register for it?" He will ask, He takes the part in one hand pulling out his wallet in the other one. "Saw you do custom bikes to, if any of your clients are looking at planes or copters and need a mechanic, tell them to give me a call."

Wallace Wolf has posed:
"Cash is fine, It'd be pretty difficult for me to steal from me you know?"Smirking as he pauses to chain up another cigarette, before focusing his attention on Albert. "I'll be happy to pass it around, though I'm not sure how much customer overlap we've got there."And a little shrug there as he snags an ashtray from -somewhere- to tuck his butt in.

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein nods, and pays the man and offers him a card with his number . "Probably not often but your bikes look like quality and quality bikes around here, I wager you will get some high rollers who want bikes from you once the word gets out.

Wallace Wolf has posed:
He takes the cash, and the card which he glances over before carefully tucking it into his vest pocket. "One can only hope, right? Anywho I'll let'cha go Albert, was a pleasure to meet you. I'll keep you in mind if we get a nasty surge, yeah?"And with that, he leads back up the way they came.
