Date of Scene: 31 July 2020
Location: Domino's Safehouse
Synopsis: Victor and Domino make plans related to Genosha.
Cast of Characters: Victor Creed, Neena Thurman

Victor Creed has posed:
"Domino," comes Creed's voice RIGHT THE HELL NEXT TO HER EAR.

"/Neena/. Stop pretendin' to sleep, I can hear y' breathing." Or being lazy, or napping, or whatever she's actually doing. Victor invites himself to sit down next to her hip, which may jostle a little, or at least make the surface she's laying on heave due to his mass and weight rocking it.

Victor is dressed just in jeans, and he's a little riled over something, his talons are out, which is making phone use a little dicey. The current phone is already cracked and there are deep gouges in the back of the case. Minor flaw of the feral 'thing'.

"I have some shit. Brotherhood shit," Creed says, a low growl in his undertone, though his voice speaks mostly of some interest, not irritation. Sounds like a mission.

Neena Thurman has posed:
Dammit...

Dammit...

She can't help but to scrunch her face with the force of the YELL in her ears, and pulling up the sheet so she can cover her face, she mutters, "'I breathe when I sleep, too, yanno..". As the sheet rises, bare feet peek out from the bottom.

She rolls over, the sheet more of a burrito form, ready to put the pillow over her head to try to keep out the bellowing form of Creed. She tries, but the weight keeps rolling her back, and finally, after a couple of tries, pushes the sheet back from her head, revealing an annoyed albino. "What the hell.."

She lies on her back, and the fact the feral Creed is trying to deal with the phone actually makes her laugh. It's the heightened level of frustration that brings the giggles... and she reaches for the phone. "And this is why you're only allowed a burner." If he thinks he'll //ever// get her phone?

Hell, no.

Sitting up, though, and she holds the sheet to her chest in that bit of redundant modesty, blue eyes narrow. Her interest is piqued. "What sort of shit is that? Good shit, bad shit.. or just run of the mill crap."

Victor Creed has posed:
"Push play," Creed answers instead, letting her have the phone without any argument at all. He brought it in her to listen to, anyway, so of course it should be into her possession. He doesn't leave, he stays there, with his eyes narrowing a little: those flecks of wild gold in the amber present. He needs to shave -- not that he will. Rugged scruff is sort of always present.

When she hits play on the audio clip, it sounds like a few people talking to each other, with a tinny sort of spacial feel: like this was a recording from an odd place. Probably a recording device they werne't aware of.

"We're all set," begins the recording.

"I can't believe he didn't just DIE, already," says another.

"It's as easy as crackin' a bottle," answers a third voice. "Think she'll be alone with them?"

"Nah, but we got the Negg with us."

"He'll nullify us, too."

"Just gotta crack it, so, it'll be brief...."

Neena Thurman has posed:
Domino looks at the phone and her finger lights upon the section of screen that isn't cracked, that'll take the input. The other hand keeps the sheet up, but her attention is certainly on the recording, once it begins to play. She's silent, her eyes narrowing, but not at anything now in the room, it's in concentration to see if she can recognize the voices through the recording.

She plays it once, then again.. and once more to seemingly commit it to memory. If she doesn't know the voice, she'll damned well will recognize it when spoken later. She doesn't play it the fourth time. Instead, she tosses it on the sheets between her legs.

"Negg.." Nullifiers? That's not a good sound.

"Where was the bug?" Clear blue eyes, deadly seriously now, look at her current partner in crime. "Where'd this come from?"

Victor Creed has posed:
During the various listenings, Creed got a little bored, and moved to settle near her hip, stretching his back languidly: certainly for all the world looking like a bored cat. Bored, but willing to nap for a little while, since he's warm and fed currently. And soon the entertainment will come. It comes in the form of her asking questions.

"Some Genosha contacts I didn't trust; paid somebody to plant that for me," Creed answers. "Turns out I invested WELL." He then lowers his head a bit, looking at her from up under his brows, devilishly. "Want to go to Genosha and /meddle/?" Creed asks, as if it would be great fun. "Pretty clear who they wanna kill, isn't it."

Neena Thurman has posed:
Once again, the bed dips down as Creed settles by her hip, and she shifts in order to //not// fall that way. Mumbling about giant outdoor cats, she catches the answer.

Dark brows on a pale face rise, and those clear blue eyes lighten. "Who trusts their contacts in Genosha anyway? I sure as hell don't." And that's where she gets the bulk of her contracts! Well, did anyway. She looks at the clawed up, discarded phone for a long moment before she looks beside her, the black-lipped smile growing slowly into something wider, itself a little feral with the thought of getting some action.

"Hell. Yes." On both counts.

Picking up the phone and moving it to the side, the albino merc slides out of the bed, the sheet dangling almost uselessly. "Lemme get dressed. Oh.. and as warning. Lorna's got something guarding the water, so we need to keep an eye out when we get there." Not like it'll be too hard for the likes of them. They know every port, ever ripple of water that hits those beaches like it's their JOB... because it is.

Victor Creed has posed:
"Fine, get ready," Creed answers as she gets up, partially rolling to take over the warm spot where she was - probably just to be a bit annoying. He also extends a hand to pick up the discarded phone, slipping it into a back pocket of his jeans. He'll wait there, eyes partially half-lidded, for her to be ready to go.

"Didn't plan to go swimmin'," adds the big mutant with a snicker. Still, good information to have! He actually doesn't stay, he rolls to his feet after a few moments, and moves towards her kitchen. "We should eat 'n go, if we're gonna make it. I like t' look 'round before an ambush." He's savoring the thought of an ambush.

Neena Thurman has posed:
Domino looks at Vic as he rolls into her spot before she exhales in a sigh. That's right.. he doesn't take //hints//, does he? She opens her mouth to say something, and closes it again, shaking her head with a chuffed breath. Forget it.

Time to get dressed. Underwear, leathers.. and it doesn't take long at all for her to finish. The final touches are her pistols and the various locations she sorts her knives before she offers the lopsided grin.

"Grab something to go, big guy. I wanna get out there too and get the lay of the land."

They're on their way to Genosha!
