Synopsis: Spidey meets yet ANOTHER Kryptonian during patrol.
Cast of Characters: Peter Parker, Jon Kent

Peter Parker has posed:
Another evening, another patrol, and sometimes you wish you could have a quiet night.

But you never do.
Spider-Man is doing his usual thing, webslinging along, keeping an eye out for the local wildlife. And in this urban jungle, the wildlife comes in very dangerous breeds.
Spidey actually subvocalizes as he spots something. "Oooh! And here we have two of the species Muggerus Alleya, currently open for business on a rather fragile member of Raverus Late-Nightica..."
He swings closer to the alley, pondering how he's going to swing this.

Pun DEFINITELY intended.

Jon Kent has posed:
A deep breath and then a carefully moderated sigh, he doesn't want to cause a freeze in this part of the city. Jon finds himself floating in a part of New York he's not exactly familiar with, but it's not totally alien as he had expected either.

The red blue and yellow color scheme is likely immediately recognized if this place is anything like home.

The half alien young man lowers himself to rest a boot on a rooftop as he takes a moment to find his cellphone to test something and then... "Whoa." He whispers watching a man in red and blue swing past and towards...

Just as Spider-man is landing near the alleyway, there's a red and blue blur appearing in a stop next to the wall crawler, "What's your plan?" Jon asks, arms crossed as he hovers, his cape flapping behind him gently in the breeze. New world, same problems and Jon will certainly help.

Peter Parker has posed:
Spider-Man turned...and blinked.

The symbol is the same. The color palette is the same. But this isn't Kara. Black hair, different costume, and oh, yeah, a GUY. And it's not Superman. It's...Jeez Louise, he's a teenager.

But he knows a little more than the average bear about the House of El, and that they tend to be pretty quick on the uptake. Maybe Kara told this guy about him...

Focus, Spider-Man. Citizen is in danger. The two muggers have guns, and they seem to be working themselves up by the raver's MDMA-dulled comprehension.

So, treat him like you would Kara, and see what happens.

"Well, original idea was for me to distract them on my own...but if you want to help out, you might be better for distraction." He points to the opposite end of the alley. "Fly in from that end, and get their attention. Act...well, act KRYPTONIAN. That should do it. I'll hit them while they're trying to figure it out."

Jon Kent has posed:
Jon's eyes are attentative towards Spider-man, respectful, new and completely open to suggestions. "Yes sir." Jon says with a quick salute before he lifts his jaw upwards and he zips up, then to the opposite end of the alley and then zips straight down and lands with a subtle clap of his boots on the pavement.

Jon does consider that the blue and red dressed hero knew of the Kyrptonians and by name, odd, but he'll wait and bide his time. Yeah. As he lands in the shadows and then takes a simple step forwards into the light, the red blue and yellow almost shine in the leds of the modern street lamps. His hands are by his sides, but moving in a subtle kind gesture. "Hey guys, maybe you can help me, I'm kinda lost and trying to find my way back to metropolis, could you help me?"

Peter Parker has posed:
As the two muggers turn, Spider-Man spared enough time to think, *Sir? Holy cow, I've been promoted.*

Jack and Dennis had thought this was going to be easy. They thought Spider-Man was going to be busy with the bank robbery, so who was going to bother them?

Problem was, this space case of a girl seemed to have her brain set to Cataclysmically Stoned, And Dennis was trying to get to her clutch purse when the new voice spoke up.
All three heads turned.
Jack: "What the...?!"
Dennis: "Uhm...uhm..."
And Angela, who looked over and said in a low, almost reverent voice, "Ohhh, WOW, it's SUPERMAN."
Dennis suddenly got behind the girl, holding the gun to her head. "Don't move, Superman! You move...and she GETS it!"
Jack backs up slowly, holding the gun on Jon. Like that'll help, really...

And then he's gone. Jon can see the webline strike Jack's upper back, can see the line tighten, and then Jack is gone, the dropped pistol the only sign of his presence as Jack is yanked up into the darkness.

"I thought you was in in Metropolis...hey...ain't you a little short for a Superman?" Angela asks in that same soft, awed voice.

Jon Kent has posed:
"I'm not Superman, but I understand the confusion." Jon says with a kindly smile, "I can help you meet him if you'd just, put the gun down. No one needs to get hur- Whoa." As Jack is sucked into the darkness and Jon has to take a breath at how creepy and cool that was.

Jon takes a step forward, hands out, carefully trying to calm the gunman. "Please, we're all just trying to get to the end of the day and end up in bed."

Peter Parker has posed:
Dennis is starting to panic. Pulse is racing, eyes dilated, and he has that look of Going to Do Something NOW NOW NOW rising in his face, and the gun is starting to shake slightly. "I'm WARNING YOU..." Dennis begins.

THWIPP!

Dennis blinks. His gun has turned into a webby boxing glove. He pulls the trigger, but the works are gummed up, and the hammer can only manage a feeble 'thup' against the firing pin, with nowhere near enough force to strike the cap.
"What...?" Dennis said, gaping at his hand.

Jon Kent has posed:
"What? That's you getting into trouble. I tried to help, but now..." Jon says with an almost defeated shrug. "He's got you." And with that Jon points upwards and smirks as he starts to casually walk forward towards Angela and offers her a kindly hand, like father taught him. "Come, I'll help you get home." He says, even before Dennis has been snatched away.

Peter Parker has posed:
Dennis tries to interfere, but a hand claps his left shoulder, and then he is webbed to the street. Spider-Man smirks.
Angela smiles, but the smile is still kinda...disconnected. She takes the hand and steps towards Jon, her eyes warm and alight with the chemical buzz currently firing off stray neurons. "You...you're even handsomer than the bigger Superman. I kinda want to kiss you now..."

Spidey snickers. "Better take her home, Su...hmm, what would you like me to call you, anyway?"

Jon Kent has posed:
"I know it's not super original but, Superboy suits me well." Jon says with a smile and another salute. "Um, thank you ma'am, but I'm afraid I must pass, I'm just going to get you home... as soon as you tell me where that is... and how to get there." Jon smiles and looks up to the wall-crawler, "And what do I call you? I'm not one to assume things, y'know. Makes a butt out of you and me." He smiles that winning smile and waits.

Peter Parker has posed:
Spider-Man bows. "I go by Spider-Man, respect the hyphen. Also go by Spidey, Webhead, and...well, other names, but none of them are suitable for polite company. I also go by Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, but good luck getting all THAT to fit on a business card." He looks to Angela. "Miss? Tell the decent hero where to drop you off."
Angela sighs, rattling off an address. "Can I get a selfie with you when we get there, then?"

Spidey gazes fondly at Superboy. "Ah, fame."
