Fun in the Sun
Date of Scene: 18 August 2020
Location: Long Island
Synopsis: Some time in the sun with She-Hulk.
Cast of Characters: Jennifer Walters, Amora

Jennifer Walters has posed:
One of the good things about summer is that the sun is almost constantly out, which makes sunbathing readily available. Which is exactly what She-Hulk, aka Jennifer Walters is doing. She's out on the beach in a purple bikini, lounging on a lounge chair placed on a blanket spread out on the beach. She's got some fashionable sunglasses on to shield her eyes against the glare of the sun, and a basket for lunch and drinks off to the side. She attracts some attention from passerbys not because she's kind of gorgeous (she is, tho) but because she's green, and nearly seven feet tall.

Amora has posed:
The inverse is sort of true, Amora draws attention almost exclusively because she is gorgeous, her nordic alabaster skin glistening with a shimmer of gold and her bikini is what is green. While she is not nearly 7 feet tall, Amora is a bit over the 6' mark. As she sashays her way along the beach, more than a few people seem to become extreme klutzes, tripping over each other, running onto onje another, getting hit by volley balls they suddenly were oblivious to, people wiping out as they surf, while she seems all the more graceful. Even an Asgardian Goddess, however, is unaccustomed to seeing jade giants, causing her to come to a pause nearby, tilting her head from side to side, as if trying to disecern what kind of creature she is beholding.

Jennifer Walters has posed:
Jennifer feels Amora's eyes on her more than she does see them. She turns her head to see who it might be, adjusting her sunglasses to rest on her forehead so she can get a better look. Eyebrows shoot up at the sight before her. "Well," she says, thinking a bit. "Asguardian? You'd fit right in if you aren't."

Amora has posed:
Taking a moment to stretch, breathing in deeply, the sun reflecting off her bikini to reveal an intricate iradescent scale pattern within the green, Amora smiles, her voice clear and musical, but lacking the accent and more archaic language of her fellow Asgardians, "Well, not sure how much I fit in there, since I've always stood out, the soft and feminine flower surrounded by all the blood-thirsty savages girl seeking to join Frigg's finest. They light fighting and getting muddy, I liked picking flowers and cooking and reading now and then." she pauses, "I do not mean to be rude, but with your complexion, are you some odd breed of Troll that you know so well what an Asgardian looks like? If so, you too must have been the odd one out, presumed hideous by your troll brethren, while quite fetching to mortal eyes."

Jennifer Walters has posed:
Jennifer lets out a light laugh and shakes her head. "Nothing wrong with wanting to pick flowers and cook and read, but I can see how that would make you something of an outsider over there." At the mention of being a Troll, Jen just looks more amused than offended. "Not a Troll. A Midguard Hulk. She-Hulk, but you can call me Jennifer. I work with Thor."

Amora has posed:
A blissful smile crosses her lips at the mention of Thor, Amora nods, "How is the mightiest son of Odin? I have not had the chance to see him since I came here, and would love to give him a kiss. He and I grew up together... well, he, Fandral, Hogun, Sif, Brunnhilde, Loki, and I, with my baby sister sometimes trying to intrude on the fun." she offers a hand, "I am Amora, an honor to meet a colleague of Thor's. Some might argue your point, when they learn that the member of our posse that was usually helping me pick flowers, cook, reading books with me, or joining me sittin on the fence while the others practiced combat, was frail, sweet Loki."

Jennifer Walters has posed:
Jennifer sits up to take the offered hand. "It's a pleasure to meet one of Thor's childhood friends. Next time I see him I'll tell him you want to give him a kiss." The mention of Loki, turns Jen's smile into a slight frown. "I'm given to understand that Loki's..." she searches for delicate words to put her thoughts in, "issues stem from more than just that. Being feminine, or doing feminine things on Midguard rarely results in somebody leading an alien invasion."

Amora has posed:
Laughing, Amora nods, "I don't claim to know human psychology nor an Asgardian equivilent, I can only speak to what I was there for. Loki was very sweet, he was kind hearted, he was even dutiful at a time. He truly sought his father's approval, but while All-Father wields powerful magical might, he is a Warrior, and he praised the sons that were strong, and fast, and vital, and able to wield a sword, and the ones son who sought his praise the most was frail, and generally sickly... which was because his Jotun blood made him not suited to pollens and natural of Asgard... and weaker than all the girls, including my baby sister." she winks, "Loki still can't beat my sister nor myself in arm wrestling, so not much has changed. I think matters just got worse, especially as he was dutiful, while Thor was rebellious and brash." she blushes a bit, "Two qualities that made him fun, but not the best role model or representative of our people."

Jennifer Walters has posed:
"To be fair, I think Thor has gotten better," admits Jennifer. She scoots her chair over, and pats the blanket next to her. "Sit with me a bit? It's nice having company." She looks thoughtful for a while. "I got along with my father, mostly. Until I was an adult." She turns to explain, "He was a cop and I was a public defender. So he would arrest criminals and I would end up trying to get them out of jail. So to him, we were working on opposite sides of the law." She lets out a sad sigh. "We had just started to patch things together when he died."
