Synopsis: Avengers Mansion gets a visit from the Russian Consulate. She-Hulk is not amused.
Cast of Characters: Jennifer Walters, Nadia Pym-van Dyne

Jennifer Walters has posed:
One of the things that they don't tell you when you join The Avengers is how much paperwork there is. Earlier this evening she had come across a new villain who was calling himself Reaktor. Yes, Jen made sure the guy spelled his name out for her after she hit him a couple of times, and before she handed him over to the police.

So here she is, staring blearily at a monitor, plunking in vitals and information into the computer hoping it'll come back with a known felon of one sort or another. It doesn't. Of course. That would have been too easy.

Jen slumps in the chair with a heavy sigh, wanting nothing more than to just go home and soak in the bathtub with a bath bomb. That would be nice.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
*Ding Dong* or the reasonable equivalent of a doorbell goes off inside of the mansion. Outside of the gates are standing perhaps five men in suits, the clear source of the doorbell ringing. They shuffle about, adjusting their suits and holding manila legal files. Facial recognition systems seem to indicate they are political attches from the Russian Consulate.

Jennifer Walters has posed:
Aha! A much needed break from the drudgery of paperwork! Somebody at the door! Jennifer checks the monitor for their identifications and when it spits back who they are, she grunts in concern. They wouldn't be making a personal visit unless it was something important, she supposes, and she can think of half a dozen reasons... and people... who this could be about.

She stands up, adjusts her She-Hulk uniform to make sure it's just so, and heads to the front door, and opens it. "How can I help you gentlemen?" she asks, leaning on the doorjamb. Friendly, casual, and a rather sizable obstacle to get through.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
A shorter man, at least by She-Hulk standards, perhaps five and feet, steps forwards. He has a thick mustache, is wearing glasses, and his suit is a slightly nicer cut. "We are looking for girl, runaway, mother back in Russia very worried. Eye witnesses place her at this mansion recently, have you seen her?" He holds up a photo of someone quite familiar to Jennifer, it is most definitely of Nadia.

The shorter man is flanked by two taller men, both a little over six foot, and a massive bruiser in the back nearly as big as She-Hulk. From the way they carry themselves, all are probably protection for the man in glasses, likely the only actual political attache of the bunch.

Jennifer Walters has posed:
She-Hulk's expression remains that of passive neutrality. //Especially// when they show her a picture of Nadia. She straightens herself and says, "I don't think so. May I take a closer look at the picture?" She holds out her hand expectantly.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"You may," The man says in his thick Russian accent, noting Jennifer's interest, as he hands over the photograph. It is perhaps a slightly younger Nadia, maybe a year or two ago, but definitely Nadia. "Her name is Nadia Trovaya. We are afraid she may have come under negative influence, her mother Maria Trovaya is very worried about her safety."

Jennifer Walters has posed:
She-Hulk gingerly takes the paper as if she might accidentally incinerate it with her hands. "Thank you," she says as she starts studying the picture. It's an outdated photo, she thinks. Good. This means that they don't have eyes on her. She, then tries to see if there's any other identifying features of the photo that could tell her where they took it from. That information could be handy.

"Mmmno," she concludes. "I haven't seen her before, but I hardly live at the Mansion," she admits. "Can I keep this? Show it around to the other residents? Maybe one of them has seen her."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"You may, it is copy, not original." The short mustached man informs Jennifer, "Also please take card, if you learn anything please contact me at Russian Consulate immediately. Ah where are my manners, I am Diplomatic Attache Boris Ivanov, in charge of girl's case. You may call me any time."

Jennifer Walters has posed:
"Boris Ivanov," Jennifer repeats with a smile. "I'm Jennifer Walters, Esq. A pleasure." She makes that last sound as convincingly as possible. Taking the card from him, she looks at it, nods, and says, "We'll be sure to contact you if we come across anything. Now, if there isn't anything else, I hope you have a pleasant evening."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Boris gives a slight bow of his head to Jennifer, "And to you as well Ms. Walters, the pleasure is mine I assure you." He turns the men behind him, "Alright, gentlemen. We have trouble nice lady enough. Back to the Consulate we go." The others part for the man who is obviously in charge. One opens one of the rear doors for him to get into the black sedan with tinted windows and embassy places, before the others get in after him and they drive off into the night.

Jennifer Walters has posed:
Jennifer watches the consulate go with mild interest, only to finally let out a breath when they're out of range of seeing her. "Great," she says, turning to go back into the mansion, closing the front door with a foot. "More paperwork."
