Synopsis: Lorna, Blink, Clint and Wanda escape to Fiji for a break from a world gone crazy
Cast of Characters: Clarice Ferguson, Lorna Dane, Wanda Maximoff, Clint Barton

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
To say that it has been some difficult days/weeks/months would be to understate it. And specially now with Magneto's return and all that implies to Genosha's survival tempers were flared and high up there. So what did Clarice do? Find a good spot to go relax in and invite a few people. In this case she had extended it to the Royals (Just not Magneto, it would had been awkward) and after some try and miss she had found a good nice cove on the Fiji where they could spend a nice day in...

As for foods and anything else? Bring your own! Blink certainly ain't gonna be cookin'. She does bring her own surfboard though, because if she can't bash some heads in she will be certain to crash some waves...

And really, what was the probability that this *exact* beach would be attacked by Lurkers or murdermaids, mmmm?

Lorna Dane has posed:
Clarice had had to pick up Lorna from yet another diplomatic meeting earlier, and with the offer a short break? Well, the green haired mutant had needed a little cajoling to be convinced. A brief stop for supplies and beach-y goodness had been required for her to change from her business casual attire to something that could handle the sun, salt, and waves. Lorna wore a simple black one-piece swimsuit, a loose fitting wrap slung over around her hips, and an oversized pair of sunglasses as she plopped down in the shade of a palm tree. She had spread out a rather large beach blanket, and brought a cooler of various drinks.

Coolers were once again the most typical way of keeping anything cool in Genosha with a lack of power. So it wasn't hard to come by.

A heavy sigh followed as she flopped backwards and draped an arm over her features. "How is it I end up taking a break from a tropical island to go to another tropical island?"

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
Wanda has been torn on what course of action, if any, to take in the wake of the refugee facilities being taken from Genosha. Undecided on whether confrontation with her father would do any good after he'd returned to the sort of activity that had first prompted Wanda and Pietro to depart his side.

So she'd buried herself in other matters, globe-hopping and dealing with incidents as they cropped up. Clint had been welcome to come on some of them, but other times if he wasn't at SHIELD, he might have woke to find her gone already for the day with a note left behind. To say she's been a little tense is an understatement.

So the invitation from Clarice was a welcome one. Wanda put together some things for the beach, including a cooler with food and beverages in it. When it's all ready she looks to Clint. "Shall we?" she offers, ready to teleport the pair of Avengers to the beach to meet Blink and Lorna.

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint had been busy with SHIELD and the little hops with Wanda to go chase down problems around the globe, so the invite to go for some R&R is met with a 'hell yeah' and he quickly drops Fury a line that he'll be out of contact on 'important Avengers business' changes into his board shorts and flip flops and nods to Wanda. "Ready, babe," he says stepping to her side.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"It's the Fiji..." Blink replies, gesticulating with her arms for Lorna to appreciate the surrounding beach and the sea in front of them. "... not just /another/ tropical island." she states with a faint grin. She was dressed in a sky-blue bikini, purple hair left loose and other than the surfboard and her towel she had brought nothing else. There are perks to being a teleporter afterall... Can always zoom out and in to get whatever is missing. And she trusted the others would be bringing in stuff..

She turns to look over to the sea, partially covering her eyes from the sun and pointing. "Look at that sea. And noone in miles to disturb us.."

She then casts a glance over her shoulder to Lorna, asking. "How have you been doing anyway? I haven't seen you in a bit." a pause, "And Mmm, Wanda and Clint should be here any moment now."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna stretched her arms out over her head and yawned, as she remained happily sprawled on the oversized beach blanket. "Look, it has sand, water, and palm trees. Pretty standard tropical island fare." She murmured, and peered over her sunglasses at Clarice.

"You know where I've been." She paused, and a blush stained her cheeks. "Try to keep my visits to Atlantis a bit on the downlow around Wanda, yeah? I don't want to get grilled." She grinned faintly, and with a flick of her wrist the cooler popped open and she summoned a can of soda to her grip. She popped the top, and settled back.

"But this should be nice, thanks Clarice."

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
A swirl of scarlet energy announces the arrival of the two Avengers a moment before they fade into existence, and just in time to miss the comment about Atlantis. Wanda looks around, and her face lights up immediately upon seeing her sister and Blink. "This was a fantastic idea," Wanda says in her softly accented English as she grabs a huge beach blanket to spread out on the white sand beach. "Really was a good time to get away," she says.

The cooler and bag are put on the corners to keep the blanket from blowing away, and then Wanda moves over to greet her sister with a quick hug. Wanda touches her hand to her sister's cheek and shares a fond smile before pulling the touch away. "I don't know if Pietro will make it. I sent him a message but did not hear back," she says. "But I brought someone less dour," she says looking to Clint and covering her eyes from the sun as she smiles at him.

Which reminds Wanda that she needs her sunglasses. She gets them from the bag and puts them on. She's wearing a black and white striped bikini otherwise, and a pair of sandals that she slips off now she's in the sand.

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint's a veteran at teleporting now as soon as the swirl of red dissipates he steps onto the sand and grins, "God, I needed this," he says stretching, and putting on his purple tinted shades.

Turning to Lorna and Clarice, he nods, "Hey your Majesty, Clarice," he greets casually as he bends and helps lay out the towel before he flops down on it enjoying the feel of the sea breeze on his face. After a moment's enjoyment he digs a beer out of the cooler and cracks the top. "Anyone want anything? Got beer, snacks, and if we sharpen some sticks and I remember enough of my SHIELD survival training to get a fire going, hotdogs."

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"So jaded..." Clarice replies to Lorna when she doubles-down on this being just another tropical island. Well, it is but that's details! Her tone is a jesting one though. "It's good to be out in some unknown place from time to time, on the discovery." she then pointing to some cliffs over yonder. "I will have to go explore those in a while." for someone that can just teleport anywhere she does appear awfully excited about exploring new places all the time.

"And I hear there's a new name for that place you have been visiting.." Not that she says the name but there's a knowing grin on Clarice's expression as she regards her friend. The swirl of energy that comes right after makes her glance to the newcomers. "Hey hey, welcome."

She waves to both Clint and Wanda when they come by, eyes then peeking at the various coolers about. Gooood.. She wanders over to get a cold beer for herself. "I think hotdogs sound great."

Lorna Dane has posed:
A glance was spared toward Clarice, as the purple haired woman teased her. A poor attempt to look serious over the blush that stained her cheeks and too wide a smile that threatened to play over her expression.

But then Lorna smiled as her sister arrived, and she sat up to return the embrace. If she held onto her older sister a bit longer than normal, it was perhaps excused by the length of time they'd spent separated. Too much had happened since she'd visited Wanda, and spoke to her. A sigh followed the comment about Pietro and Lorna grimaced, "I haven't seen him for a while. I think since news about dad.." She winced, and shook her head.

Butt a nod and wave followed as Lorna greeted Clint. "'Sup? I think I'll be good with snacks and my soda. It's warm enough without a fire." She drawled.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
Wanda gives her own soft sigh and says in a wry, joking tone of Pietro, "He's probably building a launch ramp that he can run up into space with." But that's the last she mentions about their father, staying there at her sister's side, and resting a hand on her shoulder to keep the contact going. "Thank you for inviting us, Clarice, and please, dig in," she says of the cooler, nodding at Clint's invitation to them.

She could help with starting a fire, no doubt, but doesn't offer as she instead tells Clint, "No I'm looking forward to seeing some of this SHIELD training at work. Starting a fire, not always the easiest thing to do," she says, as if having had a little non-chaos power experience with starting them, herself.

Wanda shades her eyes to look towards the cliffs. "I bet it has a tremendous view from the top," she tells Clarice. "I think to start with for me? I just want... to float. Just lie back in the water and float there and stop thinking for a time."

Clint Barton has posed:
"I can't complain," Clint answers Lorna's 'sup'. "I'd ask about how things are but I guess the point of this trip is to sort of forget about all that, right?" he asks, as he gladly opens the cooler for Clarice to grab a beer.

Looking over his shoulder he chuckles to Wanda. "Oh ye of little faith," he says, getting up from the towel to go searching for some driftwood sufficiently dried out by the sun. "Go for your float there Witchy, and there'll be a fire waiting for you when you get back."

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"Good that we got a Bear Grills with us today." Clarice comments about Clint's survival training at SHIELD. She takes the beer bottle with a grin, tipping down some of it and wandering over to sit by her surfboard relaxedly, just there on the sand. Legs extend forward and she lets out a big yawn. But no! The nap would come *after* the hotdogs.

"And I just found this place a small while ago, was going to just come here and relax on my own but then thought it would be best with company." She casts a brief look around. "I don't think this normally has much people wandering around here.., if any at all.." another drag from her beer, close to getting done with it.

Eyes stray back to that cliff and she nods. "There is that temptation of just teleporting up there, but think it would ruin the actual trip.."

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna shrugged once, leaning against her sister's side as she arched a brow upward at the joke Wanda made. "I could see that.." She grinned, and seemed content to just remain where she was on the beach blanket. She glanced once at the cliffs and wrinkled her nose. "I'm cool with staying here."

Her focus shifted back toward Clint, and she offered a nod in regards to his comment about relaxing here rather than going over everything that was an issue. She turned her focus to the crystal clear blue waters and she pushed off the towel and away from her sister. In the same motion throwing down the wrap from her waist and heading for the water.

"Talk about teleporting all you want, I'm getting in the water."

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
The reply from Clint brings a smile from Wanda. She moves over to brush a kiss to his cheek and flash that smile at him again before moving over towards the water. "Well, we're glad you invited us, Blink," Wanda tells the younger mutant woman. "Sometimes it's easy to forget to stop and take time for ourselves," she says as she walks barefoot out to where the waves are lapping up on shore.

"Perfect," she says as the first wave flows over her feet and is absorbed into the sand. The auburn-haired woman walks out into the water, the waves calm enough that once she's out waist deep she can probably lay back and float without getting overturned by the waves going past.

Wanda ducks her head underwater and stands back up again, gathering her hair behind her and then relaxing back into the water. "You know, you float better in salt water than in fresh water," she comments. She lets out a sigh, letting the sun shine down on her and warm her skin while the water laps at her, occasional waves going back but not really disturbing her. Wanda looks over to Lorna and sighs. "Now this is the life." She lets out another happy sigh before yelling, "Clarice, can you make sure Clint doesn't burn himself?" The grin on her face can be heard in her voice.

Clint Barton has posed:
"Keep talkin'," Clint says as he stands from grabbing another stick of driftwood. "All of you are going to talk your way out some hotdogs later," he complains good naturedly before taking his sticks and getting set to make the fire.

He glances back to Blink and puts his finger to his lips before he digs into the bag and pulls out a pack of matches, and a bottle of lighter fluid. "My SHIELD training told me to always come prepared," he says, letting her in on the joke.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"No fun.." Clarice complains of the 'grumpy' Lorna. But she is grinning when she says that... And really, too hot and she's too busy drinking her beer to go around teleporting. Instead she goes for what Wanda suggested. To SUPERVISE Clint's work. Because she's good at that...

She hops up to her feet nimbly to approach, curiously, when he begins to gater those sticks. Maybe she will actually learn something today.., like how to make a fire with two sticks. Turns out it's all a sham...!!!

She eyes the matches, then Clint, then back to the matches, an amused snort. "My lips are sealed." she says. Not a snitch this elf!

She looks over her shoulder to the water. "This fire is going to look great!"

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna seemed content to simply float back in the water while Wanda ducked her her head under. She arched a brow upward at the little fact about salt water verses fresh. "Salt water also is a better conductor for electromagnetic energy." She wiggled her fingers, as she spoke, but otherwise seemed content to just enjoy the moment with her older sister. She fell silent for a long moment, as Wanda called out about keeping Clint from burning himself. She snickered softly, but otherwise seemed to just enjoy the warm tropical waters they were in.

"Hey... Wanda.. could you like, in theory.. cast a spell so someone could breathe underwater?" She hedged after a long moment, glancing side long at Wanda as the two floated on the gentle waves.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
Wanda's arms float out to the side, occasionally moving her hands through the water to orient herself head first towards the small waves that come in so they go past her easily. "I could actually," she says slowly. "My mentor, it was a fairly early spell that she taught me. Traditional witch magic, rather than my power," Wanda says to Lorna.

She lets out a soft laugh. "Harry Potter actually wasn't all that far off," she says. "Or, well. Right idea anyway. Why, are you needing to go undersea to recover something?" Wanda inquires.

She misses Clint's trickeration with the matches and lighter fluid. Though he still has to manage to use them without losing his eyebrows, so there's always the chance they'll be noticed.

Wanda looks up at the blue sky overhead. "How life might have been different if we'd just grown up here, hmm? Probably have never wanted to leave the island and the ocean."

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
Whatever Clint and Clarice are doing over there at the beach with the driftwood seems rather secretive. Clarice has even approached and squatted down to help on it. There's some gesturing being done, low talk. Some head shakes. It's all very hush-hush. SHIELD Training afterall or so Clint said! It comes with all the spy stuff too...

But no eyebrows are burned, or anything else..., yet a small fire does start. Is it suspiciously too big to begin with? Maaaaybe. But it's starting to pick up.

"Ahah! Mission accomplished." Clarice says with a grin to Clint, followed by a thumbs up.. And then to not let it appear as if Clint did all the work she goes to get some of the hotdogs to bring over to him... But HE will be cooking, not Clarice.

She has other things to do!

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna shifted in the water, tilting from her free-form floating to treading water as she glanced back at her older sister. Her eyebrows shooting upward slightly in surprise. "Really? Cool." She blinked as Wanda mentioned Harry Potter, and the green haired woman tilted her head, not entirely sure what Wanda meant by it. But the comment about her recovering something earned a faint blush which she tried to cover with clearing her throat.

"Uhm.. yeah! Something like that. The X-men have stuff going on... and uhm, being able to breath under water would be really useful. If you don't mind helping me with that.." She ducked under the water briefly, popping back up with a shell in hand and turning her gaze back to Wanda's thoughtful look at the sky above.

"Well, Pietro would've gone crazy and ran away if we grew up on an island. Too small." She murmured, and offered the speckled shell out to her older sister. "What do you think? I could make you a necklace or something."

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
One thing about hot dogs cooked on fires sneakily started with modern means? They taste just as good as ones cooked on fires started by rubbing two sticks together!

Wanda floats on with her sister, unaware of the trickery at hand, though after awhile the scent of the cooking hot dogs will start to make itself known. "Oh they are going to get me hungry," Wanda tells Lorna. "Sure, I'd be happy to help. It takes a little preparation in advance so let me know when you'll need it and... and Lorna? Are you -blushing-? Wanda asks as she looks over and sees a bit of red in Lorna's cheeks. "Either that or we need to get you some sunscreen, stat!" Wanda says.

She smiles at the sight of the shell. "I think that would make a lovely necklace," Wanda agrees. She gets her feet under her to sit upright, ducked down just enough so the water stays up to her shoulders as she looks finally over, seeing Blink and Clint with a fire already going.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
It's perhaps a good thing that Clarice hasn't spotted Lorna doing a Pinocchio about her true reasons for underwater breathing. But a glance over to the sea tells her that it's perhaps best to keep her distance, let the sisters talk! It does seem they haven't in a while...

So she takes advantage by claiming the first hotdog when it gets properly cooked. "Don't mind if I do.." she tells Clint, a wink and then she ventures towards where her surfboard is, taking a bite on her sausage.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna glanced briefly at the fire and Clarice and Clint's managing of it. The smell of hotdogs mixing with the tropical air of sand and salt. Her gaze returned to her sister as she bobbed in the water, "A little preparation? What do you need for it?" She blinked owlishly at her sister as Wanda noted the faint coloring on her cheeks and she sank lower in the water up to her nose briefly.

"What? No? I don't burn! It's.. magnetic fields stop that. It's why I'm pale enough to be reflective." She muttered, and her blush only deepened.

"Oh hey, look, more shells." She offered a distraction perhaps to avoid her older sister's questions and comments, ducking down under water again to grab another.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
Wanda's cheeks get a little fuller with her smile, her lips quirking at the ends as if she suspects the distraction being offered to her. Green eyes sparkle with more than the reflected sunlight, but she doesn't push her sister on the topic further. Not yet anyway.

"Oh, a few ingredients. Not... what was it they called it in the book? Gillyweed? But, it takes a few things combined together just right and imbued with magic," she tells Lorna. "You know, I could try to teach you some of this if you like?"

Wanda glances over to the fire, and sees Clarice leaving it with a tasty link already in hand. Her eyes go to Clint next, lingering upon him. "Clint had his birthday last month," she tells Lorna. "Took him to a circus, run by the same man who ran the one he grew up with," she says. "I got to see him perform as well." Wanda's smile is a big one. "It was a very nice time," she says.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
It doesn't take Clarice that long to devour her hotdog. Because hey.., they *are* delicious.. A small pat of her belly later and she sprawls down on the sand, leaning back with both hands on the back of her head and simply relaxing, eyes closing...

Good times to be out here, simply enjoying the sun and company..

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna arched a brow in consideration of her older sister's words about learning back and she shook her head promptly. "Oh no, no. I'll stick with physics and asking my big sister to break them now and then. Besides, if I start using magic that'll start all kinds of comments about being.. I dunno, what? The Green Witch?" She shook her head, and made to head back to the beach and the promise of food. But she paused as she glanced back at Wanda as she spoke of her time with Clint.

"I'm glad that he makes you happy." She murmured, smiling slightly as she made to climb out of the water, shells in hand to claim a hotdog.

"Hey Clarice, are one of those done enough for me to grab one?"

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
Wanda tosses back her head to laugh about Lorna being the green witch. She gives a little splash towards Lorna. "I'm melting..." she says with another soft laugh as she riffs of the Wizard of Oz. Wanda rises as well then to begin the walk back to shore.

"It's smelling good over there. I guess someone didn't forget all of his SHIELD training at least," Wanda says, flashing a smile to Clint where he's got more food cooking for the rest of the group. Wanda moves over to get out buns and condiments for them, bringing them over so Clint can load them up.

"He does," Wanda confirms to Lorna while standing there beside Clint, and he not knowing what they are talking about. Though the comment gets Wanda a suspicious look from him until she brushes a hand on his shoulder.

"Blink, you are going to have to show me how to surf later," she says. "Though we'll have to grab another board."

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
Clarice sits back up on the sand when the sisters step out of the water, grinning in their direction. "And it tastes even better than it smells. The second batch should be good enough to go..." a glance over her shoulder. "Unless Clint has eaten them all. It's a possibility." a teasing wink given before her unnatural green gaze returns to the others, "How's the water?" she then asks. "By the look on your faces it looks great!"

She slowly makes her way back up to her feet, brushing her knees and thighs from the accumulating sand there. "My pleasure. And I can get you an extra board. It's just..." she doesn't really lose much time, a portal opening up as she takes a quick jump over before returning with another surfboard... It does take her a few seconds to recover after though. She lets out a breath. "There you go. And no, I didn't steal it.." she says, just in case!

Lorna Dane has posed:
"Water is great, want a shell?" She offered, dropping the handful she'd collected on the sand and making her way around the fire to find the necessary bits she'd need for getting her food. Lorna glanced briefly at her older sister, grabbing a paper plate and loaded up hotdog and plopping down on the beach blanket and picking up her drink in her other hand. She balanced the fire charred hotdog in one hand and watched as Clarice portaled another surfboard to their beachy hangout.

"I dunno if the waves are enough to do all that much. At least not on this part of the beach, you might have to walk further down." She offered, munching on her hotdog and taking a sip of her soda in between.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
Wanda watches as Blink makes obtaining another board so easy. "I envy your control when it comes to that," Wanda says. "I have to put a fair amount of effort into being able to reach somewhere I'm not overly familiar with. LIke, here," she says to Clarice.

Wanda moves over to get one of the hot dogs, adding ketchup to it and taking a seat beside Clint as he starts to eat too. "We can always stir up some waves if needed," Wanda, says glancing up at the sky as if gauging the weather. "We're far enough from anyone we won't disturb them with some wave?" she asks of Clarice who has more knowledge of the island than Wanda does.

She takes a bite of the hot dog, wiping a bit of ketchup from the corner of her mouth with a finger that she pops between her lips to clean. "So... about going underwater...?" Wanda asks Lorna, trailing off and giving her a grinning smile at the question.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"It's easier when I have the time to prepare things.. Harder when it needs to be made on a rush, or in the middle of battle. So there's always that balance..." Clarice murmurs, setting the board near the other and ambling over to get a second hotdog, this time with some bread too!

The question about making waves brings a thoughtful look from Clarice, lips jerked to the side and she looking back to the sea. "Yes, we are. This is really secluded. Unless there's some secret cannibal cult lurking around the island that I didn't notice when I visited." hey, those things can happen! With her hotdog now in hand she leans over to get a seashell from the ground, flipping it on her fingertips until the question about going underwater makes her peek to the duo..

But again, she is no snitch! And if she didn't rat out Clint for the fire she certainly won't rat out Lorna either. Not that it stops her from looking at the Princess.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna arched a brow as Wanda spoke of making the waves necessary for surfing and she glanced over the currently, calm tropical waters in front of them. She hmm'ed, and distractedly glanced back as her sister asked about her plans of going under water. She made a gesture with her hand toward her mouth, chewing pointedly another portion from her hotdog and taking a long sip from her soda.

Clearing her throat, she took another sip. "Well, I ended up on the wrong side of a boat fighting a siren. And ended up snorting a few lungfuls of sea water. Which burn really badly. And I'd like to not. I don't think it'll be the end of those things, so really, it's a preventative measure. And masks can get ripped off. So.. I'd like to not drown." She mumbled.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
Wanda settles down cross-legged on the blanket. "Good job," she tells Clint on the cooking, and reaches over to brush a fingertip over his eyebrows. "Still there, too," she says in a tone as if impressed.

Wanda looks back to Lorna and hrms quietly. "Well, if you know the fight is coming up in advance. Such a potion doesn't have a tremendous shelf-life though. A few days to a week. So you'd need to know it was coming enough in advance I could make one."

Another bite of her hot dog is consumed. "This was the cruise ship in the Atlantic? I saw something of it in the briefings, though I had been dealing with another matter," she says.

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
"There's apparently some trouble brewing under the sea. Namor was at the Mansion asking for help in dealing with it." Clarice says helpfully, tossing a grin Lorna's way. "His people have been aiding the survivors too. Truly, he's not half a jerk that people claim him to be. Lorna's diplomacy won him over to the mutants side." such a traitor!

Though she does nod at the mention of that siren, hrming. "Saw something on the news too. Nasty business, and so it was involved to the rest..?" she looks worried but then shakes it off by taking a bite from her hotdog. No point to be worrying about that just now!

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna rubbed her upper arm briefly, water trickling down her back as she shifted and made to ring out her hair. "Uhm.. anytime soon is good. Whenever you can make it. It's an ongoing thing. We had to fight off an attack in Kittery Maine too. And it's not likely to stop either.. So yeah.." She reached for her soda and nearly choked on her drink mid-sip as Clarice spoke.

That blush that had been on her cheeks in the water resurfaced and she coughed, having inhaled her soda the wrong way. It would seem the woman was in danger of drowning yet again! She shot the purple haired mutant a look, reaching for a napkin to wipe her face and nose, her eyes watering.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
Wanda listens to it all. The coughing from Lorna draws a tilt of Wanda's head and a considering look. "Well, I will work something up for you then," Wanda says with a nod, and a glance over to Blink that seems to ask questions without needing words.

"And if you need assistance dealing with any of it and I'm able, of course I'll help as I can," she tells Lorna. Clint murmurs between bites something SHIELD something something, boats boats SHIELD. Wanda gives him a little nod at that. "Clint too if he's able," she translates for him.

Wanda finishes off her food and then digs in the cooler to pull out a bottle of raspberry iced tea. "Sirens hrm? I imagine some sort of ear protection would be helpful as well. Or something to break a glamour."

Clarice Ferguson has posed:
Clarice looks all too innocent when she takes another slow bite from her hotdog, moving to get a soda for herself. But she has done enough betrayal for an afternoon so that look from Wanda gets no further answers. She'd have to get them off her sister!

"And me as well, I am willing to help as needed. But that goes without needing to be said." a drink taken from her soda before she sets it aside. Clint's offer of assistance from SHIELD makes her quirk a brow though... she's never been too fond of those kind of agencies... But hey, all help is welcome!

"Would be cool to visit Atlantis some day. Have you been there, Wanda?" She asks.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna recovered from her coughing fit, and whether she was blushing or just red in the face from having inhaled soda was up in the air. She crumbled up the napkin, glancing once at Clarice and then back at her older sister. "Ah... yeah.. I'll let you know. But if you have ideas I'll take them. Whatever it is that's causing these things to pop out of the deep is kind of up in the air right now. I'll send you the reports we've got." She cleared her throat again, and made one more attempt to sip at her soda and finish off her hotdog.

Another glance for the purple haired royal guard followed as Clarice asked Wanda if she'd been to Atlantis. Traitor.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
Wanda gives a slow shake of her head. "I have not. I've heard a little about it, but never been there before," Wanda tells Clarice. Her eyes steal a peak over to how Lorna is reacting, perhaps the older sister putting pieces together. If so though she doesn't say anything more about it, just gives a tiny smile.

"I did visit the Moon recently though. Not something I expected to be able to say," she says thoughtfully. "I swear Tony is going to make a Mars base now to one-up them," she says of the Justice League's new base. "Though I'll stay in the mansion if so," she adds, giving a quick shake of her hand. "It was interesting... but I'm happy enough staying on Earth."
