Cast of Characters: Lorna Dane, Namor

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna had come down to Atlantis for another visit, and she traced the halls from her quarters over to the King's hallowed halls. She wore the clothes that were left behind for her there, a simple teal halter top and sort of split skirt and wrap combination. She held a bottle in her hands as she walked, and knocked on the entry way. She waited until she heard a response from within.

Green eyes peered through the doors and she stepped inside lightly, her bare feet tapping lightly on the slightly cool and damp floors. Air might be a thing in the room, but the remains of the salt sea beyond never truly left either. She glanced briefly at the massive window that led to the open sea beyond, a thoughtful look crossing her features as she made her way toward where the King of Atlantis lingered.

"Glad I caught you.."

Namor has posed:
"Enter."

The King's response to Lorna's knock is short and curt, an answer better suited for a servant or attendant. Only when Lorna steps into his quarters does Namor look up and offer her a brief flash of a smile in greeting before he turns his gaze back down to his work. He sits behind a sweeping desk that appears to be fashioned from some historic wreck that went down back when Kings and Queens shipped golden and spice around the world in wooden holds. A rectangular glass device is in his hands as he sits with a slight lean in his tall backed chair. The device is clearly some sort of Atlantean tablet, for even as Lorna approaches he flicks casually through a long document.

"What are you doing here?" he asks in a way that suggests he's more curious than inconvenienced by her presence, "And what is that?" His eyes pull away from the readout in front of him just long enough to glance pointedly at the bottle in her hand by way of indication.

Lorna Dane has posed:
Lorna smiled, and came up toward Namor, peering briefly over his shoulder to glance at what he was working on but didn't seem too overly concerned with it. Paper work was paper work after all. No matter what the country, a monarch would have to deal with some level of it. She shrugged once at his first question, a light roll of her bare shoulders in the light of the sea that trickled in from his window.

"I wanted to talk to you, about everything.. but also.." She sighed heavily, "There are few people I trust on this planet to safe guard the most precious of my people. There are several hundred orphans on Genosha. All mutants. Either born with powers or they're in their teen years and have already manifested. I can't promise you all of Genosha. But if you were willing to give them protection, even separate from Genosha.." She trailed off and looked at him, her eyebrows furrowing sharply.

"I know that you're likely to make use of them and their powers. Mutants everywhere will suffer that one way or another. The Professor did that with me, and continues to do so... But you could have them brought up and be sympathetic to Atlantis.. And that's not a bad thing." She smiled weakly, and glanced down at the bottle in her hands. It was a tiny little glass thing, stopped with a cork at the top.

"My sister Wanda is the Scarlet Witch. And you told me of Atlan Park on my first night. I wanted to see it. Not through a mask, or an air bubble. And she made me a potion to temporarily let me."
