Synopsis: America and Sarah meet up again after their first encounter to catch up over some pizza.
Cast of Characters: America Chavez, Sarah Rainmaker

America Chavez has posed:
America Chavez had partied last night with the Amazons, and the Titans, and now was looking to get 'back to her roots', which means less dress up, more casual, and perhaps more greasy. And, being she hadn't heard anything from Sarah Rainmaker in awhile she'd texted the girl, and simply said, 'Hey, let's catch up at Domino's, my treat.'

And, so here she was, dressed differently? Yes. But, curiously somewhat the same; the colors are different, but she's still wearing red, white, blue and stars and stripes. And, she's sitting at a table, thumbing through her phone and getting caught up on all the latest superhero stuff, while she waits. At the table, she's already gotten an order of the spinach and feta cheese bread, and eaten a few slices and a Dr. Pepper to help wash it down.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah hasn't really had a lot of chain pizza. To be honest, Pizza Hut was pretty much the thing, and was rare enough as it was, her mother preferring to save the money by making her own. So she's a bit curious about it, and of course she's more than happy to spend more time with America. So about on time, she's pushing open the door, stepping inside and looking around as she pauses. She's dressed in capris and a saffron belly shirt, having not bothered with a jacket, with boots on her feet as she walks over to slide into the boot across from America. "Hey...sorry, took a bit to find it."

America Chavez has posed:
"Hey, girl," America greets, shutting off her phone and stuffint it into her jacket pocket, "You look smokin'," she states, rather bluntly and smiles brilliantly. "Glad you made it. No worries, I ordered ahead, at least the bread. You really should try some if you've never had any. It's to die for."

There will be, no doubt, time for idle chat about what they've been up to since they last saw one another later. Now? Now it's time to enjoy some comfort food, and 'live a little'. "You're lucky I saved you some," she teases, warmly.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
"Sure. I've never had Dominos, actually." Sarah admits easily as she smiles. "Wasn't one near where I grew up." She crosses her legs easily as she leans bac, resting her hands on the table. "Hah, well, thank you for thinking of me." she says dryly, reaching over to snag a piece to try, munching at it curiously. "...mmm, not bad...really buttery..."

America Chavez has posed:
"Butter is from the Gods," America agrees with a little mischevious grin. "Figure I'd wait to see what you wanted on the pizza. I really, though, hope you're not one of those crazy people that want to put pineapple on it. Otherwise, I'm pretty good with anything we get."

America takes another piece of the cheesy bread herself, taking a healthy bite, and finishing that bite before asking, "So how've you been, chica? Haven't heard from you in awhile, and - well, I've been a little busy. Sorry."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
"I guess they won't have a Roadrunner here, will they?" Sarah says thoughfully. "Not sure if you had those...um, pepperoni and sausage with some peppers and onions is good?" She shrugs. "Butter's good, lard is better, though it's harder to find. Definitely better for taste?" She smiles a little as she leans back. "Well, not a lot. Starting classes. No need to be sorry, you've got things to do I'm sure. How's the Titans thing going?" she wonders, lowering her voice slightly.

America Chavez has posed:
"Classes? That's cool. What classes are you taking?"

And then, Sarah is asking about the Titans. "You missed a -killer- fight against some ice-skeletons, and a bone house. Me and Green Lantern practically wrecked everything they threw at us. It was -awesome-." She makes a few faux punches, "I was smacking them down, and he was doing his Green Lantern thing. Then, last night, we had a little party at the Themyiscrian Embassy. That was fun, but I can only take so much of high society stuff, you know? A girl has her limits. Still, it was cool to see a lot of people. Even saw T'Challa. The king of Wakanda. I didn't know who he was, though, until someone told me." She offers a sheepish grin.

"Sure," she says of the pizza, signaling and placing an order for the same as Sarah had suggested. "What's a Roadrunner?"

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
"Mostly beginning classes, history and sociology. I can't really get into the more interesting ones yet, so I'm trying to knock out all the required courses early." Sarah says simply, comfortably leaning back against the wall as she wiggles around. "Ice skeletons?" shes ays with a faint frown. "Sounds creepy. Little early for Halloween stuff?"

She smiles a bit. "I heard about the Themyscrian Embassy thing, you got to go? Must have been neat. Did you go stag or with a friend?" she wonders curiously. She tilts her head. "Oh, a roadrunner varies, but it's usually pepperoni and sausage, or meatballs, then green chile and red peppers. Though there's a lot of combinations, just the peppers and chile and pepperoni tend to be the same."

America Chavez has posed:
"No, I went - well, I live at the Embassy. Diana, Wonder Woman, invited me to stay there given my situation, and my abliities. I'm kind of like a guest. So, I sort of felt responsible with all that, to be there and support the event. What was cool was that a lot of the other Titans showed up, so we kind of hung out with each other," America says. She tilts her head, pauses, adds, "I was honestly thinking about seeing if you wanted to come, but I figured with all those people there and you kind of wanting to keep a low profile it might not be the best idea in the world."

America gives another sheepish smile. "So, I hope this works instead? Besides, while I've not been worried about you really, I have been. So wanted to make sure you were okay, given our last talk." And, well, her admittance there were 'people' after her.

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah looks a bit torn, chewing her lower lip. "I...probably would have been a bit overwhelmed." she admits. "Being at a place where the only people I knew was because they were famous. I mean...a party like that would be fun to attend maybe, other than that. All the fashion and styles if nothing else. I don't know if my closet is up to dressing for something like that though." She smiles a bit. "And this works fine. And...I'm being careful.' she says slowly. "I mean, as much as I can being publically registered for the school. Made sure my address wasn't listed and such. I've only really done that and joined one of the self defense classes at the gym."

America Chavez has posed:
America nods, looking more serious, "Just remember my offer, chica. I meant it," she says, gravely. Then, once again she brightens, "Now those are my kind of classes. Punching classes. Best kind," she says, humored. "Maybe I should teach some." She laughs a bit at that, then starts to look a little mischevious.

"Maybe next time, I'll bring Cyborg or Green Lantern along with me, so you can meet them. They're both really cool guys. They just don't look as good as me."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
"That'd be neat, to meet some of the Titans." Sarah admits with a faint smile. "I mean...if I'm going to try and audition for them. Sometime. That seems smartest, and...I hate hiding and not being able to /do/ anything." she admit with a grimace. "Now for classes...it's a bit of everything. I don't really have a style or anything, so it's mostly just having access to the weight room and a bag to use for practice, a lot of it is more for basic self defense. So don't know if I'll stick with it or look for something a bit more advanced."

America Chavez has posed:
"Here's my advice: Try the starter stuff, and if you don't feel challenged by it? Then go to the next level up. No shame in figuring out where you are on the charts, Sarah." America grins, some. "I never really trained, I'm more self-taught. But it works for me, really well. I've had my abilities for awhile, so have pretty good control. And, I've always wanted to be like my moms, and help people out. So, here I am."

She adds, "And hey. If I get to look at a gorgeous girl, and help her out? It's like, a double win."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah flashes a grin. "Laying it on thick." she says teasingly, but doesn't seem to mind, as she sips from a water one of the waiters drops off. "It's mostly that I don't have a style really. One of the guys was asking if I did MMA stuff, actually." she admits, wrinkling her nose. "Which I suppose I sort of know a grab bag of things. Not like there was an actual dojo so more what I picked up from my uncle, or friends of my dad when they stopped by."

America Chavez has posed:
"MMA? That's that - cage fighting stuff, right? Where they hug each other and pretend to fight for half the match?" Of course, America is teasing back, but has clear opinons that MMA is not 'real' fighting the way her mind thinks of fighting. "I bet you're better than that," she concludes, a bit more seriously.

She shrugs, "You don't have to have a 'style'. You just have to be effective, and win. How you win, as long as you don't you know, go crazy and into bad guy territory, is up to you. Me? I just get worked up and punch, kick, and tackle, until I beat my opponent senseless. And if that doesn't work, I send them to another dimesion, or team up with some friends who can, while I distract them. In the end, it all works out."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah snorts. "More takedowns yeah. I know some good kicks and I box a little, but nothing fancy for throws or stuff. Just simple stuff designed to break a grapple or take someone down quickly enough to get clear of them." She reaches over to snag a bit of the bread, munching on it, then pausing to get a napkin to wipe the resulting mess of fher fingers. "Well, yes, someone like you, you've got a lot more options than someone like me." she says amusedly. "That whole kick ass super latina thing going for you. I wouldn't mind learning something more structured. A lot of it I started more because I liked being in shape at first, but more recently...seems like a good plan to know how to fight." She tilts her head. "I'm pretty much like any normal woman if someone takes me by suprise in a fight like that."

America Chavez has posed:
"Well, if you kick ass enough to get on the Titans, you can get that sort of training," America assures. "They've got a whole training facility, and a couple people there are into helping you learn. Everyone has different abilities, and should learn to fight based on those. To maximize their potential." Still, she preens a bit at being called a kick ass latina.

"yeah, I am pretty awsome," she agrees, winking before picking up a hot slice of pizza as it arrives and proceeds to blow on it to cool it. "For now, though, we should just enjoy this pizza. And each other's company. Right?"

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah snags a plate and a few pieces as she nods with a smile. "Sure, it's nice just hanging out...wait, is this the sort of pizza you're supposed to fold?" she says uncertainly, eyeing one of the pices as she picks it up. "And...well. I feel a bit weird about just walking up and asking to audition, but I guess that's the way to do it. Not like they hold open competitions or something. And I'm going to get their attention if I use my abilities near the city." she says with a faint frown.

America Chavez has posed:
"Eat it however the hell you want," America allows to Sarah, with a laugh. "I'm not the food police." She takes a huge bite of hers, grinning while she does so, pushing a bit of the gooey cheese into her mouth that dangled as a string fro lips to chin.

After she swallows, adds, "Probably. But, if you help someone, or stop some criminals or something like that with your ablities? That wouldn't be a bad thing. I mean, it'd probably alert the people who are looking for you where you are, maybe? But at the same time, you'd also get on Titans Radar. It's really up to you, Sarah. Don't feel pressured because I think it's a good idea. I'm not even a full-fledged Titan yet."

She grins, shrugs her shoulders and looks amicable. "You be you. That's all I care about."

Sarah Rainmaker has posed:
Sarah munches on her pizza, taking a bite and chewing as she mulls over the taste. "It's okay...very crispy. Dough's not bad." she pronounces in judgement after a moment, taking another bite as she listens to America talk, then licks a bit of sauce off her lips absently as she swallows.

"Well, I mean...I'm not a super vigilante." Sarah admits. "I mean, not like that bat guy in Gotham or stuff like that. If I saw someone who needed help I could step in though. But I'd be better at helping with weather related problems. I mean...storms aren't exactly a precision instrument normally. Lightning bolts, they can be." she says after a moment of thought. "I wouldn't want to freak people out by me throwing those around though. That's like that beardy guy with the hammer."

She smiles at America. "I appreciate it...I know I'm still getting up to speed with things. I feel very much fish out of water, I think that's the term."
