Dangerous Showing Off
Date of Scene: 13 September 2020
Location: The Danger Room - Titan's Tower
Synopsis: Kate gives Karolina a tour of the danger room and gathers a good amount of data about one of the newest recruits capabilities.
Cast of Characters: Kate Bishop, Karolina Dean

Kate Bishop has posed:
Kate has her tablet in her hand, the one she has been using to control a lot of the stuff in Titan's tower in previous situations. "Okay so this is the Danger Room.... any member can kick it off and setup scenarios. I think Probbies can run modules they have been given access to though so we can look through a bunch of things to see what might be good for you from a training perspective on your own."

She pauses and looks slowly around the room now. "Huh.. I mean.. you know it isn't entirely as impressive as it should be ... I mean not turned on. It looks like just a big empty room I guess..." she gestures past the control consoles to the middle of the room, down the stairs. "I'm going to kick off a very normal enviroment where you can flex safely before we go into an actual training simulator if that is okay Karolina...?" she smiles brighly and leaves her tablet on the console and then heads down figuring you are going to be following.

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina is... impressed. She didn't exactly have time to get the full tower tour, as things were getting pretty dicey. And then the Stuff happened. So she just stands on the walkway, listening to Kate, looking at the two stories of empty room with a, well, a bit of awe. "Oh wow this is like a Hollywood sound stage!" she laughs. "A clean slate ready to create wonders!" she raises her arms to the sky and then looks back at Kate.

"Huh? Oh... right! This is... basically holograms and stuff, yeah? I don't think we've even been using that for movies and stuff yet... or have we?" she considers. It's been a few years since she's been a part of that 'life', and she stops thinking too hard about it now. "Um, yeah. That should be good. You... said you wanted to see what I could do, right? I'm... not really one for showing off, so... tell me what I should do for you?" she offers, moving towards the stairs, heading down into the danger room 'floor' proper.

Kate Bishop has posed:
Kate realizes by the look on Karolina's face that she hasn't really had a chance to see all the rooms. "Gosh.. okay later I am taking you to see the T-Sub and some of the other cool stuff in the Tower..." she smiles brightly.

She is still bruised from her trip to Themyscira and sparring and showing off her archery. They were easy on her in the sword fighting but not in the archery because that... that was a THING...

"It is a clean slate of a world." she gestures broadly at the empty room. "Holograms yes but force fields and all.. basically hard light. It is ranked enough to let people like Troia and Caitlin cut loose without blowing up the tower. Still if it starts to sout warnings about stopping and all.. don't push past it and blow up the tower." she mms "Also no.. this tech is not in movies or civilian society at all yet...." she blinks. "I'm not sure who gave us this room.. Vic was involved but I mean it could be Stark or Batman or ... someone. I mean the invisible jet is also crazy. So maybe someone in the League helped."

Once in the middle of the actual danger room she clears her throat and then says "Kate Alpha Bravo 2918, Scenario 27."

The entire room chanegs as the simulation starts and there are just ... well it is an obstacle course. Hoops in the air. Tight pillars in slalom courses, and a lot of traditional bullseye targets floating in the sky, behind pillars, and at various distances.

"Generic training simulator... I mean I know you're not a show off but maybe show me a bit of your stuff... how fast you are.. how any offensive stuff works.. force shields.. you know... what do you do?"

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Really? Imagine what stuff like this could do for movies... it's like... a mix of practical effects and CGI..." Karolina seems enthralled, still definitely having some -fond- memories of aspects of that previous life. And this is without it even turned on! "...the T-sub thing still confuses me... how often do you all do deep sea diving?" she asks, looking around the room, then glancing back at Kate when the code and command is given. And then things spring to life.

"Oh this is neat. Um. Where do I even start?" she asks, but she does slip off her bracelet, handing it over to Kate for safekeeping. The moment the metal is no longer in contact with her, she lights up brighter than the holograms, skin shimmering and body radiating light again. "I can fly -really- fast, but I don't think I've got enough speed in here to go... what's the speed ... mach 1? I think that's it. I'd have to go outside if you wanted a sonic book..." she winks, letting her arms float at her sides, body lifting off of the ground about a foot now. "Ah.. I'm nervous.."

Kate Bishop has posed:
Kate grins watching Karolina start to glow. She accepts the bracelet and tucks it into a pocket of her jacket. "You look really awesome when you go from cute blonde to glowing super hero for the record." which probably does nothing to alleviate the nervousness, not one bit.

"She reaches up and rubs the back of her neck "As for what to do ... sure how about you fly the course as fast as you safely can... then while flying give me some target shooting.. I mean.. I think you have blast powers of light.. like um.. lasers or something.. or do you just... flash?" she suddenly isn't sure.

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina starts to float up a couple more feet, and then pauses. The light around her cheeks flares some, and she stares at Kate, blinking. "...I... you think I look awesome? ...and cute?" she does seem more nervous, but she's also grinning like an idiot now. But she tries not to read too much into it, exhaling, and looks back up at the course. "Oh! Sure!"

She follows the course with her eyes, first, seeing where it leads, then glances at the targets. "Well, not so much lasers, but..." she makes a closed fist and brings her arm close to herself, then twirls once, a quick three-sixty, and thrusts that arm towards one of the targets. A bright ribbon of warm, yellow light arcs towards the target, bursting into heat and concussive force on impact. "But I can also..." she looks for another target, her other arm reaching out for it. A thin, concentrated beam of that sun-energy bursts from her palm, burning and cutting like a laser instead of exploding. "...and stuff in between. I mean, I could do a big wave of it, too..."

Kate Bishop has posed:
Kate blinks and then waves Karolina on "Go go.." blushing just a smidge before crossing her arms and observing. Time for serious training montage face.

"Okay that is pretty cool and I figured it was some sort of blasts.. but you are basically doing light blasts from what I am seeing?" at some point her sunglasses ended up down from her hair over her eyes. It is a bit bright those blasts. "That is really awesome Karolina!"

She walks over towards the pillars "Fly the course as fast as you safely can.. I want to see how agile you are flying if that is okay... then I will kick things into motion..."

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Going, going!" Karolina laughs, still 'blushing' in her own bright way. "Um... well... I'm... I think... I'm basically a tiny star? Like..." she shrugs her shoulders, "...I'm powered by the sun and... I don't have blood? It's complicated. I'm complicated. I don't know how I work, but I know that I do work!" she offers a sideways smile, clasping her hands behind her back for a moment, then focusing on the task at hand. "Right, right..."

She looks up at the course again, the rings and pillars. She goes for the rings, first, and flies, focusing on passing through them. At first, it's just for speed, and as she zooms through them, she's trailing those rainbow streams behind her, making it easy to see where she's been, how it clings to her body, and so forth. As far as agility, though? She is good. Quite good. The pillars make her slow down some, but as she gets used to the spacing, she weaves between them, leaving spiralling trails wrapping around them before the light fades in her wake. "The... spacing... .makes... the... difference..." she calls out, but she's laughing!

Kate Bishop has posed:
Kate continues to watch, thoughtfully, not just watching out of admiration for how cute you are up there or anything. There is a lot of appriaisng and trying to understand right now from a tactical stand point to be honest. If they don't know what Karolina is capable of it will be hard to work her into plans out in the field. Especially when the situation is changing dynamically and too quickly.

"Welcome to the Titans... almost everyone here is super complicated in some way or another. Well except me." she smiles disarmingly as she watches the flying start up.

"The rainbow streams are pretty." she does note as she watches. "The agility is really good. Speed is one thing but it is super critical for you to have that agility. Especially if we are in an urban setting.... where we end up in a lot .. lot more than space. You are a really good flier."

She clears her throat. "Scenario 43..." and the obstacle course vanishes now. Moments later the room shimmers and a new scene appears. This one is ... more .. mobile. Robots. Everywhere. This isn't the infamous Brainiac Drone simulator but there are flying drones and robot spiders. All of them look sharp and armed. Right now they are frozen in time hanging there midair and motionless on the ground. "Okay. Show me your chops." then she says "Initiate program, ignore Hawkeye."

Evrything springs into motion, a dozen of the drones, six and six, suddenly orientating and starting to aim. The ground units look like they have little laser canons and the air ones like they are sharp, scythes, and start to swoop.

Yeah she went 0-60 after the initial appraisal there.

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina, after a few moments, stops feeling the admiring eyes on her, and is certainly focusing on her task at hand. "Oh! Thank you! I... can't suppress those... I can... be less bright... " Swoop. "...but flying just trails it behind me..." Woosh. She's not a stealthy flier by any stretch of the imagination, but at least she can hide it until she needs it. "I'm used to flying around the city, when I feel like I need to spread my wings... whoa!" One could almost hear the screech of brakes as she halts, quite swiftly, and sees the shift in the scenery.

"Oh... you want me to... dodge them, or fight them?" she asks, looking to her adorable teacher for guidance. "Because when you say 'chops' I want to know if you meant barriers, or dodging or--" ZAP! She's hit, right in the middle of the back, having spent too much time talking and not enough time fighting. But all it does is make her wince, and stumble a little in the air. "Hey!" she shouts at the nearest spider, and then gets shot again by a different one.

There's no indication of even a tiny singe, though. The bolts get absorbed into her, much like the warzoon fighters laser cannons did. They're not exactly convenient or pleasant feeling but she doesn't look like they're actually doing anything to her. Still, she holds both arms out, in either direction, forming a bright, scintillating shell of her energy, the spherical shield around her rippling and fizzling as she awaits a more specific order. She's so polite! Even as air drones menace their way over.

Kate Bishop has posed:
"Huh okay so you absorb lasers... good to know... though how tough are you if things physically smack you?" she is trying to figure out what actually to have the training simulations account for and mimic as damage. Since none of this is really lethal after all.

She grins though watching and walking along the floor watching what you do. "Definitely fight them... but before you do.. would being cut by fast blades actually hurt you or are you tough like the durable members of the team Karolina?"

At some point Kate picked up her tablet and made some adjustments, energy attacks like the lasers won't have any effect on you but being absorbed now.

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Well, I do, yes," Karolina keeps the barriers up, "...bullets and really good blades can cut, but I do have a pretty thick skin?" she suggests. "I'm not really used to getting shot at!" she laughs. "So I think there'd be some issue with bladework? Like, if it's super sharp? Do you want me to get hit and test it out?" she asks. "Like... do you need to calibrate it or something for me?" She's definitely into this, even if the science of it isn't quite her wheelhouse.

For now, though, she lowers the shell, and takes off, getting some distance and sending a fist-sized sunblast at one of the spiderbots, while sweeping her other arm to knock back some of the flying ones, waiting for a final order. She's at least fighting, and flying, and dodging for right now. It's a fun dance, at least, getting more practice with her maneuverability in a less casual environment.

Kate Bishop has posed:
"We are kind of calibrating but there is no real danger in the danger room... when you take a hit there is a flash of light and it wraps like a hard light forceshield around the limb in question so it mimics being disabled or locked up. That way we can kind of simulate taking hits and all."

She grins up to you in your bubble as the little drones bounce off it. "So I can't really hit you and see how it hurts you .. so I'm needing to tune it in based on your feedback."

This is way beyond just helping in movies technology.

She makes some adjustments. "also if you're not use to being shot at Karo... hmm is that an okay nickname.. Kar..." she tries a few feeling them out. "Then we will definitely have you in here training until you are use to it."

She watches you blast a spiderpot and then knock back the final ones. This is good. Still she tweaks it and has three of the flying drones zip in hard and fast with blades. If any hit the room will lock the limb in a wrap forceshield making it useless really.

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Oh! That's neat!" Karolina calls out, smiling. "Um... Kar works? Karol? Karo? Ah I have no idea," she laughs. "Pick whichever one you think is the cutest?" she offers. "And... I'm ok with that. The training. My last... um... team... wasn't quite... like this..." she focuses on aerial maneuvers, trying to avoid the three drones chasing her now. Still, she laughs, and seems to concentrate her offensive on the spiderbots moreso than the flying drones, wanting to at least get the ranged attackers out of the way.

"I just imagine... it'd be hard... to get the metrics... when it's a simulation...?" she isn't sure if the blades will, or are supposed to do anything, still coming to terms with how rough the play here is supposed to be, or not. But the drones catch up to her when she pauses, and ends up having an arm and a leg locked out for her trouble. Despite this, she still seems able to fight back, her free arm more than capable of hurling bright, exploding sunbolts.

"This feels weeeeeird!" she calls out.

Kate Bishop has posed:
"We will be focusing on both team training and also team exercises as well. It be good and I can promise you will be learning a lot of tactics that will hopefully save your life and the lives of your friends."

She is watching very closely as you prioritize the spider bots which have already proven to be not a threat, she is taking mental notes. "Yeah we aren't out to inflict pain as a teacher.. despite what Robin might feel is the best instructor." she grins as you spin around with two 'injured' limbs blasting the drones. "In this case your arm and leg are injured and useless... but you have flight and can blast from your other limbs so that is good.. can you kick blasts of light I wonder..." that last part is more about her own curiousity.

"If they had hit you in the head though it would be a full body lockup.. bad wound and all."

She says louder. "Simulation clear."

Everything fades including the limb lock force shields around the leg and arm. "Got the hang of the basics Kar... what did your old team do to train?"

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina pauses when the simulation is cut, nodding. "Well, I don't think anyone wants to be blasted in the head, or sliced in the head, or anything..." she hovers there, a dozen feet up, looking down at Kate. "I don't think I've tried to use my legs? Maybe I could?" she ponders this, but for now, floats down closer and finally sort of lands next to Kate, though she's still about an inch up.

"I.. we.. didn't.. really train. Not like this. I mean, we got into fights... and..." she laughs, "..our old battlecry was basically 'try not to die!' ... we were just a bunch of misfit kids with evil parents, operating out of an abandoned hostel in a sinkhole..." She sits. And by sits, she kind of just hugs her knees up against her chest but stays at eye-level height with kate.

She shakes her head, "..simpler days, we just watched each others' backs and tried not to get each other hurt... it's crazy I'm going back to doing all this stuff, just... with higher stakes and a better equipped group? So, I mean..." she gives a sideways smile again. "...I can do neat stuff with my powers but I have a lot to learn about other things, you know...?"

Kate Bishop has posed:
Kate looks mildly worried about the whole group of misfit kids whose battle cry was not to die. She blinks at Karolina as she settles in sitting at eye height there and continues to listen. "Okay I wish I could fly. I'll totally own that and admit it.. that has to be amazing just able to hover and fly like this." she smiles though.

"Well we all watch each others back too and we try to not get each other hurt for sure. Also you are using your gifts to help people.. it is an ansolutely good purpose Karo... not any crazier than I am I guess." she smiles. "As for learning.. yeah lots to learn but it will help make you a better hero, keep you safe, and keep your teammates like me safe. Win win." she reaches up and boops the tip of your nose with her fingertip.

Karolina Dean has posed:
It really is concerning. At least she left out the whole part where everyones' parents were members of a sort of cult ruled by ancient beings and did annual sacrifices? Well, she covered some of that. But the curry was more important that time. "You can fly, I mean... you can ride with me? I can carry you..." she smiles warmly, offering her hands down.

"And.. yeah... I'm happy to help people. It's... it feels really, really good. After I moved, I thought I could just... live a normal life... wear my bracelet, go to school, cultivate vegetables... but when someone needed help, I just... had to help... and... it's a really good feeling... you know?" she asks quietly. "...I can also use my shields on others, and... trap people inside of them too, if they need to be locked down so there's that..."

Of course, the moment she's booped, she blue-screens for a moment, blinking at it. And then for whatever reason, she dips her head forward and tries to lick the fingertip before it gets away. At least she's not trying to kiss Kate?

Kate Bishop has posed:
Well she sort of covered parts of the parents being supervillains. So Kate already has a bit of that 411 so now she watches the reaction to the nose boop. Also her finger being licked. She laughs. "Those are all things we are going to need to know. Being able to shield other people and also being able to lock people down... really quite good things." she gives a thoughtful look.

"Give me a ride, want to see how you handle passengers." or at least she likes to fly.

Karolina Dean has posed:
Thankfully, they're no longer supervillains. Because they're no longer. Full stop. At least the lick earns a laugh, and Karolina seems... relieved at the reaction. "That's probably the full list? I mean I can suppress the powers, if I wanted, but... oh right you saw that! The bracelet makes it easier. Um, I don't know what it's made out of though but whatever it is.... I... guess it could be a liability if someone were to weaponize it? I guess you could say whatever it's made of is like, my weakness?" she offers.

Then a nod, and a laugh, "ALright, um. Hm. Hop on?" she looks Kate over, and holds out her arms. She isn't sure how the other girl wants to do this, or how she wants to be held. The way she's holding out her arms though makes it look like it's a bridal or princess carry by default. And the offer is there to literally hop on!

Kate Bishop has posed:
"Yeah definitely never tell anyone else about the bracelet suppressing your powers. Also be careful who you give it to Karo. If you need to talk about it say it helps you like a focus enabling you to more easily focus yourself on surprising your glow, sort of like a cloaking aid." she grins at her own idea. Okay someone thinks they are clever.

"All aboard." she notes with a laugh and then steps in closer and wraps her arms around Karolina's waist with one arm and around her shoulder with the other. She has.. amazing upper body strength. She also probably figures Karolina will wrap too... though she pauses and loosens her grip then directs Karolina on where to put her arms before wrapping her up again. "Donna usually does this..."

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Well, I mean, I'm only telling you because I think the team needs to know... like if my powers stop working because someone threw a ninja star at me made of the stuff..." Karolina says with a little frown. "...because I trust you guys with it..." she says gently. "Otherwise, I just... yeah. The focus thing, it works..." she nods. Then holds still as Kate steps closer.

Her cheeks brighten, again, as the girl is so close. So warm! Karolina's warm, too. Her powers keep her warm, even if she suppresses the glow. The embrace is nice, and she seems to be distracted by it for a moment, until her hands are placed where needed. "Like that? Ok!" she nods, smiling, blushing in her own way, and takes off. Effortlessly. "You want to turn that other program back on? The first one?" she asks, playful tone in her voice. Maybe she just wants Kate to hold on a little tighter.

Kate Bishop has posed:
"Good, I'm glad you trust us with the secret and I'll be sure to pull any strange darts, ninja stars, or knives out of you worst comes to worst." she grins.

"Huh.. sure... Activate Scenario 27" and the pillars and large hoops for flying through along with stationary targets all materialize once more in the danger room. "Now I'll hold on tight but you hold on too, I'd hate to have to get a cast for my leg or arm." she teases. Mostly because well she is pretty sure Karolina isn't as strong as Donna or Supergirl. This is still a good leap of faith sort of test though.

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina certainly cannot hold a candle to the likes of Kara and Donna. But she's still pretty strong! Strong enough to not have any issues holding on to Kate. "Thanks, I appreciate it! I'll be very worried if someone has weapons made of... whatever that stuff is..." She doesn't know either. Maybe she'll be lucky and others don't, too. But then she grins as the course shifts.

"Oh! Of course! I'll hold on to you! I won't drop you, I promise." It's sincere, and she smiles, even if her heart is racing. Still, she stays on task, trying to ignore Kate's form held snug in her arms and holding tight to her, and flies. She seems to have no issue picking up speed, though she's definitely more cautious around the more packed-tightly obstacles, weaving around the pillars slower until she's more confident in her hold on you.

Kate Bishop has posed:
That was honestly all part of the test, knowing how strong Karo is will be very helpful. She may need to have one of the science dorks figure out how resistant Karo is later to fine tune that stuff.

"Well don't lose your bracelet and I imagine no one will have any supplies of it. I would just glue arrow it onto you before the fight even started tho... much easier than theft and reforging."

Kate splits her attention now between the obstacles incoming and then the girl carrying her through them. At one point she shifts and wraps her legs around Karolina's so they are just dangling as the other girl picks up speed.

This is clearly not the first time she has been carried by a flier. "Very good!" a little louder due to the speed.

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karo, in reality, could probably strap a few members of the team to herself if she needed to get them to safety. After all, she's not trying to deadlift them, her flight seems unrelated to her physical strength, to a degree. She does, however, tense when those legs go around her, and her arms tighten a bit reflexively. She almost tumbles into the edge of a ring, before banking hard and careening into the slalom course.

"You're so warm..." she says quietly, though maybe it is, or isn't easy to hear. But she's made her bed and now she deals with it. Your more secure position makes it easier for her to navigate the pillars at a higher speed, though now her fingers grip a little tighter, a little more protectively as she weaves, regaining control.

Kate Bishop has posed:
Kate is enjoying the flight. She is also thinking about harnesses.

"Do you think we could manage to do some sort of handle or harness system with the fliers on the team without somehow giving really convenient handles for bad guys to use as leverage..." she muses quietly before blinking.

"Warm?" she holds on even tighter now as you start to pick up even more speed there.

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina is enjoying the flight. She is thinking about Kate.

"Harness? Handles? Kate, I don't even have a ... what do you guys call them.. super suit? Costume? Not that I need one... but I'm no designer, either. Would a harness help? If it's a rig for people to hang on to, then... it's going to be pretty convenient for enemies too then..." she ponders, thinking as she flies, sailing through the pillars, hugging Hawkeye snugly. "...maybe reinforce my belt loops and use a tether system? Get me some super jeans?" she asks with a laugh. Super jeans for her super legs!

"Y-yes... warm... it's nice..." she says quietly. She hasn't ever had a hug like this.

Kate Bishop has posed:
"Like something like that yeah... I am just afraid that it would be something bad guys could take advantage of. Maybe just for special circumstances it could be like a vest you could slip on... air drop people in.. you Donna and Supergirl... and then slip it off and drop it before getting into a real fight with bad guys. Like infiltration missions..."

"Thogh you are about as sneaky as a disco ball in a rave..." it is said with just a little bit of teasing.

"Set us down ... I think I got it."

Karolina Dean has posed:
"So no super jeans?" Karolina asks softly, playfully. Her cheeks are burning brighter, or at least, the shine around them is still pretty pronounced, and that's saying a lot with her normal shimmer. "But yeah that's the issue. I can't fly with my powers suppressed, and... um... I'd be a better distraction than an infiltrator... I mean the light devours my clothes, too..." she nods at herself. But the teasing doesn't seem to bother her. And she does, eventually, slow down and stop, moving back to ground level and slowly... reluctantly loosening her hold on Kate.

Kate Bishop has posed:
Kate lets go with a grin. "Super jeans might be a good idea in general.. I've been asking the geeks to come up with better armor for me really... I'm human fragile and all." she stretches eyeing Karolina.

"So wait light devours your clothes but when you stop glowing they come back.. how does that work?" she considers the other girl closely trying to peer past the light now.

Karolina Dean has posed:
"I know, right? I mean, I love these, they're comfy but there's enough give in the legs so I can still maneuver and..." she blinks, seeing the eyes squinting at her now. "Huh? Oh! No! Not like that!" Karolina's blush doesn't seem like it could get any brighter. "No, I mean..." she focuses, her aura dimming a little. She's still wearing clothes! The details are still there, too! The colors are just super washed out, but she's wearing jeans, and a sky blue tank top. Well. It looks more rainbow colored right now. But it's there! "..I mean it just... kind of... drowns out what I'm wearing if I'm really flaring..."

Kate Bishop has posed:
"Oh... I mean.. I wondered about that is all. Like ... I wouldn't be surprised if someone people's transformation sequence actually disinigrates their clothes and then they need to .. you know perhaps they have to remake their clothes.."

She grins "Sort of magical girl style you know?"

She fishes out your bracelet and offers it over to you now.

Karolina Dean has posed:
Karolina has no words, but she takes the bracelet and the moment metal touches flesh, her colors vanish, her body looks normal. Just another California girl. Blonde, blue eyed, and too pretty to be human. Of course, what the power suppression bracelet can't do is hide her blush. Now it's even more prominent, not fighting her glow anymore. The bracelet is slipped onto her wrist and she gives a shy smile, "...that.. would be inconvenient.... and... kind of embarrassing. I kind of need to show skin as it is, due to the sun and stuff... but.... I don't think I'm that much of an exhibitionist to want to get naked every time I channel my powers..." she laughs, clasping her hands behind her back. "...but I guess I'm kind of a magical girl then?"

Kate Bishop has posed:
"Wait until you meet Kori.... hmm Karo and Kori.. interesting. She is an alien on the team... Starfire.. I think she may be a little bit solar powered too. Honestly Supergirl is sort of solar powered too.."

"Also yes, you are sort of a magic girl. Lets go get some food and take a break. I'll work on some scenarios for the danger room and give you access to them. That way you can come down here and practice some even if I am not around okay?" she smiles and gestures towards the elevator. "Join me?"

Karolina Dean has posed:
"Starfire? I mean that kind of sounds like my power set... I wonder if she's from the same planet as me... wishful thinking though?" Karolina gives kind of a small, slightly sad smile, but she stays close to Kate. "So a lot of solarpowered aliens in the Titans?" she asks. "Maybe we're all plants or something..." she says with a laugh, nodding now. "And... yeah, I could use something to eat. And some sun, speaking of. That's... tiring... using all the things. There's no sunlight in the Danger Room, so if you really want to push me to my limits, this is the place..."
