Helena Bertinelli has posed:
It is a very clear night in New City York and the moon shimmers off the watery roof of a short, abandoned building in the slums of the city. It seems to have just stopped raining and HUNTRESS stands on the roof's edge, looking down into a dark, eerie alleyway.

A thin wisp of a man turns into the alleyway and stops midway to light up a cigarette. Huntress watches him intently, as if she expected him to be there. He puffs away for a few moments, and she can tell he has a gun tucked away under his overcoat. Strangely enough, he wears sunglasses even though he's standing in the shadows.

Huntress pulls her crossbow like she's in the old west and drops down into the alley, surprising this mystery man. She holds up her crossbow and smirks, "Don't move, asshole." He smirks too and makes a run for it, back toward the street! Uh oh!

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo had been on patrol. The newly named Silver Spider was running and leaping from rooftop to rooftop, each time he jumped off a wall he picked up a little bit of speed. His white and silver spider man outfit almost a blur as went. He spotted movement, just catching Huntress when she dropped down into the alley. That caught his attention.

He ricocheted off the next roof, and did a backflip, soaring through the air to land at the end of the alley, surprising the fleeing man. "Well well well... What have we here?" He asked curiously, pulling a golden brass throwing disk from his sleeve. "What's going on here?"

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress aims her crossbow carefully at the man's back and then mutters, perhaps rethinking this strategy, instead taking off after him on foot. "Watch out!" she yells as Johnny Gallo drops in on the party.

A car at the curb of the street seems to stir with activity, and a large man climbs out of the driver's seat, "'ay, where'd you go? You smokin' two packs?" he wonders, squinting at what's going on, trying to figure it out.

The fleeing man quick draws a gun from...somewhere and points it at Johnny Gallo, firing almost immediately! Uh no! The man looks to be in quite a rush to get out of the alleyway and away from... Huntress!

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo moved before instinct could even kick in, his danger sense saving his life once more. He Neo dodged the bullet, which slammed into the waiting car, and at the same time, spun and let the disk fly. The brass looking disk looked to fly wide till it hit the wall, bounced, seeming to pick up speed, and then slammed into the gunman's wrist with a sickening crunch. "No no... Why can't we just talk this out?" He put his hand out just on cue as the disk flew back to him to catch. "I bet you didn't even see this coming... What with the shades and all. What are you, a vampire or something?" He laughed, and sing songed, "I wear my sunglasses at night... Nana na naaa na daa... I don't know all the words." He shrugged.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
The man at the street ducks as his car window shatters thanks to the fortunate wild shot from the fleeing man, "Hey!" he lets out. He takes off toward the entrance to the alleyway to help his pal.

Meanwhile, the fleeing man's gun skids across the ground and stops at the feet of Huntress. She smirks a bit as she stands there waiting for the next move, "He calls himself QuickDraw, which seems pointless at the moment," she explains helpfully. QuickDraw is clutching his wrist as Johnny disarms him and hurts his wrist all in one motion. He's not deterred though, and pulls...another gun (from somewhere) using his other hand and fires on Johnny Gallo again, "Freddy, get over here! Shoot these suckahs!" he yells.

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo gave a nod, "QuickDraw?... Man, he'd do better if he was making like Bob Ross and drawing some pretty little trees for friends or something.." The assassin pulled the next weapon, and fired again. Johnny was already moving, and out of the path of the shots. Their gettaway car had a number of 'speed holes' put into it though!

Johnny ducked to the side, jumped, spinning around in the air, to plant his feet on the wall, and then sprung towards the thug as he launched his disk as well. It flew and bounced off the far wall, ricocheting back with tremendous force, and slamming into the left ankle of the thug, just as Johnny's flying kick smashed into his shoulder. Going high and low on the thug, just like in football practice.

He flipped back with his momentum, landing on his feet, "HA! QuickDraw.... Que Dee... Aww... Such a cutie...." He shook his head, "You need a better handle, pal."

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress stands in the alley impatiently, with a hand on her hip, while she watches the young superhero make quick work of the thug assassin (pun). She raises her brow with interest and follows the little disc thing as it bounces around like a pinball, off a wall, and into the thug assasin.

QuickDraw oofs and grunts as Johnny kicks him and he crashes into the wall, crumpling down to the ground. Huntress bends over and retrieves the gun, dumping out the ammo idly. QuickDraw's buddy seems spooked by Johnny 'quicker' moves and turns back for the car, hopping into the driver's seat again, "That's the getaway car," Huntress reports blandly, apparently in no rush to stop it. She examines the gun more closely.

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo finally got a good look at the other hero, and gave a nod. "Yeah, gonna be easy to identify with all the bullet holes. You want me to grab him too?" He glanced to the guy jumping into the car, "Right. Yeah, sure ya do. BRB!" And with that, he picked up the disk at his foot, and took off at a run.

On foot, normally, he's able to keep up with cars in light traffic, but, as there was little this time of night, he'd have to get creative as the speeding car took off. As the car rounded a corner, Johnny just barely had time to see the bus the driver had missed by the narrowest of fashions, but, which slammed right into Johnny at full force. "Woohooo!"

And with that battle cry, Johnny rocketed forward through the air, landing on the roof of the car. Shots rang out, but, with his danger sense so honed, he dodged them each. He gripped the top of the rim of the windshield, went up into a handstand, twirled, and spun down, slammed a double footed kick to the face of the driver. He went unconcious, the car slammed into a pole. Johnny was shot out, bounced off the wall, and up into the air to kill his momentum.

A few minutes later, he made it back to the alley with the driver dragging on the ground behind him. "I don't do the bow tie like the other spiders. No webs." He gave a shrug and tossed the guys foot down that he'd been using to drag him.

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Helena Bertinelli is still standing in the alleyway when Johnny returns, "Good job, kid," she tells him, "I could take the weekend off," she mutters, glancing over Johnny, as if wondering who he is OR what he is.

The two thugs are out for the count and Huntress explains, "They're from Gotham City," she tells him. She croutches down to search them, "There's been a lot of mafia movement lately---been trying to figure out why," she tells Johnny.

Huntress stands up again and looks at Johnny now, "You know anything about this?" she wonders.

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo shook his head, "Not a bit. I wasn't even sure which of you to take in till he started shooting at me." He laughed, "I'm your friendly neighborhood Silver Spider." He looked over the pair of thugs, "I don't know much about mafia stuff. They usually stay out of our neighborhood. Easily half a dozen spider people around here." He laughed at that, "Though, if you have a number, I'll gladly let you know if they pop up again."

"Who are you anyway? Gotham is Batman territory, yeah? Are you one of his crew?"

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress eyes Johnny and smirks some as he claims she's one of Batman's flunkies and sidekicks, "Huntress," she tells him, "Are you Spider-Man's sidekick?" she asks in retort.

"They came all this way for a reason and I'd like to know why. Nothing on them. Maybe they were making a pick-up, not a drop..." Huntress muses as she looks back and forth through the alley. She then looks at Johnny again, "Here take this number and page me if something comes up. Or if you see more Gotham guys crawling around," she tells him, and hands over a little card.

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo gave a nod, "Huntress. Got it. And no, not a sidekick... More like a... simultaneous evolution of a similar ideal." He grinned behind the mask and took the offered card. "You've got your OG Spider-Man, Silver Spider which is yours truly, Scarlet Spider, when he's around, and a few other's I've yet to meet on the weird wide web." He glanced at the card, and then slipped it into his jacket pocket. "Maybe it was a joy ride? Lots of fine sight seeing in New York. It's not all dark and gloomy like Gotham. Played at Gotham Central High School once... Had that... Prison vibe..."

Helena Bertinelli has posed:
Huntress hmms as she regards the thugs while Johnny gives theories, "A joy ride?" she says with a squint, "Not sure about that. Mafia types usually have business and I'm sure they wouldn't leave Gotham without reason," she tells him.

She looks at Johnny again, "Keep your eyes open. Maybe we can figure out what business is going on," she tells him. "See ya later, kid."

Johnny Gallo has posed:
Johnny Gallo nodded, "Sure thing, Huntress." He gave a wave, and with a last look over the thugs and the fellow hero, he jumped and started to pinball his way back to the roofs to get a move on once more, "See you around!" He called out, and then was gone in a flash of silver.
