Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Looking to Jessica when when she opens the door, Kyani smiles to her. "Hello." he says to her and he holds out an iPad with her information for the package. There is an area for her to sign for the package. "Yeah, here you go." he says to her and he holds out the iPad to her to sign with her finger. Once she signs he hands her the package.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Five floors up and most of the time the elevator is out of order. Not the most salubrious New York address but it's what Jessica can afford. New York makes San Fransisco rents look like child's play. The radiators are working overtime today so she has propped the sash window up with a book to even out the temperature but, of course, it's a balmy March day out. Leather jacket over the back of her chair, large, wooden desk that came to her through Goodwill covered with photos, Jessica is sipping a mug of coffee, a hand massaging her forehead.

The front door, a straight shot from her front desk, has a discreet black and white sign on it, JD - Private Investigator.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Kyani was already busy and it wasn't like his boss didn't know about his abilties, it's how Kyani made his money. Having been given a package that's already been delayed. He hated getting these packages, mainly due to the person who is waiting is going to blame him for how slow things were. Kyani took the large envelope, it didn't matter, he got paid regardless. It's not even a thing for him and he is already on the fifth floor knocking on the door, "Quicktime Deliveries." he announces himself.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Frowning at the door, Jessica had heard him coming down the hall, she stares at it like she is adding X-Ray vision to her powers. A couple of strides take her to the door. She opens it, her eyes going up and then further up to look the delivery man in the eyes. Mouth open she frankly stares for a moment, then comes to herself, pushes her mane of black hair back from her face and gestures to her desk.
"Do I need to sign for it?"

Jessica Drew has posed:
Jessica is hardly one coffee into what has become a late start to her morning. It doesn't make her smile. When she realizes who the sender is, that smile is going to be a long time coming. She does what she swears she'll never do, she narrows her eyes at the messenger. "Did you have trouble finding my office? The detective swore he sent it three days

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Kyani was watching for this and yup there it was, he sighs and shakes his head. "It was late getting to us." he says to her. "I just got it today and brought it here to you. I don't know who said when they sent it, but we just got it today." he states.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Rubbing her forehead, Jessica nods unhappily and walks to her desk with the package to search for a pen. He didn't hand her one so...

"Elevator working or did you have to hoof it up here?" She grabs a pen and signs on the clipboard, handing it back to him.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Watching Jessica sign on the iPad, he shakes his head. "I huffed up the stairs, it's all good, I'm pretty good at getting around." eh smiles as he leans against the door. "Well did you have anything you need sent out or is this all you need for now?" he asks as he looks at Jessica, watching her for a moment and looking at the rest of her office.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Jessica nods unhappily and scribbles something approximating her signature on the IPAD. She takes the package and walks it back to the desk.
"Elevator working or did you have to hoof it up here?"

Jessica Drew has posed:
"I need a cup of coffee," she mutters to herself. "You want a coffee? I just made a pot."Jessica's voice is distinctly English, the vowels clipped and the consonants staccato.

Eyeing the photograph strewn desk she shakes her head. "No, if I had received this yesterday maybe. As it is, why don't you give me your company's card. How much does a cross town courier cost, anyway?"

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Walking into the office and closing the door, "Sure, I'm pretty thirsty." he smiles as he looks at her. He takes the iPad and places it in his backpack. "I make some good money doing what I do." he smiles. "Besides, Mack has a good team of messengers he employs." he states and he hands one of the cards to Jessica. "This one has my personal number, so if you need something delivered at any time let me know. I can get there pretty damn fast." he says as he gestures to chair, "May I?"

Jessica Drew has posed:
Taking the card from him, she examines it with a sardonic smile tugging at one corner of her mouth. "Personal number? Not afraid of strangers, are you? Take a seat," Jessica nods at the chair facing the desk then goes to the other side to tidy the photos into a neat pile. The uppermost being a man in profile - a mugshot.

A coffeemaker sits on a table in a corner of the room with a small fridge under it. "How do you take it?" She asks pouring herself coffee.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
"I take it black." he says to her. Kyani nods his head, "I dont' mind, it's the best way to make money and part of the service fees go to my job the rest to me. Unless you don't want to do through the company, all the money goes to me." he says to her. "I don't mind, I have bills just like everyone else." he says to her.

"So you're a P.I." he says. "How long have you been doing this?" he asks as he looks at her.

Jessica Drew has posed:
Handing him the cup of coffee, Jessica takes her own and reseats herself on the other side of the desk. "Since I arrived on these fair shores of your country. I was on the west coast until recently, LA, San Fransisco. So, a few years now. Just getting established here in the City." She opens a drawer to take out a card that she reaches across the desk to put down in front of him. "Take one. I have plenty of them. You never know when you might need a P.I."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Taking the card he smiles, "Cool." he says to her. He also takes the coffee and sips at it. "Well seeing as your still in buisness your doing well." he chuckles. "I've been doing this for about a year now." he says to her. "I like it, the hours are pretty damn good and the pay isn't bad at all." he smiles. When she speaks about having been in LA and San Fran, he nods his head. "I've been through there a few times." he says to her. "I hope to head back sometime."

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Are you from here? Or did you a late arrival like myself?" After a sip of coffee and a frank appraisal of her visitor, the young woman adds, "You don't /look/ like a messenger not that I know what they look like. It's just. You're a big guy!"

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
"I'm from here." he says to her proudly. "Thanks." he says as he watches Jess look him over. "I got skills, which is why I'm able to do this job pretty damn fast and probably one of the best messengers in the city." he states.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Skills," Jessica echos with a lift of an eyebrow. "Ah. What kind of skills?" She takes another sip of coffee watching him steadily over the rim of the cup.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
He shrugs and he doesn't move to her, but she will a large piping hot pizza appear and well a cool rush of wind against her skin and some papers fly up in the air but than suddenly laid back down on her desk. He eats a slice of pizza, "Notice anything different?" he asks.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Nom de dieu! Did you...is that?" Jessica pushes her chair back, sets her coffee cup down and stands in shock. "That. What exactly was that?" A faint blue sheen forms around her fists that she holds at her side while the office fills with the aroma of hot cheese and pepperoni.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Quirking a brow as he eats his pizza, "That's pretty cool." he points at her blue fists. "I can move pretty damn fast and honestly that was pretty slow, I wanted you to try to see what I was doing." he laughs. "Again, it's why I do well at my job." he winks at her. "You good, I don't think you can catch me and I'm no slouch in a fight." he says as he looks at her and as he does she will see lightning crackle around his eyes. "You asked." he says.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"That was slow?" With an agitated shake of her hands the blue disappears but she remains standing with her eyes narrowed at him. "A lot of people don't take kindly to meta humans. What made you think you could do that around me?"

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
He sighs and stands up, "You asked a question, but I see this was not a good thing. My bad, I know how people are around Metas." he says to her. "It wasn't ok, I will get going." he says to her. "Keep the pie, it's from Joey's one of the BEST pizza places ever." eh smiles.

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Oh, relax. You're not the only one. I must have a face that you can trust." Still watching him, Jessica reaches for a slice of pizza and takes a small bite then seats"Mmmm. This is delicious. What it it called, Joey's?"

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Oh, relax. You're not the only one. I must have a face that you can trust." Still watching him, Jessica reaches for a slice of pizza and takes a small bite then seats herself. "Mmmm. This is delicious. What it it called, Joey's?"

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
He yawns and sits back down and takes another slice, "I'm just upfront about what I do." he says to her. "Most can't catch what they can't see at times and seeing as I don't just do delivieries within this city, it was a good question." he says to her. "Yeah it's Joey's." he says to her.

Jessica Drew has posed:
After taking another bite, Jessica pulls out napkins from her desk drawer and hands him one, then wipes her fingers with the other thoughtfully. "That. That is quite a talent. So, I can't blame you for my package arriving late. And you say that your boss knows? What's his name? Your's is Kyani, right?" She asks looking first at the card and then at his face.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
"Thanks." he chuckles. "My boss knows I get around fast, though he doesn't tell anyone. We have an understanding, which is why I'm giving a lot of deliveries so that it doesn't look odd or anything." eh smiles. "As for your package, yea, not the companies fault, probably whoever sent it, it look like it was sent snail mail to us for some reason." he shrugs. "Yup."

Jessica Drew has posed:
"Sometimes snail mail is safer, believe it or not." Another bite of pizza allows her to think. "Who do you run stuff for besides your boss, Kyani?"

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Thinking about her question, "I don't run drugs or that shit. I hate thugs, bangers and drug dealers. I mainly do parcels for my boss, also some small businesses and from retirement homes." he says. "Some people just need help."

Jessica Drew has posed:
Taking another slice of pizza, Jessica relaxes back into her chair, "Yes. They do. Just that. Kyani, I'd like you to keep in touch. I may have some people, I'd like you to meet. Some good people who dislike thugs, bangers and drug dealers as much as you seem to do." She gestures with the slice, "I mean, of course, if you'd like to do that."
