Tinyplot: War of the Mouser

Casey Jones has posed:
Tonight was a quiet night, in the rotten apple: no crime that the group stumbled on, nothing to do but grab a pizza. Pre called in dropped off, paid for from GrubHub, the joys of modern tech. Dropped off by Casey's garage, it's a typical spot for the turtles to use. Casey's tow truck zooming by out of the bay towards the city as he is blasting the Black Album, the finest in classic rock, in his book.

Casey's garage is nothing special, just three bays, and an apartment over it with the lights off. It seems he is out of town again, back on the farm, or running an errand. Everything is quiet, so dark here as he turns off the lights, the nearest lamppost is down the block. Perfect for a late-night grab of the pizza, without being spotted.

Heather Danielson has posed:
It is worth noting that the minor celeb, model, and Titan known as Knockout... aka Heather Danielson, stands on the sidewalk out front of the garage. She stayed long enough to turn out the lights and lock up after the very strange Casey left abruptly while the two of them were chatting. Okay, so he got a phonecall for a towtruck job, so she supposes she can excuse the guy. But he just took off while she was standing in the garage.
So she shook her head, turned out his lights and locked up the doors before pulling out her phone and ordering an Uber to get her back to her hotel. This left her standing out all alone in her skinny jeans, metallica teeshirt and black hoodie.
Granted, some of her blonde hair was peeking out of the hood, but most of her head and face were shrouded. Middle of the night, teen girl, standing on a sidewalk. Yeah, anyone could be excused if they thought she might be... *ahem* 'on duty'.

Raphael has posed:
It's a patrol night, and one of the neighborhoods was set up to be around Casey's garage. Having already left the sewers, Raphael and Donatello met up with Kainashi, who was going to tail them (haha), making the duo into a trio.

We will speak nothing of any potential awkwardness on the part of Raphael as a third wheel of some sort, given what he knows of the friendship that's been struck between his turtle brother and the mutant dog that was probably created to help destroy them, only to break away from her intended purpose.

Using the rooftops to get around, as they so often do, Raphael leads the way toward Casey's place, reminding quietly, "Just a look around to make sure he's still in one piece, and he said something about a pizza drop so we could fill up a bit." Halting on another building across the street, he keeps to the shadows as he surveys the place below, jerking a thumb toward the boxes waiting for someone to find. He also nods in the direction of the apparent street-walker.

April O'Neil has posed:
April was on her way past Casey's, on her bike. She'd been in the city all day, Manhattan that is, and was just now making her way back home, but she wanted to drop a few things off at Casey's before heading home. Wearing her yellow jacket, and a black backpack, with a bike helmet on, blue jeans and black running shoes, April is dressed as she often is.

On her bike, she rolls through the alley near Casey's shop and wheels out on the other side, before she squeezes the brakes and dismounts her bike, taking a moment to get the chain to hook it to the bike rack that is stuck in to the cement on the sidewalk by one of the building walls.

Donatello has posed:
On past patrols, there could have been some disagreement on the subject of who got to lead the way, whether it should be Donatello or Raphael in Leonardo's absence. Michelangelo was never in the running. Perhaps it could have been decided by a show of strength, such as arm wrestling, which would have favored Raphael. It could have easily been decided with mere luck via Rock, Paper, Scissors, which also would have favored Raphael. Tonight, however, Donatello was perfectly fine not leading the way. With Raphael in the front of the pack, the Purple One was free to occasionally glance back at Kainashi and smile if she caught him.

The city's rooftops are usually pretty boring. They typically form a nice contrast of darkness against the deep blues of the night sky. On a patrol night, however, the mutants get around by leaping from building to building, across alleyways, in fantastic displays of agility! The tallest turtle, Donatello's silhouette is larger, though svelte. His bo, usually held out to one side as he leaps, adds a certain mystery to the shape. As the group pauses their patrol to watch Casey's building, Donatello reaches back to tuck his bo into the sleeve on his shell, and squints, as it to get a better look.

"Hey, look! It's April," he whispers, glancing over his shoulder, first at Raphael and then at Kainashi.

Kainashi has posed:
And behind the two, Kainashi was on a 'joint patrol', representing The Den and the other two The Lair. The canine was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and jeans as she followed behind, leaping accross alleyways with ease as she keeps up with the green brothers. Her hood was down, her ears up, feeling the wind in the slightly-longer-and-more-wiry 'hair' on her head as she pauses, skidding carefully to a stop as Donatello tucks his bo.

Her head cants to one side, her hands on the side of the building, tail drawn up in curiosity as she looks down at April, and at the human in the dark coat. She sniffs the air a moment, as if trying to pick up others in the area.

"Which one's April?" she asks Donnie quietly.

Heather Danielson has posed:
The Uber sure is taking its time. Heather glances down to her smartwatch which displays the ETA. 27 minutes. She sighs and grouses as she shoves her hands in the pockets of her jacket.
But then she turns to glance back over her shoulder in a moment of worry as she ponders whether she actually managed to lock the place up properly. She reaches up to lower her hood as she does so in order to be able to see the whole place.

Raphael has posed:
There hasn't been much glancing back on the part of Raphael. It's easier that way to just pretend it's him on patrol by himself, or Raphael and Donatello. He knows Kainashi is supposed to be on their side overall, and he's even been around her before without major incident, but trust is slower to build in some turtles than it is others. Besides, he kept his own pace up here and it was up to them to match it or lag behind.

"Yeah, that's her jacket all right," he answers, squinting through the eye holes in his red bandana. "Didn't think she was around here too. If that dummy ordered any pineapple, we can give them to her. But what's with the other one down there?" If it was just April, he'd probably be down at street level already.

April O'Neil has posed:
April approaches Casey's shop, still wearing her bike helmet, along with the black backpack, and her black messenger bag as well, slung at he rhip. She pulls a pair of keys out, and Heather will likely hear them, and see April just stepping up to the shop to open it up again.

"Shi--" April quietly curses as she drops the keys and has to squat down to pick them up off of the ground. The reporter having NO Idea that the turtles are on patrol tonight here near Casey's place.

Retrieving the keys, April raises up again and starts to sort through them to get the right one to unlock the shop so she can get inside, like she's done countless times over the last year.

Donatello has posed:
For Kainashi, Donatello reaches a hand out to point a finger towards the young woman locking up her bicycle. He pokes his finger in that direction, twice, to indicate that she's April. The other human waiting for her Uber earns a squint from Donatello. When she lowers her hood, remembering her becomes trivial. She was just here the other day!

"Hey, I know her, too," Donatello adds, squinting one eye as he pulls the mental splinter. "Well, I don't know her, but she's a Titan. She was here getting her car fixed by Casey. He sort of left me with her." The turtle exhales a lungful of air as he recalls being left alone with an unfamiliar human.

The obvious question comes forward. "What's she doing here?" he wonders aloud, glancing to Raphael and then to Kainashi, as if either of them might know the answer to that. His eye ridges raise a touch, considering why she might be hanging around Casey's shop this late. Raphael's jab about pineapple pizza earns a brief sideways glance from Donatello.

"You know, I happen to like it," he defends, looking to Kainashi and then his brother. They both know that and probably each hate him just a little bit for it! With a slight grin, one earned from knowing that he's the lone dissenter on the controversial pizza topping, Donatello turns back to consider the pair of humans down below. "She already knows about me," he admits, a touch of shame in his voice, which is soon replaced with annoyance. Casey!

Kainashi has posed:
"But he likes pineapple..." Kainashi states in lame defense of Donatello, mildly protective as she gives a side-eye to Raphael.
"Humans are so weird, but the girls are so pretty." Kainashi states, a little bit of wistfulness in her voice as she breathes out, and then rubs the back of her head, then looks to Donatello and Raphael.

"Ssssssoooooo.... are we going down to meet them?"

Casey Jones has posed:
As they are chatting, the world erupts into a sound, rusty metal scraping along clean metal, both inside of the building the turtles are standing on and also underground all of a sudden, the sound of metal, that rusty scraping sound of something new on something old can be heard. Rusted metal bending twisting out of the way, something is in the sewer.

Heather Danielson has posed:
At first, Heather is about to speak up to ask what April is doing here. But she seems to have keys. So she must belong her. The weirdo -did- mention having a girlfriend... sorta. Heather had a tough time understanding the man as it is.
But she turns to approach the garage when she spots April heading inside.
She pats her stomach which... someone in a bit of distance might be able to hear it growl. She is -hungry-.

Raphael has posed:
"That's why I ain't sure we're related sometimes," Raphael says flatly to Donatello after the confirmation of his love of pineapple is established again. No doubt he's joking, but he often has a way of saying things that make them seem intended that way. Someone would have to know him well enough, like Donatello does.

However, Heather becomes their focus long enough for Raph to learn about how Donnie knows her, leading to him staring at his brother, and Kainashi, for a few long moments before he says anything else. When he does, it's Raph logic on full display.

"Wait. Does that mean she's like his backup in case he strikes out with April? And they're both here at the same time? What if he gets back and they're both havin' a catfight or somethin'?"

The question of heading down is answered by Raphael starting to stand back up, only to pause and tilt his head at something. Those pizzas are still down there, but it seems as if something's caught his attention. "You guys hear that?" Instinctively, the sai appear in both hands.

April O'Neil has posed:
April doesn't seem to really pay Heather much mind, it's Brooklyn at a high traffic time, there's lots of people all over the place... and she's been riding for the past twenty minutes, she just wants to get inside and get this heavy backpack off.

So when the door opens, April is stepping inside-- she hears the metalic noises --but she doesn't react to them as she's got the door to the shop open and is heading on in, flipping lights on. "Casey?" April calls out, before she does pause to look back outside.

Was that a garbage truck making all that noise?

She starts to take her messenger bag off, and wanders further on in to the shop, leaving the door partiall open for now.

Donatello has posed:
Kainashi's comment earns the softest of frowns from Donatello as he makes a point to turn his head to keep both eyes on her. He opens his mouth, briefly finding it difficult to pick the right words from the thousands zipping by in his mind at the present moment. "Kai..." he begins softly. His tone is suggestive that there are words coming to reassure her, as if to share something that might describe her position in his mind, something she's undoubtedly heard from the turtle before. But, Raphael's sudden stare earns a quick snap of attention from Donatello, and his mouth goes empty. "Uh," he tries, a discomfort taking over as the turtle desperately tries to figure this out. "Um."

Luckily for Donatello and his awkwardness, something terrible starts happening below ground. Like his brother, the turtle reaches back to pull his bo and then looks to Kainashi for her reaction to the sound. Of the three of them, it would be her that would have to call the shots here.

Kainashi has posed:
Kainashi hears it first. Distracted, her ears prick up, the sound of metal on metal. Grinding. Rusty. Scraping. Oxidized. Dropping, echoing, gnawing. Her ears draw up further, her eyes close as she tries to pick up on the flavor. Rusted metal grinding on itself has a peely, broken sound. New metal squeals and cries out.

She reaches over, and then gives a knock on Donatello's shell, before she hops down after Raphael, drawing her hood back up to not scare the pretty human ladies with her scarred up face.

It'd be terrible if they fainted.

"I heard it." she replies in her squeaky voice to Raphael, and with a pull at her bag she has a weighted chain out, and with a practied motion she draws it around her wrist and forearm. Her ears wiggle beneath the hood a moment as she tries to zero in.

"... underground." she states. "It's a lotta metal, an' it's gettin' closer." She winces. "I Don't like it."

Casey Jones has posed:
Rising out of the underground and out of the bottom of the building is a sea of silver bodies in motions too many to count of them rushing forward down the old tunnels, some of them leaping into pipes them running down the dirty pavement. Each of them holding bags between the silver metal jaws, and they are fleeing from something. Short legs running, with stumpy little hands that they are using to move items out of the way or climb higher over buildings, through nooks and crannies. They look like mice, like a better term, little robotic mice, beady red eyes, and little claws.

Right than police sirens' sound can be heard in the distance, 4 of them running through the Bronx. The lights coming up as they are rushing past the shop, but not turning down the street, it seems whatever they are rushing to is far away. Two choices for the group to check out, both of them in a matter of seconds to do so.

Heather Danielson has posed:
Right. Those sounds. Heather is the last to hear them. She inclines her head and speeds up her approach. It sounds weird, but this late at night, it could be anything. But then... silver thingamagoobers with bags and... fleeing. What in the actual flark?
She rushes towards the door April just entered, and then turns to face the oncoming swarm. "Cyber-Mice?" She asks. "I suggest you stay inside there!" She calls to April, "I'll keep them outside!" And she places herself where she can guard the door, not knowing what is -really- going on.

April O'Neil has posed:
April is inside the auto shop, not aware of what's going on outside. She's at one of the desks and setting the backpack down inside one of the drawers when she hears Heather calling inside the shop to her. this makes the dark haired woman look up and narrow her eyes. "What?" She calls back out.

Kicking the cabinet shut with the laptop filled with Casey's new World of Warcraft gaming computer inside of it, April moves toward the front of the shop, only to catch a glimpse of what's going on outside.

"What the hell..." The Reporter says,m drawing her phone from her jacket pocket she starts to bring up her video camera, aiming it out of the shop to record what's going on!

"Hey, who are you!?" April calls out to Heather then.

Raphael has posed:
There are enough of them that the ground rumbles a bit. Sirens pass by, but they aren't something Raphael is putting much of a focus on. April's down there, so are their pizzas, there's that other person who may or may not be seeing Casey as well, and trouble's about. "Let's go. Whatever it is, we'll deal with it," he says, hopping down toward the ground quiet as can be.

But will they be able to? That's a lot of robot 'mice' scurrying about, but toward what end? As the first few reach the surface, he begins to say something pointed. "What the f..?" before cutting himself off.

Donatello has posed:
Underground. Metal. Donatello takes a breath -- the words were ominious. The knock on his shell brings Donatello's attention out of his mental abyss -- thank you! -- and his eyes move to the pavement that stands between them and the noises. After Raphael and Kainashi head down to the surface, Donatello leaps off of the edge of the building and onto the adjacent's fire escape railing. From the railing, Donatello immediately launches into a backflip and lands with his knees bent and his bo at the ready, landing on the pavement just in front of Casey's Garage.

The turtle barely has enough time to call out to April and the Titan, to warn them of the sounds giving the mutants so much caution, before the sea of robot mice come pouring out into the Bronx! "What the f..?" he mutters, almost in coincidental unison with his brother. The turtle twirls his bo in a flourish and twists to check the positions of Raphael and Kainashi.

Kainashi has posed:
She might be the least skilled, but Alopex's student is no slouch. While Donatello flipped, she hopped neatly down and landed in a three-point landing, her chain drawing up as she gives a low snarl, her lips pulling back and she tries to sweep some of the wave of mechanical monster mice in a massive mash of mayhem and metallic mushing of mused metal!

She, notably, does not curse, though she might have given a look at the brothers Green when they nearly do so.

Think and react. Process. Move. Destroy.

Casey Jones has posed:
The robots are swarming around them now, as they leap up and out, they are avoiding the turtles, the woman, and the dag-girl, as they are rushing by them over them, whatever way they can to vanish, the sirens stop. The sound of metal, leaving quickly as it arrived, but three of them are running into a wall, rolling around with its hind legs up, not able to flip itself over. Kicking little legs, much like a turtle when it's flipped over, when it's not ready for ninja time.

Heather Danielson has posed:
A new sound joins the others. Heather steps over towards a junked car sitting off to one side of the front door, "I'm with the Titans!" she calls out to April. Sure enough, her face is one of those public ID Titans. But her hands reach out to the car... and she grunts as she lifts it off the ground... turning to sweep it back and forth.
Her whole plan is to sweep the swarms away from the door. Thing is, it doesn't protect herself from them. However, it's a good thing that they are not trying to claw, bite, or whatever the people there. She is just doing a precautionary measure to try to keep them out of the garage.

Raphael has posed:
Raphael's sai slide into a striking position, both hands. While the ends are not blade-sharp, rather blunt, they will still do more than enough damage to the things that are in a hurry toward...no, /past/ them?

Prepared as he is to fight, there is no attack that comes as they either try to get around those on the ground completely, or bump into each other and some of them just to get...somewhere else.

"Something here ain't right," he determines, turning a full circle to get a better idea of exactly what's around them. "April! You all right?" he calls out, but when it comes to the one identifying herself as a Titan he moves toward some kind of cover just to be safe, like a vehicle parked nearby. They know a Titan or two, but that doesn't mean anything much just yet.

April O'Neil has posed:

April steps out of the garage just in time to see one of the mice struggling on its back. This, of course, makes the reporter frown... "You poor thing." She says as she lowers down with her phone to record it before she tentatively reaches out to pick it up.

With it in her hands, April stands up then and raises the 'mouse' up to look at it.

"Titans?" She says, looking now over to where she'd last seen Heather. "What are these things?" She assumes if Heather is with the Titans, then that's why these metal mice are here, it has to be connected, right?

Raph's sudden arrival makes April jump a bit when she hears her name called out. "Y-yeah, I'm fine. Look-et!" She holds up the metal mouse she'd picked up. "What the hell is goin' on?" She asks in complete confusion.

Casey Jones has posed:
The mouse in April's hands is trying to get free, kicking clawing, as it drops that bag down on the ground spilling dimaonds and rings, necklaces all over the place, as it tries it's damnest to get free.

Donatello has posed:
Standing tall, Donatello's bo is at the ready -- he holds it with confidence and strength, as if it might be an extension of his form. It's no mere stick! He stands in what would eventually turn out to be a sea of moving robot-mouses, each of them splitting away to avoid him! Curious and curiouser. "Well," he mutters, thinking about bringing one of them back to the Turtle Lair for inspection. "I suppose breaking one wouldn't be a bad thing..."

With that, Donatello delivers a precision jab at one of the scurrying robots, hoping to disable it enough to take it home!

Casey Jones has posed:
Stick plus robot is broken robot, make that into a Bo Staff, it is a very broken robot. With a solid crunch of the head, that little robot is down. It's bag spilling, out emerald rings, rolexs, all over the dirty pavement, it's parts crushed down. Motherboard, in the center of the head, and one beedy red eye is bluging out, till it cracks under the solid thawk.

Kainashi has posed:
Poor Kainashi watches as the robots zip past, her eyes narrowed a moment before she hops up on a trashcan.

"Hey! You! Humany lady types! Do you have smelly stuff on you?" she calls out, bringing her chain around and pointing to either April or Heather (she's already forgotten which was which, but she has an inkling April probably can't lift a car!

    "Gimmie!"

Heather Danielson has posed:
Five foot nine is tall for a girl. For a teenaged girl. But it's not that big for someone who hefts cars. Heather sets the junker back down after it's clear that nobody is in danger. But then she turns back and opens the door, "You alright?" she asks. But then she notices something... and jumps back to one side of the door, away from the Turtles.
(Holy shit. They're multiplying!) O O o o . . That is her thought. -Not- anything spoken. But she shakes her head like she was trying to clear cobwebs from it. "Um. Hi." she says as she lifts a hand. And then... Kainashi. She shrugs and gestures inside. "Odds are there's some pizza in there."

Casey Jones has posed:
The two on there back are swinging back and forth. One of them can grab on to a metal pipe, squeezing it till it shatters, but using it to flip over. As it rushes down an alley, the others are still struggling.

The one in April's hand is trying to get free; its body is rocking back and forth, as it tries to dig its little claw into her arm, but is only finding the sleeves of her jacket.

Raphael has posed:
Raphael's not afraid. Trust just doesn't come easy to him, so allowing himself to be seen so openly by someone he doesn't know, and someone who is strong enough to lift cars like that? It's something he's going to be careful about. It would have been a good night to have the coat and more to help disguise things.

As one of the metallic 'mice' scampers past, he hooks a bag out of its teeth and finds more of the same things the others are coming up with. He remains crouched slightly behind the car, a frown forming. "These things were stealing stuff!" he calls out. "April, you got a band for a police scanner?"

It's completely normal to shout things back and forth from cover. Too bad those pizzas that were delivered are probably trampled by now. It's what he'd expect.

April O'Neil has posed:
April is unable to really focus on much else, considering the bag that just fell from the mouse's little paws lands there on the ground and spills rare jewels and jewely all over the pavement in front of her. "Oh... my... god..." Aprily says then before looking back to the mouse in her hand.

"Bad robot mouse, bad!" She scolds the mouse before the shouts from Kai draw her attention. "Do I wha-?" she asks, then stops and narrows her eyes. "Wait, you're Donnie's friend! Oh, hi!" April raises the mouse-holding-hand and uses it to wave to Kai. "All I have on me is chapstick and chewing gum!" She adds with a small frown.

"These things are stealing jewelry, we gotta stop them somehow!" She knees down to sweep some of the jewels on the ground up in to a pile.

At Raph's question, she stops and looks up at him. "Yeah, on my phone." She raises it up and thumbs over to the scanner to bring it up and on so it plays over the speaker, the little mouse in her hand still struggling to try to get away from her.

Casey Jones has posed:
Dispatch: It seems we are up to 6 jewelry stories, 5 pawn shops. All over the Bronx, tunnels ripped open, and the safe riped open. Sending over locations of the three newest ones. No suspects sighted, no broken doors, just damage to the walls and the bathrooms.

Grumpy cop noises, as they are forced to head out to check on the scenes of the crimes.

Donatello has posed:
The robot mouse comes apart against the strike of Donatello's weapon! He secures his bo back onto his shell and bends down. The turtle's face sours as he reaches to take the robot's remains. Not his most precise strike by any means, but there should be enough to work with. With a singular focus on the technology enclosed in these little guys, Donnie leaves the emeralds and watches on the pavement. He has no need for them. He does, however, take the robot's bag and empties out any remaining valuables so he can stuff the robot's remains inside.

With the wave of robot mice gone, Donatello slowly walks towards the door to Casey's Garage, carefully carrying the bagged robot as he moves. Of the two brothers, Donnie is certainly the more trusting turtle. With a brief encounter with the Titan under his belt, the unfamiliarity may be there, but it's not enough to keep him away from walking up to the garage's doorway.

"So, that was really weird," he comments, announcing the obvious to everyone present. He holds up the bag containing the robot he annihilated. "I managed to save one -- I tried to keep it intact, but, hopefully it'll be good enough to analyze." Spotting April's captive robot, Donatello's eye ridge rises and he walks right in!

"April!" he muses. "You've got one that's almost in perfect condition!" The turtle turns his head to his bag of mangled robot parts and then slowly turns back to the one in April's hand: nearly functional, clearly a better choice for study. He manages a slow smile, looking at the human, expectedly.

Kainashi has posed:
"Oooh piz--" the smallest among the figures squeaks, and then answers with "--no, /no/, not good enough! Too much Pizza in New York to track it--" the canine replies, and she gives a soft huff as she reaches down to grab one of the remaining mice by its legs as it struggles to flip over. "Their bags are almost full -- something really smelly I coulda followed 'em. Maybe. Unless they go swimming. Mostly." she frowns, and does go to follow along with the mechanical mice, almost distracted -- and then she realizes she was greeted.

"Hello!" she smiles, all of the teeth showing in her muzzle, though most of her face is still hidden by her hood.

Heather Danielson has posed:
Turning to regard Donnatello as he heads inside. "Oh!" says Heather with a smile. "Will this help?" she asks as she reaches into a pocket and pulls out a tiny spray thingee of mild perfume. "I keep forgetting I have this stuff." she adds as she holds it out towards Kainashi.
But she then looks back to Donnatello as he walks past. "One of these days, I need to get your name. I'm Heather." She says.

Raphael has posed:
As the resident suspicious one, Raphael mutters a silent curse at Donatello and Kainashi just being so open about approaching, even if the canine is wearing a hooded piece of clothing to help a little bit. There's only so much it can actually hide, given muzzle, tail, and so on. But, the turtles had a talk about this kind of stuff. They knew things would lead to needing to be seen by more, sooner or later.

Finally after hearing the buzz over the police band, he rises from the other side of the car and practically passes through what shadows he can, looking around warily once he's at the garage. "Okay, so this is how it is. You're only seeing me because I'm letting you, but you keep quiet about it. Got it? Whatever these things are, sounds like someone's got them breaking into banks and stuff. Donnie, you grab one and, I dunno, do whatever you do and maybe we can figure out where they're coming from."

Going off to try stopping them does not sound like it's on Raphael's list. He's tucked the sai away in his belt, since nobody is being attacked, but he does not look pleased to be there.

Heather Danielson has posed:
Smirking, Heather shrugs, "Look. This is the second time I've seen one... or more of you. And I haven't told a soul. It seems like the sort of thing that is -entirely- your business whether you want to reveal yourselves or not. You're helping people, so why would I do -anything- to hinder you guys?"

April O'Neil has posed:
April is listening to the Police band radio on her phone when she sees Donatello's face and his eyes trained right on her mouse. She laughs quickly and offers it over to him. "Relax, would ya?" She says to him. "Of course I'm giving you this. I'm not introducing a suspicious metal mouse into my apartment that I've already got a Harley Quinn living inside of, and sometimes her friend POISON IVY." She motions to the ground then where the jewels all are. "I should definitely stick around until the Cops come to get this stuff though, right? I mean... it's so shiny though."

It's like when the One Ring calls out to someone in Lord of the Rings... all that sparkling beautiful rich stuff on the ground... April zones in to it...

Kainashi has posed:
Kainashi shifts her weight uncomfortably, keeping her hood pulled down, as if humans made her nervous. She turns to Donatello, who's closest to April, and then turns to Raph and she states "I... I should get to Alopex. This is too close." she mutters quietly, and she turns and dashes down the alley, hopping a divider nimbly, and escapes into the night.

Raphael has posed:
"Because most people up here can't be trusted and would think we're a bunch of freaks," Raphael answers pointedly, his grumpy side on full display. "But April's a friend of ours, and this is important," he finishes, gesturing toward all the 'mice' that have been making their escape.

April just gets a defeated look from him at the mention of both Harley Quinn /and/ Poison Ivy. "Yeah, probably better you be the one to turn this stuff in, not one of us. There's more on the other side of the car over there," he says, gesturing toward the one he'd been hiding behind.

He nods once to Kainashi, then steps back into the shadows to wait for Donatello. The pizzas that had been left outside? He'll scavenge whatever's edible of them.

Casey Jones has posed:
The pizzas are fine, safe up on a fire escape.

Donatello has posed:
Raphael earns a *look* from Donatello. "Yeah, okay, Raph. I'll do it, but just because you said to!" he calls over, dangling the bag of robot guts in the air for a moment. As if Donnie would be able to resist taking one of these things home! The turtle rolls his eyes, firing off that shade at his brother, before turning to look at April again. Smiling, he reaches out to take the offered robot. "Thanks, April!" he adds before stuffing it into the bag with its dead cousin.

"Oh, well, Heather," Donatello greets. "Tonight's the night, then. It's Donatello. Donnie. And that that glass of sun tea is my brother." He doesn't offer a name -- Raphael can do it if he wants to. "Thanks for helping out, back there!" he adds with the weirdest thumbs-up you've ever seen.

As Kainashi and April introduce themselves to one another, the turtle's smile continues -- a great outcome to an otherwise weird situation. At her mention of wanting to get out of there, that the humans are too close, Donnie nods with a smile. He raises his empty hand in a vague wavey gesture before she scampers off.

"Relax, Raph," he drones. "She's already seen one of us thanks to the proprietor." Speaking of, Donatello glances down at April and her sudden fascination with the valuables strewn out on the ground. "Speaking of the proprietor, I think it's a good idea if you get this stuff out of here. I don't want to see all the dumb real-money cosmetic nonsense he'd buy for his fresh character if he was able to pawn all this stuff."
