Cast of Characters: Oswald Cobblepot, Slips, Jackson Mathias, Stephanie Brown, Cassandra Cain, Miles Morales

Oswald Cobblepot has posed:
Night time in Gotham. security guards patrol Gotham Museum. Along the main coridor beneath an immense glass dome showing the night sky is an exhibit. Gems, jewels, furs, and even a faberge egg all on careful display. The guards come by in random intervals, their flashlights gazing on each thing, though the main item is behind a velvet rope in the middle of the room, rotating in the display case is a truly massive blue diamond. Flawless, almost blinding with its perfectly placed facets even in the dark.

One by one, though, the sounds of grunts and collapsing bodies can be heard. Groups of men in black sweaters, slacks, and bowler hats - all wielding umbrellas, and all with "G.O.O.N." written on the front. Tough men dragging the unconscious forms of the security guards to an area to tie up.

Blossoming from the middle of them is non other than the beaked baddie himself - The Penguin! Top hat, monacle, and his own umbrella, he walks up to the case. "Boys, this might be too easy," he chuckles as the tip of his umbrella billows smoke, revealing the lazer security system bouncing about the exterior of the glass.

Slips has posed:
Cobblepot isn't the only one who has had their eye on the Zima Diamond.  Why Slips has been actually serving the double-shift of the guard she's been shifted into for the last however many hours is beyond...well, only she knows about it.  Awhile go, Joe Parker, a big ginger fellow, left his post to go get a donut from the break room.  When Cobblepot's goons sweep by, she shifts into one of the goons she spots in passing and gets with the program, blending in with the others for now.  The thief didn't come prepared for the lasers, but The Penguin did.

Jackson Mathias has posed:
Black as sin, that little rabbit foot at the side of Jackson, he has not noticed it yet as he walks into the museum, with a jaunty step. He had a great night, saw his girl, now to look at art.

Stopping dead in his tracks, what the hell is this, his eyes moving along it all, taking in the sharp-dressed short man, the goons all of it with a little sigh, as he leaps behind a display case, hiding watching, for now, his hand is going to bring out his deck of cards, flicking it open as he waits now, hopefully, he is not doing it alone, as he looks down at the rabbit foot, with a shake of his head."I bet I will be." As he brings the first card up, that thick Cajun accent, waiting now changing the luck attached to nice deep dark and bad.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Spoiler is feeling better. While the danger of the Court of Owls still looms in Gotham, the escape of Tim Drake and Jason Todd from their clutches and subsequent safe return to the Batcave last night was a welcome respite from a frantic week of trying to find them.

Though Gotham doesn't stop being Gotham just because a supernatural cult of assassins is plaguing the city. The alert that Penguin was recruiting had come in, likely picked up by Oracle. Though not knowing exactly where, Stephanie and Cassandra at least had an idea.

Spoiler had pulled up a photo of Oswald Cobblepot before they'd left the Batcave, giving her less vocal friend a good heads up on what tonight was about. At the moment Spoiler is patrolling the area on the purple motorcycle that was a graduation present from Barbara Gordon. Coasting around the area, trying to be low key as she keeps an eye out for any signs of disturbance.

<< Spoiler here. Patrolling in the 500 block of Crestmore on Founder's Island >> she says over the comms used by Batman's crew. Up ahead, the familiar structure of the Gotham Museum draws near as Spoiler putters along keeping an eye out.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
The still form of Orphan (Known to some as Cassandra) on the other motorcycle is noncommittal, unless you know how to read her. Her bike is, as per her usual, borrowed. Black, of medium quality, and Bruce won't let her have a better one since she trashed twelve in less than a month. So she's got a disposable one and is content.

Or so it seems. As the two pull past some hardworking ladies on the street, Orphan's body tenses. She could be seen by Stephanie; the lady is very observant, and the two know each other well. But she motions to one side, then pulls there herself. From her body language she can tell, something is up.

One of those times when knowing more than 'water' 'yes' and 'no' would be useful though. But she inclines her head upwards, suggesting a route of entry. She's seen something, though what is still up in the air.

Miles Morales has posed:
Miles isn't in the museum at all. He's outside it, annoyedly discussing the price of a hot dog with a vendor. "What do you mean -eight- dollars for a hot dog? Do you know how expensive that is? The museum isn't even -open- man." Miles isn't angry, he's exasperated, gesticulating a little bit wildly as he tries to haggle a bored and unimpressed hotdog vendor.
Dressed in a hoodie with bright red and blue sleeves he's easy to spot, though his five foot eight figure isn't all that impressive, and the way he's worried about eight dollars helps diminish his potential level of importance in an observer's eyes. A tiny bit exasperatedly, he pays for his hot dog and turns to make his way over toward the museum steps, sinking down to take a seat on them.
He holds the hot dog in one hand and pulls out his phone in the other, poking at it with his thumb to send a text to his mom - 'Yeah, had a good day. Next train leaves in an hour, I'll be home soon. Love you.'

Oswald Cobblepot has posed:
A wicked grin on the Penguin's face grows. The sharp edge of the tube at the end of the umbrela cuts the glass, deftly avoiding the alarm before that fancy gloved hand reaches in and pauses. "Ohoho! What's this? A pressure sensor?" he muses loudly. From his pocket, a small metalick rubber duck is pulled out. "This is just too easy!" he calls out, OBVIOUSLY victorious. After all, what could go wrong?

Deftly, he pops the diamond off and quickly places the metal rubber duckie - a calling card, to be sure - and lifts it above his head to view it in the moonlight. "Boys, we've done it! Now gag those guards and we can get out before the cops show up to find their precious prize purloined by the pernicious and perverse Penguin! Wah wah wah!"

The G.O.O.N.s laugh and get to work while the Penguin gloats.

Jackson Mathias has posed:
"Damn.....isn't that dude that calls himself a bird." Jackson peers out from around the corner, as he launches that card towards the criminal mastermind, as it lands at his feet. As he watches now waiting, the Ace of Diamonds, ducking behind the counter again.

Jackson, knows the next bit will be a great amusement for him and the others if anyone shows up. As he crawls along the bottom of the case, as he rolls behind the next one, getting the next card ready as his rabbits foot is now a little more white, as he peeks out around the next corner.

Slips has posed:
"Sure thing boss!" Slips keeps an eye on the diamond as one of the burly G.O.O.N.s, but for now, sticks to the Penguin's plan. No one says you can't whistle while ya work right? That's exactly what one of the newly hired goons does...loudly. The guard Slips was pulling a shift with blinks, recognizing the familiar face right before Slips stuffs his mouth and knocks his lights out. "Night night buddy. You'll get home to Brenda and the kids in no time."

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Spoiler knows that for anything that Cassandra lost in not being taught language, she gains in so many other ways of reading body language and... well Stephanie doesn't even know how she does it sometimes. It's kind of spooky. Not like tarantula spooky but more like really huge daddy longlegs spooky in that moment before you realize, oh thank god, it's just a big daddy longlegs!

Which is to say, Spoiler takes Orphan's lead, parking the motorcycle behind some bushes. A little bat-shaped grapple flies up to wrap around a statue on the roof, and soon Spoiler is whisking up through the air, reeled in by the grapple gun's winch.

Up top, the roof access is obvious enough. "Oracle will love that I recognize the alarm system," she says, working quickly to bypass it. The door soon gives way so the pair of caped crusaders can sneak down into the museum. Spoiler ends up in the rafters above Penguin. She looks down at him and then over to Orphan. Making a gesture that is easy enough to read. Orphan can go first and Spoiler will follow her lead.

Miles Morales has posed:
Miles finishes off his hot dog and has made his way back up to the vendor, "Alright man, I'mma be honest with you. That hot dog was definitely worth eight dollars, I'm sorry I doubted you. Is that an all beef dog, or like what's your secret?" He's leaned up against the cart with one elbow, making conversation with the.. still incredibly bored and over it hot dog vendor.
Eventually, Miles straightens up from his conversation, a second hot dog in his hand (still $8, even with the flattery) and he starts to wander back over toward the stairs, pulling headphones from his pocket and popping them into his ears as he scarfs it down. He hops up onto the steps, one arm out to the side to help with his balance as he heel-toe walks up along the raised planter at the bottom of the steps.
And he'd have likely gotten bored and wandered off if he hadn't noticed two figures atop the museum's roof. He straightens, grabs his phone and changes the song, then heads off for the side of the museum at a quick pace. There's trouble afoot.

It's really too bad he's probably going after Spoiler and Cassandra.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Tapping her earbud in a pattern that should signal to Babs that something is up, Orphan barely slows down. She ditched her bike on its side (really, she needs lessons in taking care of those things) and was halfway up the wall before it stopped sliding. It's a testament to the gear that Spoiler still got up to the roof before her, but to be fair she's not competing. Yet.

A glance at the alarm system, and Orphan mimes punching it gently, an action which would obviously set the alarm off. Not necessarily a bad plan, but definitely loud. The fact that she can discuss tactics without opening her mouth is kind of neat.

However, the smile she gives Steph in encouragement is warm. It also fades quickly, combat mode taking over and she gets this ....stare. As she looks down on the ongoing motions below.

Body language. It means that disguises are moot. Language is nonexistent. People trading the diamond back and forth are obvious, and she pauses a moment. Something is going on, something more than just the robbery.

Then she grins a tiny bit, shrugs, and drops.

Right onto the glass display, shattering it with the sound of a thousand suns. Well, that'll draw attention.

Oswald Cobblepot has posed:
"Just think, Sparrow! You will finally get that... What's this?" He kneels down to look at the playing card, picking it up and raising an eyebrow. What the South Pole is a playing card doing in the-

AAANH! AAAANH! AAANH! Red lights blare and The Penguin jolts, dropping the gigantic gem on the ground. Lifting his umbrella, he aims it at the crash sight and pulls the trigger - the smoke planning to shoot directly all over the-

BAMF!

Actually, no, it backfires! "What in the blazes! Boys! Get her!" He reaches for the diamond but with the huge billow of smoke floowing the room, he's having trouble finding it among the chaos.

The goons come pouring in, ready to beat bat butt! Uh, oh. It's seven against one. That surely isn't fair!

Jackson Mathias has posed:
Jackson watches now moving quickly through the smoke trying to find one of the goons, as he launches another card towards him, leaping up, climbing quickly, trying to get out of the smoke. His eyes burning, as he is up there now resting on a light, his rabbits foot is pure white, his eyes scanning trying to find something to do, as he rubs his eyes slowly with the back of his right hand.

Slips has posed:
Wearing these big bodies for so long is such a pain in the ass, well the back to be precise.  Oh!  GEM!  The burly SlipsGoon doesn't seem to give a damn about the incoming and shuffles to try and scoop up the prize, only ending up kicking it over to some dim corner where it catches the light just so.  DING!

The goon disappears into the shadows.

"I'VE CALLED THE COPS!"  a woman shouts and coughs, sounding defiant and a little too big for her britches.  Some might recognize the woman who has so tirelessly worked to arrange the jewel's arrival in the first place.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
As soon as Orphan is dropping into the museum, Spoiler follows, dropping in to land on the floor, knees bending quickly to absorb the shock. Her metallic bo staff opens up in one hand, while the other pulls a blunted batarang from her utility belt and whips it towards a distant goon's head!

She dives into action then, literally. Diving forward and rolling back to her feet, the bo staff swinging in an arc at ankle level to sweep out the legs from one of Penguin's men. "I'm afraid this wing is closed for renovations, Penguin. Please put the nice diamond back and see the ushers for an escort right to Blackgate Pennitentiary!"

Spoiler whirls as two goons rush to help the one that she's knocked off his feet. She uses her staff to block a kick, but then the other one takes advantage of her being occupied, landing a punch to the side of her head. Spoiler rolls with it, tumbling down and then back up to her feet. "Really? Hitting a girl in the face? What would your mother say about now?" she asks. The bo staff darts end-first into the man's stomach.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Orphan doesn't move. Not until the smoke rises, and the last thing that the goons see is her eyes. A cheshire cat moment; she's hidden from view and disappears as they close in, the goons' hands closing on air. She didn't make a sound or barely even swirl the mist, yet she vanished.

And Stephanie dives in, a dervish of skill and wonderment. Aaand gets punched in the face. Which is totally going to ingratiate the guard with the ninja in the shadows.

As he's bent over by Stephanie's bo staff, a foot from the smoke smacks into the side of the GOON's head who punched her friend. Then a smol form rolls over the guy's back, landing on the other side of both him and Spoiler, and the second player enters the game! Low to the ground, face completely without emotion, the asian lady with no mask moves forward like lightning.

The leap upward lets her slam her knee into a face, carefully missing the nose to not scar the man, and she lands spinning out her legs. Two men are swept, landing on the ground heavily.

And that's just one move.

Miles Morales has posed:
Hup, hup, hup! Miles has thrown his mask almost all the way on and flipped his hoodie inside out, revealing his Spider-man symbol as he climbs up the museum's wall one handed. He's cramming the last of the hot dog into his mouth as he reaches the top, tugging his mask down fully. He hears the glass breaking as he crests the roof, causing him to pick up his pace, racing across the roof with a quick shrug-flip to toss his backpack aside - a splatter of webbing following immediately after to pin it to the wall and free him from having to carry it.
And then he leaps up, twisting in the air to shoot feet-first through the narrow entrance. It's smooth and graceful - he even tosses his hand out to web the entrance, "Hold on just a--" and he cuts off as his eyes adjust to the chaos happening on the ground floor beneath him. The wide white eyes of his mask squidge slightly with his blinks as he puts it all together. "Oh my god, is that the Penguin!?" he calls out as he spots Cobblepot. "Is Batman gonna be here?" the question asked as he releases his hold on the webbing and drops to the ground, landing in a crouch near Orphan and Spoiler, eyes moving to the goons.
And then Cassandra leaps into action and the white-diamond eyes on Miles' mask widen even further. "Oh man." His hand coming up to spray webbing at the two men, sticking them to the ground where they were sprawled to ensure that they're out of the fight. "That was so cool!" he calls out as he ducks out of the way of another goon's fist, dodging and moving around like he's still focused on seeing if Batman is here yet.

Oswald Cobblepot has posed:
Grapping one of the other umbrellas, The Penguin snarls at Spoiler. "The only wings I'm interested in are yours, bats, and they're about to get clipped!" Oswald aims his umbrella at the caped crusader and launches a net to ensnare Spoiler! Wrapping her in the netting and the bolas pinning it around her.

There's a pause as he hears his name called and glares up, unamused. "Bats and bugs? The hero world needs a fumigator!" he calls out, hobbling quickly to the general direction of the diamond to look for it.

The smoke is still low and heavy, but not choking, making the bedlam all the tougher to make out. He's got to nab the diamond and get out - but how?

Grabbing a walkie-talkie from his oh-so-fancy petticoat, he calls in. "Get in, boys! We've got company!"

From around the corner, a van swerves up, and more G.O.O.N.s come flooding in. Seven more guys, along with a heavy hitter, and one with a good old fashioned tommy gun - wait they still make those things?!

The G.O.O.N.s go in trying to pin down Orphan. One swing. Then another! Swainging at her with umbrellas, they're trying to make short work of her, but holy COW is she hard to hit! One of the G.O.O.N.s accidently swats one of his friends down trying to hit the woman as she rolls off one of their backs - a comedy of errors, perhaps, but they don't seem to be laughing.

Slips has posed:
Slips is invisible!  Effectively!  YESSSSSS!  Chaos /is/ fantastic cover.  "Shit shit shit shit!  I do not get paid enough..."  Why in hell did she decide this woman wears a pencil skirt...Oh yeah, the photo op.  Slips is anything but invisible.  She's blonde white woman in her forties screaming as she tries to huddle through what she thinks is a war zone....or what the blonde white woman thinks is a war zone.  It's hard to tell who is who.  Would so kill for some rhubarb pie right now.

BLING!  For a moment, the large gem catches the light!  This lady has the gem!!!

Jackson Mathias has posed:
"Son of a......"Jackson watches it all as he leaps, downwards swinging forward as he grabs that lamp, bending it as he is swinging quickly, his hand is bringing it down on four of the newly arrived G.O.O.N squad, as he rolls now quickly, leaping to his feet as he runs towards that bat girl, as he reaches down trying to untie that damn net, as his hand is looking for a knife. Behind him a very large goon, is coming up ready to bash his head in, as Jackson has no idea it is going down.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Spoiler whirls as she hears Miles behind them, but quickly decides from what he's saying that he's not with Penguin. "He's sort of an identity more than a person. So it's like he's already here. It's like, we're all Batman deep inside."

She turns back around, already saying towards Orphan, "So not quoting that in the after action rep- ACK!" The net comes flying in from Penguin, the weighted ends wrapping about her.

Spoiler's arms are caught one at her side, the other bent at the elbow with the hand up towards her body. She loses her balance and topples over, caught up in the heavy netting!

"Seriously, a net? What happened to dinner and some flowers?" she says, trying to keep attention on her face while her hand struggles to reach her utility belt and a cutting implement within. She manages to slip it out and passes it to Jackson. Then another device, this one to burn through the ropes as she begins breaking through the strands to try to get an arm free. "Thanks for the help sir."

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Cassandra? I mean, Orphan? She's a blur.

The Penguin specifically targeted her, sending a wave of enemies, and it is gorgeous. She leans back underneath an umbrella, watching it go past, and rolls to one side the instant it has. A stomp lands where she was, and she ducks UPWARD to avoid another two who were coming in on her fast. She urges them on a bit with a push, letting the two become one, and then she sidesteps a move that hasn't even started to come yet.

She's intimate chaos; she takes a moment to kick out and block an incoming strike as the man is starting it, then lets him go just in time to strike his own comrade, coming up behind her. A push on her back sends her forward in a roll, and she hooks someone's arm with her leg, throwing him to the ground..and it all looks staged, choreographed. Impossible.

She's not hurting them. She's being...gentle. With that stare that suggests boredom, as if she's not got much going on.

Then she sees Stephanie get caught, and punches a goon with her left hand. He topples, and she starts to frown.

Frowning is bad.

Miles Morales has posed:
"Whoa. So like, we're all Batman?" Miles asks as he finally throws a hand out to punch a goon in the stomach, then splatters him to the wall with a web. "I'm Batman." Miles barks out in an overdone gruff 'Batman' voice as he webs the goon to the wall. He even hunches a little bit, like he's trying to stalk. He takes a hit from behind due to his messing around, knocked back - too distracted to notice his Spidey Sense going off.
He hops forward then turns around, spinning with a strange mix of clumsy athleticism as he punches a second goon over to the side. Then his webs shoot up to the ceiling and he pulls himself up over the fight, coming down to land near Steph, Cassandra, and Jackson. "So what's the plan?" he asks, as if they aren't literally in the middle of a brawl, dodging and ducking, striking and shifting with the flow of the fight.

Oswald Cobblepot has posed:
"You, there! Give me that diamond or it'll be the last bit of ice you get your grubby hands on." Penguin says, slowly walking up to Slips, his sharp teeth curled into a malicious grin as his umbrella rests against his shoulder. "You wouldn't want to scar that pretty face, would you?"

The G.O.O.N.s are having a rough time of this. Poor Miles, though will soon find he and his crassly captured crime-fighting cohort in the line of fire as one of them unleashes with the machine gun. Surely he'll shoot the guy! The poor dumb kid can't even see it!

Jackson Mathias has posed:
Jackson Mathias watches it all cutting into the rope, as he swings his right foot back tripping the goon behind him with the power of good luck, as he slides the rope oof Steaphanie."There ya go, your welcome, I can't fight this is too heavy for me." With that he dives behind cover, trying to hide.

Slips has posed:
"What?  This?"  Anyone who looks back at the Penguin and has the right angle will see the 'woman' pivot and snarl...only it isn't a woman.  The head is Penguin's too still on the woman's body. "This FACE?!"  She snarls and snaps before tearing away from him, murmuring, "'ll do more with it than you anyway.  Stupid bird."  Yes.  She just turned her back on The Penguin.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
With the help of Jackson, Spoiler is finally able to cut free of the net. "Thank you-" is all she gets out as a goon makes a rush at her, lining up his foot towards her head like he was the Gotham Knights kicker with 2 seconds left and down by two.

As he kicks at the costumed hero's face, she rolls with it, hands reaching up to grab his foot and pull it forward. He ends up doing a forced set of splits that he really didn't stretch for. Spoiler does a spin move on her back, her foot connecting with /his/ head now and leaving him down for the count.

She does a jump flip back to standing, and snags a foot under her bo staff to kick it up to her. She points the bo staff at both Penguin and Slips. "Both of you, drop that ice!" she says. She pulls out an electric batarang and whips it towards them. If it hits one, the outcome could be, shocking!

Cassandra Cain has posed:
For all the skill that Orphan is showing, she is badly outnumbered. Showing off has its down sides, and as is shown in many movies, you can actually win by sheer numbers. The enemies literally trying to take her down is slowing her, and she slips on something unseen. She's not perfect.

When she hits the floor one guy falls on her, sheerly by accident, and while he regrets it later he's also the first straw. Two more upon her a second later, and suddenly she's not visible beneath the pile. People are punching downward, and a lot of the noises sound as if they're hitting flesh.

Um. Orphan might have taken on more than she can chew after all?

She doesn't get to see Steph's awesome move with the leg, but she'd have loved it.

Miles Morales has posed:
You can practically see the '!' appear over Miles' head as the tommy gun lifts in his direction. His back straightens and his head lifts, those white-diamond eyes spreading wide - and then he leaps, twisting in the air with a sudden burst of Metahuman level agility. And for a single shining moment, the kid /looks/ like a Superhero with bullets whizzing around him in a flurry of lead, striking the wall behind him and pelting the various Bat (and Spider) people with chips.
His hand comes up with that same level of hyperfocus, a web shooting out and striking the tommy gun. And, with a flick of his wrist, the gun is popped up into the air and stuck to the ceiling. And he lands, focused now that he's been shot at and steps forward, hands shooting out to web guys off of Cassandra, pulling them up one by one and tossing them off into the smoke - some G.O.O.N.S. might make their way back to the fight, but at the very least he's hopefully taking some pressure off Orphan.

Oswald Cobblepot has posed:
Thwip-twaaaaaang!

Into the wall, the batarang flits into the wall. The Penguin lunges, snatching the diamond, and tumbling with... Okay, it's not 'acrobatic grace' but it's certainly more than would be expected from a waddling beaked goofball."Later, kids! This glacier's gonna grow on Gotham! Wah wah wah wah!"

He grabs another umbrella, running to the exit and flooding the area near him with smoke. Is he going to make his escape with the Zima diamond?!

Jackson Mathias has posed:
Jackson Mathias watches it from his hidey hole, as he runs forward now running towards Oswald, as he throws one last card now, at the man bad luck wishing it down on him like a rain. The King of hearts, landing in the back pocket of Oswlad, as he sighs softly."Dammit he got away."

Slips has posed:
Grace of any kind, Slips' ass.  "He's trying to steal the diaaamond!" she wails slightly as the Penguin sends them both into an outright fumble which ends with the woman's head bonking into a wall.  She's out cold.  This was not how she envisioned this evening going.

Miles Morales has posed:
And then all the goons Miles threw off Orphan come back to haunt him. He's slammed into by an absolute pile of huge, bulky men. His Spider sense isn't quite up to the task of alerting him in time, and he's buried. As the penguin makes his escape, Miles is left at the bottom of the heap.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Spoiler moves to help her friend and teammate, that bo staff of hers swinging left and right, thumping people on one side of the pile while Miles is pulling people off with webs on the other. "You're pretty handy to have a fight there, Spider... Guy?" she says, apparently not sure if this is that Spider-Man, or another Spider-Man. Is there more than one?

The sound of the smoke and Penguin's cackling draw Spoiler's attention back over towards him. He's already disappearing into that smoke screen as the bat-tracker is pulled out of Stephanie's utility garter she wears on her leg. She knows it's a hundred to one shot of hitting him in the smoke, but she throws it into the cloud.

Maybe Jackson's ill luck sent Penguin's way wasn't so wasted. The blind toss hits home as the tracker flies true and sticks to the back of Penguin's collar.

Cassandra Cain has posed:
Underneath a pile of people, Miles and Stephanie and whomever will find Orphan. She's been hit in the face enough times to knock her out. She isn't moving. She needs to be taken care of.

And, for all her talent, she still doesn't wear a mask. A few more scars for her, and for once, the Penguin has taken a win. And not just the diamond.

He got himself a bat.

Oswald Cobblepot has posed:
As the smoke settles, the driving fading into the distance, there's no sign of the garter. It caught, it seems! Also, on the floor, a business card to Haverford's Chilled Storage is located. No one's dumb enough to literally carry something like that with them... right?

The G.O.O.N.s are pretty much all but unconscious, now, throughly smacked about by their clearly astounding opposition! The poor guys never had a chance. Maybe Mom was right. Going to Mugging community college wasn't the best career decision...

Miles Morales has posed:
Miles Morales will finally break free from the goons, with Steph's help. And he'll give Steph a nod, "Not too bad yourself!" he says, straightening up and looking around at all the unconscious G.O.O.N.S. "First time in Gotham, and I get to see the -Penguin-, man. Can you eve--" and he slows, the white-diamond eyes on his masks slitting suspiciously as he peers around the room. "Aww /man/ did he get away?" He lifts his arms up and lets them fall in frustration, "My first time in Gotham and I let the Penguin get away!" And he starts piling beat-up goons around a convenient pillar, webbing them up and stopping to web a denser section in the shape of the Bat-symbol across the front.

Jackson Mathias has posed:
Jackson Mathias leaps up behind stuff looking around, as he walks over to the others waving as he is making for the door, he is off like a flash of light.

Stephanie Brown has posed:
Spoiler's focus is on her downed teammate, checking Orphan's condition and making sure she's not in more critical condition than just unconscious. "Breathing, think she'll be ok but I need to get her back." She continues talking though it's meant for her comms, Miles will be able to hear it easily enough. << Need a vehicle to the Gotham Museum. Orphan's unconscious and I just have a bike. >>

She rises then, pulling some zip ties from her utility belt. Or, about to but she glances at Miles instead. "Want to web up any who aren't?" she asks. She then proceeds to check on civilians. Slips is going into ambulance. Her role in it wasn't caught in the fight, at least not by Spoiler.
