Location: April's Apartment
Synopsis: Ivy and Harley have a rare peaceful moment together to reflect on their friendship and challenges
Cast of Characters: Pamela Isley, Harley Quinn

Pamela Isley has posed:
Ivy doesn't often linger about April's apartment, even though she uses it as her closest thing to a home. Frank may not appreciate it, but she's been keeping more in touch with nature recently, going on and off on her own escapades, which the media hadn't quite heard about. Right now she returns from such an outing, walking in through the window, with the help of friendly vines giving her a lift. "Harley...? Are you home?" She asks cautiously, immediately putting her finger to her lips before Frank can quip anything at her. She's not in the mood for that.

Harley Quinn has posed:
It had been one damn hard night after the crazy trip she had with one of her new friends Spiral. Not hard because of the trip but that she had decided to drink some wine .., and that had turned into a couple of bottles and ..., she got a bit wasted. So when the vines creep up alongside April's apartment and over a window there isn't an immediate response to Ivy's call...

A few moments later.. "Oh God ..., it's already mornin' ain't it?" Harley's head peeks from the other side of the sofa, eyes squinted, looking distant ... Ufff. Her expression shifts almost immediately when she notes who it is. "Pam!" she springs up to her feet like lightning, looking absolutely delighted..

.. And then falls back on the sofa. "Ugh, got up too fast. Let me try this again.." and again she tries it, getting up a lot sloooower. "Wheah ya been?! Barely a woahd too." she makes her way over to greet her friend, opening her arms for a hug.

Pamela Isley has posed:
"Yes, so it is," Ivy notes, before looking at Harley suspiciously, "you didn't go on a wild night on the town with April, did you?" April certainly didn't seem like the kind of girl who could keep up with Harley, not by a longshot. Ivy does offer a faint smile to Harley, "I see you're doing remarkably well," she murmurs, "can't even stay on your feet to give your friend a hug."

Tsking, Ivy moves to sit on Harley's bed, reaching to caress the blonde's hair. "You need to slow down, Harley, take better care of yourself...I mean, why would you drink yourself to a stupor? What's wrong? Is it 'Mistah J' again...?" The look she gives Harley is rather critical.

Harley Quinn has posed:
"Not last night." Harley informs Ivy. "That one was last week, we went ovah ta the pizza parlah nearby. It was fun. But full a' kids." she rolls her eyes hard. "And let me tell ya, it's hard tryin' ta play arcades and not lettin' out a good cussin' when I lose a quahtah." another dramatic sigh. Truly, Harley has such a hard life sometimes.. But indeed she is having a bit of a hard time reaching Ivy to give that hug, moving a bit sluggisly. But then she moves to sit on her bed. Much better! So she is able to reach over to give Ivy that hug. "Slowin' down?" it makes her wrinkle her eyebrows. "You know I can't do that ..." the problem of having such a past. Means she needs to try to keep one step ahead of it and not .., remember it too much.

"But I know what'ya mean.." She leans her head to rest against Ivy's. "But not Mistah J this time..." even if she hadn't heard of him in a while... And that was problematic enough. "Did ya know Terry is missin'? He went out on some Titans mission and ..." she makes a small sleight of hand gesture with her hands. "Gone.."

Pamela Isley has posed:
"And you didn't think maybe hanging out around kids was wrong...?" Ivy asks with a preplexed arching of a brow, looking a bit dumbfounded at Harley, even though she knows better than to expect common sense from Harley. "Yes, yes, arcades are just horrible."

Ivy looks like she couldn't care less as she asks with mild interest, "remind me who is Terry again? I don't care much for the Titans, they're no different then any other stupid group of heroes who don't give a damn about the environment..."

Harley Quinn has posed:
"Yoh awhe right! Next time I will make suwah ta evacuate the pizza parlah with some threat o' fiwah o' somethin' befoouh I go in theah." Is she being serious right now? There is a wide grin on her expression when she says that. But then Harley winks at Ivy. And she will know her enough to know she is just joking. Maybe! Most likely!

"And Terry is Vorps. Or Vorpal. He is a cat. Well, not always a cat. But lotsa times he is. April's cousin too, and a cool guy. He even left me a video in case he disappeared and ...." she lets out a sigh, getting a touch downhearted about remembering it. "Terry cared about me though.. That should count foh somethin' right?"

"So I went theah to the towah, and spoke with Shorty." She probably means Damian. "I tell ya, that kid continues the same brat we knew from Gotham but anywayyyy. He sorta accepted me theah, so I sometimes go hang out with them. Apparently a whole bunch o' 'em disappeared. Been hard foh 'em."

"But what about you, wheah ya been hidin' out in?" She asks. "Been missin' ya. And you know if ya need my bat, or me, on any mission yoh are takin' you know you can count on me, right?"

Pamela Isley has posed:
"I'm always right," Ivy remarks, somehow, humbly. Though the side glance she gives Harley suggests they may have different opinions on just what it was that Ivy was right about.

"Vorps? I don't think I ever heard of him, how do you even know the guy...?" Ivy has to wonder, looking curiously at Harley, "you hang around the Titans, do you?" It was unlikely, but then, what does Harley ever do that is likely. "So...you know a cat who isn't a cat? Good to know." Ivy shrugs, "you're a terrible judge of who cares about you, Harl, I'll be the judge of whether he cares about you or not."

Ivy literally facepalms as her jokes proves to be a reality, "so you do hang with the Titans, amazing."

"I've been doing the good work," Ivy gives it a moment, and then peers at Harley again, "how goes the bounty hunting? Gave up on it already...?" Looks like she doesn't care about disappearing Titans, good riddance is her take.

Harley Quinn has posed:
"I am?" Harley furrows her brows, perhaps a bit worried now. "But you care about me.. I know that. April does too. And Terry. Or well, he did." then she leans in closer to Ivy when she says its a cat who isn't a cat. "He's like Schrodinger's cat now. Dead or not? Who knows? I am really hopin' not dead. But foh yoh to judge if he cares first he needs to come back!" honestly, sometimes her tales just seem too out there to be true..

And hanging with the Titans? Good joke, right? But true apparently! "Well, I sorta don't go much beyond the lobby. But I am still a psychiatrist, even if they took my license. I can help people.." she does seem to be doing the actual effort. Maybe whatever she saw in that video from Terry made her go the extra mile. "They ain't too comfortable with me though. Only met a couple o' 'em or so." and who can blame them considering her crime sheet in Gotham?

As for the bounty hunting... "We got Stiltman! Well, Lady Stiltman..." she says. "She had gone into this string o' crimes. But we took her out. I lost my favorite bat though..., and oh, have I told ya about Spiral already?"

Pamela Isley has posed:
"Of course I care about you, silly goose," Ivy reaches to ruffle Harley's hair affectionately. "I guess April is shockingly letting us stay, so, sure, she cares...never met this Terry guy though."

"Is he...? Interesting, I always thought of Schrodinger's Cat as a hypothetical thought experiment, if he's an actual one, maybe he just isn't for now and will be back on probability some other time, Harl, no need to worry." She nods, "that's true, let me know when he's back, and I'll decide." Because Harley couldn't possibly judge who has her best interest at heart...she did date Joker.

"I'm sure you can, Harl, you're a very good psychiatrist after all." She laughs at the mention of the Titans not being comfortable with her, "maybe because you spent time with the Joker killing people and causing general mayhem, and they're supposed to stop people like you...did you consider that?" She just shakes her head at the mention of Lady Stiltman, "I'm sure it was a tremendous achievement...glad I wasn't part of it though, thanks for not dragging me along."

Harley Quinn has posed:
"Woah woah.., sorta puttin' yoh fingah right on the wound, ain't ya?!" Harley says about her mention of hanging with Joker and killing people. But if there's someone that can do that is Ivy. So she just lets out a sigh, drooping her shoulders a bit and leaning in to Ivy's affectionate touch to her hair. "Sometimes it all feels like a dream ya know? Maybe I wish it all had been..., fohgettin' can be a powahful balm." she brushes some hair away from her face, now at least starting to appear more awake than she was earlier when Ivy arrived.

"And April has been a good friend. You know, I thought she was mostly scared o' me and lettin' me stay cos o' that but, dunno, she seems genuine doesn't she?" The tone almost as if she was seeking confirmation from Ivy. Yes, she is not the best judge of character. But then she leans in. "But apparently, she now has this ol' flame stickin' around so .., if ya see him don't just strangle him with yoh plants. He's called Casey. Or Crazy Casey as I call him. He's not right in the head I think .." because Harley is soooo normal. "But we played some Bad Dudes game, he wasn't too scared o' me." is Harley like Gossip Girl though? She sure likes telling Ivy about aaalllll the gossip going around in her life. "I think they may be smack-smackin' it togetha again."

"Don't worry Pam! I will get ya next time we go out!"

Pamela Isley has posed:
"Harl..." Ivy says softly, reaching to caress Harley as she speaks the words, "I'm your best friend, nobody cares for you like I do, and if you need to hear something that isn't nice...I won't hide it from you. Because I know you can handle it," she offers a warm smile and a slight squeeze of Harley's pale hand. "You don't want to forget Harl, forgetting is how you repeat the same mistakes. It's better to grow stronger and smarter. We both did, since we met, wouldn't you say?"

"I am actually confused by April, I didn't expect her to be such good sports, but she really is...I think," apparently Ivy hasn't entirely made up her mind quite yet. Though obviously, few humans would stay alive for as long in Ivy's presence, if she didn't like them even a little.

"I will find out for both of us..." Ivy speaks a solemn promise, she actually feels angry with herself for not having done so sooner. "Crazy Casey? I'll keep an eye for him, see if I approve of him."

Harley Quinn has posed:
There is some brief hesitation.. She isn't too sure if forgetting isn't just better. Hasn't her insanity done something similar? But then a grin quickly appears. "Yes, we did, didntcha?" because how could she not trust her best friend? "I mean, not suwah about smartah, I was already preeeeetty brainy befoouh.." but she winks at Pamela. "Smartest in Awkham.." That's not a big achievement, Harley..

"You do that. Talk with her, she's cool. And doesn't mind bein' seen outside with me, which is somethin'" That's normally left to either other villains or those that dont have a public image to defend. As Ivy then mentions Casey she nods. "Some sorta vigilante, but he's tryin' ta go straight. He's a mechanic so I suppose that's part o' why she likes 'im. All that grease and all that."

After a pause she then says quietly. "Hey Ives.." she smiles. "Thanks foh havin' come heah to New Yoik with me." she wraps her pale limbs around Pam and brings her in for a hug.

"I missed ya."

Pamela Isley has posed:
"If someone wanted to make me forget you, Harley, they'd be dead twice," Ivy assures Harley, tapping her on the shoulder, "we did a lot of good, Harley, and we could do a whole lot more of it." Ivy winks at Harley as she presses her finger to her lips, "never tell them how smart you are, that's one of the edges you have...aside from those knives of course."

Ivy wrinkles her nose at the mention of Casey being a mechanic, "ugh, contributes to pollution, best let those poison machines die." She does partake in a tight embrace with Harley, "of course...I would follow you anywhere, Harley," she does leave the part about being super wanted at the time in Gotham unspoken, no need to reflect on how it was convenient for her as well.
