Cast of Characters: Matthew Murdock, Wilson Fisk

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt had searched the documents Fisk had given him up and down looking for a loophole that might be used to screw him and Foggy and found none. He even had someone check into Fisk a little online, and that came back clean too. So despite what his life experience had taught him, maybe Fisk's deal wasn't too good to be true.

It was drawing close to the deadline when Matt reached out to the number Fisk gave him, letting the man know he was ready to sign and to set up the where and when for their meeting.

At the appointed time only Matt and Karen are in the office, Foggy once again off at court as they wait for Wilson Fisk to arrive.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
Mr. Fisk came down alone as he moves into the office dressed in a fine purple suit, his eyes moving along the books, everything as he steps forward towards Mr. Murdock and nodding towards Karen."Now then, everything is to your liking in the document, do I need to make any changes, Mr. Murdock?" The voice is smooth, as his right hand is offered slowly, not knowing if the man will notice, but a test none the less.

" I was able to push the press conference back, I had to deal with an incident at one of my factories, but that has been handled. So, next week we will do it, inviting the press, of course. If you need help with your speech, I have a lovely speechwriter, I can direct your way, he has worked for a few presidents and CEO, I used him when I was getting used to public speaking, he does wondrous work."

Matthew Murdock has posed:
"Mr. Fisk," Matt greets with a smile, as Karen shows them all to the conference room where the documents have been laid out. "I did hear about your factory, I hope everyone is alright?" he asks as he takes a seat.

He reaches out feeling for the documents, "As for the documents, they look good, my partner Foggy would like to meet you first before he signs but even he couldn't find any problems. However I did have one question, that may lead to a change. Nelson and Murdock, I know the plan allows us to take on pro bono work covered by our agreement, but especially in the early stages the work on your project will take the majority of our time, I was wondering if we could perhaps set up some money to hire some associates, to handle the bulk of the cases here, while we're working on the project."

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"Indeed, that is fine, and I will cover that." Mr. Fisk chuckles softly as he thinks for a moment, as he looks around the office."We will need to bring Mr. Nelson out of court to meet soon, then, I want both of you on this if possible, but yes, hire as needed. Also, do you wish to move your office, or keep this one for your team?

" Mr. Fisk brings his coffee mug up slowly, take a long sip of the liquid inside with a chuckle."Coffee is the most powering in the universe, one needs it to function after long enough, but shockingly enough, it has yet to be outlawed. Is there anything else you will need?"

Matthew Murdock has posed:
"Appreciated, a lot of our clients don't have the means to find other representation so it will mean a lot to them to have someone still able to commit their time to helping," he says before considering the other question. "Most of this floor of the building is vacant and I know the owner is anxious to sell, figured it might be worth buying and using it for a hub of our efforts in Hell's Kitchen, I have a friend who's arm we might twist to help open a clinic, and a few other endeavours we could base out of here to help the community."

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"Indeed, that is a good plan. Work out the details, submit the bill after it is ready. We will do it your way, of course, the buyer will be in the name of Hope for the future, for that is the project's name. I will be organizing, setting it up shortly, unless, of course, you have a better name, Mr Murdock. What you wish, it is your project now, if you need advice, my phone is open to you, of course, but money is not a worry for this."

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt and Karen both smile, "Hope for the Future sounds perfect," Matt says of the name. "Exactly what we're trying to create," he says as Karen jots down some notes about the building. "And sure, we'll speak with our landlord and get that process rolling. Now for the press conference, anything we should know? I assume you'd like one or both of us to speak there and well I'm pretty sure that'll be a first for both Foggy and myself."

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"You will do most of the talking, I will bring you out as the new head of my outreach program, that is all. Maybe a little speach, about how we need to take care of the youths. But you will do most of the talking, you are the leader, the one the world will look towards for the future Mr. Murdock, I have a meeting sadly. We can meet up again if needed, I will always find a time to carve out for our project. But, this is about my new safety systems, it means too much to rescheudle." With that he turns making for the door, as he waves over his shoulder.
