Warehouse 10 pm

The sound of silence is heard that is odd this place is normally alive, at all hours trucks, yelling folks, drug deals, arms deals, it's a place for illegal and legal trade, but tonight it's silent as the grave. Two-man walked into that warehouse two hours ago.

Miles had a bad feeling when he noticed them on patrol; it's one of those things that got his tingle in his spine, something about them needing to be watched. One car two men, not a deal more of a clandestine meeting of the minds, but than a shot rings out inside, about 15 minutes ago.

A large black man with a pistol in his right hand, as he leaves the sound of bullets still ringing in the night, from whatever he did inside of the warehouse. He is moving towards the car, something about him reeks of dangerous intent and murderous desires.

Miles Morales has posed:
Fresh off his failure with the Penguin in Gotham, Miles is alert to the prospect of danger. That's what pinged the large two men as they walked into the warehouse. Unfortuantely, that was -two- hours ago, and Miles had gone from Deeply Interested to Kinda Paying Attention all the way to Listening To Tunes And Chilling before the shot rang out.
That sudden sound makes him scramble from his hidey-hole awkwardly, limbs flailing as he pops his head up to look down at the alley. And for those fifteen minutes, Miles' attention is back to Deeply Interested. Invisibly, he crawls down the wall toward the sound - going still as the large black man with the pistol pushes out of the warehouse. Dangerously close, and only unseen due to his adaptive camoflauge, he's two feet away from the man as he leaves. And he stays there, frozen, until he's headed down the alleyway, Miles tracking where he goes.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
The man is quickly leaving the scene, as he is heading out in that car, he is not stopping. He is barreling out of there, that car is making a sharp turn, and then it is out of the gate, leaving whatever happened long behind in the dirt.

Inside of the warehouse, a howl is heard as if animals are coming, each howl sounds like a wolf or a large dog.

Miles Morales has posed:
Oh man, the guy with the gun, or the war-- oh man. Howls. It's definitely the howls. Miles drops from the wall down to the ground and heads for the door, adjusting his slightly ill-fitting mask a little bit and popping the door open so that he can creeeep his way inside.
He's still using Adaptive Camouflage, and trying to be stealthy, tiptoeing into the warehouse to see what's making those sounds.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
Inside is a Middle eastern gentleman, wearing a very expensive suit. His eyes are deep blue, a little five o'clock shadow, perfectly groomed. His hand is holding cigrette, that is burning out into the ground, his head is leaking from a bullet in the dead center of it. Around him, are chess pieces all of them Kings.

The howl is a group of wolves, that are in cages in the back of the room. A red light is blinking on each, with a timer slowly going down form 2 mintues, as they are pace back and forth, ready for the meal of the evening.

Miles Morales has posed:
The white-diamond eyes of his mask invisibly expanding in shock at the scene, Miles standing up slowly to look around and make sure he's alone before he creeps his way forward, inspecting the guy.
Yep. He's dead. And Miles isn't entiiirely ready for it. He shrinks back, camouflage flickering off as he does so - and then he notices the timers. "Oh no." he says, webs coming up suddenly to fire off at the cages, trying to seal them as he pulls out his phone and calls the police.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
The cages are blocked, the wolves pushing against them, not able to move it. The mechanism is gummed up with those well-placed webs and will not force through it as the call is placed. The operator dispatches officers to the scene, normally.

It takes 15-30 minutes for someone to get down here, but tonight it is 5 minutes. Judging by the sound of sirens in the distance, coming quicker than they should, it seems like the police are waiting for this call.

Miles Morales has posed:
And Miles takes another step back, his phone lifting up to snap a photo of the man and the cages. Then he turns for the door and heads out, ducking his way back up the wall and activating his camouflage to watch and wait for the police to come.
They're getting here /fast/, which is odd for this part of town, and Miles wants to see how they react to the gruesome scene in the warehouse.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
Those four cars showing up, as they move inside of the building, the sound of them talking can be heard."Kingpin, aint' going to like this, can you get those cages open, Bob?"

The sound of men struggling and as the sound of the metal can be heard, then a snarl as they are rushing back to the cars, taking off into the night.

The sound of meat and teeth filling the night, at the end the wolves got to eat, and whoever did this is going to celebrate his victory.

Miles Morales has posed:
That.. is not what Miles expected. He makes a note on his phone 'Kingpin?' and heads on up the wall to the roof. He's going to have to find Peter and let him know about this, or at least one of the other various members of the Spider-hero community.
