Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Heather Danielson, Wally West, Kian

Heather Danielson has posed:
It's a Thursday afternoon, and Heather is placing dishes from her lunch into the dishwasher in the main area. Her hips are twitching left and right as she does so, some classic rock music playing on a nearby bluetooth speaker. Most notably today, is Foghat's 'I just want to make love to you'.
And she puts the last dish away before rolling her neck and throwing her hands in the air to do a little spinning move like she was all by herself without anyone watching.

Wally West has posed:
Suddenly, even in the midst of Heather apparently rocking out to some solid classical rock, a steady breeze precedes Wally's arrival, but the (Other) Flash arrives on perfect schedule, dressed in his red suit and electric blue accentation. "HEEELLLOOOOOO!" he calls out, apparently quiteh appy to be back. His mask is not on his face, leaving his facial features to be easily recognized.

He notices Heather and runs over. "Heeeeey there. Havin' fun doin' dishes? You know I could help wash 'em?" He'd get it done in like two seconds flat, but at least he's polite enough to ask first.

Heather Danielson has posed:
Well, she's not a speedster, and can't see between the ticks of the clock, but Heather isn't stupid. She smirks as Wally makes his entrance... and then as he appears beside her, she simply reaches over and presses a manicured fingertip into a button on the dishwasher. "What's what this machine is for." she says.. and as she says that, the machine starts up with it s usual gurgling sound.
"So, Flash." she says as she eyes the suit, "Welcome home.. I'm sorry, I think I may have bumped into you once before here at the tower, but if I did, we never had a chance to actually officially meet." she adds as she holds a hand out, "The press named me Knockout."

Wally West has posed:
Wally laughs. "I -know- but I'm saying I'm much faster than a dishwasher...unless-" he fake gasps. "You think the dishwasher does a better job?!" Flash eventually just laughs, before he crosses his arms over his chest. "Yeah, I think I've seen you a couple of times here in the Tower, but we haven't really talked. But, Knockout makes sense." what, she's pretty. "but nice to officially meet you."

He outstretches his right hand for a handshake if she might like.

"Remind me how long you've been with the team?"

Heather Danielson has posed:
Well, since she had already offered -her- hand, she accepts the proffered one from Wally. "Oh, it's not about the quality of the work. It's about the convenience. I always thought superspeed would be one of the most boring and tedious powers ever. I mean... to you, you're doing things at normal speed, and the rest of the world is like in stop or slow motion, right?" she asks.
But she shakes her head, "I mean, you just jog, or run, or whatever... hundreds of miles, and it feels subjectively like you've been running for hours or days. I like to work out, sure... in fact I love running and such. But not -that- much." she adds with a chuckle.
But then she steps back and shrugs, "I'm technically still a probationary member. Been about six months total."

Wally West has posed:
Wally gives her hand a firm shake, even if he appears faux-insulted by her words about his Super Speed!

"Why I never - super speed is so much more than running! Its versatile. I can make a tornado by running in circles fast enough, phase through walls by vibrating my molecules....speed is so much more than just a light jog Heather and I am -apalled- that you would even suggest that." Of course, he's just teasing and he's not actually insulted, but still!

"Six Months, huh? Well, I think you'll probably be alright for the team. So since you think poorly of my speed, what can you do in terms of powers, if you have any?"

Heather Danielson has posed:
Nodding her head slowly, Heather smirks a bit, "Tornado.. by running." she replies with a shrug. "But.. sure." She's pretty decent at reading people, but she seems suddenly worried that she might actually be offending Wally. "I mean... sure, that's cool but..." then she catches on and smirks, "Oh funny." she states.
She shrugs and reaches for the fridge to grab two bottles of water. One of those is tossed Wally's direction. "I feel like I'm settling in a bit. But it feels a bit weird. Part of my whole schtick is being super strong. But I am like the single weakest super strong type on the team. So..." She shrugs, "Aside from that, my job is to take hits for others since I heal so fast it seems like sometimes I never even -got- hurt."

Heather Danielson has posed:
For the record, Heather is in the kitchenette area, having just finished loading the dishwasher after her own lunch where she was surprised by Wally's arrival. The two of them have been verbally sparring as they introduced themselves to each other.

Kian has posed:
The flutter of wings might mean Gar, but it's not a bird, green or otherwise, and they sound like really large wings.  Kían drops down the open elevator shaft and towches down lightly -- and then stops.  "Oh!  /Kíe/!" he says, a bit flustered, and bows in greeting.
And then he stops again.  Heather he knows, this new person, he does not.  And he still has trouble keeping straight in his mind when to use personal names and when to use codenames.  He assumes the stranger is supposed to be here since the alarms are silent; beyond that, clueless.
The practical upshot of which is that the little birdman just stands there irresolutely a moment, before deciding to complete his original mission.
    Purple Kool-Ade, of course.
With a little sugar in his system, he regards the newcomer.  "I haf not see you before?"  It is phrased as a question, and his accent isn't that of a local.  And without preamble, he turns to Heather and states, "I do not know hwich name to call you hwen others are here."  Well, if nothing else, Kían is direct and to the point....

Wally West has posed:
Wally laughs. "I don't think this team measures each other by how strong, fast, or tough we are." He smirks at Heather. A water bottle tossed in his direction is a water bottle that is caught in his direction, uncapping it and taking a quick chug of the drink, though he doesn't drink all of it.

"Goootcha. So your a brick wall. Nice." He fingerguns. Believe me, regardless of how strong you are, we're probably lucky to have ya." Then suddenly, Kian is coming in hot as he flies on in. "Heeeey there neighbor." he says quickly. "I'm Wally. AKA the Flash. Nice to meet you, Mr...."

Heather Danielson has posed:
"I wouldn't say brick wall, I'd say self-repairing screen door." remarks Heather. "As in, if bullets are flying, you don't want to hide behind me as they will likely pass right through and hit you anyway. But... yeah. I am a damned Energizer Bunny. I keep going and going even with what should be fatal wounds."
And then she grins, "Hi Ki!" she says, "I made a fresh pot of your Kool-Aid earlier. Hope you don't mind." she says as she gets out of the way.

Kian has posed:
"Kían," he answers Wally, "but Kíi iss okay."  He pronounces it very subtly different from Heather's "Ki", but you'd kind of have to be listening for it.  "It iss my frien'-name back home, an' hyu are my frien'," he adds, addressing her now.
And then a flicker of a shadow crosses his expression, that he tries to banish with a long drink of his Kool-Ade.  He doesn't like to think of that first fight with the People Who Can't Count, and Heather talking about her powers of recovery unfortunately bring it to mind.
Unsuccessfully banish, apparently.  "I will prefer to not haf some-one shoot at me in the firs' place."

Wally West has posed:
Wally smirks at Heather. "So don't get behind you if I'm trying to move out of the way." he smirks. "Got it. Though I don't think I'll need to move behind you, I'm faster than bullets." He says with a smirk, though his attention shifts to Kian.

"Nice to meet you Kii." He shrugs then, before he tilts his had at the fellow at his interesting grammar, though its not the first time he's met someone with interesting speech patters.

Kian has posed:
The pronunciation is close enough, and Kían's aware that his own handling of English is less than perfect.  He refills his tumbler, and hops up onto a stool.  "I am not sure, iss your name Wal-ly, or iss your name Flass... Flassh?" he corrects himself, although it's still not quite right.  "I still fin' havin' differen' personal names an' hero names confusin'."

Wally West has posed:
Good enough.

"Well, I'm both. My real name is Wally, my heroic codename-" he gestures to the lightning bolt symbol on his chest. "Is Flash." He smiles to Kian then. "Something tells me your not from around here."

Kian has posed:
"That..." Kían begins with a faint smile, "iss maybe an under-state-men'.  I am not of Eart'.  There was an ac-ciden', or somethin', I do not know exac'ly hwat happen."  He shrugs; feathers rustle, and he takes another sip of his purple sugar water.  "And hwile I can tell hyu about my worl', I can not tell hyu hwere it iss from here.  I do not even know if I am in the same universe."
He sounds oddly at peace with that.  "I do not know if I thin' of Eart' as my home yet, but I am gettin' use to the idea."
