Date of Scene: 31 October 2020
Location: Noonan's Sleazy Bar
Synopsis: Wade and Spiral make peace.
Cast of Characters: Wade Wilson, Spiral

Wade Wilson has posed:
It's Early in the evening when Wade asks Spiral to go to a shady bar in Gotham with him, and he's sure she's angry with him, but when they enter he immediately pulls out a glock and holds it up. "No one look at her arms or I'll shoot you in the arm!" he threatens, before putting his gun away and heading to a table in the back.

They do, indeed, gracefully turn their heads away from Spiral.

Spiral has posed:
Spiral isn't actually there yet. But at the appointed hour, she teleports into the middle of the bar, appearing with a pop. And looks around the place, not being that familiar with Gotham. She spends a lot of time with Harley, and Harley has PTSD when it comes to Gotham, after all.

She looks around - dead silence, everybody getting on with the serious business of drinking. Not a single comment, not even a look. Hmm. This place seems quite nice.

Except it has a Wade in the corner. She stalks over that way. "Harley doesn't like Gotham any more. Not sure why, it seems quite nice. What do you want?".

Wade Wilson has posed:
"Her ex boyfriend is one of the most famous criminals in the entire city." Wade answers as he shoves a large beer across the table for her, then takes a sip at his, raising the bottom half of his mask. "After the last time, with the therapy and the accidentally getting us onto a hidden camera show... I started thinking."

Yes, it's //now// that he started thinking. "I think that we should all just be friends. I like you both, but it makes sense if we're all friends. If I choose one of you, it ruins your friendship, and then maybe one of you will stop being friends with me! So..."

He throws his hands up. "I think the real answer is that we all live as good friends and go to Tahiti."

Spiral has posed:
Hidden camera show, and to think Spiral almost forgot, silly Wade. "Enh. That was foolish. Our employer probably is going to be unhappy with me, again.". A hand points at Wade. "I blame you." she decides. Obviously.

She does awkwardly sit down opposite him, her arms taking up enough space for two. Spiralspreading is a thing.

"I suppose.". She sounds a bit grudging. Then she perks up a bit. "Tahiti must be some sort of interdimensional nexus, it's interesting. Maybe we should explore it. Maybe there's a rent in spacetime there, some Darkforce leaking through or something.".

Wade Wilson has posed:
"Tahiti is a wonderful place. I can't wait!" Wade takes a drink, then reaches over for one of her hands. He sounds sincere when he asks, "So, are we good? Are we going to decapitate the enemies of mutantkind with our bitchin' swords?"

"And hey, you can't blame me, I thought she was a real therapist!" Though, he pasues, and adds, "Okay, I'm still not sure if she was a real therapist or not..."

Spiral has posed:
"I suppose it depends on Harley as well, but I'm sure she will say yes. I've never heard her ever say no to a scheme, really.". Spiral tilts her head, looking over the bar. "Except a visit to Gotham, but even there, she complained, and then decided to go anyway. There is a place that sells egg sandwiches she likes, we went there.".

Two pairs of hands clasp in front of her, while another one plays with a strand of white hair, and the rest just lies on the table. "I don't care.". Then her eyes narrow a bit, and she leans forward slightly. "You were talking about me in Xavier's. Is that why we are having this conversation?".

Wade Wilson has posed:
"Kind of. I was thinking... if we're all a bit crazy, shouldn't you and Harley date someone a little more sane, you know, for narrative contrast? Or so that there can be one person who helps the other stay down to Earth!" Wade takes a sip of beer, considering. "I'm definitely not down to Earth."

Spiral has posed:
"I am not interested in dating. "Spiral admits. "Such things only brought me pain. And others pain, too. None could like such as me for long. But...". She sighs. "I found you easy to get along with. Easier than other humans... you have a lot of star power, you're very funny, you would be adored by audiences I am sure.".

She reaches out to peel up the sleeve of his arm very slightly. "And this bothers you. Maybe that's why.". She doesn't tell him how trivial his burden is for once, she's being polite.

"I can tolerate very few people, and very few people can tolerate me. Harley is one. You seemed to be another.".

Wade Wilson has posed:
"I don't tolerate you, I //like// you!" Wade reaches out to grab one of her 'extra arms, with the one she isn't already handling. "You're one of the most beautiful women on Earth, you're a badass who teleports and dances and cuts people with six arms! And you feel the same way about yourself as I do about me."

He leans in, shaking his head. "I could date you forever, I'd never get tired of you, but I accidentally hurt your feelings out of stupidity more times than you deserve. You should have someone who makes you feel good about yourself and doesn't do stupid things to impress you!"

Spiral has posed:
Spiral lets him grab her hand - she has enough spare, after all - but one of the clasping pair unclasps, and she wrinkles her nose a bit. "Nobody can make me feel good about myself. I want nothing more than to dance in the chaos between dimensions on my own... forever. A little while ago I got a brief taste of that sort of freedom, once again."

"But I can't, so here I am on this... mudball.". She looks around the bar, though it's more the people in it that seem to draw her misanthropic eye.

"Impress me?". She looks back over to Wade again. "You mean, your audition technique?" she wonders. "i like it. You're funny. You could get a comedy hour show or something like that. But...". She frowns. "What were you saying about me in Xavier's school?" she wonders, again.

Wade Wilson has posed:
"I was saying that I fucked up and made you and Harley Quinn hate me because I'm an insecure idiot and you both deserve better, more or less. And I was also considering that maybe people as crazy as us shouldn't all be dating each other! //Someone// has to say no when one of us is holding a bomb and about to blow up a deli stand." Wade explains, then holds her hand up a little, mouthing numbers, counting her fingers.

Spiral has posed:
Spiral has three fingers and a thumb, it's like there's a gap where the middle finger should be. And as a testament to just how much she tolerates him, she lets him drag her hand out and count the digits like that, though she does sigh, a bit irritated. "Yes, there is so much twisted about me." she says.

"Who were saying that to? X-Men???". She's a bit aghast at that. "Elizabeth and Rogue no doubt spread lies about me there. Why do you want to blow up a deli stand?" she wonders. "Even I wouldn't do that.".

Wade Wilson has posed:
"I don't want to blow up a deli stand, but sometimes they short-change you, or rip you off on the cheese or the meat, or stare a bit too long when you aren't wearing a mask..." Wade grunts, continuing to stare at her fingers. "Oh, I wasn't thinking that. I just never noticed, and then my imagination ran away with me."

"I was just talking to Jean. Jean's cool, very wholesome." He releases her hand to reach into one of his pouches, pulling out his phone, then scrolls to a photo of Jean smiling and drinking hot cocoa in a sweater in the mansion kitchen. "See? She wouldn't hurt a fly."

Spiral has posed:
"When we are in Tahiti, and I am on the beach, take a photo of that, and show it to Elizabeth, and tell her that.". Spiral starts laughing, and abruptly all her arms stretch out around her to full extension as she stretches. "She will love it. And I will love to hear the response.". A somewhat evil sparkle of merriment can be seen in her blank eyes.

"My old employer loves them, he thinks they make good stars. I find them an annoying bunch of do gooders, though they have their uses, and some are more fun than others.".

Wade Wilson has posed:
"I think they're fun, and they let me live there and eat their food when I feel like it, as long as I don't murder anyone." Wade moves his hand up, doing a peace sign at his eyes. "Do this, but with all of your arms."

He raises his phone, aiming it up at her, waiting for the pose.

Spiral has posed:
"Okay... so long as you show it to Elizabeth. Or Rogue. or Gambit. One of those. All of those!". And she holds up all six hands at the same time, much peace, though it looks a bit weird given one of the fingers is missing and she has to use th enext one along. Big gap in the middle.

When she's done, and he takes the camera, she prods at him with her metal hands. "Promise. And tell them I send my love.". She cackles a bit. "You might not be welcome there any more though.".

Wade Wilson has posed:
"I promise!" Wade downs his beer after taking the photo, then stands up and slips the phone back into his pocket. He reaches for her hand, nodding. "Okay, it's time to go on a Gotham bender. If we see the Joker, let's beat his ass for Harley!"

Spiral has posed:
"Alright. Lets go have a look around. It's nice and dark here. And I think I heard some people beating the crap out of someone outside when I teleported in.". Spiral gets up, and climbs out of the little cubbyhole she's in, casting an eye over the still quiet bar. She nods, happily.

"And we can get one of those egg sandwiches. Or three, and I'll bring one to Harley after. No beating any Jokers though, I hear he is very dangerous...".
