Wilson Fisk has posed:
1pm Wilson's Office

Mr. Fisk is a man of the people, so he wanted a woman of the people. He wanted something different for his first interview. Digging into the web and finding talking heads, he picked one. Miss. April O'Neil. Not yet famous, but her voice was aimed more at the youth, the disfranchised, the broke. His target audience, as an ex-criminal that has risen above his means, from Hell's Kitchen to the boardroom.

Mr. Fisk's massive form is dressed in a simple purple suit with a red tie, is sitting behind his desk. His hand is holding papers as he waits for her arrival. The older black woman at the desk would bring her in. Delores always so good and reliable to him. As he waits, reading over the emails now, his hand is typing out responses to each one. They are coming quickly. He can stay ahead of them for the moment, but would that trend keep up? Only time will tell.

April O'Neil has posed:
April's dark hair is tied back in to a bun on the crown of her head and she's wearing a pair of black framed glasses that are barely even prescribed with actual lenses as her vision is actually quite good, and she's mostly wearing them just for style. A black blazer and black slacks makes up the bulk of her clothing as she arrives at fisk's office and thanks the one who brought her. She walks toward his desk and offers a smile to him. "Mister fisk." she starts. "It's a pleasure, and honor, to be invited here to meet with you." She says, looking around. "This place is, quite impressive!" She also adds with a smile present on her visage.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"Now welcome to my office, Miss O'Neil. The pleasure is all mine and the honor, is mine as well." A soft chuckle escapes the massive black man as he leans back in his chair, as he motions to a comfy chair in front of the desk."I'm as you most likely know, Mr. Fisk running for mayor. I wanted someone of the people to do this, someone that ask hard hitting questions. That seems to be you, so than when your ready to make me bleed, lie down your first volley of arrows and hit me with said slings."

April O'Neil has posed:
April smiles once more as she takes a moment to open up a leather satche she'd brought with her. "Let me just set a few things up to record us." She says, using his desk. "If you don't mind..." She puts down a camera pod that is not very large, but has high quality cameras aiming at where they'll both be seated and uses her tablet computer to line them up. "There."

April now takes her seat and holds that tablet in front of her. With things rolling, so to speak, April smiles over at Fisk. "First off, let me say that your announcement for this position has been met with a lot of positive vibes, due to your past. People think you're far more likely to represent the interests of those who could really benefit from some serious policy changes in the city. Is this the hope you're looking to spread?"

Wilson Fisk has posed:
Mr. Fisk nods slowly, watching the setup's work, as his hand is adjusting his tie for a moment."Not at all, do as you need." His voice is warm as he watches her as he waits now. His hand brings a cup of coffee slowly to his lips to take a little sip, as he chuckles. One of those infectious laughs that fill you with glee.

"That is not a political move; it is not something I'm spreading with the intent to control, to make myself more likable." Mr. Fisk nods slowly as his handsets the coffee back down on the desk. His eyes moving to April as he speaks softly."But, yeah, that my goal is to make sure no one goes hungry, no one has no power. People are safe, protected that we have properly funded programs to do so. I have started this work myself in my home of Hell's Kitchen. But, now I wish to help in a wider way, for that one needs to get into the arena."

April O'Neil has posed:
April observes Wilson, giving himher full attention as she nods her head softly to what he says. "I see." She quietly says before continuing. "After your announcement, there was a lot of talk about your criminal record." She dives right in to the juicy parts, clearly. "Would you be interested in outlining what happened with all of that in your history for me? I mean, clearly you've overcome it at this stage of your life. But that mean's you're a poster-child for criminal reformation. This ... officer, itself, is essentially a palace. How did you end up with a criminal record, and how did you go from that, to where you are now?"

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"I was born in Hell's Kitchen. My father was involved in crime, tied to a family at the time late 70." Mr. Fisk watches her now, his fingers steepled in front of him, as he leans back in the chair, his eyes on April's with a soft chuckle."I was in his den of sin, so to speak. I was raised in this place, witnessed his deeds, but I did not speak out. One does not snitch on one's own father." His voice is filled with pain as he remembers those days, with a soft sigh of pained air escaping his lungs.

As he leans forward now looking at April with a little sigh again, as he starts up the story."When the raid came, I was taken at 18, due to my age and my own knowledge of it all. I was given 5 years in the big house, the slammer. Inside, I focused on learning everything, getting my GED, and starting college courses in business. I made a vow that day to never go that road, to never fall again!"

April O'Neil has posed:
A quick smile is shown to him across the desk, and April nods hr head softly again, two small times. Her eyes drop to her tablet on her lap as she looks back up at him. "Well, you've certainly held up to your dedication to achieve something far more than that kind of life, that is... utterly evident." She says, following those words up with a little laugh, as she has a bubbly personality, even if she's trying to subdue it some for this interview.

A quick clearing of her throat and April continues. "So then, your bid for being the Mayor... What does Wilson Fisk think he can do to fix some of the issues plaguing the city and its many current plights? What do you want the people to know you're intending to focus on, should you get the job?"

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"My war is on poverty, to bring in more jobs. To brign in more services to help, to fix education. To get us ready to take the world on, as well as we handled the invasion. If we can mount an attack, with that much fever towards that, we can become once more the greatest city in the world." Mr. Fisk nods slowly, as he sips his water slowly watching April for a moment."I will also be now, and forever open to questions. I will not hide behind a closed door, you can or have anyone in this city email me a questions at ASKFISK, it goes straight to my email. Now, than I have been doing it all afternoon and morning answering emails from the lovely residents of this city, telling them how we can save our city!"

April O'Neil has posed:
The first part gets a soft few nods out of April before the last bits make her crack another smile. "A valiant effort, but I imagine answering that many inquiries is going to be a bit difficult, once the word gets out about how to contact you. But still, your efforts are admirable. A lot of people in this city want answers, especially after all that's gone on this year alone."

After a second of pause, she continues. "What do you know of your competitor, Antony Cattaneo? and how would you say you differ from what he's offering to the people of this city?" She then asks next.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"Of course, I will do it even if I burn the midnight oil. I never said I would respond in a time frame, Miss. O'Neil that would be a false hope. But they will be read, and I will try my best to adress it." Mr. Fisk nods slowly watching her for a moment. As the second question gets a smile out of him slowly, as his hand rest on the desk in front of him."Mr. Cattaneo is a good man, and a fine man. He has done a amazing job given what he has been delt, but times are changing so much is changing in this world. The invasion, poverty is getting worse, jobs are neeed. We need a new way to move forward, no longer needing to have a politiions telling us what to do, think or say, we have reached this point due to their buddy buddy system. They wash each other's back and now it's time for a man of the people!"

April O'Neil has posed:
April is quietly observant of him as he replies to that question and she just bounces her eyes down to her tablet, then back up to him. "What would you say to the people who are tired of the rise of the 'super villain'?" she asks then. "Those who say that ... mutants, and metas, have-- and are --leading to a rise in a need for better mental healthcare, to avoid creating the super villains, who inevitably gain power, but are too mentally unstable to use it for good, rather than evil? Are these issues you're interested in addressing as Mayor?" This question being one close to April's base, since she reports on super hero related subjects a lot on her website and internet platforms.

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"I think mental health is somethign not just in the so called super villains. Yes, this is a large explain that the world can see, but anyone that needs help should get it. I will, also try and get medical help to more people, more available means more thepary more help, for both the meta-humans and the mutants of course. They need help, maybe with the right help less attacks, more healing can happen in our city. For at the end of the day, we all know this NEW YORK is the greatest city on the earth, we need towork togther to build. Not against each other, only than can we heal from the last few crazy years into a bright new future."

April O'Neil has posed:
A smile is given to the man across the ornate desk from where April is seated, she nods her head gently again to what he all lays out there. "Well then." She says. "Lets say you are elected, you do become the next Mayor of New York... in the end, nothing lasts forever, right?" He gets a small grin from her there before she continues that thought.

"Where do you want New York to be, after your time as its Mayor is over? When you step away from it, how would you like the people of New York to look back at your time in office, and how would you idealy see the city going forward?"

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"We will be more educated, better protected, better with money in all of our pockets. Holding our heads with pride filled smiles, at our wonderful city. Not a utopia, but a better place than the day I took office." Mr. Fisk chuckles softly, as he nods towards April."People, will say well at least our last mayor was honest, told us what was going on, was talking to us. I will never blow off the people, I have run my company with an open door, even my janitor can walk in here and speak with me. That is how it should be, leaders should not hide from the people."

April O'Neil has posed:
April shows a warm smile at his answer before she simply nods her head. "We can hope for the best for everything that we individuall set out to do, and we should really hope for the best when it comes to what we strive for as a community, all pushing for the best for everyone." She shows him another quick smile. "Thank you for your time, Mister Fisk. I believe i've used all your available time for me up though, and I imagine you have quite a few e-mails waiting for your attention. Among other things."

With that, April cuts the recording and moves to stand up to offer a hand over desk to him. "This was good, thank you. I'll send the footage to your people to make sure they have the full unedited version. I am... not one of those types to edit things much anyway, the interview will be shown in its entirety, I promise, sir."

Wilson Fisk has posed:
"I picked you for your honor, Miss O'Neil you have a wonderful night." With that he stands up offering his hand towards April."If you ever wish to ask anything else, I'm but a phone call away. Have a lovely evening." With that he is heading for the door, as he holds it open for her, before he follows. So many meetings, so many emails, so little time to get it all done. But, first a vegan lunch of meatloaf.
