Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
Eight months. That's how long Cassie Sandsmark, aka Wonder Girl, has been away. She left messages for Superboy, Robin, and Impulse about having to leave and train on Themyscira, but with no follow-up. To be honest, Cassie doesn't even know if there's a team anymore. So much has happened recently. But after stopping in at the Themysciran Embassy in New York, she wanted to check in with her friends. And the most logical place to start was the Warehouse in Metropolis where they usd to work out of. And so, the young Amazon flies down to land on the warehouse roof, walking to the access door and opening it up. "So far so good," Cassie mutters to herself. "Here we go..."

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake is down there. Tim has brought a few things to the base. The place seems to have been out of use. right now tim is at a desk, as the computer announces someone coming in he looks up, and smiles when he sees who it is.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart is also down there in the warehouse, though he's chatting with Tim about something. "And then I was like 'Ugh, this is the most moded class I've ever even been in-" He pauses when he hears the alert announce who has arrived and Bart seems to pause. "C-C-C-CASSIE?!" He shouts up to her.

A second passes, like he doesn't believe it.

"CASSIE!"

Bart will try and Super Speed on over to her so he can give her the biggest hug evah.

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
Cassie walks down the stairs from the roof, smiing as the familiarity of the place welcomes her. Memories also flow through her mind. And then...she's suddenly hugged! "Laughing, Cassie hugs Bart back. "Hey, Bart..." She takes a step back, smiling, and looks him over. "You're looking good. How've you been?"

Cassie, herself, has changed. Eight months ago, she was still a 'late bloomer'; all skinny arms and legs, even if the Gauntlets of Atlas made her a powerhouse. Now, one would say that she's 'filled out', or 'grown into her body'. She's toned and much more athletic. And it's not just the physical change in her; Cassie stands and moves with poise and a confidence she didn't hav before. She continues her walk down the stairs, smiling at the other member of the team downstairs. "Hey, Tim," she greets with a slight smile. "How are you doing?" Then, after looking around, she asks, "Where's Conner?"

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake will look over and resists the urge to whistle, he would but he aint sure if she would be comfortable with it with the changes. He pushes a button a droid thing will fly from him and start dusting yup, tim was working on flying rumbas. He will walk over offering a hug as well. "He has class today."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart chuckles. "Hah, so far so good. But look at you, Cass! Lookin' good." Where Tim might be a bit more reserved, Bart has always been someone who says exactly whats on his mind. He does -walk- with Cassie back on over to Tim.

Sheesh, when did Cassie get hot?

Either way, He nods as Cassie greets Tim properly. "Yeah, Conner didn't want to ditch so the three of us could talk, so he decided to put his head into the books of this time." oh right, Bart's from the future.

"Oh well, snoozes he loses! How've you been Cass?"

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
"Well, a half year training in Themyscira wil do that to you," Cassie says to Bart with a smile. On the floor, she returns Tim's hug, then moves over to a chair to take a seat. "It's good to see you guys again. Sorry I didn't keep in touch, but they don't exactly have wi-fi there. Sorry that COnner isn't here, but it's good that he's taking school seriously." She looks between Bart and Tim, smiling wide. "So...what's been going on for you guys? I heard about some of the things that have been happening recently. Looks like the team is still going, and that's good. Anything you guys want to talk about or share? I can really use the update!"

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake smiles and says "Well yea and no, we had a bit of time off, but the gang has started getting back together recently. It is good to see you back with us. We have been hanging out again past couple weeks actually."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart zooms on over to be more in the middle and off to the side of Tim and Cassie, leaning against one of the walls as he yawns. "Well, thats what ya get for going to mystical island that is apparently hyper-medieival, if history books say anything about it." He shrugs a moment. "Well, I've been hangin' out with the Garricks, you know...the original Flashes? Fantastic time. Helpin' me keep my speed in check and giving me pointers as needed. Plus, you know, giving me a place to sleep at night. Other than that, been going to school over at that Happy Harbor place to keep up the ruse that I'm a regular kid...which is so moded."

He shakes his head. He looks over at Tim though. "Like the gargoyle-percher here said. We only recently started getting the gang back together."

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
Cassie nods to Tim. "Well, I just got back home yesterday. Talked with Diana today, and I'm going to start working with her at the Embassy tomorrow. Classes at Columbia won't start for me until September. And..." Cassie raises her arms and crosses them in front of her, making her bracers clink together and shine in the light of the warehouse. "You've got a full-fledged Amazon with you guys now. So...sounds like we're ready to kick some butt..."

Bart? In school? Posing as regular? Cassie blinks and looks rather shocked at the concept. "These are definately the End Times if Bart can stay still long enough to pass as 'normal'." She giggles and gives Bart a smile. "Seriously, that sounds great. I'm hppy and proud for you, Bart." she holds the happy smile, then takes a deep breath. "So...ummm...something you guys should probably know..."

There's a long pause before Cassie begins again. "You all know how I never knew who my father was? Well, I found him after I turned 18. Turns out...my dad is Zeus. Like...really. King of the Gods, Lord of the Sky, all that. So, I don't need the Gauntlets or Sandals anymore. I'm a Demigoddess."

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake looks over and nods his head a bit "So, hot and able to toss cars, and daughter of a god, got it. Will have to see what kind of fighting skill they taught ya see if you still need some lessons." He teases a bit but says "Seriously thought you ok with learning that?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart looks at Tim and narrows his eyes a little, before he looks over at Cassandra with a small smirk. "Sounds like a plan to me, Cassie. Was long overdue since we had our Wonder Girl back in action." He stretches a little bit, but he smirks at Cassie and just kinda shrugs a bit. "Hey, anytime. I gotta try to fit in, or else I'll start feeling the mode when people start asking me how certain events play out."

He knows about that?

But he nods. "Sky goddess huh? Man, history really loves their demigods. Kinda makes me wonder why everyone isn't already a demigod. Strange, ain't it? But are you alright with Z-man as your dad? He's kinda got a history of...uh..not being very great."

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
Cassie smirks at Tim, holing one of her bracers front and center again. "Hey, I didn't just buy these at the airport gift shop, you know. Anytime you want to put me to the test, let me know." Yeah, a *ibg* leap in Cassie's confidence levels. "And it was a shock, sure," she'll admit. "But, this is what I've always wanted. Power of my own. The ability to fight alongside Dana and you guys as an equal partner. Not relying on a couple of artifacts to give me a boost. I mean, yeah...you use gadgets too, Tim. But you train and work hard at using and making them. I don't know," she shrugs. "Maybe there isn't a difference between using the Gauntlets of Atlas to lift a car and having the natural strength to do it on my own. I just know that I'm happy with who I am. I don't feel like I'm...pretending, any more. If that makes sense."

Cassie nods at Bart, then sighs. "I mean, I know all about him. And yeah, he'd not exactly a Danny Tanner father figure. But...he seems to be proud of me. Of what I've been doing. So, I guess it's...sort of still getting to know each other." She shrugs. "Not everyone in Olympus is happy," she admits. "Hera almost encased em in ice with her glares. My half brother, Ares didn't seem to think much of me. But..." She takes her lasso off her belt and holds it out. "On my way back from Themyscira, he met up with me. Didn't appologize or anything, still wasn't in a Big Brother kind of mindset, but he gave me the lasso. Said it was a present from the family to me, to congratulate me on becoming an Amazon. It's indestructable, stretches in length, and channels Zeus' lightning." And indeed, the lasso seems to have electric discharges running over it's surface. Cassie puts the lasso back on her belt and shrugs. "I still don't know if I trust it all. But, I'm sure it will come in useful at some point."

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake nods, and says "You know we never doubted you Cas. I am just giving you grief about the training, Amazons are some of the few folks who have enhances strength and train to know how to fight not just count on punching someone into next week.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart nods only once at Tim as he speaks. "This is true." But then he looks over at Cassie for that long moment, a smirk as she shows her confidence. "I thought you'd never grow a spine, look at you! So much has changed in half a year." Bart says a bit more seriously than usual.

When she starts kinda sharing her heart on the whole family matter, Bart nods softly then to Cassie. "Well, if the gods are real, then most of the stories about them are probably based on something that actually happened. If I were you, I wouldn't trust -any- of them as far as I could throw them. Not your siblings and definitely not daddy dearest."

He lifts his hands then. "But your choices are yours, ok?"

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
"Grow a spine?" Cassie asks Bart with an arched eyebrow. Sure, she always knew that she lacked confidence, but...that still stings her. She shakes her head and sighs. "Anyways...I do appreciate the support, guys. And yeah, I'm going to be cautious about all this. And like I said, I'll be working with Diana every day, both in the Embassy and traininig. I'm sure she'll sense if anything's wrong."

Cassie looks around the warrehouse, taking note that it's still being re-furbished. "Okay. So what can I do to help get this place back up and running, so that we can all go out there and stop the bad guys?."

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake hmms and says "well right now I need to finish putting some solar panels on the roof. You going to be staying embassy or want us to set a room up here for you?" He will ask her.

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart can tell that his words stung Cassie and he immediately seems to backtrack off of that. "Agh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that, I just meant that you know, you're more confident, and it suits you." He rubs the back of his neck and he feels really guilty about that now.

He looks over at Tim as he saves him. "Yeah! I was gonna help him with that, if you want to join us. Though if you want to shack up here like the old days, in the innocent sense, feel free. Plenty of room!"

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
Cassie smiles. "I know, Bart." She's apparently wiling to let the remark go. Looking back at Tim, Cassie nods to the offer of housing. "well, I don't really need another room. I've got my mom's house and the Embassy in New York. But, having a room here would make sense. I man, I fly fast but it's still a long way from New York to Metroplis, so having a room here would work out well."

On the matter of base refurbishment, Cassie nods and stands up. "Okay. Just show me where the solar pannels are and point me to where they need to be installd. I can hold, Bart can attach and hook them up."

Tim Drake has posed:
Tim Drake nods, a bit and will move to show the two where they are, it is a nice stack that may take a bit to hook up, but will look like normal roof to anyone looking about.
