Cast of Characters: Robert Marksman, Blake Riviere

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman has decided to go out and have something to drink, sadly it is a couple months before it can be booze, but still going out and people watching where people don't know you can be relaxing. So tonight, he found Luke's bar. His phone on silent only set to let emergency calls through. He walks into the place looking about and heads towards the bar. He orders a coke, as he has a seat there, fitting in pretty well the only odd thing is he is wearing sunglasses inside.

Blake Riviere has posed:
A 'night out' wasn't exactly strange for Blake, indeed it tended to be the main way she got her meals. She might not be the sort to kill prey, but coaxing the willing and leaving them with foggy memories was still 'ethical enough' for the former 'bride'. Besides, stored blood was like microwaved food: it just wasn't the same.

With her hair secured up in an bun by her deep red ribbons and her form wrapped in the 'modern gothic' attire of her leather pants and matched bustier over a deep red blouse, it was almost a play in itself how decidedly she'd embraced the fun of the esthetic.

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman does watch people coming and going and his gaze checking the lady out in the mirror as she comes in maybe noticed, but he is at least trying to be subtle. He seems a bit of a thug from his attire, leather jacket well worn, jeans, biker boots. Those who know sunglasses may notice an oddity though the ones he is wearing are a very high end pair.

Blake Riviere has posed:
There were many myths about Vampires, some true, some not, some for one kind but not another...it was perhaps as complex as any mutation could be. Either way, the vampiress bore a reflection as much as anyone else, another step to blending in as she made her way to the bar.

If she was aware she was being watched? She showed no sign...or perhaps being watched was the point! After all, how else could one attract a 'dining companion?'

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman will nod towards the woman, as he turns around to lean against the bar. He is looking out amongst the place in general, but his gaze hidden from anywhere in particular. He seems to be relaxing a bit more, and sips his drink, as he continues his people watching.

Blake Riviere has posed:
The nod? It seems to be noticed, a tilt of her head and a quirk of her lips has Blake meeting the man in glasses gaze. There's a mote of curiousity, enough for her eyes to linger for a moment before she turns to the counter, signalling for attention and to place an order for her drink. Of course, Blake -could- eat and drink like a normal person, but it was like consuming rabbit. There were simply no 'nutrients' to be found for her in anything but blood.

Still, she could indulge in the taste!

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman offers her a smile and says "Evening." He looks over his shoulder and tot he bartender says "Her first drink is on me." He offers and looks to the woman "Robert, and to quote a cheesy line come here often?" He offers with a bit of a cocky grin.

Blake Riviere has posed:
There was humor to that line, but it was very much an 'inside' joke for the vampiress. Instead, she simply lifts her hand in thanks, placing her order before finally returning the introduction in her lightly accented tones. "Blake," she offers in return, a gesture with her free hand to herself as if to confirm the words before she offers a light chuckle. "This bar? No. I haven't often made it down to Harlem, but variety is half the fun, no?"

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman nods his head and says "Yea, I don't get down this way much myself but was out for a walk, and saw the place, and figured what the hell." He offers for what brings him here. "Seems a nice enough place and people here don't seem as much looking for trouble as a lot of bars ya hit." He comments on the place.

Blake Riviere has posed:
"A little trouble can be entertaining," Blake nods, another little shrug of her partially bare shoulders given as she reaches out to recieve her drink, idly sipping and gently drumming her painted nails against the surface of the glass. "But it doesn't make for a quiet, relaxing evening very often. I suppose it depends what one is looking for..."

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman chuckles and nods a bit "Well today was a long day at work, and to be honest if I was out looking for a fight, I would not have came into Harlem. People might get the wrong idea, and if I am fighting prefer it to be cause someone is an ass, and others to realize it."

Blake Riviere has posed:
Despite herself, there's another laugh from Blake, a gentle wave of her hand dismissively and a shake of her head that leaves some of her raven locks undisturbed thanks to the securing ribbon.

"Of course, I wasn't suggesting such a thing. Both trouble and peace can be found almost anywhere after all. But one wouldn't want to presume."

Robert Marksman has posed:
Robert Marksman nods, and says "So what brings you out to the bar tonight, have a bit of an idea on what got me here." He will finish his first drink and orders another, and when he does, she will hear it is just coke. "Will admit did not expect to be talking to a lovely lady this evening.
