Casey Jones has posed:
Midnight

That magic time when one can enjoy a beer and a movie without being bothered by customers most nights. But when one has to drive a towtruck, never a real promise, but right now, Casey is doing pull-ups dressed in a simple black work shirt, his arms curling up and down as he moves watching a old cowboy movie on his busted up work television. His build is muscles and scars, use to a life of fighting with the rough and tumbles of the world, that tv is cracked from a puck from a game of street hockey with the boys.

Above in the shadows, coming along the roof 12 men dressed in black, with a target to hit and beat, and maybe kill. They had found a lead on the trouble makers, this garage with that dumb jock below. His arms pulling him up and down quickly, as he watches now cowboy chasing down the baddies, as the screen blinks off as it finally dies. In mid curl up, Casey drops down to walk over, passing under the window. It is the right time for an attack.

Hiroshi Taka has posed:
It's not that Taka has any interest, even remote interest, in the auto body shop or its owner. It's simply that for one reason or another, her heightened awareness picked up on the shadowy movements of those masters of stealth. She has been investigating these stylized 'Ninja' for some time now. Ever since she got to New York City, she has learned that every international organization for good or ill is represented in the melting pot of true American culture.
Tonight, she found herself trailing behind the Foot members, observing and being patient. She needed to learn what they were up to. What their plans involved... and most importantly, how to stop them in any long term way more than simply beating up some of their thugs.
When the l ight of the TV goes out, her eyes narrow. It's a simple thing to stride lightly to the edge of the donut shop across the street and call upon her Ki to drastically reduce her bodyweight. This makes leaping from one roof to the other in near silence possible.
She lands on a corner of the body shop's roof where the Ninja are not focusing -their- attention.... as they are poised to strike.
In a voice raised loud enough for the man inside to hear her, she calls out, "One should never cut power during a western movie. Seriously. Manners!"

Casey Jones has posed:
Casey turns upwards for the voice as he hears someone calling out, as he is standing under that light moving, when the first three leap downwards crashing through the light, sailing towards him with an intent of violence. The voice is alerting him to the upcoming violence, as he is rolling out of the way grabbing his baseball bat, ready for the brawl inside of the messy auto shop, swinging fighting but up top is the real trouble.

Blades produced quickly, eyeing the new arrival."It would be best for you to leave. We are on a mission." A large man steps forward, holding his blade as it twinkles in the moonlight looking at the new arrival, as the other spread out to surround her with a wicked little laugh."One so long has much to live for, no reason to die on a roof."

"THANK YOU, VOICE, Goongala! Or get down here so I can see betcha ya next if you're on der side, ya know. Whatever you wanna do." The voice from inside from Casey calls as he starts to move towards a spot a little cleaner down below, his eyes watching them, hoping it's a friend it is okay above.

Hiroshi Taka has posed:
The intent was to give a warning, even if only momentary. Taka, dressed in her mask and loose flowing Gi. In fact, she has a black tanktop on under it, and the sides of the Gi are pretty much open, exposing that top. For a very good reason. If she calls upon her Kami, she'll need to -not- rip out of tight clothing.
Either way, she smirks a bit and takes a deep slow breath before reaching back behind her to her belt where she clasps two high tech tubes. At her grasp, they extend to roughly one meter in length each. Jo staves? Nope! She slams their ends together and now has a two meter pole... which snaps a blade out of the end like some switchblade.
Her own weapon catches the moonlight and she lowers the tip towards the swordsman as she says, "Looks like mine is bigger. Got anything else you want to compare sizes of?"

Casey Jones has posed:
The fight is down below sounds like a noise, with yelling shouting of Casey but that too is endes quickly, as the victims are thrown out the back as the sound of Casey running outside, starting to climb cheap rusted out metal stairs can be heard."YOUR PAYING FOR MY FUCKING WINDOW!"

The ninja watching the girl, the gai, the weapon all of it snarl at her as they start to run for the edge leaping off as they sail from rooftop to rooftop, off into the darkness of the night. They are not enough for two, but they will be back of course.

Hiroshi Taka has posed:
There is no point in pursuing. They might be hoping to draw her away so that their men inside can complete their job. That won't work of course.
She strides over to the entry point the Ninja used, and silently drops into the place... Yari spear pointed towards the sounds of combat. But her Ki awareness extended out in every direction... pinging on one who had been hoping to ambush her if she came inside.
So just as he starts to move, the spear is whipped about and the tip of it pierces the Ninja's Tabi slippers, pinning his foot to the floor. The scary thing is that she doesn't even turn her head to look that way. "Now now. Don't be rude." she admonishes as she tilts her head, listening for the sounds of the fight further inside.

Casey Jones has posed:
There is no more fight as Casey leaps at her with his baseball bat, walking around her slowly his eyes narrowed in his mask now."So than, your the leader. Aint' dressed liek the others, the bros are going to be happyto get the new leader." His voice is cold, as he steps forward swinging that bat at her, with a scream of rage into one phrase."Goongala!" His bat is swing with the force of a man use to using it to knock it out of the park, and to knock blocks off!

Hiroshi Taka has posed:
Pulling her speartip from the Foot Ninja's .. well.. foot, Taka takes a half step back.. at least with her back foot. This spreads her stance wider, and her spear-haft comes up to redirect the baseball bat.
"You have obviously not been paying attention." she says calmly as she absorbs the hefty impact, feeling the vibrations in her hands like she just slammed an aluminum bat into a telephone pole.
"Please. These shadow idiots are my quarry." she states even as the wounded Foot Ninja throws a line up and launches himself up and out of the entry hole.

Casey Jones has posed:
The bat is dropped now with a clattering on the roof top, as he looks over at the foot stabed foot clan."Getta outta here you purple mouthed freak!" His voice is a howl of rage, as the last ninja hobbles off agter the others, as he grins at the girl."Cool, I'm Casey Jones. Thanx ya for the assit and a stuff. I was about to have some buritos, want one and I mean like cook em not like microwaved and stuff."

Hiroshi Taka has posed:
Burritos have become synonymous with 'American' these days, but Taka lifts a brow. She herself is wearing just the simple domino mask that really shouldn't conceal an identity, but it still does it seems. She activates a control stud on her spear.. and the blade is retracted. Not only that, it is retracted through a slit designed to clean it. So any blood that -was- on the blade is cleaned off and expelled to the rooftop.
Taka inclines her head and breaks it apart to stow the component parts on the back of her belt. "I have never been invited to post combat Mexican food before. I accept." she states.

Casey Jones has posed:
Casey Jones nods slowly towards Hiroshi with a little chuckle."Shit, you need to meet the guys they will love ya." His voice is teasing, as he looks down at the broken skylight with a frown, as he slides out his beat up cheap cellphone placing a call, leaving a message with a dude named frank."Yo Frank, skylight again fix it." He hands up no more deets left, it seems this is not the first time nor would it be the last."Why can't ninjas use fucking doors." His voice is annoyed, as he walks to the door on the roof opening it quickly with a key, as he leads her down into his apartment.

Hiroshi Taka has posed:
Following quietly, Taka shrugs her shoulders. "One might say that it is a paradox. They seek to enter in a way that is unexpected, and yet everyone expects a skylight entry. So they might do better to -use- the door. Who would expect -that-?" she asks softly. Her voice -barely- carrying to Casey's ears.
But either way, she follows. "But that begs a question. What interest is this... please forgive any offense.. but what interest is this fading garage business to the Foot?" Yes. She knows their name.

Casey Jones has posed:
"No idea, just a unlucky bastard ya know." Casey watches her for a moment, as he walks over to start the stove as the flame burns brightly in the dark home."I mean, ya that is all. I never get them to talk, but maybe there be diamonds hidden here from a robbery or somethang ya know." His hand is opening the fridge to remove the beef, placing it down in the pan as he starts to season it heavyily, with a little chuckle."I mean, ninjas just ninja, your a ninja and you just ninja right?"

Hiroshi Taka has posed:
"I am no Ninja." offers Taka, -almost- bristling. "And if they were sent after you, then it was more than a robbery. Ninja are spies and assassins. They are not simple thieves. They would not have sent so many men to just... steal diamonds. They were after -you-. Not your business, and not anything concealed on the premises."
She stands respectfully back a few paces where she observes the cooking. "But please do not assume that anyone of Japanese descent in black.. is a Ninja."

Casey Jones has posed:
Casey Jones grins at Hiroshi with a little chuckle."I see, well than and I better get to finding out why, for I'm just a simple dude ya know." His voice is teasing, as he starts to flip the meat as he watches the girl for a moment."I assumed based on the giant spear, and marital arts and kiicking ass and quiet as the grave, ya be a ninja so sorry."

Hiroshi Taka has posed:
"You realize that traditionally, Ninja were sneaky assassins and spies. But not so good at real combat. Right?" asks Taka. "Ninjitsu is the Art of Invisibility.. not the art of beating ass." she states.
But she shrugs her shoulders, "Not that most Americans make that distinction. Being well versed in Aikido does not make me a Ninja. It makes me well versed in Aikido."

Casey Jones has posed:
"I see well, I got to meet this dude about the window. He texted me." Casey holds up his phone with a frown, as his hand is rubs the back of his neck."Nice, meeting ya Aikido master, who is not a ninja. Help yourself to food and stuff, I'll be back in a bit." With that he is heading for the door with a soft chuckle.
