Date of Scene: 01 December 2020
Location: A house in New York
Synopsis: Sally and Spiral find out they've met before and there's a surprise appearance from Rita Wayward! Wait, what?
Cast of Characters: Sally Houki, Spiral

Sally Houki has posed:
Are you a wanted criminal who needs to fake their own death? Are you a supervillain who's secret identity is nearly exposed and you need to be in two places at once to prove you can't POSSIBLY be that guy? Or are you a extra-dimensional guest to this reality searching for the perfect stunt caster? If so, Uncanny Sally may have the answers you need!

Rumors have always existed in the underworld of a figure who can help you get away with things if you really need to. The costs are prohibitive, but the perfect alibi *is* being in two places at once, isn't it?

Hunting around for the contact details with the right underworld figures makes it more than possible to get a single protonmail secured email. Contacts establisheqd, details are given, prices discussed, and then a meeting arranged. A residential area retail home, it would appear. It's still available, according to google, so it's probably just someone renting it out for a day. That'd be Sally, of course, and there she waits inside, slurping down a mocha frappucino while she waitss seated on a tile counter for her contact. That'd be Spiral, in this case.

Spiral has posed:
The clock inches towards its appointed hour. And then past it, by one second, two. And then Spiral appears with a pop of displaced air, in mid dance. "Fashionably late." she says, and looks around to spot a vacant chair, which she flops into, arms draped... well, everywhere, in her lap, over the arms of the chair. There's a lot of arms, especially when she's not standing up so some aren't behind her. Three of them idly grip weapons, as sitting down while bristling with sharp things isn't a good idea either.

"So. You want to be the casting department?" she asks, peering at Sally with her glowing eyes. As Spiral also sees other dimensions and realities at all times, for navigation purposes, no doubt Sally is an interesting sight. "Oh I remember you. Our twisted spiralling paths intersected at some point in space and time. At least, from subjective view of time.". She tilts her head, smirking at possibilities.

"Does this one require money?" she asks.

Sally Houki has posed:
...slooooowly looking up from her mocha frappe and phone, Sally pauses for a moment and then squints at her. "It's YOU," she says. "I remember you! The lady with the arms! Right. I don't forget a face." She's not talking about her face, though. She's talking about her arms. In fairness, that's probably the thing most people do remember.

"I mean, it's not my usual gig, so you'll need to read me in, but if you need me to copy someone for stunt work to protect you from liability, I can do that. It does cost 'the moneys'. I have to keep myself in mocha *somehow*."

Spiral has posed:
Spiral can't help but laugh. "Liability?". She has the 'oh, you sweet summer child' expression on her face. "Always my twisted form. None ever comment on my beautiful eyes. Or magnificent boots.". She does sound quite sarcastic there, however, as she crosses her feet at the ankles and stretches out long legs, showing off her furry boots.

"I wonder, how close must you be to provide a stunt double? Like, can an alternative Batman be here right now?" she wonders. "Or must I find the Batman first and bring him to you. Also, how long do they last. Much pain and effort potentially for limited reward.".

Sally Houki has posed:
"Would you like a demonstration?" asks Sally.

She puts her hands together behind her head. "I don't think you're twisted at all! It's actually very pretty." Absently, she's actually glancing back towards her phone and tapping a text message. "I can demoinstrate on you if you need a full scale example of how it all works. It's going to be *weird* for you but you can probably handle it. Uh wait, Batman?" she asks, perking up a little.

Spiral has posed:
"Pfft. I know how humans think. Twisted in body... and in more besides." Spiral replies, though she seems nonplussed, or even relishing it. One of her free hands waves from her lap. "Perhaps that would be good... I have often thought of joining dances with myself, but my time travel ability takes much effort.. and brings much risk.".

"Batman, merely a hypothetical.". She smirks, and shrugs. "Elizabeth Braddock would be a better prize. Or ... well, any X-Men, really.".

"Weird? You think I am fazed by weird?" she asks. "The dragon of Mojo is used to weird.".

Sally Houki has posed:
"Ah, yeah. I mean, I don't get involved *directly* in the squabbles," points out Sally, casually, "It's bad for business. But take a step towards her."

She's now focused directly on Spiral, of course. "Then another. It's not *perfect*, mind you, and it's a lot of work but you can definitely do your best Billy Joel. No. Wait. It's Billy Idol, isn't it. God, I always get them mixed up anymore." She pulls down the lid of one eyye as she stares at Spiral. "Hey, turn around," she tells her. Indeed, Spiral may feel strange for a moment, perhaps a little woozy or cotton-headed. It doesn't last, but she'll definitely feel ... a little depleted somehow. That said, if she turns, she'll find herself staring at .. herself.

Spiral has posed:
Spiral feels a bit funny, no weirder than a trip to the Wildways though. And begins to turn, when... *blam*.

Rita Wayword doesn't fuck about when she sees six armed swordmistresses, and the rodeo girl quickly drew her pistol reflexively, and shot Spiral in the back. Fortunately for Spiral, she's bullet resistant, but she still ends up knocked to the floor, in surprise as much as anything else. One arm goes to favour her back where the bullet hit, as she rolls over to the front.

Rita for her part is a bit bemused, looks around wildly, and covers Spiral with her pistol while eying Sally. "What's going on here? Is this one of Mojo's shows?" she asks.

Spiral, for her part, looks between the two of them and laughs. "This one has been cancelled. Get rid of her!".

Sally Houki has posed:
Well, this is a first.

Sally's staring at Spiral and her 'clone'. A clone that really doesn't look much like her, actually, all things considered. She tilts her head, squints, then replies, "Well, that doesn't happen very often. Have you destabilized your quantum whosits and whatits?"

Sally is not terribly precise when it comes to these things.

Spiral has posed:
"Get your hands away from the swords..." Rita tells Spiral, just as Spiral, who still has hold of two swords but beneath her body, is subtly drawing them out from beneath her so they are usable again. Not subtly enough, apparently. She stops that, not wanting to be shot again, but looks around for other things to do, just in case.

"Spiral was born into chaos, and that chaos has followed her ever since." the six armed one says by way of 'explanation' to Sally. "Why is she still here?" she asks, pouting a bit. "Cancel!".

Rita Wayword, for her part, doesn't like the sound of that, her gaze more and more focused on Sally. "Are you with her?" she asks, tilting her head a bit in Spiral's direction, though the gun is still pointing at Spiral, who she /knows/ to be a monster after all. She decides this is kinda weird, and she's no superhero even if she is brave, so starts backing away slowly, headed for the door, though gun still at the ready.

Sally Houki has posed:
"...but ... but ... " it's a learning opportunity and those don't come along every day! Still, professionalism makes demands of her and Rita simply blinks from existence as she steps towards the door, like she never was.

"My apologies. That wasn't supposed to happen, but you know, like I always say, you can't alwqays expect things not to get weird when you're dealing with, you know, weird stuff like super-powers!" She didn't actually say that. At any point. Ever. She evidentally thinks she did, though, as she carries right along.

"Still, nearly every toher time, it works just fine."

Spiral has posed:
Spiral gets up from her undignified position on the floor, and rubs at her back where she got shot. It's lucky she has tough skin. As Deadpool put it to her, 'nobody important has ever been killed by a Glock', just before he shot himself with one.

"It worked well enough. Too well, if anything." she admits. "Dancing with myself is perhaps off the table, then.". She settles back down on her chair again as if nothing untoward has even happened. "So, you must be near the target? But I didn't see anything, so perhaps you can be invisible near the target." she muses. "I am considering the possibilities here... but as teleporting and invisibility are possible here, I imagine that will not be too hard.".

She leans forward a bit on the chair. "Assuming you are happy to be close enough to some of my stars to work it. Some of them are quite dangerous.".

Sally Houki has posed:
"They have to be willing and aware of what I'm doing. If you'd tried to stop me, it wouldn't work. I can't copy someone who doesn't wnt to be copied. More to the point, I won't, but aside from that? Yeah, we *could* do that, and I could get into the movies! That'd be pretty cool." She's already forgotten what just happened, actually, or at least seemingly. "Though we probably should go somewhere else if that gunshot alerted anyone. This house is supposed to be abandoned. That fancy teleporting take two?" She has a sip from her mocha.

Spiral has posed:
"Oh.". Spiral doesn't bother to hide her disappointment when Sally mentions they have to be /willing/. "Well, that's not so much fun." she says mildly, getting up again from her chair almost as soon as she settled onto it.

"I suppose I can still find some use there, though. Multiple Harleys, perhaps. This one will think on it.". The teleporting thing makes her chuckle. "Such a cautious quantum slicer. Very well, we can dance to somewhere. Where would you like to be? Tahiti?". It's mostly a joke. But she starts dancing, just in case the answer is 'yes'.

Sally Houki has posed:
"Okay," says Sally, absently, not really paying attention. She's picking up her phone. Tahiti? Yeah, sure. Whatever.

"There are li-," but she stops herself. Wait, did she say Tahiti?

This is going to take some explaning to Heidi.

Spiral has posed:
"Oh. Okay. Everybody wants to go there." Spiral says, glowing eyes widening a little. Another nexus, like April's apartment, perhaps. It's just as well she danced a bit, as it's quite a long way.

In any case, a final twist and shimmy, and they are on the beaches of Tahiti - which isn't that pleasant really, as thanks to timezones its dark. At least it's nice and warm though.
