Cast of Characters: Artemis, Albert Rothstein

Artemis has posed:
It's late in Bludhaven, much too late for decent folk to be about. Especially at the airport. Inside the fenced-off area. Looking through cargo containers. Artemis has been searching for the Bow of Bast ever since the... incident... in Africa. She tries not to think about that. So now, after receiving a tip that the Bow was shipped via air freight, Artemis is in the Bludhaven Airport after hours.

The redhead is just a touch over six feet tall but the five foot crimson mane along with the black leather garb makes her look much bigger. And just a touch like a professional wrestler. Right now she's methodically breaking into another cargo hangar, using about as much finesse as it takes to break the door locks.

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein has just turned off the music he was playing while working on his car from his own place. He hears the sound of metal breaking. He will wait a moment, and listen again. Al agreed to help watch over the place, so grabs his maglight and heads out to check on things. He knows the area pretty well, so does not turn the light on yet, letting the dark of night help hide his huge form, and trying to avoid the pools of light stopping to listen now, and again as he heads towards the noise he heard.

Artemis has posed:
Whoever is breaking into the hangar isn't trying to be subtle, or even quiet. On the other hand, at least she's trying to minimize the damage as well. The hangar door is open, and the door looks like it was simply wrenched open in spite of the lock. She has a light of her own, of course, and is starting to check through the various manifests on cargo containers inside.

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein will step into the light his huge silhouette outlined in the doorway. While it may not be the smartest of things, he is more the brick than the smart hero and sometimes it does show. He will clear his throat to get attention, ready to turn his light on the intruder if they are bringing up a gun or such. "I don't think your supposed to be in here, they normally give the people who should be here keys."

Artemis has posed:
The woman turns fully, squaring off to face him. With the light behind him he gets a very good look at the woman. Yes, with the bared arms and long, flowing hair she COULD be a professional wrestler. Or in a rock video. She plants both hands on her hips, squinting as she replies. "I am looking for something very dangerous that should not be in the world of men. You would do well not to thwart me."

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein crosses his arms and looks at her. He does what not many can looks down to her from his height. The two looking a bit like a big brother and sister mad max duo. "Well, I don't know what your looking for miss, but I am afraid breaking and entry does not give me the most confidence in you, and if there is something dangerous here, I am not so sure, you should be getting your hands on it. He will step in and says "How about you and I step out and talk a bit more about this and why I should not be holding you for the police."

Artemis has posed:
Artemis looks up at the man, and she flashes a challenging smile. She may not be accustomed to people who are bigger than she is, but that doesn't mean she's intimidated by them either. "The only think I broke was the lock." she offers. And indeed, she does seem to be somewhat careful with the crates themselves. "We really don't need the police to be involved, and I don't have time to convince you that trying to stop me is a bad idea."

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein looks to her and just shakes his head, and says "Well we are going to have to go with one of those options." He moves to get in closer to her, but he does not grab for her, at least not yet. He was taught to fight by a very good fighter or two, and has a pretty good idea from the way she holds herself, that if this comes to a fight it aint going to be an easy one.

Artemis has posed:
Artemis remains there as he approaches, hands on her hips. Then she points as he gets closer and she can see him better. "You are bold, for a man who looks like a rooster." she declares. "But you have not swayed me from my task. I am Artemis of the Bana-Mighdall. I have trained in combat my whole life, and fighting me would not end well for you. Tell me your name and your purpose here. There will be no other warning."

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein looks to her, and will cross his arms, and says "I'm Albert, and was trained by some pretty good fighters myself." He does not name them, but his stance may tell of boxing training. "And you might not want to crack on the hair Miss Lady locks." He smirks a bit at her, and while he is being cautious he does not seem to be afraid of her. "I watch after the places around here, and make sure folks don't walk off with things."

Artemis has posed:
Artemis's upper lip curls at the returned snub, and she lets out a soft snort of her own. And she adds a nod of understanding as well. "Alright, 'Albert who watches after the place', I have a job to do and you have a job to do. I have not found the shipment I am seeking, so I am not walking off with anything. But I will give you my word that if I -do- find the dangerous item I am seeking, I will tell you." Pause. "We can fight at that time, if you wish."

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein looks to her, and looks around getting an idea of what is in here. He thinks about it a moment and pretty sure if they go at it, there will be a lot more damage than letting her look "Well letting you find your object of power before we fight does not seem the smartest thing, but what the hey, am sure ya might need it." He is ready for her to come at him for that one.

Artemis has posed:
Artemis tosses her head and lets out a loud, sharp sound that's something between a bark and a laugh. And that was, indeed, the last warning he was to receive. He may be tall but as far as she knows he is still only mortal. The woman moves with surprising speed, but the punch to his jaw is pulled. After all, a punch with her full strength would crush a human's skull like a melon.

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein expected it and he will roll with the punch not taking the full force of it. He does grab for her shoulders to try and toss her out the door while he falls back. If there is going to be a fight, he is trying to limit the amount of property damage. "Now now, do you want to fight or dance?" He will call out trying to keep her thining just about the fight, hoping to get her off her game a bit. He does not throw a punch towards her at least not yet.

Artemis has posed:
He grips her shoulder and she grabs for a bicep. That's where she will feel his strength and he will feel her own. Artemis doesn't push past this point of the contest yet, either. "I thought you didn't WANT to fight." she replies. "If so, then release me at once. Property damage, and all that. Or have you had a change of heart and you DO wish to wreck this building?"

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein looks to her, and says "You threw the first punch, I would rather not have to fight you, but if you make me not going to back down from you either." He looks her in the eye, and says "Besides, if we wreck the place if your doo hicky is here we are liable to wreck it too.

Artemis has posed:
Artemis looks up as they stand there, locked together for the moment. She slowly relaxes, watching his face and only continuing to relax if he follows suit. "You are not like the others that I have fought in the world of men. When we DO fight I will not hold back." she declares. "I have searching to do, Albert, and you have 'watching' to do. I will tell you before I leave."

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein will relax a moment, and does let her go. He looks to het, and says "Your going to need to make sure you put everything back the way you found it and pay for the door lock as well." He will step back to watch her a moment "Well when we do fight, I am sure will have a few surprises for ya still." He leans against a wall watching her.

Artemis has posed:
Artemis squints back, looking him up and then down. "Good. You will need them." she declares. Then she turns, with a wide sweep of the long ponytail. Deeper into the hangar she goes, turning on a light of her own. "And if you want me to stop breaking locks, then you could help by opening them." And then she moves to continue her search.
