Alexis Carr has posed:
    It was around Christmas. The apartment was set up with a small, artificial tree and decorated slightly, the air was cold and crisp, and Alexis had wanted to go for a walk -- but following being recognized in a teashop and a coffee shop getting smashed up, the young woman had decided to drag Sam out with her.

    For protection. She really did feel quite protected with him at her side, after all.

    She was wearing a gray wool peacoat the hood pulled up to hide some of her dark brown hair, dark eyes alight with the fairylights set up in the park. There's a couple of vendors for coffee, hot cocoa and cider.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie is wearing one of his flannel coats. It is warm but not quite as thick as some. He has his hand in Allegra's as they walk along the path "So, classes been pretty good, seems the Sarge has accepted that they aint going to be able to break me on the obstacle course, so that is a nice change." He grins over at her. He looks over to the vendor, and says "Want some cider or something?"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "That's good... I'm glad you're enjoying showing off a little bit." Allegra gives a small smile, her hand in his as she gives a gentle squeeze. "I still think going into police work is a bad idea, considering... you know." she states quietly, and she purses her lower lip a moment as she looks up to the gray sky.

    "... but I understand that there are some things I may never understand. That's enough for me--" she trails off and pauses at the idea of a cider. "... is it mulled or just regular?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie hmms and starts to lead her over to check it out "Probably hot, with the weather, not fully sure." He admits. As they walk over he stays near her and says "I t means a lot to me that even thought your unsure of it, you support me doing it hon." He leans in to kiss her cheek. He is pulling his wallet out as they get to the place to make their orders.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Mulled cider is hot cider with lemon, orange and spices. It's a terribly European thing, I'm afraid." Alexis gives a soft murmur as Sam kisses her cheek, and she takes a look at the little chalkboard menu. Two ciders are procured in little thick paper cups with cardboard holders. "I support you because I know you'll do your best to be fair."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles and pays for the ciders leaving a tip. He holds his cider in one hand and moves to put an arm around Allegra so she can hold her cider in both hands if she wants. "Ah was thinking what ya think about spending Christmas eve, back home, maybe try to hit England for Boxxing day, thats like a day after Christmas right?

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "The day you box all your decorations and put them away, yes." Alexis gives a wry little smile, and she purses her lips. "I'll miss you when you travel home to Kentucky... who are you looking to visit in England?" she questions, "New girlfriend? Old girlfriend?" she adds with a soft joke.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smirks and days "Well I was thinking we could both go to both places, maybe spend a day or two showing one another some more about where we grow up. Speaking of Ex girl friends though one of my Exes has came back to living at the school.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Oh? The singer, or the explodey one?" ALexis inquires as she sips her piping hot cider. She turns her gaze to Sam a moment, leaning against him just a little as they walk.

    "I... I don't know about going to England. That's always such a busy time."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over and says "The explodey one, Tabby. You will have to meet her sometime." He offers and sips his cider. "Well, if not England, what would you like to show me that I aint seen love?"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Am I so unexciting that you've gotta see something new?" Alexis laments, leaning her head back, carefully holding her hot cup. "Am I so boring? Was it the change in deoderant? I must know!" she states, leaning her head back and then she pauses, giving an embarrassed look.

    "You haven't met my mum or nan yet. I'm sure they'd think any lad I throw myself out the window for would be a catch."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles and says "No you are not unexciting, I want to meet any of your family your willing to introduce me to hon." He grins at her, and says "Besides, I am the unexciting one, remember, small town boy, world traveling musician." He teases her a bit but does continue walks along holding her close.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Former world-traveling musician. As long as m y father holds the copyrights to my music there's almost nothing I can perform. In theory I'm not even able to use my name to advertise. Quite problematic." the girl replies, sipping her cider as she leans against him. "... and you can, and do, go through buildings with nothing amiss afterwards, I will remind."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie chuckles a bit, and nods. He leans in and says "You could be the artist formally known as Allegra Caradenza? " He offers her. He hmms and says "Do, you want to hire a lawyer see if we can get you the copyrights, I know a lawyer, would probably take the job at a discount, and frustrate the hell out of ya dad.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Now I'm curious -- a lawyer that would take the work at discount and frustrate my father to the point of no end? I feel like I should meet this person." she gives a wry smile. "Who might bother him more than you do."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, and says "Jennifer Walters, she is a superhero lawyer. I think she tries to keep things going on the good side of thing and being a public hero, with legal experience and connections to the Avengers, and other good public opinion should urk him more.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    The young woman gives a soft 'nn' in thought, sipping her cider again as she considers.

    "A superhero lawyer. That might connect me to some interesting people, but why would she help me out? Other than that one time with the spaceship, I've not done anything particularly heroic."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "I think she would at worst we go talk to het and she says no. Well she is a hulk so I guess at worse, we go see her, she gets pissed off, and I have to blast us out before she goes all smash on us." He offers her a smile "She is more calm than the other hulk.""

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "/A/ Hulk?" the Brit states, her eyes going large as she breathes out, and rubs the back of her head. "That is... pretty intimidating. She's not known for that, is she?" she questions softly as they come upon a fence. Alexis leans against the fence effortlessly, her arms between the spade tops.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie smiles and sticks beside her, and says "Well she is known as She-hulk, but as I said, she is more of a communicator than the normal Hulk. She seems to be herself no matter what form she is in. And to be honest not sure if she would but can you imagine your dad facing a green lawyer in court?

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "My dad wouldn't go to court. He'd send his lawyers, that's what they're paid for." Alexis replies with a little mirth in her eyes. "If you have the right lawyer, you'll never have to see the inside of a courtroom. Unless summoned, I suppose, but I beleive this would all take place in an office somewhere rather than a courtroom. No trial, no jury, just... lawyers."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie nods, a bit and says "Well want me to see if I can set up a meeting, so we can at least talk to her sometime, see what she says?" He rubs her back a bit and says "If you could do anything you wanted to do with your music what would ya be doing?

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Performing. Working. Writing. Just... exactly what I used to do before I realized that all my work fueled abject hatred into the world?" the musican replies with a shrug after a moment. "It's not like there's some secret to what I want to do, I always wanted to perform and show my skills -- but now that just seems rather shallow, doesn't it?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie shakes his head and says "No, why would that be shallow hon, your amazing at it, and enjoy it. You thought about trying to set up a whole new catalog? I mean your dad, can't hinder you if you make new stuff or play classics and such right?

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "... because there's so many people out there suffering. Who get marginalized because of the money I made." Alexis looks out over the park. She looks down into her cup.

    "What right do I have until all that pain is repaid?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie rubs her back, and says "Maybe start an opposing group that tries to help mutants and does good for them. The opposite of your dad's place. Might be able to get some of the other open mutants helping with it. Allison Blair, Dr. McCoy, and such. Show mutants and humans working together as one group. Heck might even be able to get power girl to help you.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Without outing myself?"

    Alexis takes a shakey breath.

    "I don't know how much longer I can keep it a secret. This fire. It's beginning to burn brighter and hotter. The other day, when that boy from the Daily Bugle was there to interview me, it was... I almost -- thank goodness Spider-Man showed up." she tilts her head back again, closing her eyes.

    "I don't know if I could live as an outted mutant. Especially not one prone to setting things aflame. That must get very difficult to rent instruments to."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over, and says "Well we can start working on your control more, and see how that helps with the whole not setting stuff a flame, and you can be open about it or keep it quiet, I mean I know at least one person who is stupid rich and no one outside of mutandom knows he is a mutant.

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Berto?" she inquires, eyebrows rising up in amusement. "All right, so no one knows he's a mutant outside the group. I could keep mine a secret if I really wanted." she states, and then she leans against Sam. "What about you?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie 's brow raises "What about me? Most don't know I am a mutant, but the guys in the school, family, and some folks back home. We have had some issues with folks, after me, and Paige are both sorta known back home as mutants, but most people back there are good folks."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Well, and my father's bodyguards. With the whole out the window thing." she chides gently, with a smile spreading on her face. She turns back out to the parkland, and she heats her cider a moment in her hands.

    "You're not worried they're going to hurt your family?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "Your dad's guards or the people around town back home? There is a little worry yea, but Ma knows how to take care of herself, and Josh, and the others are there. If something big starts to go down, Ma would call me, and I am probably half the school would be on our way down."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Little bit of both, actually. I won't lie that part of the reason I joined the Hellfire club is for my *own* protection... I don't beleive they like it when someone attempts to manipulate or harm their members, and some of them are quite the interesting people." she admits. It's the first time in a long time she's brought up her membership with the group.

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie looks over, and says "And some of them are very dangerous people too." He reminds her "Just make sure you keep your eyes open and if anything goes bad, you contact me. If you want we could find a place up near the school, maybe build a cabin, or get one of those airstream rv trailer things."

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "Find an appropriate lot, and I'll handle the money for building our own place. Something classy. Doesn't have to be anything particularly fancy." she states quietly, "... but it'll be weird to leave the city."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie says, "We can stay here if you want or keep this place and out there for when we are in the city versus out there. I want to make sure your comfortable hon." He offers"

Alexis Carr has posed:
    "... I have never had to make so many important judgements in my life. City or country? Where to we go from here? Mmmm." she comments quietly, and Alexis turns, giving a wry little smile to Sam.

    "What's your preference?"

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie holds her close, and says "Well we can make them together, and keep making them together. I know what I want." He says looking into her eyes

Alexis Carr has posed:
    The girl gives a small smile, and leans her head against Sam.

    "Well... I think I know what you want." she gives a small grin.

    "And the answer of course... is oreos."

Samuel Guthrie has posed:
Sam Guthrie chuckles a bit and turns kissing the top of her head, and says "I did it all for the cookie." He grins and runs his hand along her back. He then points out where some a snowy owl has stopped in for a late night drink at the fountain. "Knew I thought I heard an owl out here the other night."
