The end of the world
Date of Scene: 12 March 2020
Location: Sevastapol
Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Galina Nemirovsky, Diana Prince

Galina Nemirovsky has posed:
Even with the current political madness ongoing over who exactly owned Sevastapol, at the end of the day it's a sleepy fishing town like a million others the world over. Granted Sevastapol does have a notably older population that most, which means theres plenty of sitting around and talking outside. Even as the radios blare warnings of a coming fight, "The Bogatyr" had been allegedly sighted in the area! A man wanted for terrorist acts pretty much the world over, and imbued with some flavor of supernatural might. A lovely fellow for sure.

Word of the sighting had gone out across the switch boards, and the majority of the Winter Guard was off fighting Nazi Zombies or whatever. It wasn't everyday that the Russians put out an open call for assistance, especially these days. Not that they didn't have anyone on their own side of course, just that she wasn't exactly at a hundred percent.

The Dynamo takes a short hop off the train car it arrived on, rolling it's massive shoulders as it's generators come up to full power. Eighty five hundred pounds of exotic Russian metalurgy, ERA, RPG chains, Rocket pods and a rotary cannon bolted right onto one shoulder. That distinctive cherry red paint still pot marked and covered in scorch marks from the previous day's sortie. The hero of the people has arrived it seems. Making it's way up a winding road to settle in at a lovely little overlook, one where it's got plenty of sightlines on the cabin the Bogatyr is supposedly holed up in.

<<Crimson Dynamo, on line and in position.>>Comes that mechanical growl over the radio, a voice no doubt carefully tailored to be as intimidating as possible.

Diana Prince has posed:
It's a long way from her normal stomping grounds these days, but Diana happened to be near to the region. The Invisible Jet is in the air and was previously on it's way back toward the United States, but the comm calls came to the Jet's scanners and the Princess inside the craft responds to them.

Within moments the Bogatyr announcement, the Jet is nearby and it sees the Dynamo's form. The message over the comms is heard and responded to by Diana. <<"This is Wonder Woman of the Justice League and the Avengers.">> Her accented voice speaks on to that same channel. <<"I am here to offer what aid is needed in this moment.">>

Though unseen the Jet's alien-tech powered engines can be heard in the sky above, a high pitched whistling rumble sound.

Galina Nemirovsky has posed:
<<Probable sighting of meta-human terrorist known as Bogatyr, I could use a hand if you've got it to spare. Afraid I'm not very fast, if he tries to run I'm going to have a tough time catching up to him. Considering the fighting going on in Ukraine, I'd suggest a seaward approach vector.>>

Slowly the Dynamo takes a knee, armor plates pivoting out of the way to allow it's pilot to climb out from the red lit cockpit. Like a Matryoshka doll, it's of course another armored suit. Granted this one dramatically more simplistic and form fitting, that cherry red paint covered in sharpie'd vulgarities and curses. <<Set my IFF to mode three, should be pretty easy to direction find in on my position.>>

Casually she grabs an AK rom within that big outer suit, before letting it close back up. Content to perch atop the suit's shoulder and peer skyward. <<Big fan of yours incidentally, dig the outfit no jokes."

Diana Prince has posed:
"Thank you." Diana says. Though her voice is decidedly not on comms any longer. In fact it is directly beside/behind the Dynamo as she makes her way out of her machine and on to the ground. Apparently Wonder Woman had already arrived. The sound of the Jet's engines are still audible in the sky but they're much quieter and fading into obscurity.

Diana's eyes are on the thing that Galina had just crawled out of, looking it over with a curious stare. At her side are her gloved hands, her weapons on her back and her armored form fully visible with light glinting off of the metals of her armor and her dark hair gently blowing over her otherwise bare shoulders in the soft breezes.

"I am afraid I am not familiar with the Bogatyr." Diana says. "I would love a little information." She pauses then. "And your machine here looks quite impressive as well."

Galina Nemirovsky has posed:
"Has a sewing needle in his right arm, made by a witch a few hundred years ago. Gives him supernatural strength, speed, durability. Originally owned by Ilya Muromets or so the legend goes, but this guy's just evil. Usually ends up as hired muscle, never seen him out in the wild on his own."That asymetric visor swings up finally, and yeah hey first Female Dynamo confirmed. "I've fought him once before, in the older suit. Pretty strong, not very brave."She summarizes simply enough.

"Oh and thank you, the big suit's very powerful but it's not terribly subtle nor is it quick. I don't want to level the whole city here, so I'm going to sit it on the bench for this one. Suppose I'll scout ahead and confirm, let you do the swordplay and assist where able?"Swinging that faceplate back down with an audible -clack-."Oh and be sure to cut off his -right- arm, thats where the needle is. Arm comes off, he's nothing yeah?"

Diana Prince has posed:
While the Crimson Dynamo is speaking, Diana is walking a slow perimeter around the mechanized machine that the other had crawled out of, but she ends up back around on the side that Galina is on and when the rundown of the Bogatyr is given, Diana's eyes return to her when the mention of 'swordplay' is had. Diana reaches up behind her shoulder and with a quietly smooth swiping sound of polished metal upon leather, the Princess of Themyscira brandishes her sword of Athena.

"Right arm first." Diana says then to the other, letting the pointed tip of her blade lower down toward the ground to her right. "Left second, if needs be." She turns then toward the rail cars and buildings near by. "I will try to draw it to me, but if needs be, try to herd it in my direction and I will make sure it sees me as the tastier of the two targets." She wants to protect Galina, even if she doesn't know her, because she aassumes that Galina is good and deserving of it.

With that said though the Princess lunges up on to the train and starts to run in the direction her heightened senses tell her their target likely is.

Galina Nemirovsky has posed:
"Not one step back Princess."The Dynamo lights her thrusters off, and is all but catapulted foreward across the open ground. She twists mid air, before lighting that thruster up just oncemore as she hits the dirt in a slide. Not so much as a step lost as she just goes right through the front door, before slowing to a gradual stop. Then comes the silence, for just a moment longer is strictly comfortable.

After a short spell the Dynamo just steps outside, Ak held low and loose. "That -was- the Bogatyr I think, but looks like somebody beat us here."She motions back towards the cabin with her AK "and hey you will not be missing anything if you do not go inside, it's very bad. They decomposed him, or something? I mean people saw him like two hours ago."

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana comes to a stop along with Galina and with the armored and armed woman beside her, she follows her stare to this cabin. "Decomposed?" Diana asks, likely able to smell it enough to know that the words are true. She puts her stare upon said cabin before she looks to Galina. "How could someone decompose in two hours?" A trick, a mutant's powers? The Princess shows a faint and brief frown before she shakes her head and walks toward the cabin to try to peer inside as foul sights and sounds do not effect her in any real way, she needs the information of sight to help her.

But, she comes to return to Galina then. "Are these situations you deal with often here?" She asks the one with the automatic weapon, her own armored form with a gleaming sword and a golden lasso coiled at her hip quite the visual contrast in style from that of the Crimson Dynamo's own appearance!

Galina Nemirovsky has posed:
Inside theres little sign of a struggle, but of interest is the scale mail and ancient armored helm. A circular shield and bearded hand axe, the sort've thing you'd have expected from the Kievan Rus back in the day no doubt. The Bogatyr himself though, well theres just a pile of him really. Skeleton amongst the fetid remains of what was once flesh. With a little bit of study, well yeah the entire right arm is just -gone-. It's bad alright.

"Oh it's quite a new one for me, and I mean I fight zombie Nazis pretty much every spring."That face plate is swung open to offer a wince and a shrug. "Sevastapol, only once before."Half turning to peer off towards the village before ducking her head to light up a cigarette. "Theres a great little seafood resturaunt right over there, actually if memory serves."And well the Dynamo takes a couple steps off in that direction, before turning back to see if Diana's going to follow.
"Ukraine, oh sure but up north. I mean I was here for the invasion, I'm still V-D-V at the end of the day. Bout an hour north maybe, thats where I beat the shit out of the Titanium Man again. Dragged his broken ass back to Russia for them to pitch him in the darkest hole they could find. Pity about the Invasion and all though, beautiful Country the Ukraine. My mother's from around here I think?"

Diana Prince has posed:
The sight inside of the cabin had been gruesome, to say the very least. But the Princess returns to the Dynamo and she raises her sword up and slides it back into it's sheath behind her. She looks in the various directions that Galina points while telling her story and eventually just ends up with her brown eyed stare upon that of the Dynamo herself.

"You certainly sound as though you are keeping busy in this part of the world." Diana tells her. "But it sounds as though they very much benefit from having you around." She adds before she glances back to the cabin. "There are items in there, armor and... left overs. It should be dealt with before an innocent comes along and... finds it all."

She glances back then to Galina. "Zombies you say? Every Spring? What is the root of their consistency? Seems a bit... odd."

Galina Nemirovsky has posed:
"Theres a directorate who handles that stuff, the last time I tried to secure ancient evil artifacts I thought they were going to stroke out they were screaming so much."Theres a little shrug, and off she goes at a leisurely pace. "Oh yeah well thats the job you know? Russia's mutant policy is pretty obnoxious, so all those folks just bail. You can't just get a costume and go fight crime either, they'll shoot you for that. So it's just the Winter Guard and the Rocket Reds really. The Rockets are alright guys, but they've got a huge program and no money so we see them sortie like once or twice every few months maybe?"

"Oh yeah every year since Stalingrad, it used to be just a few. These days it's little groups of fifty or a hundred though, getting worse every year. Has something to do with black magic used during the siege, I mean the Kremlin says it's Nazi black Magic but I get the feeling it was probably something we did you know?"And a pause to ash that smoke before pulling back a branch and hey theres a cute little town!

Diana Prince has posed:
Diana is at The Dynamo's side as she walks and listens to the explanation. The armored women are quite the sight as they stroll the railyard and head toward a small village. Diana looks at the surroundings and then over to Galina. "I see." She says to her. "You are right, the entire world could do better with how they handle mutants. Though... some could do more than others." There's a faint smirk then before she watches the woman do the ash thing, then expose the town via pulling the foliage away. She stares out at it and after a moment she exhales and puts her eyes back upon Galina.

"You have your work cut out for you then. So it seems." She tells her. "Perhaps I should give you my contact communicator. If you would like a way to reach me to ask for assistance any time? It might be a bit of a journey to get here some times, but my jet is very fast." She shows a hint of a grin then and there.

Galina Nemirovsky has posed:
"Well everyone wants a social strata to help order the world, if it wasn't the Mutants it'd be somebody else. Any excuse to maintain a monopoly of force against the prolitariat, same game they've been playing since forever."The Dynamo knocks on an apparently closed storefront, which is enough to get an old woman to peek her head out. Some words in Russian are exchanged, and the door swings open as the lights are flipped on. "Unfortunately it seems the common breed of man is willing to sacrifice their neighbors so as to escape anything approaching responsibility."

A chair is hooked with a boot, as the Dynamo fwumps down. Casually setting that Kalashnikov aside as she receives a bottle of vodka and proceeds to pour a few fingers in the glasses provided. "I'd be happy to trade frequencies with you, your majesty. Just be careful yeah? Calls to me get routed through the "Heroes Directorate", and they send whomever they fancy. Winter Guardians are all pretty good people, but there are plenty of folks on the list I'd describe as "Convient terrorists" if you follow me yeah?"
