Cast of Characters: Albert Rothstein, April O'Neil

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein lives out of the back of his garage, and while he works on planes, jets, helicopters and such, he has set aside a section of the garage to work on cars as well. Planes pay nice,y but cars need maintenance and repairs a lot more often. So that is what pays the bills month to month, with the bigger jobs handled when they come along. Tonight the bit man has his own 70 Mercury Cougar in the open plane area of the hanger. Metal music playing as he works along it, a light and bell both set up to let him know if someone comes up to the shop.

April O'Neil has posed:
A tow truck arrives outside, with its yellow lights flashing. Behind it it is hauling a white and blue Channel Six 'New York' News van. April gets out of the passenger side of the two truck when it arrives, and moves around to watch the driver detach the van. They spend a few minutes together talking as he works and when he finishes up she offers him a handshake and a wad of cash.

In her yellow leather jacket, blue jeans, a black scarf around her neck, April O'Neil now turns toward the mechanic shop and starts to walk toward it, looking to find the way in to the office or find someone who can help her. "Hello?" She calls out, her arms crossed over her stomach as she moves.

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein heard the ding as the truck came up, and will calls out "Alexa music 15%" and the music drops down to a back ground level. He will start to head towards the main car area, and comes through a doorway wiping grease from his hands. One thing about converting a hanger to work place, home, and more, you can make sure you do not have to duck through doors, even if your over seven foot tall, and your hair makes you closer to eight. He right now though has the hair pulled back into a pony tail, while all but the center are is shaved. HE is wearing jeans and a gear head t-shirt, but does have a ball cap sticking out of his back pocket,

April O'Neil has posed:
April just remains at the mouth of the entrance to the place with her arms crossed over her stomach. She does, however, instantly observe the nearly eight foot tall man that appears in response to her calling out. This makes her dark eyebrows raise and her eyelashes flutter a moment... he's over two feet taller than her! "Wow." She mutters.

"Uh, hi." She notes then as she starts to walk toward him to offer him her right hand. "I'm April O'Neil, a news reporter out of Manhattan. I'm uh... having car trouble-- Well... Van trouble. The tow-truck guy brought me here, he said you could probably fix it?" She asks, showing a friendly smile to the big guy.

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein offers his hand and shakes, giving a firm handshake, but not a crushing one, having learned to give a proper handshake to man or woman from his grandfather. He will nod a bit and says "Well Miss O'neil, I am Albert Rothstein, you can call me Al, and this is my place." He will look out of the doorway and says "Van got gear on top so need to bring it in through the hanger doors, or will it fit in the normal bay?"

April O'Neil has posed:
April's hands come back to her sides and slip in to the pockets of her yellow leather jacket. "I have no idea!" She says with a soft laugh and a glance back over her shoulder. "I think the two guy is still out there, do you need me to ask him to bring it in somewhere?" She asks then. "And yeah, it's a pleasure to meet you, Al. I'll... uh. I'll call the News Station though, once you get this figured out, to make sure they pay you what you need to fix this piece of junk thing up again." She says that part with a soft smile.

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein smiles and says "Well lets step outside, and have a look, I can push it in if it needs it no big deal on that, just don't want to scrap any expensive stuff off getting it inside." He will smiles and says "Know the make and model of it?" He will ask her, as he steps outside expecting her to come with him it seems.

April O'Neil has posed:
April ends up strolling back outside with her hands comin gout of her pockets and her eyes going to the tow truck which is indeed driving off anyway. "Uh... no." She says about the make and model of the news van. "I've no idea, admittedly. VF Corporation? I'm not sure though. There's papers in the glove box. I have to move them around all the time when I'm looking for a pen." She states with a smirk. "All I know is that the damn thing keeps sputtering out, and now I couldn't even get it to start. Which is... not great, considering I have to drive it all the way back to Manhattan tonight."

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein nods his head a bit and says "Climb on in, put it in neutral, and I will push ya around to the hanger, just make sure I don't hurt the stuff on top." He offers and moves to push the van. Which if she puts it in gear, she will find he seems to be pushing it with ease, telling her to hit the break when they have it in position. He hmms a bis and once it is stopped walks around asking her to try to turn it over so he can hear it.

April O'Neil has posed:
April does as asked, stepping over to the van and popping the driver side door open. "Right, okay." She gets the keys out of her jacket pocket out of reflex, but then just goes on to putting the car in to neutral as requested. "Ready to go!" She shouts out for him to hear. When they start to roll, she'll angle the vehicle around tothe large hangar's mouth and guide the van through it. "You're pretty damn strong, you know that!?" She calls back to him, as her eyes now look around the inside of this airplane hangar. "Wow." She says once more in her short time here thus far.

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein grins a bit and says "Well, I had a choice, I could either go for the buff guy or play basketball with my size, so I did both." He jokes a bit to her. He will move to pop the hood of the van "So, what brings you out this way, doing an interview with that Nightwing fellow?"

April O'Neil has posed:
Once the van is in a seemingly appropriate spot, April puts it back in to park so it's safety stowed where it is now. She's then exiting the vehicle again after checking her phone and shooting a text off to her camera guy who was off getting other parts of their work done. "Nightwing?" She asks back as she steps out, then shakes her head. "Oh, no, no I'm here about someone going by the name of Rat King. He... he's been hurting people, and I've been following leads on him, reporting on his terrorizing ways."

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein hmms and nods his head a bit to this and says "So, can I get a preview of what you have learned about him?" He will ask, He hmms a bit and says "Do they have anyone who does maintenance on these things at the studio?

April O'Neil has posed:
April just takes a step off to the side and turns toward the Van. She glances at her phone as it buzzes in her hand, then looks back up to the giant auto-mechanic. "Oh, well. He attacked some of my friends over in Brooklyn, then fled to Gotham and has been terrorizing some of the locals here too. He seems to have some kind of mind control over the rodent population, and being that these are giant cities... well, there's no shortage of rats around here, ya know?" She smirks at him then shakes her head. "I dunno. I think they got a guy who comes in and does random repair work, but I don't think these vans have had a real tune-up in probably... well, since I was in grade school."

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein nods, and says "Ok, well looking at it, I think I can get ya back on the road in about an hour or two max, but she will keep giving you trouble unless ya get someone in here and do a good through overhaul.

April O'Neil has posed:
April is quick to nod her head a few times. "An hour? That's amazing. Really, an hour is way better than I thought it'd be." She laughs lightly before reaching for her bag on her hip, a black messenger bag slung over a shoulder. "I'll tell my boss, but she's kind of a penny pincher. But hey, when your damn vans can't even get your employees from Point A to Point B, it's time to splurge on some new rides, I say, right?"

Albert Rothstein has posed:
Albert Rothstein nods, and says "Would make sense, I mean you guys are making your thing by being there and the sooner the better. With the net it is harder than ever, so would help more if you could get there quickly. He gets his tools, starting to take off the starter and the alternator
