Special Delivery
Date of Scene: 23 January 2021
Location: Cain Marko's Townhouse
Synopsis: Tabitha deliverys a package to Cain.
Cast of Characters: Cain Marko, Tabitha Smith

Cain Marko has posed:
It's early evening. The sun is down, but hasn't been for long. It's an area of nice brownstones, quiet for the most part. Cain Marko is currently at home, waiting for something that was suppossed to be delivered today. It's boring, but that's how things work. The enormous mystical mercenary is sprawled out an oversized couch in the living room. Like much of the things he owns, it's custom made. Many things just can't handle his weight. Flipping through channels, only stopping on each a few seconds before moving to the next. He glances at the time. When are they going to get here?

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith has only one delivery remaining on her route as Kord Enterprises delivery girl #1. She parks in the driveway of the brownstone and puts on her really blue KORD hat, carrying the box up the steps to the brownstone of the mysterious Cain Marko. The box is pretty well packed and she uses two hands to haul it to the door. She gives a few knock knocks on the wooden door, then rings the doorbell, DING DONG!

Cain Marko has posed:
When the bell goes off Cain grunts quietly, then stands up. Stretching is a reflex even after all these years, despite the fact he doesn't really get stiff or anything. His footsteps are audible approaching the door. Quieter than you'd expect considering everything about him, but still pretty loud. Then said door opens, and he leans down to peer out. Clearly, he has to duck to exit. He probably made a point of getting a place with extra high ceilings. Seeing the blonde girl in the blue hat his brows twitch. "Young for this, aren't you?" His voice is a deep bass rumble.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith looks surprised at the big guy and looks up at him, "Uhh hi Mister..." she begins and suddenly forgets his name. She looks down at the label on the box and says, "Ah...Mister...Mar---kow. Oh I see, yes Mister Mar...cow!" she grins, "Nice to meet you sir. I'm Tabitha and I have your delivery from Kord Enterprises. Your..." she glances down again, "Your...Over...uhh your oversized smartphone. Oh cool!"

"I just need your signature and I can totally help you set up your device. I see that it has SUPER smart capability. Boy, that's cool," she says and looks up again. She smiles. She hands over the box.

Cain Marko has posed:
His brow raising at the 'Mar cow' bit, Cain replies, "Hello. You have my package, I take it?" He reaches out to take the box from her. It... looks like the package for a normal sized smartphone in his hand. "I'm surprised they tell their delivery people what they're delivering." He begins to open the box right there, occasionally glancing at her while he does so. "So, Tabitha. Fun job, delivering stuff for Kord?" Some of the people he's fought in the past might find this scene of him acting so casual kind of surreal. But hey. It's not like he can be rampagingly angry all day every day. He had enough of that in the decades he spent digging himself out from a mountain.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith gives a nod, "Fun? Yeah it's okay. I do it after school," she tells him. She has a piece of paper she raises from her side and looks over, "Yep, I have all your stuff here. Oh yes, the extended plan, you totally need to sign that too," she indicates, poking at the receipt.

"I just read the invoice. Sorry if it's private. Most of em I can't read em because nobody needs to sign. I just drop it on the porch and take off, you know."

Cain Marko has posed:
Pulling out the smartphone, Cain peels off the plastic protecting it and boots it up. Then he looks at the receipt in question. "Yeah, alright." He takes an oversized pen out and clicks it out. With the size, the point looks ridiculously narrow, like it's meant to stab somebody instead of write. But, it's probably still a little bigger than most pen nibs. He writes out his name. Not great handwriting, not bad. Pretty average. Fairly neat given how relatively tiny the receipt is to him. "Guess it doesn't matter. Just watch out. Not everybody is as nice as me." He glances up at the sky. "Pretty late. Had a long shift?"

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith grins as he writes out his name, "And here," she point point points, "You're my last delivery, then I can totally pass out," she explains. She raises her chin and peeks at the oversized cellphone.

She raises her pointy finger and tells him, "Okay, so follow the prompts Mister Marcow," Tabitha explains, "It's super easy, just put in your log in information. And if you want SUPER smart setup, just click the icon."

Cain Marko has posed:
One of the mans brows raise at her. "Super smart setup? What, is that suppossed to be for people who aren't smart enough on their own? Or people who are smarter than average?" He reaches out with his free hand, and casually flicks her on the nose. "And enoguh with the cow stuff, brat." He seems good natured enough about it.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith flails as Cain flicks at her and looks like she might topple over, but doesn't. She then smirks at him, "Cow stuff?" she wonders, "OH your name. Am I saying it wrong? Gawd, sorry," she whines. She looks at the invoice again, "Oh sorry Mister...Markav. Markov. Markav. Markov. Sorry," she says.

She leans forward aging with her pointy finger at the cellphone, "No no, it's SUPER smart, Mister ..." she begins and mumbles his last name, "It has a huge-ass memory capability. It can remember up to the last ten things you've clicked and remind you what they were. Super cool," she tells him.

Cain Marko has posed:
He sighs a little and says, "Just call me Cain, Tabitha." He clicks the SMART icon. "Interesting, it's good to know." He reads through the prompts, hitting it where appropriate. "Hmm. Looks good. Try not to fall asleep on your way home, kid." He gives a slight smile down at the mutant girl. Not that HE knows she's a mutant, of course.

Tabitha Smith has posed:
Tabitha Smith hmms as she tries tilting her head multiple times to peek at what he's doing on the phone, "Uhh okay, you got it? You sure?" she wonders. She pointy points, "Don't forget to click accept."

She then settles her heels back down and says, "Cain? Oh okay, let's see..." she says and goes through her paperwork again, "Ahh...were you happy as punch with your purchase....sir...? Uhhh....ahhh.... how would you rate this wonderful, spectacular experience?" she wonders, reading off the form. She looks up at him and smiles, trying not to chuckle too much.

Cain Marko has posed:
Cain smirks a little as she begins the survey. "Sure. I'm happy with my purchase. And... I'd rate it as alright." He continues to answer her questions until she's done, then slips the phone into a pocket. It looks normal sized in his custom jeans. Finally he says, "Alright, that's enough. Head on home, Tabitha." He lightly flicks her nose again. "And careful how to talk to your elders."
