Cast of Characters: Clint Barton, Wanda Maximoff

Clint Barton has posed:
It was a new dawn, a new day.

Clint had woken up early, as he had sometimes managed to do despite adoring his time to sleep in. He had walked down the stairs wearing black sweatpants and a black t-shirt with a purple arrow on it, his usual sign as a hero. He didn't have his bow on him, though he did have a few more bumps on him than usual, with band-aids Covering up small cuts and bruises from his mission to help Agent May.

He doesn't seem to be bothered at the moment with them though, instead he seems to happily be cooking up some eggs and bacon. More than likely a breakfast for him just as much as it is for Wanda.

But he seems pleased with himself, like he had a good night's rest finally.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
There are some things that manage to find their way upstairs, and one of those things is the smell of delicious bacon. The crackle and sizzle of the breakfast slice of heaven is the icing on that very tasty cake. So, following the scent down (once she's figured out that Clint was nowhere to be found upstairs), Wanda lightly treads upon the steps in descent.

Through the hall, the very casually dressed witch passes until she reaches the doorway of the large kitchen. Crossing her arms and leaning against the doorway, she watches the blond archer cook breakfast with a ghost of a smile on her face. Finally, before he gets a chance to steal a piece of bacon for himself, she speaks up,

"Did you make enough?"

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint seems to be humming a simple tune, a tune that Wanda would recognize as one of Clint's favorites: an all-time Classic, 'Fly me to the moon' by Frank Sinatra. He was always a lover of the classical musics, not too much of a fan of the new styles that seem to have been coming up. Just as soon as he manages to get bacon going, he hears a voice in the corner of the room.

He doesn't seem surprised. But then again, it was Clint's job to be able to find people who needed finding, and years as a spy does wonders for the senses. He does finally turn though, seeing Wanda as he offers her some Bacon in his hand. "Morning gorgeous. Made enough for two, if that's what you mean." at least he's thoughtful.

Most of the time.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
Her smile grows brighter as Clint turns around, and giving a little 'bounce' from off the doorjamb, Wanda straightens, drops her arms and strolls fully into the kitchen, approaching Clint and the bacon. "Good morning," is given in her softly accented lilting tones. She stops once she comes alongside of the archer and plucks the proffered slice from his hand. "That is exactly what I mean," she teases.

Glancing back at the eggs in the pan, brows rise and in the next second, the frying pan with eggs moves from a lit burner to an unlit one without anyone touching it. "Eggs were going to burn," is given in explanation. Wanda examines the bacon soon after, however, and obviously doesn't find it lacking.

Standing upon her toes to get a little bit of height, she leans in to kiss the tip of Clint's nose in playful affection. "Bacon is good, though."

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint smirks as Wanda takes the bacon from him, his hand lifting to stroke a strand of her hair as she walks past in order to use her powers to free the frying pan before Clint managed to burn the eggs. "What? I thought you liked them sunny side up." He says with a light smirk, a knowing one at that.

But any and all questions seem to disappear from Clint's mind as Wanda stands on her toes to give his nose a little kiss. "Better be. I slaved over that." He wraps his arms around her waist if she allows, intending to wish her a proper good morning with a loving kiss.

"Missed you, Wanda. Forgot to ask if you wanted any sausage or breakfast burritos or anything like that." he chuckles.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
"Not sunny side up and burned on re-entry," is murmured with no little amusement. See? Wanda knows a little bit of science! Not much, but just enough!

Wanda lowers herself back down to flatfeet, her free, unbaconed hand settling at his hip, her face canted up to look into those blue eyes of his. She does allow for the 'good morning' kiss, though not without a furtive glance around to see if anyone is watching. It's not a secret, per se, but they are a team, and there is always bound to be some teasing.

"Bacon is fine," Wanda acknowledges without moving from her spot. "Tea, as well." As for missing her? Her head cants, bringing red hair more to the one side as she considers before, "As long as you come home."

Now, however, she's able to fuss a little over the little insults done him in the form of the bruises, scrapes.. and 'tsks' at him. "You are supposed to give bad guys the cuts.. not you."

Clint Barton has posed:
Clint does not, nor has ever, cared about the team's teasing towards their relationship. Its no secret they fancy each other greatly, but its true that it would be wise to perhaps watch their step in the event that the teasing swiftly becomes unwelcome.

However, the kiss makes Clint smile as he releases her. "Hey, my eggs are to die for. But, seems we're stuck iwth Bacon and Tea." He lets Wanda brew her own. He's never been able to get it just right. "You know I'll always come home." But before he can sit down, Wanda is now fussing over his scratches and bruises. "I got my licks in, don't sweat." he smirks.

Wanda Maximoff has posed:
"Mmmhmm.." and Wanda takes stock of those bumps and bruises, the scrapes and cuts, and once she determines there's nothing serious, she looks back up at him and looks relieved. "Good," is declared before she lifts to her toes again to press a quick kiss, if allowed. Once done, she takes the step back to make her tea.

"Eggs were saved," is declared. "Not burned." Just in case. "Now," and she turns back, walking backwards those few paces to get to the counter to start the coffee and put the kettle on for tea, "Sit and I will take care of all." There... and the rest of breakfast is take care of. Eggs, bacon, coffee, tea.. and some easy conversation regarding the coming day.
