Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
It is a lovely day for a tour and that is exactly what Nadia has brought Riri to the campus of Pym Technologies for. She also made sure to send Shuri a message since the new recruit was her idea to begin with, hoping she can free herself from diplomatic responsibilities.

The Pym Technologies Campus in New Jersey is a sprawling tech center, a leading global technology company in a variety of fields. Among its various shiny mirrored buildings and well manicured lawns and pathways, set a bit apart from the rest, sits the headquarters of G.I.R.L. a non-profit collaborative lab initiative bringing together some of the brightest young female minds in the world. It is kind of hard to miss due to the giant G.I.R.L. logo on the side of the building.

"Originally, we started using the old AI labs in the PymTech buildings proper, but then we got a big grant from SHIELD and were able to build this shiny new headquarters." Nadia tells Riri as she leads her towards the building going through the various biometric security measures to grant them entrance.

Riri Williams has posed:
Riri gets a badge with her picture on it, some scans that make her teeth feel wobbly for just a little while, and a stern look from a security guard that, more than likely, REALLY needs some sleep before trying to be the savior of anyone dumb enough to break in to Pym Technologies. Dressed in a simple jeans and jacket combo with a colorful shirt beneath, Riri follows behind, eyes wide, scanning everything that can be seen and trying - mostly trying, at least - to keep her questions to an absolute minimum. Like three per minute. Plus a couple.

"So the technology you create, does SHIELD have a lock on it, or are you allowed to pursue other avenues of use? If we work on Ironheart 2.0, will they automatically get the plans so they can make some themselves? How about lunch spots? Where can you get a good sandwich around here? Oh, and supplies - I assume things like Vibranium and Adamantium are available but extremely limited..." Breathe, Riri, Breathe.

Shuri has posed:
"Extremely limited." Shuri states as she idly steps out from, where did she step out from? It's almost like she just landed by them. There's a hint of something flittering through the air toward Shuri's back. Shiny little sparkles of some kind but it is rather unclear and with her patented Sneakers, she really can land with silence unlike any other. She smirks as she walks up to Nadia and Riri, giving Riri a grinning look.

"Glad you could make it. As for Vibranium, well, we do not even let it just float around here. It's a target and far too much of one to just be kept here." She shakes her head, "There are those who could simply walk in to a place like this, take what they wish and leave." And Shuri is fairly certain she knows at least five or six of those people.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia makes an 'as if' face when Riri asks about SHIELD, "They wish. No, they gave us a grant and in exchange we consult on some of their more difficult science related cases but they have no claim on anything we do here. Nobody does. G.I.R.L.'s work is our own." She smiles at her as she leads her through the halls to the elevators. There is a guide to the different floors with different types of labs from genetics to particle physics to metallurgy, though she hits the button for a floor marked 'Common Space'.

"Hi Shuri!" The princess of Wakanda gets a hug when she joins them because that's just how Nadia is. "Your tech is yours." She agrees with Shuri, "And how much you want to share is up to each member." Answering both the SHIELD question and the Vibranium question at the same time. "If you want more Vibranium, I recommend getting Shuri some really nice chocolate or something." It's a joke of course. "Adamantium, I'm not sure where we would acquire that from, buy maybe?"

She nods when Shuri talks about how much Vibranium is targeted, "Luckily if anyone were dumb enough to attack this building they'd have SHIELD, the Avengers, and the Titans after them. I'd be pretty upset about it, too. But that's no reason not to be careful."

Riri Williams has posed:
"I've still got the vibranium you gave me." Riri tells Shuri as they ride down the elevator, leaning against the back wall, watching the numbers change as they move through the building. "Tricky stuff to work with, that. It's why I emailed you and, I guess, why Nadia, here, came out to my little base to check me out." Nadia gets a wink from Riri before she turns back to the Princess. "It's tricky stuff to work with and, even with the stuff Mr. Stark had in the lab he set up for me, I'm having to work in matrixes of atoms to try and get it to work properly with what I'm trying to make." riri sighs, running her fingers through her hair. "Took me six months to crack before I realized I could use a new set of eyes."

Shuri has posed:
A smile at Nadia and she hugs the girl back before looking to Riri with a smirk. She could comment on where to get Adamantium but that's for another time. For now, she focuses on Riri and then shakes her head, "And this is why I told you I'd be able to help you any time you wanted. You get too focused, Riri." She smiles, "You can't be so single minded about things. You have friends now." She then shrugs and looks over at Nadia before looking to Riri again, "I could just tell you exactly what to do but my brother might lose his mind. Instead, I can help guide you on a path of least resistance."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"What? No! Really? T'Challa is super nice!" Nadia generally thinks everyone is super nice and likely does not quite understand much of that is connected to her own infectious enthusiasm and warm nature. "Anyway, we're here to work together and help each other, so don't hesitate to ask anyone's advice or opinions or what they think could help your project. We're all smart, that's kind of the point, but together we can be even more!"

The elevator doors ding open on to a floor that has been almost completely devouted to lounge space. Comfy corners, meeting tables, a fully stocked kitchen and dining area, televisions, video games, seemingly almost anything the GIRLs could want for chilling out time. Also plenty of coffee. "Welcome to our break and social space!"

Riri Williams has posed:
Riri takes a moment for the other two to step out before following behind, turning on the ball of her foot as she takes in the lounge area that's twice as big as anything she's ever seen. "Wow..." is all she can say and it's almost certainly an understatement. One can almost see the wheels turning in her head as she figures out sizes, amounts of power, and what can be done in this space with minimal investment and construction. It's just what she does!

"I know, I know..." Riri says to Shuri. "but I wanted to see if I could figure it out myself. Getting it to play nice with the materials i'm trying to interlace it with on a molecular level is tough, but I've researched a little and know your people weave vibranium into their clothes. I'm doing the same thing except..." She lifts a hand, finger and forefinger really close together, squinting with one eye. "Super small." She nods. "I'd rather you give me ideas and act as a guide instead of the teacher's answer key. I learn better that way."

Shuri has posed:
"Well, I weave it into clothes." She states simply enough, "Others sorta just follow a blueprint." Shuri nods her head, "I do believe we discussed ways to get things going but I am glad you have ideas." She then smiles at Nadia and nods to her, "I do look forward to working with you both but..." She points idly at her beads as if that were a way to tell time. For those who knew her, those beads were a way to tell time, and about a billion other things. Either way she turns on a heel and smirks, "A Princess's job is never done." She then starts toward the nearest window, "You two be well, I will be back later to help guide a young mind."

A smirk and she winks at Riri before she idly opens the window and just...steps out. A moment later, a winged Shuri is taking off into the sky without another thought.

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia watches Shuri jump out of the window and fly away, "She does that, ...a lot." She seems more amused by it than anything else as she walks over towards the kitchen area. "Then again, I can be prone to disappearing and flying away myself." Glass houses and throwing stones as it were. "Coffee?" She asks pouring herself a mug full.

Riri Williams has posed:
What Riri's doing is finer than weaving, working with chains of atoms instead of strands. Yes, it takes a lot longer but the substance she created was....amazing. "Oh, yes, please. Make it this color with cream and sugar." She points to her palm. "And we'll be perfect."

Riri heads over to the coffee machine and waits for hers to be poured. "Thanks for inviting meto this. I was wondering...did you want me to keep my lab together, or were you wanting me to move all the way here?"

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia smiles brightly at Riri, "Whatever you want to do. I mean I certainly want you to have a workspace here and we can get that set up. We all have our own lab spaces though. I mean I bet Shuri has multiple scattered around the world. I maintain a lab at the edge of of the Quantum Realm that exists between this universe and the microverse. Working with atoms is nothing new for Nadia, she vacations among them.

"That space Tony set you up with is pretty amazing though. Actually it might be perfect, at a recent meeting about the Mori case I was saying we should build a spaceship. Since we might need to visit a distant largely unexplored solar system. Apparently none of the Kree, they're aliens, anyway none of the probes they sent there ever came back. But that's where the images Mori keeps seeing are from based on the star constellations that turned out to be real. So an old missile silo would be a really convenient spot to work on that!"

Riri Williams has posed:
"Oh, I haven't shown you. We never got to this part. " Riri reaches into her pocket for her phone, scrolling through a few pictures until she gets to one that looks like a cavern, almost. "The silo." She grins and hits play and, on the phone, the sound of bulbs clicking on can be heard, revealing a space that's ten stories tall and probably 100 feet to a side. Massive. And in the middle of it all? a TV, Ironheart 1.0, and a chair that she was told came from the Thing of the Fantastic Four. Big and leather and comfortable. "I bet we could fit something useful in there, don't you?"

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia Pym-van Dyne ooooohs, "Wow! That is way bigger than it looked in the dark. Though I guess it would need to be that big in order to house an inter-continental ballistic missile. Still, that is definitely perfect for building a spaceship in. We may need to figure out a convenient way to get between here and there quietly, but I'm sure we can come up with something. Maybe build something like a stealth Quinjet."

Riri Williams has posed:
"If that pastiche of materials can be built faster, I think it might solve your problems. Here..." Riri reaches into her back pocket and pulls out something that looks kind of like a credit card. "Two months of work, right here." She holds it up to the light, then offers it to Nadia. "Here. It's less than two millimeters thick, won't melt until you start hitting fusion temperatures, eight times lighter and ten times stronger than steel, but it's not pure vibranium, so the cost is...smaller."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia takes the small piece of material examining it, "You know, it might be easier to do this by hand." She offers in what would be a completely ludicrous idea to anyone who didn't know her. "Scale down and work on it directly." It's a solution that probably only a Pym would ever put forward. "This is brilliant work though, a hull made out of this might be able to withstand the forces generating by the Pym-Fields warping space/time when scaled up to FTL speeds. That has been the biggest limiter with the drives I installed in the T-Jet, it /could/ go faster but it would disintegrate. We would need something like this."

Riri Williams has posed:
"Does time work the same way when you're small?" Riri asks the obvious question because this was her moving atom by atom using some very small focused lasers and the like. "Because that would take a long time. I mean....I suppose it could be done, but even this?" she gestures to the card. "It was only when I figured out how to zipper chains of molecules together that I was able to move to that point."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
"It does actually, I can work for about a day in my micro laboratory for every hour that passes in the macro scale world. It is literally the best feature, other than being nigh impossible to break into. I can get soooo much more done that way. People thought I made the T-Jet's Pym Drives in like two weeks but it was actually a lot more work testing the effects of Pym Fields on manipulating the expansion and compression of Space/Time."

Riri Williams has posed:
Being able to manipulate the exact placement of the molecules could start a chain reaction that would combine them, like putting a layer cake together with electrons acting as the icing, making them a permanent bond that wouldn't break or melt due to there not being any kind of adhesive. Hmm. Riri gets that thoughtful expression of hers, looking to Nadia, then to her half-finished coffee. "it'd be a lot of work." she finally says. "A /lot/ of work."

Nadia Pym-van Dyne has posed:
Nadia just grins, the look in her eyes is not dissimilar to the one she gets when someone tells her that an idea is impossible, "I think the word you are looking for is fun. It will be a lot of /fun/. Just think of all the things you could do with a material like that, so many applications!"
