Date of Scene: 01 February 2021
Location: Conference Rooms - Hellfire Club
Synopsis: Rose hires some ninjas!
Cast of Characters: Rose Wilson, Sebastian Shaw

Rose Wilson has posed:
Ravager is dressed in her costumed regalia, complete with a sword stashed at her hip. She doesn't really look in the best mood at she announces herself to Shaw's personal assistant, and then tells her, "Take me to him," she states.

She has made this meeting in order to follow up on something that she doesn't want everybody to know about but she has to take care of, so she's even willing to meet with Sebastian Shaw. She walks through the Hellfire Club to the Conference Area but doesnt sit down. She merely crosses her arms and waits.

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
The assistant -- who introduces herself as Tessa -- leads Ravager to the elevator, then takes her up to the eighth floor, home to the conference rooms of the Hellfire Club. She leads Ravager to one of the doors in particular, and then knocks twice, before opening. Inside sits Sebastian Shaw, though, he's currently on a phone call.

"No, no, that is fine. We don't need the...parts for this. Just, get the machinery. Yes, that will be good. Ok, I gotta go, my next meeting is here. Bye," he says before he hangs up and sighs quietly, "Sometimes it is a struggle to get a word in edgewise with people. He then looks over to Tessa and Ravager, and says, "Thank you Tessa, you may go."

The man stands up from his chair and looks Ravager over for a moment, before he motions her to an empty seat nearby, "Please, join me Ms. Ravager," he says politely, before he asks, "What can we do to be of assistance to you?"

Rose Wilson has posed:
Ravager gives a glance at Shaw's office and stands in front of his desk as she says, "I heard you were a man who could get things," she comments. She moves back to take a seat in the lounge chair. She doesn't really go into introductions but figures Shaw either knows who she is or at least knows what's she's doing.

"I don't really deal with mercenaries much anymore but now I need something quickly. Yeah, I need some ninjas. Lots of em."

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
"You need ninjas? For...anything in particular, or just to have lounge around your apartment?" Shaw asks, seeming a bit surprised by this request. He steeples his fingers and looks at Ravager as she settles into the lounge chair, as if sizing her up. "And, were we to provide these ninjas, what would you offer us in return? We are not a benevolent society after all."

Rose Wilson has posed:
"I'm sure we can come to an arrangement if you can help me. You see, I've got this evil presence stalking me and well---I'm gonna kick his ass. Just so happens, he's got ninjas too," Ravager explains matter-of-factily and shrugs.

She leans forward and puts an old faded photograph on Shaw's desk. It's of a beautiful Asian woman in a long dress standing next to a mysterious dark man. She doesn't seem that pleased from appearances, "This man. This man in the photograph--I went overseas and found this photo in my Mother's book she left behind in Cambodia. You see, my father rescued her and got her away from there. I think he got her away from this man too. This evil."

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
Sebastian Shaw says, "Yes, perhaps we should start at the beginning," Shaw says as the picture is prodcued. He looks down at it, noting the evil man, and asks, "Do you know who this is? What powers he has? How he has an army of ninjas in the United States ready to act at his beck and call?" As he asks these things, he stands slightly to get a better look a the photograph. "When was this taken?"

He then walks over to a small refridgerator, and opens it, "Would you like a drink?" he asks of Ravager, as if costumed people coming into his Club with vague pictures of people who have wronged them is a daily occurance."

Rose Wilson has posed:
"Sure," Ravager mutters and then leans back in her chair with the consideration of questions. She smirks and doesn't seem like she's being very patient about this conversation or the situation. "Not exactly, but there's not many people it can be. I thought he was Khmer Rouge military at first but I think he's a mercenary. He looks Chinese or maybe Japanese," she suggests.

"Yeah, he's got lots of em. They almost got the drop on me the other day but I was able to avoid them. They blended in so well that I lost track of them. Never seen ones like this before."

"That photo was taken before I was born...." she says and trails off.

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
"Were these ninjas wearing any particular uniform?" Shaw asks, walking over with a glass of water that he sets in front of Ravager.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Ravager hrmms, "Yeah, they wore a red bandana over their head and midsection. They all had the same insignia. It looked like a FOOT. Do you know these guys? You know who they are, don't you?" she asks him. She frowns and seems impatient for an answer.

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
The description she gives seems to catch Shaw by surprise. "Red bandanas, with red clothing, that had a foot on them? Not a hand? Did not refer to the Hand? Nothing like that?" He sets the glass down and then returns to his seat, "I can say I am not aware of any martial artists operating in New York City with such an insignia. How often have you encountered them?" The fact that there is another sect of ninjas operating in Hand territory seems to be of some interest to the man.

Rose Wilson has posed:
Ravager shakes her head, "Not a /hand/, a /foot/. These guys love feet, not hands. Great, so you don't know them,," she explains sarcastically, "They've been trailing me all week."

"Are you gonna help me or you got any more questions?" she wonders pointedly.

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
"You may be unaware, but there are a lot of organizations that are active within the city. I needed to ensure this was not a group that I have had dealings with. Or had a truce with. Or had hired to hunt you for some reason that is escaping my mind." Shaw explains. He considers the girl for a few long moments, and then says, "I have more questions. You are asking me to make an investment in a property -- you -- that I have no knowledge of. This is not something that comes easily or lightly. Not if you want it done well, and correctly."

He gets up again and walks over to the mini bar, and this time pours himself something stronger than water, "And I am not entirely sure you are aware of what you are asking, or what this may end up costing you. While I don't usually give a damn about the cost a service incurs, I do like my customers being aware of what the price is. In order to estimate that, I need to know what guarantee I have that you aren't going to take the service I offer you, and disappear into the aether?"

Rose Wilson has posed:
Ravager shakes her head after Shaw gets done ranting, "You certainly can say a lot without saying very much. Hmm well, I guess if I disappear you can call my father, Deathstroke. The Terminator. But I'd rather not talk about him because I can do this shit without any help from him. I just need a few damn ninjas, that's all," she says and mutters.

"I promised my friends I wouldn't do jobs anymore, if that's what you're getting at. But I've got to stop these Foot Ninjas. I guess I don't give a shit what it takes. I can handle it."

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
"Your father is Deathstroke." Shaw says flatly as he stares at the girl in front of him. "You're Rose Wilson. Take off your mask, girl." He orders, "So I can be sure you're telling me the truth. Though, it seems like an especially stupid lie to tell here of all places."

At the comment about how she can do things without her father knowing, Shaw smiles very slowly, "If you are telling the truth, the ninjas -- such as I can provide you -- are yours. You are a member of this club, and as such, afforded certain....benefits. Though, my silence about informing your father of this, comes at a cost."

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson smirks a bit and stands up from her chair defiantly, whipping off her mask, pulling it back and shaking out her white hair, "I was trying to do this on my own," she tells him, "Now you forced me to pull his name out from under the carpet," she adds with a glum smirk, "Fine, whatever."

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
"I understand the need for youthful independence. I do. But, my position is reliant upon upholding certain standards. I cannot go throwing resources at someone with no track record and no way for me to recoup my expenses. But you, Ms. Wilson," And at this Shaw stands and walks over to the girl, stroking a finger down her cheek, "You are a special case. What -- aside from just generically, ninjas, would you require from us? I have favors I can pull in to accquire you the muscle you need, but I need specifics."

Rose Wilson has posed:
Rose Wilson eyes Shaw's hand as he touches her, "Stop," she mutters, and crosses her arms, "You can have whatever's left of em after I kick their ass. Maybe swords, antiques, who knows, maybe magic shit," she explains.

"I'll have to think of something to dupe them with. A trap. I'll get back to you. "

Sebastian Shaw has posed:
Sebastian Shaw grins, a dangerous grin, the grin of someone who has found some sort of crack in an adversary's armor at Rose telling him to stop. He does so, but in the back of his mind he makes a note of it. "We will of course handle cleanup, yes. So long as you do not get all of our resources killed in your battle. Is there anything else I can assist you with, Ms. Wilson?"

He then takes a couple of steps back from her and adds, "Of course, my discretion is absolute in this matter. I will not speak a word of it to your father. Though, should things go well, perhaps we will see about moving you from simply a legacy to an actual member of the Club."

Rose Wilson has posed:
"I don't think so," Rose Wilson mutters and eyes this Shaw guy in a new light, "Keep my father out of it," she reiterates. "And get the ninjas. They better not be idiots or there will be a lot of clean-up."

"Okay, we're done," she tells him and turns to go.
