Back-Scene: Post Roxxon Investigation

Synopsis:	Jess goes to furiously to Matt, sharing her thoughts that Elektra had set her up in the Roxxon investigation.

Jessica Jones has posed:
The first place Jessica went to after securing Tommy Lin in a safe house, that being, tied up in her apartment until she can deliver him to Elektra, was Matt Murdock's place. She was still decorated with blood and stab wounds, and the powerful knock on the door was a big enough tell that she's not happy. She'd announce herself, but hell, Matt probably already know who's at the door if he's even in.

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Indeed, Matt can hear Jessica coming from before she gets on the elevator and those knocks are like cannon shots in his ears. "It's open," he shouts as he stuffs some hoodies and sweatpants into a bag, before turning to meet Jessica as she enters. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asks scenting blood and getting a general sense of her mental state from a dozen clues subtle and otherwise.

Jessica Jones has posed:
"I'm sorry," Jessica snaps as she walks inside, closing the door behind her, "should have probably checked that first..." Jessica is dressed in a pants-suit like she was some company executive somewhere, only her outfit is marred with slices and stabds and splattered with blood she couldn't have been bothered to deal with yet. "So that friend of yours...Elektra? I think she tried to set me up."

Matthew Murdock has posed:
"It's fine," Matt says earnestly, as he takes in her wardrobe. "Working a case-" he begins before Jess speaks and he frowns, it wouldn't be accurate to say he's surprised but definitely concerned. "What happened?"

Jessica Jones has posed:
"A case that Elektra gave me...I should have known better," Jessica growls quietly to herself, pacing about, she's clearly irate, as she heads towards the fridge making herself quite at home, "you got anything worth drinking?" She asks, before going into the story, "should have been simple, locate some schmoe informant from the Hand, turned out to be a Roxxon connection...and when I followed up, I got ambushed by those magic ninjas..."

Matthew Murdock has posed:
"Beer in the fridge," it's imported. "Whisky in the cabinet above it," he says moving to lean against the kitchen bar to listen. "What makes you think it was a set up on Elektra's part? Could just be an ambush."

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica is about to reach for the fridge, when she hears the rest of it, and pours herself a glass, downs it, and then pours another and takes it with her as she walks up to Matt. "Yeah, so, I kinda think she knew that would happen...I mean, she has connection with the Hand, that guy was her informant...she knew they wanted to ambush her, that's why she sent me!"

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt listens with a frown as Jess lays out her case. "She does have a connection with the Hand but she's been working against them for months," still he can't quite put throwing someone into an ambush past her. "Did she say or do anything weird that made you think she knew it was coming?"

Jessica Jones has posed:
"You're one hundred percent on that one, Matt?" Jessica asks, and for once her anger level is subsiding, she's usually stubborn to follow her gut feeling. But Matt is probably one of the few people whose opinions she will consider. "Well, she's Elektra...?" Jess makes the simplest case she can for that one, taking a sip, "I feel like she knew there would be karate magic involved. Those bastards stabbed me, and it fucking hurt..."

Matthew Murdock has posed:
Matt lets out a breath, "Fair point," he says of Elektra being Elektra, before turning to Jess herself. "Are you okay? Should I call Claire?" he asks about the stabbing. "Anyhow, I want to believe Elektra didn't set you up like that, but like I said, I can't say for sure it's not what happened. I'll talk to her, see what she says," and almost certainly listen to her heart while he does. "But how are you now? Do I need to call Claire?"

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica shakes her head, "no, no, I'm fine..." but after another sip, she groans heavily, "fine, may as well have her take a look, I don't need anything getting infected, who know what kind of shit they had on their blades." She nods, accepting Matt's take, "fine, if you talk to her I'll feel better, I mean, no way she'll tell me that she set me up..."
