Carrie Kelley has posed:
Early to mid afternoon, a not terribly chilly day, and it seems Carrie is out for a bit of a workout. A jog. One that includes a fair amount of parkour as she climbs and leaps from benches, or fountains, or, well, the large tree in the middle of the park is a perfect place to work on one's climbing skills.

She attacks the tree with abandon, clambering up the first few branches easily. She already has a sheen of sweat on her skin from the jog she's been on, but, the tree seems to be the final stage of the run. She grunts a little as she attempts to pull herself up using only her arms, kicking her legs a bit, before she curves her body and wraps one leg around the branch, and heaves herself up. She sits there for a moment, breathing heavily. "Yup...too many croissants..." she murmurs to herself.

Selina Kyle has posed:
It's a nice day in the park, a bit breezy and covered in snow, but the sun is shining and it is warm enough for a workout, or a walk..But today, Catwoman is lurking about in the park, keeping an eye on some of her younger charges who aren't living in luxury HD will often steal to survive. Naturally she taught many of them their tricks.

Today as she likes in the shadows, she watches as one particular young, thin teenager with a short blonde bob walks through the park, casually lifting a few purses, even stealing an apple from one unsuspecting passerby's shopping bag.

She smiles as she watches, quite proud of her charge as the young blonde teenager makes her way to the cat in black, offering her the apple. "Excellent work, Bobbi, you're a quick learner." she inspects the apple, taking a bite. Mmm. Granny Smiths are her favorite..

Carrie Kelley has posed:
Carrie Kelley sits atop the tree branch, and cannot miss the pickpocketing going on. She frowns, and then frowns even more deeply as she spies where the young girl goes, and who she meets up with. The girl is in a bit of a quandry though. She's not in uniform, so, it's not like she can just pounce on Catwoman without giving away her identity. She considers for a second, and then starts to leap down the branches.

As she hits the last branch, she kicks off of it and lands in a crouch, before she starts jogging in the general direction of Catwoman and her ward. The girl gets close, and then trips over a bit of rocky ground and slams into the teen as she tumbles to the dirt, hopefully spilling some of the girl's ill-gotten gains so she can then see about Catwoman herself. A little brave? Sure, a little stupid? Absolutely.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman notices the jogger not far from them, but pays her little attention, smiling at her young charge. "Hmm, one thing I would do, is be a bit more..l!" and that's when the jogger so 'innocently' stumbles into the younger thief, causing the girl to stumble and drop her mini backpack, which spills open, revealing numerous interesting items such as wallets, watches, food, a few wads of cash, and quite a bit of jewelry. Fortunately, there are not a lot of other people nearby..

The girl gasps and starts picking up her stolen items. Catwoman narrows her eyes, peering warily at the jogger, giving her the once over. "Are you alright, miss?" she doesn't offer her a hand up, just watching her, seeming to be deciding if she's a threat or truly an innocent jogger.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
The 'jogger' scrambles to her feet, and then a foot is pressed down on the other girl's wrist, making sure she doesn't get away too easily, "C'mon, Catwoman...you can do better than this," the way she says this, there's a hint of depression in it. "This girl's barely old enough to start thinking about boys, let alone a life of robbing other people. Just...come on now."

The outfit that Catwoman wears is given a long look, before her eyes go back to hers, "I'll let her go if you promise me something." And then a glance down to the girl, "And you promise to stop stealing."

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman rolls her eyes, glaring at the girl. "Who the hell do you think you are? Back off now, before I lose my patience.." she sure doesn't appreciate some you g upstart trying to put her in her place. "And if you know what I'm about, you should know that I don't manipulate innocent girls. I just give homeless, helpless kids a way to survive on the streets.."

Still she is curious to hear what this girl has to say, and may as well hear her out. "You know, I could break your arm if I wanted, before you could pull anything, but...Humour me." she smirks, arms folded.

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"You probably could. I've seen what you can do when you're angry, but I think you'd rather not bring that kind of attention to yourself today." Carrie replies, before she looks down at the girl, and then slowly lets her foot of the girl's wrist. "Go." she says in a sharp tone, and the girl takes off running (though, not after grabbing a couple of billfolds for her trouble). Carrie sighs quietly, and then turns back to Catwoman.

"I've heard it before, from you, from others. You're not the ones ruining the system, you're just helping those who have less..." Carrie says with her arms crossed over her chest, "So, instead of you teaching innocent kids how to become pick pockets, how about you teach me? I'm old enough to at least know right from wrong, and have a sense of the long term consequences."

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman nods to Bobbi who takes off, and she continues to watch her, making sure she gets out of the park safely, before peering back at Carrie. And when the younger woman finishes speaking, she just..Stares at her in shock, although quickly regaining her composure, chuckling a bit. "Well well, talk about glass houses.."

She narrows her eyes on Carrie intently, trying to figure out her angle. "And why would I do that? And why would another law abiding citizen of Gotham, who is probably another goody goody vigilante, want the help of one of Gotham's biggest criminals? Even if what I do, I do for survival, and not to harm others.."

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"See, that's why I want you training me, and not some kid who's gonna go and rob someone and get shot for their efforts. I'm young, nerdy looking, able to blend in to a crowd, smart enough to know how to approach a target and a woman, so people rarely suspect me. I've spent enough time on the street to know exactly how it works and who I should and shouldn't try this on." Carrie ticks off, "And, I'm not doing it to harm others either. It is a useful tool to have in my toolkit." As she says this, she approaches Catwoman, giving her a long look with narrowed green eyes, "In return, I'll turn a blind eye to the things you are doing...should any of it come to the attention of myself or any of my associates. Or, we can play cat and mouse?" she suggests, raising an eyebrow and grinning, perhaps a little dangerously.

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman sighs and shakes her head. "Do you even know what I'm about? I don't just go around robbing banks or teaching others how to kill, young lady. I only target the rich and powerful, the greedy and spoiled elite, who truly do not deserve the luxuries afforded them."

Her eyes narrow on Carrie, lips hardened into a serious frown, "This is not a game to me, and yet it is at the same time. But there are rules. I don't kill. I don't take hostages. I'm not a monster. I'd never dream of a bank robbery. That'd be way too obvious." she shrugs, keeping an eye on Carrie, but also sweeping the area, wondering if she's an undercover cop or something.

"So..How do I know you're not some..Spy? Heck, one of Batman's kids, looking for some dirt on me? How do I know that I can trust you, hmm?"

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"I have never killed anyone, I don't take hostages, and who said anything about robbing a bank? You sure you've never dreamed of it? You've brought it up twice," Carrie replies, before she smiles very slowly, like the cat that ate the canary.

"Perhaps I am, perhaps we could go three or four rounds before I call Batman in and we make your day really annoying."

She then frowns a little bit, "But, I suspect Batman -- if I were in contact with him -- would find a way to send one of his other lackeys to help. I think, if anything, my...theoretical...position with the Bat is...diminished these days. And, I think you are right. There are people with too much money, and too much luxury, who need to be reminded of the fragility of their position at times."

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman smirks, leaning casually against the nearby tree as she studies the young woman before her thoughtfully. "Is that So....? And honest thief, hmm? Or are you here just to test me? Heck, I do t even know your name, where you're from..Tell me, why are you so determined to learn thievery, while at the same time you seem like a good little upstanding citizen? What's your angle, what do you get out of this all?"

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"You can call me Catgirl. Where I'm from don't matter." She sounds like she's Gotham born and raised from her accent. "And, why do I want to learn it? Excitement, adventure, something new to keep me from dying on the inside, a little bit of a good girl gone bad...?" Carrie asks, before she smiles and says, "Because I'm tired of always being the last thing someone thinks of when they're...looking for someone with this particular skillset. It doesn't pay to be a good little girl all the time."

Selina Kyle has posed:
Catwoman smirks, "Cat girl, hmmm?" she purrs, "Interesting choice..You got a costume?Any experience? Clearly you're not just some silly clueless rich girl. I watched how you moved, how you got into position to 'accidently' trip..Pinning my friend down like that..," eyes narrow, )What other tricks you got up your sleeve?"

Carrie Kelley has posed:
"Oh, what sort of pet would I be if I gave away all my tricks at once?" Carrie asks with a sly smile, as she starts to back away from Catwoman, "Keep an eye out, next time I'm around, I'll have a costume and...well..we'll see what you can teach me." And with that, she returns to her jog, bouncing away off to who knows where.
