Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
Mid-day on antother day at work for Cassie Sandsmark at the Themysciran Embassy. She's just spent a good two hours filing various requests and reports, and answering e-mails for Diana. Taking a break from the computer, she leans back to stretch out her muscles before walking into the foyer. It's a pretty typical day for the Embassy, with diplomatic visitors and average citizens in the foyer of the building, waiting for tours or audiences with the Princess. Cassie wiggles her fingers and balls her fists to get the circulation back going while she strolls.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Kyani had a delivery to make, from the secured envelope he was carrying probably was some sort of paper work. Though why was this one sent to his job, nothing this formal was normally sent, but who was Kyani to ask questions right? They needed to be there now and he was the one to get it done. A burst of wind hit a few people as he stops and walks up the steps to the embassy.
He opens the door and walks into the foyer of the Embassy. He looks around, he's not been here before, he knew where it was easily but he's never come inside. He takes a moment to look around, granted he could easily move through the place and no one would spot him, but that would be rude. Once he checks out the foyer he goes to the main desk and he notices the blonde woman sitting at the desk, "Bored huh?" he chuckles.

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
"Lets say that the life of an Embassy worker isn't as dramatic or exciting as the spy movies make it out to be," Cassie replies with a smile. She walks over ot the messenger, signing whatever he needs signed before holding out her hand for the package. The sleeve of her professional business blazer pulls back a bit, revealing a hint of silber metal around her wrist, shiny and thick. It would remind a casual observer of the bracers that Wonder Woman herself wears, but this girl...doesn't quite look like an Amazon. She's rather short, for one thing; barely 5 and a half feet tall. And while if one squints, they could see the Mediterranean features in the young woman's face, her hair is a decidedly un-Greek blonde, and it looks to be a natural blonde at that.

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
Kyani has her sign his iPad and once the signature is taken, he smiles and nods his head. He hands over the package and puts his iPad back into his messenger bag. He smiles and bows his head, "I guess so." he laughs. "But than again those spy movies are shit, though some are pretty good." he chuckles. "I'm Kyani, whats your name?" he asks.
He does notice the bracelets on her wrist, and his brow raises slightly as he looks at her trying to see if she has any resemblance to Diana, but not really, still she is cute. "Well I hope they pay well." he chuckles.

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
"Cassie," the girl replies to Kyani. She finishes her signature then looks at the package. Determining it not to be of critical importance, she sets it on the receptionist desk. "I'm the Assistant to Princess Diana. Well...*an* assistant." She's not walking it back becasue she was bragging, just to make sure that everyone here gets their proper due and recognition. "Kyani's an interesting name. What part of Africa is it from? And the pay is good, here. Mor importantly, the work is good here. Princess Diana is involved in so many charities and artistic exchange works. I'm glad to be able to help her promote the ideas and culture of Themyscira to the greater world. She also ends up helping a lot of people in need, and I'm proud to play a small part in that."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
He smiles as Cassie speaks about her job and being able to work with Diana and helping as much as she can here. He nods his head, "I hear she does some amazing things. I like that." he says to her. "Though you are in a very good position to be able to further aid her if you play your cards right." he smiles. "Nah, my name is Hawaiian." he smiles. "My mom is Hawaiian and my dad is African American." he says to her. "Are you in school or still in school?" he asks.

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
"Oh, that's cool. I've been to Hawaii a couple time; beautiful place." Cassie leans against the reception desk, folding ehr arms in front of her. And yes, the other bracer is visible under her blazer sleeve. "Well, I sort of too a year off, but I'm starting at Columbia as a Freshman in September. So, plenty of time to devote to the work to be found here." She's smiling, but looks at Kyani curiously. "And what do you mean, 'If I play my cards right?'"

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
"That's amazing." he says to her. "I didn't mean anything by that. What I was trying to say is this. You're here as a receptionist right now, but the more work you do and they see how hard you work, you can move up being able to do more." he says to her. "I love Hawaii as well, I've been home a few times and love my family." he smiles.

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
Cassie smiles at the suggestion of her 'moving up the ranks'. Kyani doesn't know who she is, and she doesn't blame him; Cassie hasn't exactly been a noteworthy hero. "Well, how about you?" she asks Kyani. "What do you do when you're not delivering packages? College?"

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
He shakes his head, "Nah." he says to her. "I thought about it, but I don't think college is for me." he looks only a few years older than Cassie. "I'm just working, I make my money doing what you see here." he grins. "I get around pretty quick and I know this city like hte back of my hand." he boasts. He looks around for a moment and than back to Cassie. No he doesn't know Cassie as a hero, granted even he isn't known, though he's not done anything hero like. "Granted you never know things could change."

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
"Well, what would you want things to change to?" Cassie asks. "That's the beauty of New York, you can completely reinvent yourself here, become whoever or whatever you want to be. Just becsue you're happy with delivering packages today doesn't mean you have to stay happy with that tomorrow or the next month or the next year from now. Heck, forget me rising up the ranks, you could do the same and end up the CEO of your company some day."

Kyani Kohanna has posed:
He looks to Cassie and studies her for a moment. "You may be right." he smiles to her. "Though I will let you in on something." he hands her a card. "If Diana needs something delivered very quickly and don't want to use the company I work for, you all can call me." he says to her. "I do a little deliverying on the side of the company I work for. Cut out the middle man and the money I make helps me do my job better and honestly it makes my customers happy." he hands her hsi cared.

Cassie Sandsmark has posed:
"I'll keep that in mind," Cassie says with a smile. "Thanks for the delivery. Stay safe out there." She vies Kyani a friendly wave, then picks up the package and takes it, and the card, back into an office. After the door closes, she sighs and looks around. Now, where did that request from the Natural History Museum to display a set of Themysciran columns go?
