Synopsis:	Bart and Wally get to know Courtney. They have a casual conversation and manage to get her back to her hotel room in time for curfew.

Wally West has posed:
The lobby is relatively quiet tonight. Some of it is that the Titans often work nights, but a larger part of it is that the half the crew is down at the station booking The Wrecking Crew (TM). Wally heads over to the bar area.

"I am so glad we don't have to do booking. Its soooo boring." Wally says as he looks for a seat. He is slightly rushing his words. The adrenaline of a big fight has that effect on him. "Welcome to the Titans Tower, Star Spangled Kid. You are welcome to drop by anytime."

He smiles as he flops down on the couch. "Say, I've been meaning to ask you. Nebraska is a long ways away. What brings you to the big city?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods, and says "And besides, any food missing, and Flash or I will get the blame." He offers a bit. He does move to get himself a drink, and to Wally he says "I think it is more they worry we will be like they did this, book em dano and zip out." He grins a bit and knows neither one of them would do that, if no other reason Barry would have both their hides if they messed up a case by rushing booking.

Courtney Whitmore has posed:
She follows along quietly, taking it all in with wide eyes. Her mask and costume is still on, of course. Star Spangled Kid turns slowly to take it all in. The moniker is a famous one for anyone who pays attention to history. A LONG time ago the Justice Society of America served as the example of public heroism. Star Spangled Kid was one of the members.

"School. I'm going to NYU for school. I was in Metropolis for a school trip. Well, we're staying in a hotel over the weekend for some museum trips. I snuck out to do some hero stuff..."

Wally West has posed:
Wally makes an indignant noise "I did that ONE TIME. You'd think they would stop bugging me after 7 years, but noOo." Wally does not fondly remember being the kid of the group when they first started.

Wally has had super speed so long he almost forgot that New York isn't one block away from metropolis. The mention of hotels reminds him. "Aww, thats a shame. Well, be sure to drop by when you come to town next, and hey maybe we will see eachother around up in NYC. I go there a fair bit." He makes himself a cup of seltzer. "How is the big city life treating you? I still commute from Kansas, so I am not sure I really know what that transition is like."

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen nods, and says "I go to ESU for classes." He comments about one of the New York colleges. " He looks over to Wally, and says "And how many Police officers in the family?" Figuring thats not giving to much away plus Wally, has a public ID. He starts to make a sandwich that would make Scooby and Shaggy proud, zooming off for a moment, and coming back with a six foot loaf of bread sometime during it, and now cutting it into 3 foots sections "Would you like something to eat SSK?"

Courtney Whitmore has posed:
She finds a place to sit and tries to get comfortable, tucking some blonde behind her ear. "I'm cool, thanks. Supposed to go out to dinner with my class later, anyways. Korean Barbecue. I'm hype. We didn't have that in Nebraska, but I loved it when I was growing up in California." SSK glances between the two. "So, the Titans, huh? Cool. Been a fan of the team for awhile. You guys are rad."

Wally West has posed:
Wally has many regrets about his early years as a hero. Most of them have to do with the secrets he kept from the people close to him. This is all that and more. "Hey I was in a hurry. I was still keeeping my identity a secret, and I was late. Besides, I was new." He sighs.

"Man, it is wild to think of us as famous. We start out as kids, and pretty soon we are saving the world and on the news. To think even after all this time." He downs his cup in one go. "You are from California? Wow. I never would have guessed." He then takes on a conspiritorial tone. "So which place is better?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen will drop off half the sandwich in front of Wally, and says "They are all right, I mean most of them are pretty cool, but some." He grins looking over at Wally teasingly. "So, you the original Star Spangle Kid's Grandkid, or Kid, I mean I think the original disappeared for a while, which could mean your from the future or something, but trust me I have heard all the stories about him and the rest of the guys."

Courtney Whitmore has posed:
"If you'd asked me that a few years ago I would have told you Nebraska sucks, and I wanted to move back to LA. Now adays?" She shrugs a bit. "I don't know, I guess. They're hard to compare. They're like different planets almost." She turns to Bart and laughs softly, shaking her head. "No. Nothing like that." She doesn't exactly go into her origin story, though. "But I do have his belt."

Wally West has posed:
Wallychooses to deliberately misinterperet Bart's implication. "Hey only 'pretty cool? I think I rate at least a 'cool' if not a 'super cool'"

Wally is not exactly the best student of history. Not even the history of superheroes. He was aware that there was a Star Spangled Kid back in the day, but he hadn't even made the connection. "Wait thats where you get your name? Wow I feel stupid. I did not notice that." He begins pac-maning the sandwich half. "We are inquisitive folk, so we are going to keep asking for more until you tell us to stop. So is this one of those situations where you beat him in a patriotic song contest and won his belt as a prize? Maybe Trial by combat?"

Bart Allen has posed:
Bart Allen looks over to Wally, and says "He was part of the JSA with Jay." He offers in explanation of why he knows it. To Courtney, he will look over and say "For my last couple years of high school, I lived with one of the original JSA members and his wife."
