Synopsis: Hank, Mike and Morrigan try to get a drink, tangles happen, pets are given and sun is too much.
Cast of Characters: Morrigan MacIntyre, Michael Hannigan, Hank Pym, Irie West

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
It's a fairly nice afternoon in Happy Harbor and the town that the school is named for is a bit bustling as the weather starts to warm up. Morrigan has made home here ever since SHIELD tapped her for the project in 2018. The perks of directing things, you get fantastic property. And her place was close to the old stores that are set up along the way. There is an antiques store and other little shops that cater to things that the big city might not.

That's probably why so many different people end up here where they might not be regularly. Morrigan's one of those folks that's come to investigate and see what new offerings the stores have for the weekend.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
As Morrigan explores, a familiar knitcapped figure can be seen standing on the walkway, glancing down to a card in hand. Specialy shops are what have drawn out one Michael Hannigan as he's out tracking down a shop location that was recommended to him by another. Based from the lingering pause as he stares to the card, it is quiet apparent that business card design was not the reason for the recommendation.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym is one of the people here, walking his ant, Baudelaire, dressed in a natty Service Animal vest. He eventually tires of questions and requests to pet the ant (No. He's working! He is my emotional support animal! What do you mean get a bigger ant?!) He too sees Mike and belatedly Morrigan and gives a yell. "Hey, Mike, Dr. MacIntyre! Over here. C'mon Bo!" They hurry up to their friends.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan's dressed in jeans, boots and a cable knit sweater today. Much more laid back than in school environs. She looks up just in time to see Mike standing in front of the shop not too far off from her. Then she hears Hank's familiar voice and there's a smile and a wave to both of them, "I'll be right there." she calls over to Hank. There's a little paper bag tucked into her purse before she heads towards the two of them.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike shakes his head at the blurred numbers. The font being used unfortunately having the effect of making the 0s, 3s, and 8s look alike. But hey. It's *PRETTY*.

Hearing his name, the musician lowers his card, turning his head to see his friend and ant rushing over. Bo pretty much makes it clear who it is. Grumpy look fading, he gives a half smile as he waves a hand to the incoming doctor.

But he did call out another name, didn't he? Turning his head, he sees Dr. MacIntyre approaching from the other direction which makes Mike's suggested course of action quite clear. As the middle point, he stays put until they get there, greeting them as they arrive. "Hey Hank. Hey Bo. Hey Morrigan."

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym gives Mike a light touch on the forearm in recognition. "Bo! Down. Your students were a little bewitched by Bo. I told them not to crowd him and that he could throw a car. Then they wanted to see it. So I picked one of their cars. They quieted down after that. So far his most violent act is throwing drumsticks. Thanks for showing hm that Michael. He looks at Morrigan intently for a moment, wondering. Probably none of his business. "Dr. MacIntyre, I think I am settled finally. Thank you for your help everyone. I owe Bo a pot roast now."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan finally catches up with everyone and while there might be a smile on her face there is a bit of fatigue about the woman. Probably just over working herself. "Doctor Pym, Mike and Bo." she greets them. "It's a nice day to get out and do errands or enjoy the chill down at the beach." she mentions idly. She shakes her head, "Oh it's nothing. Helping out with getting you settled has been fun." she admits to Hank.

Then she looks to Bo, "You are gathering quite the little fan club at school, even Tyler wants to meet you sometime. So does Irie." she muses. Then back to Mike and Hank, "How is your Saturday going gentlemen?" she asks.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Well, he only picked up half of it." Mike admits, giving a bit of a low chuckle, "The other half of the trick is to catch them after the spin in the air...I think he's still trying to learn that part."

He glances down to the card in hand. "Things are alright. Ended up getting recommended a store down here but the business card has such a horrible font I can't read the numbers in the address. Part of me's half expecting to run into-" He pauses, "-some business I have no reason to be at."

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym smiles at Morrigan. "This Saturday was very productive. I was glad to meet some of the students. I may need to bring the other ants along to give Bo a rest. Dr. MacIntyre... I'm not one to pry but... I've overworked myself a few times..." Bo makes a sneezing or coughing noise at this. Hank gives him a look. "Balance is very important for workaholics like us. I mean it is Saturday. And Faculty traditionally are overworked. Take care of yourself. You are very essential." He blushes a little. Yes he is not outgoing or inquiring. Not naturally.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a smile to Mike as he talks and there is a chuckle, "Sometimes we do have odd little things that we run into." she tells him. Then she looks to Hank and her brows furrow as she listens to him. Then she looks to her watch to see the time before she lowers her hand and gives a nod to that, "Sadly I have limited amounts of time that I can stay out in the daytime due to my allergy to the sun. No beach days for me." she muses. "I was talking to Mike and Irie about that yesterday actually." she states. "I will take some care with things though, Doctor Pym." she adds.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike is just SHOCKED. Just SHOCKED at the realization that Dr. Pym is a workaholic. WHO KNEW?! No. Not really. But he does a darn good impression of someone who is surprised to being hearing this revelation. That is until Bo makes his little comment on the topic.

Mike glances down, trying to hide away a smirk. The smirk does die away at the reminder of Morrigan's sun allergy which causes for him to glance up - briefly before averting his eyes again. Yeah- best not to look at the sun. "I think I passed a small cafe if you need to get out of the sun."

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym tilts his head in a way reminiscent of his little friends. "Solar urticaria is no joke. My sympathies. It's good you have some relief from it. I burn pretty easily myself sun block doesn't help... no it would not because some light goes through and the majority of light stopped is UV. Sorry... I'm rambling." He also wants to find out more about her condition. Yes he is not an MD but he's full of ideas.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a soft shake of her head, "I'll be fine for the moment. I need to see if I can push my serum further between uses, I try not to do it during the school work so I don't have to miss school." she admits. "But I will join you if you two were going to sit and have a drink." she adds. Then she looks to Hank and smiles, "You're alright and sadly the sun allergy runs in the family." she frowns at that. "And fair haired folks seem to burn easy." she nods to that.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike nods. "Well, if you're testing that serum now, we can hold off on going indoors. That'd mess with the scenario, wouldn't it?"

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym shakes his head. "Dr. MacIntyre knows best about her limits. Fair folk do burn easily and she's fairer than most... ahuh. ahem errr... that is... drinks were mentioned? I can use a libation. Maybe an ice coffee and Bailey's. Yes. He said it. Idiot. "Where to Dr. MacIntyre?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"I think I'd be fine going inside for a bit. Getting a drink and sitting down sounds pretty good and it will give me a chance to rest before seeing if they have any new oddities at the antiques store." Morrigan states with a smile. There is a look towards Hank though and a soft chuckle, "You can call me Morrigan since we aren't at school or anything if you like." she tells the man. "So that little cafe sounded lovely and can probably do iced drinks as well." she offers.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
At the general agreement from the others that they'd like to get drinks, Mike blinks. "Oh- okay." He turns, gesturing down the path he had come from. "It was this way..."

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym nods at Morrigan's permission. "I'm Hank. No one calls me Henry..." He goes to put a leash back on Bo's collar. Hey Bo has a collar! the ant thwaps Hank on the face with his antennae as he adjusts the lead and collar. "You have to wear it to go in the cafe. I know you could drag me by it or snap it. But we know you will be a good fellow and not do that. Because the payback would be very swift and as I said you are a good fellow."

He turns to the others. "He gets uppity at times."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan takes the sunglasses off, blinking a few times as the light hits and there's an apologetic look in Mike's direction, "Thank you." she tells him. Then she's starting to turn that way. Bo is offered a look and a softer smile, "I'm sorry about that Bo." she states. Then there's a smile to Hank, "Not unless you're in trouble I'm guessing. I'll call you Hank then." she nods. Then she off towards the cafe!

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Hmm. Kind of makes you wonder about the 'pets and their owners looking and acting alike' phenomenon, doesn't it?" Mike muses aloud, starting to walk towards the cafe as well. There was a collective agreement to getting something to drink after all. And. Well, he could go for some tea or a water right about now.

He looks over to the ant before glancing to Hank. "How's Bo handling the school?"

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym hehs and looks away. "No then it is generally... "Dr. Pym, Director Fury wants to speak with you... NOW. No. Maria used to call me Henry. Sort of like Lieutenant Columbo's wife being the only one to use his first name. Pets resembling their owners... he's not even a mammal. Besides for an ant he's quite handsome. If hadn't interrupted his mating cycle he'd be dead after a day." He absently strokes an antenna.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a smile at talk of the animals looking like their owners, "It is uncanny sometimes. Sadly I don't have that problem with my cat, Occam." she muses to that. She looks curious to see how Bo has been doing. "Director Fury? That's an interesting name for sure." the woman ponders over that. She'd not met Fury. Just Hill and others. "Well, I'm glad he's not dead. Seems like he fits in pretty great." she smiles to that.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Sounds like the perfect name for someone who is just angry all the time." Mike assesses, "Hmm. Wonder what type of pet they'd own. Would it be a dog or a really pissed off looking cat?"

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym shrugs. "I like cats but having one is dangerous. I had one once that got into the growth serum and it nearly killed me. On the other hand... I've told dogs to sit when I was six inches tall and they obeyed. Hazards of mad science. Ants listen to me no matter their relative size. An ant got me back home the first time I used my shrink formula and got myself lost in an anthill. I don't know how, but it knew I needed help and treated me as a friend. Probably one of Bo's relatives."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a nod of agreement to Mike, "Exactly." she tells him. "At that point he's probably rocking some exotic creature." she muses at that. There's a curious look to Hank as he talks about having a cat is dangerous, "Occam doesn't go in my lab. Mainly because it's in the basement and that's the no go zone for him. Only one other person was allowed down there." she explains. "Ants are pretty extraordinary insects." she states with a look to Hank as her rapid blinking kicks back in and she dons the sunglasses. "Ice water would be nice." she chuckles as she reaches for the door to the cafe.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Ok. So based from Hank's assessment of the near fatal nature of cats. And Angry men of Fury need to rock that image... factoring in exotic creature."

Mike snaps his fingers, "Ok this Director Fury owns either a tiger or an ocelot. Being that he's apparently close enough to yell at Hank on a semi-regular basis, I'm siding with the ocelot due to size restrictions on residences. Also availability factors..."

As Morrigan pulls open the door, Mike raises a hand up to relieve Morrigan of door holding duty.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym's brain is a problem again. it takes in info all the time.Eye sensitivity is not a symptom of Solar urticaria. either his new friend has another related problem or sun allergy is just an approximation of her woes. He comes to that realization fast. He's certainly had his share of issues that he chose to carry alone for far too long... almost to the death. He hopes this is nothing too extreme in Morrigan's case. then he bumps heads with Mike trying to go for the door at the same time. Bo gets startled and the leash is suddenly tangling everything...

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"I'm guessing Tiger. We'll just go all in for this scenario." Morrigan laughs at that. Because being honest, anyone owning a tiger means they could be a stage magician at night. She lets Mike and Hank get the door once her hand has left it and then there is a tangle happening. "Oops. Sorry about that gentlemen." she states as she steps out of the way to let them figure that knot situation out. "Need help?" she asks.

Irie West has posed:
There's a rush of wind, and a streak of yellow to announce the arrival of Irie West, aka Kid Flash. Today she's dressed in her costume because she wanted to go out for a run to burn off some excess energy. And, hey, if she happens to stop a bank robbery or a mugging along the way, even better!

When she saw Mike and Morrigan, two people she met not too long ago talking with a man and a giant ant she just /had/ to slow down and introduce herself.

"Hihihi!" she says enthusiastically. "Hi Morrigan! Hi Mike!" She turns to Hank and says, "You must be Dr. Pym. Only you would be out walking a giant ant. Can I pet it? Pleeease?"

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Tiger it is th-" Mike stops speaking as a head comes a bit too close to his. He ducks down, avoiding the head bump, but with Bo bouncing around- "HE-Bo! No!

What follows is a fantastic display of grace taking a vacation as the leash manages to wrap around Mike's legs, causing for him to fall to the ground when Bo yanks his legs out from under him.

It is from that vantage point Mike sees Irie. "...Hey Irie," he groans.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan feels the rush of wind and there's a moment taken to take a deep breath in, "Irie?" she turns to see the speedster standing there. Huh. "Hi there." she smiles to her. Then there is a fallen Mike and people are tangled, "Oh no." she chuckles as she reaches a hand down to help Mike up back on his feet. "I'm sorry about that." she frowns as she tries to figure out how that all happened. She lets Hank field Irie's question about ant petting while she helps Mike.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym holds a hand out and Bo freezes completely. He does like puppeting his little friends but either that or Mike might see just how strong the ant really was. Neither he nor Bo would like that. He doesn't say a word as he shrinks down to about a half foot and works at the leash... when Irie shows up and Bo flinches from the sudden wind. "Uhm... hang on please. He's a little upset right now... Hank continues tugging at a knot and manages to untie the musician and the ant. "Well good to know I can still shrink that fast." He dusts his hands off and turns to Kid Flash. "You must be Irie. Yes you may pet him but... let him come to you. He'll want to tap on you with his antennae. It's like a dog wagging its tail." Actually more like he's sniffing and tasting and deciding on whether you are friend or food. //Friend Bo. Not food.// He starts growing back to normal more slowly. "Sorry Mike. I told you he was strong."

Irie West has posed:
Irie puts a hands on her hips. "You're /supposed/ to call me Kid Flash so as not to spoil my secret identity." Not that she has much of one. Anybody who knows Irie could figure out that she's Kid Flash in a hot minute.

Her eyes light up in glee at the prospect of petting a giant ant, but she takes Hank's word seriously, nodding solemnly in agreement. When the ant approaches her and taps her with his antennae she tries to suppress a giggle at the sensation. Currently she smells like Speed Force, whatever strange unique smell /that/ is, and tastes a bit like when you stick your tongue on a 9volt battery.

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike lays on the ground a bit longer, staring at the sky. "It's alright, Hank." He replies, "I was just thinking in the doorway of a cafe would be an excellent place to lie down rather quickly." He takes a deep breath, sitting up to look over to Bo before taking Morrigan's offered hand to help himself up. "Thank you."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan tries not to laugh, but Irie was right, "Alright there Kid Flash. I forgot." she whispers to her. She helps Mike up with ease, but she's not She-Hulk or anything like that. "It's no problem." she tells the man. Then she watches Hank with Bo and Irie and there's a smile, "Everything seems to be going alright." she murmurs. But that was still yet to be seen fully.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym takes the admonishment seriously, looking sort of like a little brother as he's only reached shoulder height to Irie when she corrects him. "I apologize Kid Flash. That was inexcusably thoughtless of me. I am indeed Dr. Pym. Usually I'm taller than this but you know, you hit forty and everything slows down. Maybe not for you though! Dr. MacIntyre, if Bo keeps making friends you may have to make him the school mascot. Now I'm picturing him chasing Mr. Met around a field." He sticks his hand out to Irie. Bo thwaps at the girl, seeming find her quite puzzling, little sparks accompanying each pat. But he does hold still for pets.

Irie West has posed:
Kid Flash is very careful about petting the giant. Ant. Her eyes are wide with wonder at having this unique opportunity. She starts tentatively, touching the chitin softly before moving to gentle strokes with a giggle. Once she's had enough she steps back and takes Hank's hand. "Thank you for letting me pet him, Dr. Pym."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Fully upright, Mike shares a smile to Morrigan before he glances down to his feet, cautiously shifting them around to check for any pangs. Finding himself sufficiently intact he looks over to Iri- "Sorry. Kid Flash." He corrects himself. "...Did we cover secret identities yesterday?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look over Mike and there's a nod, he wasn't too hurt. She looks to Hank and Kid Flash again and there's a smile to them, "I already have to change our Mascots name so I think making him an Ant might take a bit to get used to." she muses. "I'll ask the kids about it though." she adds. She gives a look to the inside of the cafe and then back to the others, "I'm going to have to rain check our drinks, but I am glad that we ran into each other. My house isn't far so I'll be fine." she tells them. "It was good to meet you, Kid Flash." she grins at her.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym shakes his head. "You can be excused, Mike. I'm an OG cape and I nearly outed her. Again I'm sorry. Most of your generation just go public and most of mine has. But I assumed. Again my apologies. I'm glad I could provide you a new experience. Bo is my best behaved ant. He likes humans. Oh... take care Dr. MacIntyre. I'll see you Monday I suppose." He waves to Morrigan and the take care seems more than a pleasantry. He looks at her carefully for signs of a reaction.

Irie West has posed:
Kid Flash shakes her head at Mike. "No, I don't think so," she says. "Do you have one, too?" She thinks better of this, "No, don't tell me. It's supposed to be secret after all." She tilts her head to consider him again. "I swear you look familiar. Were you in a movie or something?"

She waves at Morrigan, "It was good to meet you, too!" She turns to hank and nods. "Yeah. Future Dad insisted on the secret identities. He didn't want us to be bothered by people or villains."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
"Well, NEXT time we run into you we'll make sure you get a drink." Mike responds with a nod to Morrigan's need to make leave, "Take care, Morrigan."

Iris's inquiry to secret identities draws his attention over to Irie. "Ah-" He considers, "I have a stage name. Which I do some acting under. One was a movie. 'Life Bites!'"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to Hank and there's a moment of studying him before she gives him a softer smile, "I will take care, Doctor Pym. I'll be at school on Monday." she states with a dip of her head. A shaky hand pushes her sunglasses back up just a little and she gives a smile to Mike and Irie, "You guys enjoy the afternoon and I'll see everyone soon." she tells them. Then she's turning and heading back down the sidewalk towards the beach side homes.

Hank Pym has posed:
Hank Pym says, "I'll meet you back here later, Mike. Bo... mount up." He climbs on the ant and both shrink to tiny size. Bo spreads his wings and they flit off as a tiny escort to the principal.

Hank is a sneak yes. But he has a big heart.

Irie West has posed:
Kid Flash scrunches her face trying to place Life Bites. To her the movie is at least 20 years old, a lifetime ago and then some. She shakes her head. "I think that was one of the ones that my Dad wouldn't let me see," she admits. "I wonder if my Dad would let me watch it now."

She watches as Hank mounts up and shrinks down and flits off. "Wow, that's so cool."

Michael Hannigan has posed:
Mike gives a bit of a slight smirk at the mention of Irie's father not allowing Irie to watch that vampire movie. "Oh yes. There might have been some scenes in the film that wouldn't go well for a younger audience." He shrugs, "Maybe you saw me on a rerun somewhere."

He turns his head, watching as Hank makes his leave, lifting up a hand to wave the scientist off. "Well, it looks like you have something cool going on too based from your entrance."

Irie West has posed:
Kid Flash nods. "Yeah. I'm a speedster. Related to The Flash, actually." She starts to fidget in place. "Speaking of which, I should get back on patrol. I want to sleep tonight, so I have to run myself out of energy." She gives a little laugh, "Literally. It was good seeing you again!" And with that, she's off, faster than a blink of the eye.
