Helloooooooo JERK!
Date of Scene: 23 March 2021
Location: Xavier's Car Hold
Synopsis: Rogue and Remy meetup again after another long absence from one another. They go get breakfast, tacos? Who knows.
Cast of Characters: Rogue, Remy LeBeau

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is inside the cab of her truck, the red Ford Ranger that Jean had gotten her to do errands for the school. It was quick to get dirty due to Rogue's less than wonderfully clean habbits, but she was also eager to keep it clean so thusly she had a Monday Clean Day routine on her schedule and this is where she is now.

A trash bag is haning from her driver side door and she's tossing items in to it while using the hose of a vacuum to clean out the crumbs from the kids who sit inside her cab on their way to appointments eating snacks and junkfood she gets for them.

Rogue has a cowboy hat on, a straw hat, and some blue jeans and a tshirt. She's got music playing on the radio and is just humming to the tune as she cleans up!

Remy LeBeau has posed:
Stepping into the garage without a hat, as is the style, at the time, Remy has his hair not slicked back, but raked back using his fingers only. Remy walks up, his own feet stuffed into a pair of converse that seem half a size too small as he doesn't bother tying them tightly and the once white laces are grey and in tatters, as well as the soles. They've seen better days. He also wears a brown pea coat with tuxedo like tails on the back and with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows showing off the black compression sleeves with the holes for the thumbs on his arms and hands.

"Mornin'" The man says, his drawl rolling off his tongue as he seems to walk up behind Anna and with his eyes obviously pointed in one direciton, does he know who she is simply by her rear?

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is lost in her own world when the 'morning' greeting comes. She pauess her work to turn and sit down on the edge of the seat now when she sees him. Her eyes look him over before going back to his own eyes and she shows a partial grin?

"You look like a homeless man." The Belle tells the vagrant vagabond that she's called her on again, off again, boyfriend? Something? She doesn't even know.

"I figured you were gone for good this time." She adds then, her hands coming together between her knees now, no gloves on them right this moment. "Welcome back." She says quietly, like she's 'hurt' because she probably is.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
"Homeless man look is trés chic." Remy says, lifting his hand to rub at the stuble on his cheek and jawline before that smile creeps back onto his face as he looks towards Rogue, she always draws that smile to his lips, no matter what's going on in his life.

"Me? Gone fo' good? Nah, tha' won' do. Not me. I'm mo'e like-ah... Tom Cat. We can't stay in one place for too long, but we always come back." But then he shrugs, looking back down to Rogue as he lifts his arm to rest on the back of the cab and takes a peek inside the ride and then resting his gaze on Rogue, "Why the sad look?" As if he really doesn't know.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue is just left there to sit on her truck's seat edge with her feet extended out in front of her, her legs straight and her eyes down a bit as Remy sidles up to the side of the truck. She looks over at him though, the tip of her hat raising up to showe her green eyes from under the grim and the white bangs framing her face.

"Oh, I'm just..." She shakes her head and looks away again. "I just worry about ya, for some reason." She states then as she starts to turn and put her back to him so she can go back to cleaning out her truck, though his look inside it will show it looks pretty spotless and the sack she has on her door is filled with gatorade bottles and snack wrappers, almost like she's eating nothing but junkfood herself!

"I'm glad you're back though." She says with her back to him now, her hand reaching out to turn down the music and take her hat off to set it on her dashboard.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
Remy's hand balls into a fist as he steals a peak into the garbage back, and even opens it with a curious finger, "Is this all you?" The man asks, looking from the sack to Rogue's back, squinting slightly as he steps away from the driver side door and slowly starts to walk away, to the front and around to the side where he opens the passenger door. Or, he tries to.

A rasp or two with a single knuckle on the window, showing he wants to get in. "Ya need t' remember one key thin' Anna." He builds up, before sitting on the seat and starting to flip through Rogue's preset stations seemingly at random and without a worry as to what's playing. "Ah'm the Remy, ain't no reason t'worry about li'l ol' me, mon ami!" Remy says with that cocky grin aimed at Rogue's face.

Rogue has posed:
Rogue glances over at the garbage bag filled with snack wrappers and drink bottles. She snorts at his question. "God no." She replies. "I'm takin' the kids to and from town t'get their appointments done, or t'get supplies, so on and so forth. They just stuff the wrappers all over the damn place. I don't hassle'em about it either... the school has so many rules, I like t'be the fun one on faculty."

She starts to put the vacuum hoses away and such, it being one of those overly expensive Dyson cordless things, she's careful with it not to harm it. When he gets in to the truck from the other side she looks up and over at him.

She smirks. "Sure." She says at him somberly. "But what about me? I'm not as tough as people think I am, ya know." She states, glancing down to sort out the contents of her center console, it filled with dog biscuits and other Jeepers things.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
"Didn't figure you t'be the Xavier's chauffeur." Remy smirks again before settling the station on something soft and smooth jazz. How did he even find a station like that in New York?

The cajun then sits up straight in the seat and setting his shoulders against the back before turning and giving Rogue his full, undivided attention. Those deep black eyes of his not breaking from her face, and he raises his hand to hover near her cheek. Mindful to not touch her, and he tries to draw her attention up to his eyes so he can talk more forwardly, "Anna, you the toughest girl Ah ever had les plaisirs of knowing."

Remy then lowers his hand to her pants leg and lets the touch linger though he doesn't look away. "You's special t' me."

Rogue has posed:
Rogue watches him as he reaches over to touch her face. She doesn't tell him that she can partially control her power now, as she doesn't see a need to do that at this point. She's still kind of mad at him, right? So she just lets him move his hand away and down to her leg. She looks away from him then to put a couple more things in to the trash bag.

A light huff escapes between the Belle's lips at his words and when she takes the bag off of the door she looks back at him now holding it dangling out of her truck. "How many women are out there that ya say that kinda thing to?" She asks him. But she just shakes her head. "Don't answer that."

Rogue clears her throat and reaches for the keys to her truck to turn it on. "I'm gonna go get breakfast, you wanna come along?" She asks him then. One thing about Remy, is he generally always seems to want to hang out with her... WHEN HE'S HERE.

She likes the attention too... as much as she doesn't know where the hell he goes when he's gone, or who he goes with to where... to do what.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
Remy has his hand up and is already on 3 fingers before Rogue says to not answer and so he lowers his hands with that playful sarcastic grin on his lips. "Ah'm wounded Anna, y'know Ah ain't the lyin' type." The cajun confesses, "Ah may be a soundrel, and a nerf-herder, but fibbin', not really on my scoutin' report." Remy notes.

In response to the breakfast question, he only shuts the door and very VERY obviously puts on his seat belt. "Ah know how tough you are, so Ah ain't takin' no chances wit' you on the highway missy." He winks, "We gettin' tacos?"

Rogue has posed:
Rogue keeps her door open as she starts to drive the truck forward with the trash bag hanging out the side of it. When they get to the outside she tosses the bag in to the plastic bin and then closes the door to put her arm on the side of it since the window was rolled down... it's a bit chilly out, but it's spring so the weather is turning up.

"Tacos?" She asks. "At eight in the mornin'?" She smirks at him. "Cajun, you're outta your damn mind."

And the duo drive off down the front way toward Greymalkin Lane.

Remy LeBeau has posed:
"What? Ya ain' got breakfast tacos in Mississippi? Ah knew y'alls was back'ards." Remy slumps into his seat a bit, rolling his own window down and reaching his hand out the window, feeling the wind catch his palm and rise his arm. Then he lowers his fingers and feels like a bird in flight as they go down the road. "But, yah not wrong adorer. But it's ton truck, you decide where we go."
