Synopsis: No description
Cast of Characters: Reed Richards, April O'Neil

Reed Richards has posed:
Reed Richards stands as Sue departs, he smiles after her, and the nods to Aprll, "Yes, so that is all the information I have about the Rat King, it seems he is nocturnal in his explorations and that his habitat is the sewers in the lower boros."

April O'Neil has posed:
April is seated in a chair at this point with her legs crossed and the tablet computer on her lap. She glances in the directin that Sue had gone to before she looks back to the man across from her. "I see." She says quietly. She seems to be mulling thoughts over inside of her head then and after a second she continues. "Is there any way you could help track his movements? You've... got a lot of tech here, the kinda thing I don't even remotely have access to. Is there any of that could be put down in those locations to help garner some kind of... net, that would alert us to the Rat King's activity? Maybe we could catch him through learning his patterns, setup an ambush."

April shows a small smirk then. "Otherwise, I'm just gonna be down there with a knife and a camera in the dark myself." Which may or may not be a joke.

Reed Richards has posed:
Reed Richards smiles, settling back into the chair. He focuses on you his brown eyes warm but firm. "Well, if nothing else we can set you up with some trap cameras. And I would recommend a spear over a knife, a knife is a purely offensive weapon but a spear offers a multitude of options. Hmm, actually... " He pulls up some information on his own tablet and nods, " I think, yes, I think we can provide an expedition. Yes, a network of sensors that would take note if anything over say 75 kilos (165lbs), passed near them, they send alerts to mobile devices also passively track movement. It would at the very least give a better idea what was down there."

April O'Neil has posed:
April shows a quick grin at the weapon commentary. "I'll have to stop by the spear store on my way home." She quips, her punny jokes knowing now bounds.

She then falls in to just listening to him talk of the camera trap while her hands lace her fingers together on her lap, she nodding slowly and softly to what he says. She thinks of the Turtles in the sewers and knows that Donny would likely help monitor thoat cameras quite eagerly.

"Well." April says. "Based on what I've heard, there's a lot of things in the sewers. People, and otherwise. But yeah, a way to monitor that for this purpose would be fantastic." She pauses then. "No pun intended there." She states with a sly smirk.

"Thank you though, Mister Richards. This should help quite a bit." There's a pause then and she tilts her head. "What inspired you to get involved in this, if I might ask? Someone of your status, seems like... you might not consider this worth your time."

Reed Richards has posed:
Reed Richards rests his chin in his hand with wry grin, "Not at all, April, we use it all the time, Fantastic is a way of life." He winks and sits up a little straighter, folding his hands in his lap. "My status has been greatly over sold, April. I am at heart a simple scientist and explorer. I took my friends on an adventure and we had a very bad day. Which we, through perseverance, sheer tenacity and a little bit of luck, have turned into a very good life. We have them means to make a difference in the world, the resources and abilities to make the world at least a little bit better. Chaos theory has always stated for complex systems small manipulation can effect massive changes in outcomes. So, who is to stay what is worth me time? I go where my curiosity and my conscience take me."

April O'Neil has posed:
April, of course, sits quietly and listens tothe man as he speaks on all of this. She raises her slim pointed chin up then to nod gently to the last bit before she summons another light smile. "Right." She replies to him there-after.

"Well, it's appreciated. I have... friends who've been attacked by the Rat King. He tried to kill them, and they're just... good people. They fancy themselves as powerful vigilantes, and by all rights they really are, but they're also young and a bit naive about just how evil people in this world can be."

April shows another quick smile. "So yeah, it's good to see some of the people who are opposing that evil, and showing the pendulum can swing the other way too."

April reaches in to her jacket pocket and pulls out a business card that she then leans forward to offer to him. "This has my work and home information on it. If you're willing to send that equipment to my home address, it'd be amazing and very helpful. We'd all be in your debt for helping with this."

Reed Richards has posed:
Reed Richards smiles, with a chuckle, at the insistent young woman, "I am more than a little aware of those who's aspirations outstrip their experience, I have children."

Reed takes the card and smiles and nods. "Absolutely, I will have it all dropped off with a collection of spears in the morning." He makes some notes on the back of the card and slips it into a pocket.

April O'Neil has posed:
April raises her chin up some and releases a light laugh at the bit about children. She mockingly rolls her eyes. "I can't even imagine. Hopefully not something I'll have to deal with for a long time." She adds with another slight smirk. The bit about the spears being included in the delivery has her laughing lightly again to him, and nodding once.

"I'll start watching Youtube videos about how to properly wield one. Hopefully that increases my odds of not being found dead on one in the sewers in the not too distant future." She smiles, even though it's a grim thought!

April moves to the edge of her seat then and rises up. "Well, I won't take up any more of your time then, Mister Richards. This has been a big help, and hopefully we can catch this monster because of it."

Reed Richards has posed:
Reed Richards grins and nods, "Oh, they're a joy and I'm sure it will happen in it own due time, as It did for Sue and I."
He stands, "You tube is alway a nice first stop when researching unusual skills. Not at all, I appreciate you coming in. I'm sure this will be taken care of in short order."
